Fantastic experience: My experiences with ATX Endodontics Round Rock, Texas have been very positive. I recently had a surgical procedure performed by Dr. Derek Lin. In our initial consultation, Dr. Lin clearly explained the issues, the findings, the surgical procedures, and the expectations. Dr. Lin is an excellent communicator. He seems to welcome questions. He has a great sense of humor, which for me helps greatly in reducing anxiety. I was also impressed by the pain management. I found staff to be friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: The receptionist was polite and efficient in getting me scheduled. I was lucky that there was a same day appointment available. I was in a lot of pain and I had a hard time staying still, but the Dr was calm and patient with me. I appreciated his professional demeanor. And also that he made my crown look better than when I walked in. The assistant was kind and held my hand during the injections of the numbing medicine. Overall, I’m very happy with the results of my root canal and the people that work there.

Fantastic experience: I had a root canal with Dr. Cecchin and everyone in the office was really helpful. The procedure seemed like it was over pretty quickly and there was only minimal discomfort afterwards. I've had a couple of root canals in the past and they were kind of scary. Dr. Cecchin and everyone else in his office were so great that I felt relaxed and not worried about having a root canal. Fantastic experience: I had an emergency root canal done yesterday; I had an appointment with another endodontist, but just couldn’t get me In until next week. Every day, the pressure grew more intense. They were incredibly professional, took x-rays throughout the process to make sure he treated all of the root. I had a root canal and a crown on this tooth so this was a retreat root canal. The process took a hour, he was able to save the tooth and didn’t damage my existing crown.

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of having Dr. Cecchin work on a couple of my molars recently. He is has a great bedside manner and explains what he's going to do and why, works quickly and safely, checks all his work thoroughly to make sure everything is as intended, and at the same time works quickly to ensure the procedure doesn't take longer than necessary. Additionally, his assistant is kindhearted and empathetic, also works quickly, and regularly checks in to make sure you are comfortable. The office staff is very professional and polite, and provides any explanations where needed.

Fantastic experience: I had a terrible mystery pain for several days that my dentist couldn't figure out. I had to wait till the following Monday to reach out to ATX. They worked me in and quicly assessed the issue. Even though their schedule was full that day, they worked me in immediatley to help stop the pain. It didn't feel like they were doing it for the money. It felt like they had empathy for my pain and wanted to stop it as quickly as possible. They explained every step as we moved along so I knew what was going on. I have a special circumstance where I don't get numb like normal people. I require a special type of numbing meds and a lot of it. I told the doc that nobody believes me when I tell them that and thus my anxiety thinking about the pain made me very nervous when going to a new person to work on my teeth. He told me he wouldn't do any work until I was very numb. He gave me enough medicine in the right places to where I felt no pain during the proceedure. As a matter of fact, I was still a little numb before I went to bed. I was pleasantly surprised. They also have a new tech called Gentle Wave that provides an enhanced cleaning of the root system to remove even microscopic infected material and promote faster healing. I did a little research and I feel like this is a big plus of choosing ATX. They called me the next day just to see how I was doing. They didn't have to do that, but the fact that they did, made me feel like I was important to their business. I cannot thank them enough!!! I wouldn't hesitate to work with them if you are having pain that your dentist cannot figure out. Thanks again ATX!

Fantastic experience: I'd give 6 stars if I could! I've literally never had a good experience at the dentist -- until now. Talked to them Thursday, seen Monday. I was taken to the back within 60 seconds of arriving, they partner with a financing partner so it was affordable for me, and the pricing was actually lower by at least $1500 from what I was quoted 2 years ago for a root canal by the dentist who created my referral. And to top it off, Lacy and Dr. Cecchin even posed for funny selfies with me that I sent to my fiance to let her know how it was going! Cannot recommend this place enough!

Fantastic experience: I had a root canal with Dr. Ceccin at ATX Endodontics and could not be more pleased with the process. I’ll be honest, I was very anxious about getting a root canal but Dr. C was so good at explaining the process during my consultation. I did opt for the sedation route given my anxiety. When i arrived at the facility for my procedure they made sure i was comfortable before they started. After the procedure i had very minimal pain, only had to take 1 Tylenol an was back to normal the next day. Root canal can be daunting, but not in the skilled hands of Dr. C and the ATX Endodontics team. Also the office manager Shayna goes above and beyond, and the front desk ladies were super knowledgeable and helpful! Thank you team for making this as easy as possible

Fantastic experience: Getting a root canal is NOT pleasant, especially when you have nerve issues and the tooth/area cannot be completely deadened for the procedure. ATX suggested conscious sedation and it made all the difference in the world between a horrible experience and one that was more than tolerable. The staff are attentive and caring. Fantastic experience: Absolutely recommend Dr Cecchin. He did a fantastic job, I am one that typically requires root canals regularly. I would 10/10 go back to him if ever needed.

Negative experience: This has been my second root canal with ATX Endo with 2/2 complications. The first involved a file breaking off within the canal and being left there as a “part of the composite”. I was reassured that there are studies supporting a root canal procedure may still have high chances of viability; however, the doctor who broke off the file in my 4 hour procedure had only encountered this once before. After having paid the full amount of this prolonged and questionably successful root canal, I came back twice more because they suggested further x-rays to verify. My second procedure was performed by a different doctor (I learned that the first one who had broken off the file was no longer with atx endo). This procedure took the expected 1.5 hours but felt rushed as the first appointment of the morning. He nearly tossed the tools on my chest as he completed my root canal. The numbing injection in the roof of my canal continued to hurt and get worse weeks after the procedure. After attempting to call the office to schedule a check up, they ensured my swelling (to the point of pain in talking and swallowing) was a normal risk and prescribed me amoxicillin. Getting into contact with the office and doctor took 3 whole days. Once told that the prescription had been ordered I checked with my pharmacy who hadn’t received any order. Finally, I called the office again to verify and they reordered the medicine which eventually helped with the pain and swelling of the injection site (1 month after the root canal itself).

Fantastic experience: I recommend ATX Endodontics. They completed my root canal quicker than I thought. They were very friendly and accommodating. And they called to check on me the next day. A plus!

Fantastic experience: Never in my life did I think I'd be writing a positive review for an endodontist but ATX deserves it! I have been a patient of theirs for years but hadn't been seen since 2018. As soon as Shonnie picked up the phone, it was like talking to an old friend. She is the heart of this operation and I have now had a bad reaction to the gas which she consoled me through twice. The new endo Dr. (starts with a c) is incredibly talented and was able to save 2 of my teeth that not look like it was going to be very likely to save. I also called them in a real jam and they were able to not only work me in but performed the root canals the next day. Office staff was wonderful and kept me updated throughout. If you're looking for an honest, talented, endodontist, I highly recommend their office. I will never go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: I am glad that I went to ATX Endodontics for my root canal. I had been referred to a different endo specialist by my general dentist, but they were out-of-network, so I chose to go with ATX Endo instead. The staff were very nice from check-in to ct scan to chair. They made the process very smooth and relaxed. Dr Cecchin was fantastic. He explained everything on my xrays, answered all my questions, and worked on my tooth very skillfully. The process was not as painful as I was imagining, only slightly uncomfortable with some sharp, 1-second jabs of pain felt in my tooth on occasion. I was a little nervous having never had a root canal before, but overall, it was not a negative experience at all. The office is also very clean and has nice ambient lighting. I recommend this practice to everyone needing endodontic treatment.

Negative experience: I had to pay 392.00 for a consultation but didn't get any answers that I didn't already have before the consult regarding a possible root canal. I was informed I would need to spend more money 2499.00 to see if a root canal was possible. If you are asked to pay a consultant fee greater than 150.00 you are being ripped off. I went to this comapny as they were confirmed as in Humana's network but when they found out mine was an individual policy not corporate it wasn't accepted by the dentist. I'm a retired person in my 70's heed my warning. Don't do business with comapnies who require consultation fees as this is their work around in not using your insurance so they can make more money. What happened to the dental industry. In previous years when you went to your dentist most dentist could perform services for saving a tooth for a crown.

Negative experience: ATX Endodontics told me my root canal would be around 1600 over the phone when scheduling my appointment. Only after the procedure did they inform me that it is actually 2500. Nearly a grand difference.

He asked a lot if I felt any pain so he could fix it with more novocaine. I would definitely recommend this place.

They were engaging, addressed my child’s anxiety and concerns and even provided some humor to put her at ease. Such a great experience for something that could have been very scary.

Fantastic experience: They were hands down the best dentist's I've ever had work on my teeth. They were very professional, and incredibly kind during my anxiety attack. I highly recommend them for anyone who needs works done and has an anxiety disorder.

Positive experience: I'm only giving ATX Endodontics three stars for the sake of Dr. Simon and his assistants because they are great at their job, friendly, and treat you the patient with respect. The receptionist/front office on the other hand, gives off a used car salesmans vibe and for that the loss of two stars. Because I was being squeezed in at the end of the day, she demanded upfront payment of over $1,300 before anything was even done. Her explanation was that she wouldn't be there to take my payment after my visit because she would already be gone for the day. That's a "your" problem....not mine. I don't mind paying my copay up front, but to pay for things I may or may not need....pfft....not happening. I found another Endodontics Office who saw me the next day and was charged hundreds of dollars LESS "after" my root canal was completed. Sad to say, but I won't be returning to Dr. Simon due to his used car salesman collecting excessive funds. Wouldn't be surprised if after an audit, they find she's been skimming money. That's my opinion anyway, an no I won't be calling to speak to your office. She's treated me this way before.

Fantastic experience: The staff and facility were wonderful. I have a lot of anxiety of going to the dentist but everyone made my visit tolerable. This will be my go to place if I ever need another root canal (heaven forbid)!
