Fantastic experience: Everyone was super friendly. Smiles all around. Very nice and easy to work with. The chair even gently massages your back, which was a bonus! They played music while cleaning my teeth, which calmed my nerves a little bit. Would highly recommend making an appointment with them for your next dental visit!

Fantastic experience: We had such a great experience with Dr. Han Nguyen at Hutto Hippo Family Dental. She’s very gentle and easy to talk to, and she really takes her time walking you through everything so you feel comfortable and informed. The whole visit felt calm and not rushed at all, and her team is just as kind and welcoming. They made my family feel really comfortable, especially the kids, which is not always easy at a dental office. We actually live in Cedar Park, but it’s absolutely worth the drive to see Dr. Nguyen. Fantastic experience: I have been going to Hutto Hippo Family Dental and seeing Dr. Baker for a long time now (10ish years). I can truly say they are the only dentist that doesn't try to rip you off or nickle and dime. They have actual values and care about their patients. The front desk staff is also always wonderful. They don't take way too much money up front (and have to refund later), and are very good with all of the admin/insurance matters. Would highly recommend!

He was also readily available to me when their office was closed. The dental hygienist is good at her work and makes sure to provide you with as much knowledge as possible so that you don’t have future issues. I will definitely keep going back!!

Fantastic experience: An amazing experience!! Very Conscientious Doctor, full of great stories to take your mind off of why you’re there. Dr. Baker is very thorough, explains everything as it is happening, provides next steps, has an honest prognosis, and is a good Christian man with family values. And it’s not a place where you feel like cattle in an auction arena. It was the best root canal I’ve ever had! If I wore a hat, it would be off to all of the staff for the way that they treat their customers.

Fantastic experience: Had my permanent retainer come unglued and needed it reattached. They were easy to work with. Got me in right away and was able to reattach it no issues. They weren’t the ones that did my braces since that was 15 years ago in another state! But they were able to help me out and it’s back on and they did a great job!

Fantastic experience: I've been going here for years now, and can honestly say, this is the best dental staff I have gotten to know. Everyone is polite and excels at providing good customer service. The staff are very knowledgeable and take the time to educate you about dental health. Most importantly, I'm comfortable while I'm here. The chairs have rollers in the back, so it feels like a mini-massage while you're getting worked on, plus the dental team takes the time to ensure you're comfortable throughout your appointment. I will continue to go back, and hope the culture doesn't change anytime soon. Last thing! There is a referral program, so be sure to tell your friends and family to accumulate credit for future services!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Baker took me in to do a root canal and was also able to do it without placing a post. I wish that I were still in TX so he could do my crown now. Highly recommend him!

Negative experience: The cleaning I had was horrible.I ended up with a huge pain. The lady who did the cleaning was not gentle at all. Will not come back.

When you came in last Thursday on 9/15 as a new patient you saw Maria, one of my two hygienists. Maria is very thorough and tends to spend the whole hour with her patients. Both of my hygienists are gentle and I have never had a complaint of roughness about either one.
You mentioned that you had sensitive teeth (especially to cold) before we got started. Maria took pictures of your mouth and showed you where you had gum recession with exposed root surfaces. Those areas can be quite sensitive to cold drinks especially after a cleaning has freshened the surface. you stated that you liked to use a hard bristle toothbrush and brushed aggressively. I believe you stated that, "...makes my teeth feel clean." Maria went over brushing techniques, recommended a soft bristle brush or even an electric toothbrush instead of a manual "scrub-em" type toothbrush. We also talked with you about using anti-sensitivity toothpaste to control your tooth sensitivity.
I don't know what else to say from there. I'm sorry you were unhappy with the service you received.
