Experiencia fantástica: Been at this dentist place since 2007. Always on top with all the tech bells and whistles. dr. Orza is fantastic. One minor issue - the dental hygienist keep on changing a bit more frequently than desired.

Experiencia positiva: Update to original review: this office has shifted focus toward efficiency, add-on sales and profitability. Nothing wrong with that, if it’s not too overt. But I feel less like a patient and more like a component to someone’s retirement plan. The dentist and staff are capable, and there’s one likable hygienist. For years I drove much further than necessary to stay with this practice. The value of is no longer there, so I found a terrific dentist closer to home. Below is my original 5 star review: Was loyal to Dr. Nic, but seemless transition from him to the equally capable Dr. Orza. Great staff, covid conscious in all respects, thoughtful and considerate care. Much as i hate seeing a dentist, I've never dealt with a better practice.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a very nice first visit here today (after skipping my normal visits elsewhere for the past year and a half due to insurance network coverage)! Thankfully, I didn't have to wait long (5-10 minutes) after arriving a few minutes early for my late afternoon appointment. When it was my turn, I was warmly welcomed by Laura Jean (LJ) who, besides sharing fun conversation of great bands we liked to listen to, walked me through my introductory regimen of X-rays and a mouth scan (some very cool tech!). Afterward, Dr. Orza went through the scans, X-rays, and the AI analysis, pointing out areas of concern and fielding my questions and answering all of them to my satisfaction. There did seem to be quite a few things that needed to be addressed, but I was given a full explanation and write-up of everything, including my out-of-pocket costs, what things were optional, and where things could be delayed to a later date (thanks Cecily!). Finally, I have to say that instead of a goody bag with a toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss -- which we usually throw into a big bag to give to shelters -- the parting chocolate chip cookie is the most unexpected and hilarious thing I have ever gotten from a dentist's office! I'll be looking forward to another after my root canal! :)

When my phone was called regarding another patient, the staff laughed and made dismissive remarks instead of addressing the matter directly. At no point did they confirm who I was, yet I was treated rudely. A respectful explanation would have been the appropriate approach. The sad part is that I was a patient here and had planned to continue my care, but after this experience I will now be following up elsewhere with a practice that values professionalism and respectful communication.

Experiencia negativa: Don't let the dentist and hygentist fool you! Today's Dentist has gone down hill since Dr. Nick left. The dentist - E. Orza took over wanted to make more profits and made the hygienists (Shelia and Laura-Jean especially) to tell the patients that they have serious dental problems and have them come to the office as often as they can - like deep teeth cleaning 3-4 times a year instead of twice a year). They push the patients to take X-ray every time. Laura-Jean was the one wouldn't compete the cleaning and forced me to come back to finish the dental cleaning which is very unprofessional and rude! E. Orza made the office recepitionists/office managers and hygienists calling those patients and old patients (who went to different dentists already) coming to the office at around 6p.m. once a week with undisclosed phone number for the last few months. Most importantly, Orza is no longer in any insurance network and he didn't/doesn't tell his patients about the changes and I found that out from my insurance company few months later myself. This dentist - E. Orza is dishonest and not transparent at all. Don't go to this dental office. Go somewhere else with better and honest dentist and hygienists. Not Today's Dentist!

I was not given a guilt trip or a hard time like I was worried about, instead I got a good treatment plan and good advice to move forward with. I like this place so much that when I changed insurance plans for a couple of years I kept going here even though they were out of my new network

I hadn’t had a cleaning in over a decade because I was constantly misled by other practices about my insurance being in network, which of course made dentist visits outrageously expensive. The team at Today’s Dentist were super transparent about costs and procedures and it was clear that they prioritized my dental health and the care of their patients. Not only were they extremely thorough with costs explanations, Donna also made it a point to explain every step she took throughout the process and did everything she could to make me feel comfortable. (It helps that she’s genuinely funny) I hate that it took me so long to discover this practice but now that I have, I’m never leaving!

Experiencia fantástica: I never liked going to the dentist, but I must say that Today's Dentist in Roswell (Dr. Oraz and Dr. Hagadas) is the best. The office is always clean, and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. You seldom wait but a very few minutes to be called from the waiting room to be seen for your appointment. My family and I have received wonderful dental care from both Dr. Orza and Dr. Hagadas. Also, if you want an experienced dental hygienist with a great personality, ask for Laura Jean! And if all of this isn't enough, the staff bakes cookies for patients to have as an after-appointment treat.

Experiencia fantástica: Couldn’t ask for better!. Sheila has been seeing to my dental health for years. She answers any questions I have, explains her plan forward, ensures my comfort and gives me breaks when I need it.

Experiencia negativa: After 8 years, I have been fired as a patient. I prefer every other year x-rays, as I do not have a difficult case. This frequency was agreed to until a couple of years ago when the push became more aggressive. This practice seeks to get every service dental coverage might offer, and push every upsell. I wonder if either of these practices are necessary or just profitable. When I rejected x-rays 1 year since the last X-rays, there was a lot of push back and assurance that it was covered by my insurance. I reminded her that premiums go up when claims go up. Then she said there was a LAW requiring annual X-Rays. What law? She consulted the dentist, and they offered a cleaning only, no exam, and a release from their care. Apparently my challenge of the hygienist's claims that there was a LAW requiring annual x-rays was too much bucking of the system, and I got a letter from Jody Philpot (11/26/24) with a notice of dismissal due to a different dental philosophy. I wonder if since 2x annual cleaning and exam are not legally compulsory, how could any service within that exam not be voluntary? My follow up research confirmed my suspicion. According to the American Dental Association (ADA), most healthy adults with no major dental issues only need dental X-rays every 2-3 years, meaning annual X-rays are not typically required for everyone; however, individuals with a history of dental problems, gum disease, or other concerns may need more frequent X-rays, potentially once a year depending on their specific situation.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been going to this practice for about 10 years and have always been very happy. They run on time. Billing is always done right. My hygienist is always careful and competent. Dr. Orza is very thorough and conservative. I feel like they employ the latest technology. And best of all, I have never felt like they are trying to upsell me. When I have needed something done beyond the usual x-rays and cleanings, it has been done right the first time. Plus, everyone in the office is pleasant. I've never dreaded going to the dentist with these folks.

Experiencia negativa: Yesterday afternoon (October 2, 2024) I went to Today Dentist during my lunch break because it was within walking distance of my workplace. One of the screws that held the tooth I had made for the implant had fallen out and needed to be replaced. After waiting for about half an hour, Dr. Emil Orza accepted me. He asked if I was his patient and when I said that I was not his patient and that I only wanted my fallen implant screw to be replaced, he said, “You are not my patient, go to whoever your doctor is,” and dismissed me rudely. I am not someone who usually writes comments easily, but I am making a note here so that other patients can know what kind of person this doctor is.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. H is amazing! I came here for a second opinion because I had some concerns with a former dentist. Dr. H took and his staff took their time with me, did a thorough exam, and were extremely personable. 10/10 recommend!!
