Fantastic experience: Surprisingly good dental experience. The facility was clean and well cared for. They called me back 3 minutes after my appointment time so basically no wait which was amazing. The hygienist was accommodating for me during the exam and provided extra support to help with any anxiety and pain/sensitivity that arose.

She restored my tooth without charging an outrageous amount or insisting on a completely new restoration, which is what every other dentist suggested. She was honest and straightforward about the cause of the problem. Instead of trying to sell you unnecessary treatments, she genuinely focuses on helping you with whatever situation you’re facing. She and her team are excellent, and she is an outstanding professional. She repaired my broken tooth in less than 30 minutes at a fair price, and it actually looks better than it did before! Negative experience: The dental hygienist is great and the dentist is good; however, the office policies and customer service are lacking. I arrived for my 12:00 PM cleaning, checked in, and was waiting when an urgent work issue came up at 12:10 PM—before I was even taken back. I was told I could reschedule but would be charged $65. Within 30 minutes of leaving, I received a bill. When I called, I was simply told, “That’s our policy.” Disappointing customer service, especially since I bring multiple family members here and there are plenty of dentists to choose from. The office is very rigid and not customer‑focused. I do not recommend.

Negative experience: First and foremost, the dental hygienist is great, and the dentist is pretty good as well. Unfortunately, the office policies and overall customer service are highly lacking. I arrived for my scheduled 12:00 PM cleaning, checked in, and was waiting to be called back. At 12:10 PM before the hygienist had even picked me up my boss texted that she needed to meet with me urgently. When I informed the front desk, I was told I could reschedule but would be charged a $65 fee. Notably, when I checked in, I was already required to sign a reschedule/cancellation notice. Within 30 minutes of leaving the office, I received a text message stating that $65 was due. When I called to discuss it, the only response I received was, “Sorry, that’s our policy.” This is disappointing customer service especially given that I am bringing three family members to this practice and there are dental offices on nearly every corner. Customer experience and flexibility are extremely important to me, and this office operates in a very rigid manner. I do not recommend this office based on customer service alone.

Fantastic experience: Our entire family has been coming to the clinic since it opened. The entire staff is exceptional! They are great with our kids. Dr. de Souza is so knowledgeable and so kind. Tysha does my cleanings, and I couldn’t be happier! Strongly recommend!

Negative experience: Waiting area was dirty, food was smeared across the seats. I arrived 20 minutes early with all forms and insurance completed well in advance of the appointment date, only to be taken back 20 minutes after my appointment was scheduled (40 minutes wait time). Technician was incredibly rough while doing X-rays, and only after those were completed did she say that it was too late in the day to complete a cleaning and I would need to reschedule for another time. I scheduled in with a different dentist office as soon as I got back to my car from this appointment, and I would never consider returning to Smile on Wells.

Fantastic experience: I have had dental trauma since childhood and I’m usually terrified of going to the dentist. Dr. Michele completely changed that for me. She made me feel incredibly calm, comfortable, and cared for, and I didn’t feel any discomfort or pain during the procedure. The clinic is beautiful, new, and very cozy, and the entire team is extremely friendly and welcoming. The prices are also very reasonable. Even though I live in Dallas and have to drive about 3 hours, it is absolutely worth it. Dr. Michele will definitely be my dentist from now on!

Fantastic experience: Very caring staff. Excellent even with my adult child with disabilities. She has refused many times over the years to even open her mouth at other dentist offices, and Dr. Sousa and staff were able to clean her teeth and even get some X-rays this time. They’ve definitely been very mindful of going at her pace and making her comfortable to where she was even singing a little song today when we got there.

Fantastic experience: I knew I wanted to try a new dentist out for a long time, but was too afraid to take the plunge until my husband went first and let me know how great everything was. I decided to follow suite and was not disappointed. My dental assistant was so friendly and sweet and when I tell you they do a thorough job!! My old dentist only spent a fraction of time on the cleaning and explanation of everything. I was recommended to get a night guard and have gone back in for that to be scanned and made. They have a great set up and have top of the line equipment and friendly staff that actually greet you and smile when you come in. Safe to say I’ll be going here up until I move if not life! They also were more than accomodating when I had to bring my son. They even gave him a toy at the end of the visit for being a patient little visitor.

Fantastic experience: I have anxiety going to the dentist because of pain afterwards but I had no issues afterwards. Absolutely loved my hygienist. Very soft spoken, relaxing, and over all very nice. The dentist was very nice as well and easy to talk to, she made you feel comfortable. The atmosphere was clean and very comfortable. You can see they take cleanliness seriously. My whole family now goes here and I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: The staff were amazing and friendly. From the receptionists to the head dentist. The dental hygienist clearly explained all the cleaning procedures and how to maintain a healthy teeth cleaning habits. The head dentist was awesome and did a great job with the checkup. She throughly reviewed my dental history and took her time to discuss my current dental situation. I was very happy with the service and will be smiling on Wells !!

Fantastic experience: What can I say...... Dr. Souza is amazing at what she does. I like to give her a hard time in all fun and games though. We keep eachother laughing. Her staff is top notch. From the front desk all the way down to the janitor. Well, I've never met the janitor, but I'm sure if I did they'd be amazing as well.
