Fantastic experience: Just had my two appointment crown treatment done. Dr Poest and his assistant Laura were Simply Terrific! I had been quoted over $1600 by my regular dentist and knew I had to look around to see if I could get a better price as a senior living on a fixed income. I didn't expect to save almost $1000 by going to Simply Crowns. Dr Poest explained that the traditional dentist has to charge these high rates for crowns because he makes little profit on cleanings, fillings and x rays. Highly recommended!

Positive experience: You get what you pay for. I would not recommend Simply Crowns unless it is truly urgent and you have no other option. The pricing is very enticing, but the quality of care and work I received was extremely disappointing. During my first visit, Dr. Poest made what I can only describe as a disgusted facial expression while discussing an infection in one of my teeth. The one crown I received here fits poorly, looks nothing like my original tooth, and has caused ongoing gum irritation and difficulty flossing. They did offer to redo it, but I ultimately decided I would rather pay to have it corrected elsewhere. I also had an extraction next door with Dr. Hijazi that was even worse and is one of the biggest regrets I’ve had. He struggled during the extraction, knocked off one of my crowns in the process, and I experienced nerve-related symptoms afterward that left me very concerned. What bothered me most was how rushed everything felt. He spoke post-op instructions while actively suturing, provided no printed instructions afterward, and permitted the dental assistant to recement the permanent crown that had been knocked off! At one point he even dropped/slammed some kind of tool on my chest! When I later called concerned about the nerve symptoms, I did not hear back from him until after the weekend. Fanny at the front desk and the rest of the staff were genuinely kind and helpful throughout the process, which is why I am giving 3 stars. For these reasons, I cannot recommend Simply Crowns. I support and appreciate the effort in making dental work more affordable, but not at the expense of quality, professionalism, and patient trust.

Fantastic experience: I came to this office because another dentist after giving me 2 crowns told me I needed 2 more crowns at another $2500 after I had already paid this for the 2 previous crowns. Dr. Poest looked at my teeth and said I didn't need the crowns that the previous doctor said I did and my teeth were in great shape. I was so happy that he saved me the pain and expense of getting unnecessary work done! I highly recommend Simply Crowns! If I (hopefully not), ever have to have another crown done I will be coming back. Very professional and honest people!

Fantastic experience: I had a broken tooth that needed some repair. I got a few estimates from other places of $1300-$1500 to do the job. I had heard of Simply Crowns from ads on TV and the radio. I checked into them and decided to go for it. I was a little nervous, but the staff was very nice and it was a brand new office with all the latest equipment. Dr. Poest and the tech prepared my tooth for the crown and I got my temp put on with no problems. Two weeks later I got the crown put on and it fit and color matched perfectly. These guys did a much better job than my regular dentist and the total cost was just like they said, $699. Thanks again, AL

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this place. From start to finish, the experience felt genuinely patient-first. The dentist took plenty of time to walk me through all of my options, explained the pros and cons clearly, and never once made me feel like I was being sold to. It honestly felt like they were more focused on helping me make the right decision for my situation than pushing a procedure. Although the timing didn’t end up working out for me to have the procedure done there, I was really impressed by how un-rushed and thoughtful the entire visit was. The dentist took time to talk things through, answer questions, and give honest feedback. The front office was also extremely helpful, especially with getting my X-rays sent over quickly. Their rates for crowns and implants were outstanding, and based on the professionalism, transparency, and care they showed, I’ll absolutely be recommending them to anyone who needs this type of work done.

Negative experience: I’ve been a patient at Simply Crowns for some time and had a generally good experience, with several crowns completed successfully. However, my recent encounter left me extremely frustrated and disillusioned. In November of last year, I needed to replace a crown, and Dr. Talebloo informed me that the tooth beneath was decaying. She advised me that it would not last much longer—at most, maybe 3 years—but that it could potentially snap off at any moment. Her exact words were, “It’s a jewel, not a tool now.” I appreciated her candidness and decided to wait a few months to save up for the necessary treatment. Ultimately, I chose to go to Mexico for an implant to avoid any further complications with the tooth. However, the periodontist I saw in Mexico examined the tooth and told me it was in fine condition, only needing a filling and cleaning. He assured me that it could last many years. Feeling confused and frustrated, I reached out to Kyle, the owner of Simply Crowns, to explain the situation. To my surprise, he blamed me for removing the crown and stated that the advice I received was merely “their clinical opinion” and not a formal diagnosis. This explanation felt dismissive, especially considering Dr. Talebloo’s firm warning that the tooth was at risk of breaking. It was hard to reconcile her urgent advice with Kyle’s statement that it was only an “opinion.” At the end of the day, I felt that Simply Crowns failed to take accountability for the advice I received. My experience left me questioning whether I could trust their recommendations in the future. This is my honest opinion, and I would strongly encourage anyone considering treatment here to proceed with caution.

My crown was delayed by couple of days and I had to go out of town. Doctor wanted to come on her day off to place it. Fantastic experience: This place is fantastic. Dr post and his team provided professional and affordable care. My dentist at atx family dental wanted over $1200 for a zirconia crown with only 2 year warranty! Simply crown was able to provide the same crown material (zirconia) and 2 yr warranty (seems to be the industry standard) for nearly half the price. A bit of online research led me here and it payed off big time. I also like that they specialize in crowns, it made the decision easy. Not sure why anyone would pay a dentist 100s more for a crown installment when you can go to crown SPECILIAST (this place) and get it done for less. The whole process was 5 stars from start to finish. The whole team was very accommodating and got me in quickly and even readjusted the temporary crown when I had an issue. I met Dr tallebo and she was great too. This place has their act together Highly recommend this place!

Fantastic experience: Clean well kept facility. Pleasant and caring staff. Low paperwork. No wait. No muss, no fuss. Dr and assistant explained everything well. Felt i was in good hands with them. In and out in about an hour with my temporary crown.

The doctor, whose name I unfortunately forgot, showed excellent bedside manner, care, and gentleness when replacing the crown on my sensitive tooth. I've been to 4 dentists in 9 months every wonderful gave me a different treatment plan and thousands of dollars difference in what my cost would be. One actually gave me an estimate that they were going to do more work for less money. No transparency at all it was like buying a car pretty soon every everyone's going to walk around with no teeth. Fantastic experience: I have had two crowns performed by Simply Crowns several years ago. I was very pleased with my appointments and the results. Yesterday, I started to chew a Milky Dud and before I knew it, my crown had popped off of my tooth! (Halloween candy bought early). I called Simply Crowns in Pflugerville and they were able to get me in this morning. Dr. Talebloo, her tech and everyone in the office was very friendly, helpful and professional. I highly recommend!

Negative experience: The dentist solution was very complicated and expensive. Waste of my time. In addition the dentist stated there was no adhesive that can be used between crowns and veneers. Not True: Light-Cure Resin Cement: This type of cement is ideal for veneers because it allows for precise placement and extended working time. It is highly esthetic and does not change color over time12. Dual-Cure Resin Cement: This cement can be cured using both light and chemical reactions, providing flexibility in different clinical situations2. Total-Etch Resin Cement: Known for its strong bond and esthetic properties, this cement is often preferred for veneers3.

Fantastic experience: I recently had 13 veneers put on at about one-half the cost from my regular dentist. The teeth look sensational. I have broken a few veneers and ithey were all replaced at no charge. I recently broke part of a molar and got a crown for it at SC. My wife has gotten a few crowns at SC. Dr Talebloo is a gem. She’s accomplished, detailed, concerned for her patients and friendly. We plan to continue with SC for our crown and other teeth needs.

Fantastic experience: I am a 76 year old woman who still has panic attacks when going to a dentist. At Simply Crowns I had the best dental experience ever. The doctor was very patient with me and I was able to make it through the entire process without any attacks. I have scheduled another crown for next month.

Fantastic experience: I needed a visit soon and they were able to get me in quick and delivered everything I asked for. Staff was very kind and patient and it felt like every second of my time was important to them.

Negative experience: If it too good to be true you should avoid this place at all cost! They will up charge you and lie to your face! I had 2 previous consultations prior to simply crowns. I called simply crowns to have a bridge done. I didn’t need or want a consultation. They agreed to do the bridge without a consultation. I drove a hr there spent close to 3 hrs in the office had no work done (l was insistent that l only wanted work done no consult) The “owner” even told me they would take care of the work l needed done. After 3 hrs they told me they wanted $600 for molds and a $100 consult fee on and above the cost of a bridge! Simply crown can not be trusted with your dental needs. AVOID this place or it will cost you time and money!

Fantastic experience: Wonderful, professional and friendly staff. The atmosphere is calm and the facility is clean. Most of all the do a great job for way less than a regular dentist. I will pay less even though I am not using insurance. Also, there are no hidden up charges even for followup appointments!

Fantastic experience: I just wanted to thank the entire staff for an awesome experience. They were all kind and funny and made me feel very very comfortable. I had an implant that was loose. I went to 3 Dentists spent $400 on x-rays. All 3 Dentists informed me I have bone loss and that I need a bone graph and that the tooth is infected and needs to be out right away. They also started to tell me that the other implant I had was infected and needed bone graft as well. I got an estimates from around $5000 to fix them both. I have struggled with trying to find work and this was just not an option to pay that money right now. For five months I had my implant loose. I then had A friend mentioned to me about simply crowns. I went in and Mrs. TALBBLOO worked on my tooth. She was able to find the tools and tighten it. It made me cry. I’m so grateful that she just didn’t say we got a pull that tooth right now and do a bone graph. It’s really rare to find a dentist that’s generally concerned for the patient. Fantastic experience: Dr. Talebloo was excellent. Had only seen Dr. Post in the past who I just loved but he was unavailable so I gave Dr.Talebloo a try and was not disappointed. Why would anyone go some place else for a crown. That is all they do here and their expertise shows. Staff is awesome too!

I have about 4 crowns from dentist and even with insurance was paying $1,000. $699 was what I paid and they did a better job then my previous crowns. The crown was a perfect fit.! I highly recommend. Fantastic experience: What a great experience! The Team at Simply Crowns in Austin are amazing. I needed two crowns. I was able to get in quickly for the temp crowns. Back in for the permanent crowns when I got back from Thanksgiving holiday. The crowns look amazing. I’m picky because my brother is a Dentist for the Choctaw Nation in Oklahoma who I can’t use! They do not accept Insurance but will give you the paperwork to file. You will have to have coverage for an Out of Network provider. At $699, this is an amazing deal with great service and beautiful crowns!
