Fantastic experience: Everyone is so friendly and personal. So glad that I chose them for my dentist.

Negative experience: Worst one ever. Had to wait an hour even though I made an appointment. Somehow after seeing doctor I was waiting for cleaning my teeth. They told me there’s no one that can work right now. They asked one who’s taking a lunch break to help me, had to wait for her a while. The place is nasty. Seems like no one is cleaning. Everything is old. Worst thing is they over charge you so even of you have an insurance you gotta pay pretty much amount of the bills. The dentist I used to go with no insurance was cheaper and that’s ridiculous. Who ever willing to visit this place I highly recommend not to.

Negative experience: Very bad experience here this branch need to be closed because they have the worst management they are very rude and disrespectful a manager named Gharien very rude and disrespectful personality I recommend removing him from this position no qualified for this job please remove him.

Fantastic experience: I was calling around Georgetown to see if somebody could fit me in before July 4 weekend for a broken tooth. These days all dentists seem to be trying to upsell so I was getting annoyed. The Castle staff was on it - They got me a same day appointment in Round Rock and figured out a way to use my out of state insurance so it was covered. Folks, I didn’t make it easy - yet they remained professional, competent and kind. I have to change dentists next year and I will use them again.

Fantastic experience: Scheduling was easy- availability was great, front office staff was patient and very helpful when I had issues with insurance transferring, the assistant and provider were friendly and knowledgeable and mindful of if I felt pain- I hate the dentist but they made it a great experience

Fantastic experience: I like this castle dental because it’s better than the other one because every time I go it’s the staff they are not taking any of my phone calls when I make an appointment and sometimes they are not in the office and the dental assistant are walking around and not being with patients in the exam room and they have their radio and it’s loud and I feel bad because I need a dental crown and dental filling and so I’m not done and I can’t believe that they left me like this and so I like this castle dental because the place is clean and there’s nobody walking around and being distracted and so I always get “call you” to remind you your appointment and this castle dental isn’t doing the same and so this one is like on track and so it seems I’m gonna be at this one because what I want is to be kept up to date and not suffer and I don’t like asking questions about on how I got that many dental crowns because when I was with this castle dental a lady wanted to know the full story on how I got them and I told her it was due to poor oral health and check up and so I like this one because it’s quiet and so I’m giving them a 5 star because they are gonna keep track and updated when it’s time for my scheduled appointments with them and so I wanted something where it’s not distracting and not ignoring my phone calls and so what I’m looking for is to take my phone calls and make appointments and leave messages and ask questions on what kind of dental procedure needs to be done and keep me updated and so I like this castle dental at this location and so it looks like im gonna be going to this one from now on. because the other one is like no help and I don’t like to be ignored and so I’m gonna go to this one from now on.

Fantastic experience: I was really impressed with the dental assistance that they had helping the day that I went for my visit she was from the Killeen Texas office, her boss was on maternity leave. She was very helpful in explaining to me exactly what I needed to do as far as my plan for my teeth.

Fantastic experience: The staff and the Dentist Sirjana Sapkota, DMD are all very compassionate and very helpful. I had my partial break, and some other extensive work to be done. And speaking with the Dentist we made a plan. Took my insurance. And the process was seamless. I would highly recommend this establishment.

Negative experience: Warning: Avoid the Castle Dental on Palm Valley Boulevard (by the HEB Shopping Center). Castle Dental used to be my go-to office, but they’ve completely changed staff—including the dentist. I went in recently with a severe infection and excruciating pain. Despite multiple numbing shots, I felt everything during the procedure. When I told her the pain was unbearable and that ibuprofen and Tylenol hadn’t helped for days, her only response was, “Take more ibuprofen.” She prescribed amoxicillin and sent me away. The next morning, my face was swollen. I had to see an oral surgeon, who told me the tooth had to be extracted immediately—or I could’ve ended up in the hospital, or worse. He said it was that serious. I was shaking from pain, and that dentist refused to help. Please don’t make the same mistake I did. Go somewhere that actually cares. Plus since they weren't able to do the entire procedure due to the pain that I was in since the dentist couldn't get it right what I did have to pay they didn't even offer to refund until I had to call back and ask for a refund because the part I had to pay for was the only part that my insurance would not cover I should have been offered that refund when I was leaving. The only bright side to this interaction I had to have was the gentleman named Gary that worked at the front desk awesome guy very kind did whatever he was able to do to help.

Negative experience: Two weeks ago I scheduled an appointment for my son to be seen today at 8:30am. My husband and son waited outside until 9:30am. The office is closed and empty. No one called to reschedule or say they were closed. I received a confirmation text on yesterday for his appointment today. Very disappointing and unprofessional. Terrible customer service.

Negative experience: am extremely disappointed with my experience at the Round Rock and Pflugerville locations. The quality of work and the level of professionalism I encountered were far below expectations. Communication is a serious issue here. Calls frequently go unanswered, messages are not returned in a timely manner, and when you do reach someone, explanations are often unclear or rushed. In a dental setting — where patients may already feel anxious — communication and clarity are critical. Unfortunately, that standard is not being met. The work performed did not reflect the level of care and attention patients deserve. Dental procedures require precision and genuine concern for patient well-being. When that care feels rushed or careless, it damages trust. It honestly feels like there may be deeper organizational issues affecting staff morale and performance. If employees are overworked, under-supported, or underpaid, it shows in the service patients receive. Investing in proper staffing, training, and fair compensation could significantly improve the level of care. When employees feel valued, patients feel valued. Right now, the poor service and lack of organization are driving clients away. That means fewer returning patients, negative word of mouth, and ultimately lost revenue. This is not just a patient satisfaction issue — it is a business sustainability issue. Both the Round Rock and Pflugerville locations would benefit from a serious review of their management structure, communication systems, and quality control processes. Patients deserve professionalism, transparency, and high-quality dental work. Until meaningful changes are made, it will be difficult to recommend these locations to anyone. I hope leadership takes this feedback seriously and implements changes so that future patients can have a better experience.

Negative experience: Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience at Palm Valley Castle Dental. I received a root canal and crown treatment, but the crown fell out multiple times within a few months. When I returned, I was told by management that the original treatment was done incorrectly and that the procedure should have been handled differently from the beginning. Since October, I have tried to contact this location many times to resolve the issue, but I was unable to get any follow-up or support. I paid a significant amount for this treatment and was left without a proper solution. I hope management takes patient concerns more seriously and improves communication and accountability.

Negative experience: I really want to warn anyone considering this location. We originally had to reschedule because the doctor wasn’t in the office that day. When we finally came in for our appointment, they were calling other patients to reschedule as well. It seems like a repeated issue. If you are a new patient, they do NOT do a cleaning on your first visit even if you schedule a routine cleaning and exam. I made the appointment specifically for a cleaning, but once already in the chair, they told me we would have to come back on another day. That was very frustrating and feels misleading. The office itself was extremely disappointing. The walls were dirty and yellowed, the blinds stained, and the room looked unsanitary. The equipment appeared outdated, and the tools weren’t even in the room. The assistant had to keep leaving to go find what the dentist needed, which did not feel organized or professional at all. Overall, the whole environment felt unclean and not well maintained. I strongly recommend reading the reviews before choosing this location. I wish I could add pictures attached for reference.

Negative experience: How to review the Castle Dental (Palm Valley, Round Rock)... I would just give 0 stars if I can b/c they don't even deserve 1 star. I went to them in early Sept for x-rays and cleaning. They did x-rays and then gave me a referral to an orthodontist (since they thought I was grinding my teeth at night since I still have my wisdom teeth and this is what dentists tell me when they see I still have them, in spite of the fact that I have had no issues with them ever), telling me that they had no hygienist to clean my teeth so would need to schedule that later (which they didn't even offer to schedule it for me nor call to follow up). A few weeks later, I called them to schedule the cleaning. However, no one answered the phone... called about 5-6 times again each week and even left messages with no return calls. I got a notice in the mail from my dental insurance company that the services they did were all patient responsibility as well (even though it stated this is not a bill). I tried again calling them for several weeks to no avail. I finally decided to call another Castle Dental to help me. I live in Pflugerville so I called the Pflugerville one since I got an email that this one was open again but got the same results of no one answer, leaving messages with no return calls. Both the Pflugerville and this Round Rock Castle Dentals message machines say to go online to schedule an appointment but this online method was not even working. Anyhow, that is my experience with this Castle Dental... if you are lucky enough to make a 1st time appointment here for X-rays and are expecting a cleaning the same day or even in the same 3 months from the time you have the X-rays done, you may just consider a different dental office altogether. I did, however, call Castle Dental (Braker Ln) on Research Blvd in N Austin and finally was able to get a team of people who diligently worked to help me and I finally got my cleaning done today (just over 3 mo later).

Positive experience: Does anyone know if this location is open? Palm Blvd. I've been calling wa able to leave a message or two.now it does not take. I whent by and the door was locked. There wasn't any signs or note at the door. There were some packages delivered outside .

Negative experience: Where to begin.. I started seeing Castle Dental Orthodontics back in 2021, where they told me I would have braces for 18 months. I didn't have a lot of teeth issues, it was very minor and there wasn't a lot I wanted fixed. Fast forward 18 months later I had already seen 2 different orthodontists through them that changed my braces plan. By this time I had already paid off the $5K amount in braces and each visit they continued to ask me for money. Each visit after they expected me to pay almost $200. I never got an itemized receipt from them to know exactly what I was paying for since I ALREADY paid for the braces. The receptionist, Betsy, just came up with this number and FAILED to ever tell me any further details, there was always an excuse. Now it's 2025, I still had my braces from Castle Dental, I was now seeing my 5th orthodontist, Dr. Smith. He was by far the WORST medical professional I have ever been to. Each visit he would come in, make no conversation, look in my mouth, tell the assistant to note whatever and tell me he would see me again X weeks. He left no room for me to ask questions, and when I would ask the assistants questions they would tell me "Oh you'll have to ask the DR next time". Every next time was the same thing. They had no real plan for me and continued to schedule me to come back just for more money. At one point I had to just find somewhere else to go, I stopped going to Castle Dental and they never called me to reschedule or confirm treatment. I will never recommend this place to ANYONE. There are so many better options.

Negative experience: I felt quite rushed when I arrived to get my X-ray pictures taken. I can’t recall the name of the lady, but while the plastic piece was inside my mouth, the wiring was hanging down to the floor. The lady was rushing a bit too fast, which caused her to trip on the wire and yank me forward while the piece was still inside my mouth. It hurt, but I didn’t say anything because I just wanted to get out of there after that incident happened. Overall, I wasn’t satisfied with the service I received.

Negative experience: Over two weeks to get a call to schedule getting a crown put on. Went in for a crown but turned into a root Canal and they left the tooth sharp w temp filing, no temp crown and it’s been cutting my tongue. They OVER CHARGE ON ALL Services per the sheet provided by the insurance company. They do not return calls. Almost 3 weeks and still no call to set the crown!

Negative experience: I'm tired of this office all the time they spend canceling appointments and moving to other offices and when one gets there for the appointment the place is closed and they never warn before, my son is the fourth time they cancel him for a cleaning, he has braces and the same thing also happens in ortho, I already had an appointment scheduled for this Thursday, November 13 and they changed it for the 12th I received the notification to attend and I accepted it and on the web it says that it will be closed, I have tried to communicate but I have not succeeded, the truth is this is frustrating and a waste of time, they need to do something to fix this problem

Negative experience: The staff at this location changes so frequently, it's impossible to have a consistent experience. I needed to schedule my routine cleaning and had to change to a different Castle location because the Palm Valley office currently has no hygienist on staff. What??? During the summer, I needed a root canal and had to drive an hour to the Killeen office in order to be seen by an endodontist. I also had a veneer applied to one of my front teeth recently, and iI'm having serious discomfort issues with it, but now there's yet another new dentist and she has been either unable or unwilling to address the issue and fix it. The office personnel is also different every time I go there. All new faces every time. It doesn't do much to create patient confidence.

Fantastic experience: Everyone from the receptionist to the dental surgeon made my experience at Castle Dental fantastic! I was having a wisdom tooth removed, so it wasn't the most fun of procedures. The dental surgeon was amazing and explained every step of the way prior to the procedure being performed. I would highly recommend Castle dental to anyone!

Negative experience: I have been trying to get my dental work done for two years! When I went for my evaluation here, I knew instantly that I would have my work done here. Dr. Kang put me at ease and he actively listened. The staff is great! I highly recommend this Castle Dental! As you can see, my review along with the dentist has changed since my initial experience. I went in to have my immediate dentures adjusted. That's all I needed or wanted. I don't like surprises or high pressure sales techniques. So I said no thanks and left. A few days later I received a bill for $365.00 for "implant balance"! What implants!!! I have called their office, visited in person, and contacted my insurance company and the saga still continues. BUYER BEWARE! I will never get any work done here again. I STRONGLY recommend that you don't either!

Negative experience: Waited 45 min to see Dr, nothing done. Issued pain pills and have to wait one week to go back for another consultation to see another Dr. Front desk took there sweet time to make this appt. Asked if they could hurry please cause I was in.pain and the so called manager rolled her eyes at me.. Poor customer service on front desk help. Also this facility is a dirty facility. Chairs were stained. Needs a make over. Horrible experience. I will be changing my Dentist office...

Fantastic experience: Today my mom had an appointment at 2:00. We arrived about 1:45 but she didn’t get seen until about 3:00 because they were running behind. The lady at the front desk was reassuring us that we would get scene soon but they were running behind. We totally understood. During the 2 hours that waited I heard several conversation on the phone and in person that these ladies encountered and they responded back with the upmost patience even though the other person was not being so nice. I applaud them for there wonderful customer service skills and Randy went above and beyond to make my moms cleaning extra special. Kudos Castle Dental and staff for all the great work today!

Negative experience: I really hate to leave a 1-star review for the office that managed to squeeze us in for an emergency appointment. However, their lack of urgency and problem-solving skills is utterly disappointing. I took my son to the office in April because he needed two teeth removed. Since it was an emergency visit, it was just a consultation, and we had to schedule the actual procedure for the following week. But here's the kicker—I had to prepay for the procedure using my HCSA card. Fast forward two months, and I find out I was overcharged for the prepayment, putting my HCSA card at risk of suspension. After countless calls from both myself and my insurance company, we're now four months past the initial procedure. My card is suspended, and there's no resolution in sight for my refund. I haven't received a single call back or any form of communication. I have to constantly call the office for assistance, and that's after my initial calls are dumped into voicemail. I must emphasize how disappointed I am with their complete lack of urgency in resolving the overpayment. Not only am I unable to use my HCSA card for any other doctor visits I need, but I feel like if I owed them money, they would have sent it to a collection agency by now. So, here I am, forced to leave this poor review and still no resolution.

Negative experience: GET YOUR SCHEDULING RIGHT! After almost 2 months of trying to get a follow up for my procedure because I am experiencing discomfort the office schedule me for 8/1/25 at 2PM . I got the reminder text as well. When I went there I had to call repeatedly and finally got someone on the line only to tell me the office is CLOSED! Wasted my time! Then I leave a message, and you don't return the call. If you aren't willing to see existing patients, you should just say that. If you are willing to see existing patients, take their calls.

Negative experience: I scheduled a appointment at this location and took off work to make it. 2 hours before appt i received a text stating the appt is cancelled and to reschedule. I called and did that. The day of my new appt instinct told me to call and check before I left work early. I was then told that my appointment had been cancelled again because the dentist is on vacation, and i cant be seen for another 2 weeks. No one called or informed of the new cancellation and id have to go to another location a couple weeks from now. So i been in excruciating pain trying to alleviate my issues. I dont recommend this place as im crying from pain as i type this message. Had to walk in to emergency dental.

Negative experience: EDIT: I broke my tooth. Came in and paid $600 for a crown. They put the temporary one on and booked an appointment for a month later. Then texted me that the appointment is postponed and - GHOST. Not responding to texts or calls. 4 weeks later, my teeth still hurts and no permanent crown in sight. I'll have to walk in and see if I can get it handled. Seriously, I'm only here because of my insurance. This is horrible. ============= Plan on a long wait. Sadly, they have no respect for people's time. They booked me at 1pm. I show up and the lady behind the desk says - your appointment is at 2. We take lunch at 1. When I return, I still need to wait. They text me the forms 5 min. Before my appointment... Just no respect for people's time. They accept my insurance so I'm here.

Fantastic experience: On my arrival at the clinic yesterday, I told the lady at the front desk, am sorry am late for the appointment. What time is your appointment, she asked? I responded 2:00 pm, terrible traffic on Interstate Highway 35. It was about 2:30 pm. She said don't worry we take care of you. I completed the paperwork, followed by an ex-ray. The Dentist walked in and introduced herself, checked on the tooth and asked questions. After the consultation, I stopped at the reception area and thanked the lady that made my day. This is what I call 'customer service'

Negative experience: Unprofessional front desk staff, horrible scheduling system. First appointment for x-rays I waited over an hour to be seen because a hygienist was not scheduled to come in. A follow up appointment was made a for a month later to get teeth cleaned and reminder card was given. The day comes, it takes 30 minutes, with no line, to be told the cleaning appointment was never made/saved.

Fantastic experience: Facility was nice and clean, and they have a great team here. Even a few familiar faces from Pflugerville location. Fun sense of humor, especially since I went in at the end of the day.. thank you ladies!

Negative experience: So my endeavor started 5 years ago, and ever since it's been nothing but issues after issues after issues, getting appointments, rescheduled to hidden fees to nothing ever going right in them, always overcharging the hell out of me, I recommend not going to any of these locations as they're just gonna bend, you over and not give you any Vaseline. My dentures never fit right?And they're terrible that can't eat with them just terrible job.All the all the way around

Positive experience: Long wait to go back. Took X-rays. Waited to see dentist. Then waited to see hygienist. Then waited to check out. Prices are high Was quoted $900 for deep cleaning. And that's with insurance! I can't afford that!

Negative experience: They never answer the damn phone they get you in and then never follow up and heaven forbid any dental assistant is needed after they get there money . My daughter bracket broke on the same day because it wasn't properly done and they have still yet to call me back since Thursday last week

Fantastic experience: I usually don’t like going to dental offices and have had some bad experiences with some in the past. However, Castle Dental on Palm Valley is exceptional! The front desk staff was very kind, and made the check in process very smooth and easy. Adriana the dental assistant was thorough in taking x-rays and was patient throughout the process. Dr. Virani provided a great cleaning and was gentle and thorough with her dental examination. I can tell she truly cares for all her patients!Highly recommend and will continue to come back to this office in the future!

Negative experience: I'm a long standing customer and they simply canceled my appointment without a heads-up. And simply just wanted to reschedule when I showed up to my appointment. Instead of seeing if there were other personnel that could see me. Just bad customer service. I'm not going back anymore.

Fantastic experience: My brother finally had 6 decaying teeth removed by Dr. Beltran. Don is doing quite well. Second day, very little pain. Pretty tired, but rest is good. Thank you Dr. Beltran and Cheyenne. We will see you in a month for a new set of teeth. My brother is so happy to have had this done.

Negative experience: Came here months ago to be looked at for Invisalign. Hint - never got any nor any work done from this place. Here’s why - your front desk people need to learn to be a bit more respectful. I was told to email my insurance to Betsy, to which I did and I was then spoken down on in a condensing tone because I “ didn’t email her “…. I showed my phone to her to prove I did, and she was looking at the pdf file numbers of the photo I had sent and was asking me what I typed into my phone and why I thought that was her email… lady you’re looking at the wrong thing lol. also, I was told that I would not be a candidate for Invisalign, I’d need to do braces for 18 months as well as get a surgery for an expander in my mouth and somehow Betsy seemed to find amusement in that, I was very obviously disappointed as teeth are an insecurity I’ve always struggled with, and this place also not taking my insurance didn’t help. Betsy made a point to sit there and repeat “ you’d need a surgery after 12 months, do you understand ? do you understand ?? “ and making a point to even write it down on the paper and underline it aggressively while smacking her pen on the paper “ do you understand ??? “ English is my first language .. yes I understand. It put a bad taste in my mouth, they also said I had gingivitis and 4 cavities. I left this office in literal tears after being spoken to like a child and getting my hopes up on finally getting my teeth straightened. Anyways, I held off on this review because I’m not one to try and make a huge deal. But this review is being left because they are out for your money and unethical. I was seen by my childhood dentist to where I was told, no cavities at all nor gingivitis. lol. this place was wanting to charge over 300 dollars for a “ deep cleaning and fillings “

Positive experience: My experience was not bad. Castle is very Corprate if you know what I mean. The facility was a little run down. The Dental assistant was amazing and her manor was professional as well very welcoming and very informative. For such a large facility I was surprised how staff was short handed and they only have one hygeinest on staff and to have appointment so far out it did not make sense to me. The senders was very nice but had no time to assist in any explanation of the treatment. With that said I chose to get a second opinion. My situation is a very costly group of procedures I would have probably moved forward if I got more direction from Denison but the front desk receptionist did explanation not much knowledge with that. I chose to spend the 15k somewhere else that would give me more personal explanation to treatment.

I called 6 offices and they heard what I had to say but because it was 4:50pm on a Monday, they weren’t prepared to have a dentist help me out. Castle dental did. Fantastic experience: I am very anxious when I go to the dentist. However, Dr. Beltran and his staff were exceptional. Dr. Beltran explained what he was doing every step of the way and his assistant was also very kind. The staff in general are great, very polite and helpful. Fantastic experience: As always, I’ve got no complaints. I’ve been there twice and had my teeth cleaned twice by Randy roundabout way I think He likes. Inflicting pain on me. In a good way. He is very gentle and friendly and informative. The two young ladies at the front desk are exactly the same. They’re kind easy to talk to. They don’t make you feel like a client or patient they make you feel like Family. The whole staff there to me is amazing to go. Anywhere else would be absolutely erroneous. I love Castle dental

Fantastic experience: My son and I had our dental cleanings this morning. The front desk staff and the assistant who helped with my X-rays were very friendly and professional.

Negative experience: My experience could have been better. The place is not clean at all. The floor is black with dirt. The chairs are yellow, which is fine, but they are not clean, which is a problem. The equipment is also dirty. I noticed that the tubes are almost black, which is disgusting. The staff are okay but not my kind of people to work with. They treat you like you’re just another number. They won’t even listen when you ask, “How are you?” When I did the X-ray, it was very frustrating, and I was trying my best to stay calm. The technician moved me around like I was another machine, and she was moving so fast like she couldn’t wait to get it over with. The waiting time is also annoying. Why give me an appointment if I still have to sit and wait? The doctor is nice but not considerate. I explained that my teeth hurt, and he was checking my tooth aggressively while also hitting my cheek. They said the place has been open since 2013-2015. However, proper maintenance and staying on top of things could have prevented the cleanliness problem. Overall, I didn’t like it, and I won’t go there again. They all treat you like another number walking through the door. At the end, we are humans and we are supposed to interact and ask questions, but no, they don’t ask you anything. All they do is just say things and move

Fantastic experience: My visit was short but informing. The denist told me what dental problems was what it took to fix them. I was very pleased. Great service!

Negative experience: The staff are NOT friendly. Have insurance claims? This office will NOT help you. I have been working with my insurance to have my claim paid out. Oddly, my insurance company has given me better customer service than this office. Amber the office manager does not respond to emails for weeks. I have been trying to have this resolved for MONTHS now, FIVE months to be exact!! Do NOT get orthodontic work done here, they rip you off!!!!!

Negative experience: I wouldn't recommend this place. Completely unprofessional—they canceled the wisdom tooth removal session at the very last minute without even calling to inform us. We took the initiative to call them, and to our surprise, they said the current doctor is not well-versed to perform wisdom tooth removals. The appointment was scheduled a month in advance, and my wife has been in pain all this time. Now, we have to find a new surgeon because of this.

Negative experience: Made an appointment for new patient and cleaning and they told me the hygienist was too busy for me until the very end of the assessment. Overall just unkind experience. They asked to take my blood pressure so I held out my arm but i didn’t realize it was one of the wrist cuffs and in a condescending tone say “um you’ll have to take your watch off.” Then they gave me a paper for my treatment plan to sign and I didn’t want the night guard due to financial reasons. At the very bottom it said “I agree to this treatment plan” along with financial liability and whatnot. They got irritated with me when I told them I didn’t want to sign it (I’ve had a bad experience with that kind of forms before). This is the first time I’ve had dental insurance as an adult so maybe I’m just dumb but overall bad experience.

Fantastic experience: 20 yo daughter had all four wisdom teeth pulled (oral surgery, general anesthesia) and after 24 hours she's doing amazingly well. The doctor and dental nurse/assistant were both informative and kind and answered all our questions in a friendly, professional manner. She has very little swelling so far and she keeps saying her pain level is at a 3....so no OXY ....only ibuprofen. The surgery and in-office recovery time lasted just a little over an hour. So far we are very pleased with the experience, from start to finish. I just hope she heals nicely with no dry sockets or infection!

Negative experience: I moved to Texas and decided to go Castle Dental in Round Rock TX. I was quoted $1100 as a copay for cleaning, then told I would sent to a periodontist and an orthodontist. I really only needed deep cleaning a gap closed. The dentist boldly said "I am not doing anything cosmetic on her"! I told the office to call my dentist in NYC. I knew exactly what was needed! Simply and badic. The office couldn't recommend a periodontist or an orthodontist. I was really passed off. I found another dentist and for $1K, I got everything that I needed.

Negative experience: I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at Castle Valley. I scheduled an appointment for a teeth cleaning, expecting to have a straightforward procedure done. However, my visit turned out to be a frustrating ordeal that left me feeling taken advantage of. When I arrived for my appointment, I was informed that I needed to get X-rays as a new customer. While I understood the necessity of this step, what followed was an unexpectedly long wait of a hour just for the X-rays. To make matters worse, it was during this extensive wait that I was informed that my appointment was not for a teeth cleaning, as I had believed, but rather for a consultation. This critical piece of information had not been communicated to me prior to my visit. I had spent over 2 hours there and got nothing I didn't already know, and still not even a basic cleaning as i wanted. During the consultation, I was told that I had some gingivitis and that I should have my teeth cleaned. This was the very reason I had made the appointment in the first place. To my dismay, I was then informed that this consultation was separate from the actual teeth cleaning procedure and that I would need to come back and pay an additional $200 for the cleaning itself. This bait-and-switch tactic was infuriating and left me feeling like I had wasted my time and money. What struck me as particularly concerning was the lack of transparency throughout the entire process. The staff failed to communicate the nature of the appointment accurately and seemed more focused on extracting money from me than providing the dental care I had initially sought. The fact that over 70% of people have gingivitis raises suspicion about the integrity of their practices; it appears to be a ploy to exploit insurance coverage and increase profits. In conclusion, my experience at Castle Valley was deeply unsatisfactory. I left the premises without receiving any actual treatment, despite spending hours there and paying for a service that was not rendered. The lack of upfront communication and the apparent attempt to capitalize on my dental concerns make me hesitant to recommend Castle Valley to others. I hope that this review serves as a warning to potential customers, urging them to exercise caution before seeking dental services at this establishment. Update response. You have my number, feel free to call. Just a update, i have yet to hear from them. They still have my money and no service from them.

Fantastic experience: The nurse Destiney was extremely helpful, calming, and very kind. I’m scared of needles and started freaking out at the shots, I started crying and felt so embarrassed but she told me I was brave and gave me a tissues and helped me calm down, you could clearly see she cared about the patients!

Negative experience: Called a week in advance and made appointment to have my permanent retainer fixed as a wire was broken and irritating my tongue. Upon showing up, the front desk admin said the orthodontist would refuse to see me because I did not get my original retainer placed with them. When I explained I had gotten approval and quoted $350 to get a new one when I made the appointment, they still refused as they said it was a liability since I did not originally get my retainer placed with them…Why on earth would you take the appointment and quote me if you knew I wasn’t an established patient? Bad business practices and terrible customer service.

Negative experience: Went to the dentist here today for tooth pain, she absolutely refused to prescribe me anything for pain after I told her I couldn’t take NSAIDS. She repeatedly stabbed me over and over in my gums to try to upsell me saying that I have tooth bone issues on the side of my mouth that didn’t hurt, she kept saying “oops I’m sorry, oops I’m sorry” I finally stopped her. I have never been so angry at a dentist office in my life! My mouth hurt so bad. This is literally why people say black women are unheard in medical offices, my pain is my pain. If you are a person of color, just bypass this place altogether.

Fantastic experience: One word…..AMAZING! I had a tooth removed yesterday and it was horrible but what tooth extraction isn’t! What wasn’t horrible was the staffs level of professionalism! From receptionist to oral surgeon assistant to oral surgeon, everyone was more than helpful and on top of their game! I’m healing well and headed back to work tomorrow! Negative experience: Went in for a periodontal cleaning and a polish. The cleaning was done but the polish was not, as my teeth are still stained. So I paid $300 out of pocket and did not get the service I should have gotten.

Negative experience: My first appointment with them was back roughly in April which went well but it was to have my wisdom teeth pulled since they are causing crowding in my teeth, after two months of them trying to call me to schedule an appointment once a month to go over everything with their specialist without me saying so they stopped trying to schedule anything with me and its been six months and still no contact from them on proceeding forward or any of my cleaning appointments. Definitely would not recommend this place unless you just want a basic cleaning but nothing more!

Fantastic experience: The dentist found out what was causing my pain. Was gald to find that out but the work took 4 hours too long for me have very Sensitive gum and don't like when they have to Numb my gums it hurt me a lot. But all went well glad that part is over.
