Experiencia fantástica: I was very impressed with Dr Alvarez Kiely. She took the time to explain my issues and did not pressure me to make a decision. Her office is very nice and she uses what appeared to be new modern equipment and the latest technology. I just visited again for the first time in a while and I am impressed with the new ownership and the friendly caring staff. I see they are continuing in the great tradition started by Dr. Alvarez Kiely! Highly recommend!

Experiencia negativa: The team under new operation was nice. However, I was very disappointed that they charged me for almost 300 at the end of the visitation ( I paid full amount) and then later billed me another 500 dollars something when I got routine Xrays and teeth cleaning done that day. I have been having this insurance since Dr. Alvarez was here and probably got charged no more than 100 dollars for all year. In addition, I did upgraded my dental insurance to premium (still the same) company. I unfortunately had to say goodbye to them cause I felt like they weren’t straight up about the price at all.

We do want to clarify that our office does accept insurance. Many individuals continue to have little to no out-of-pocket cost depending on their individual insurance plan. However, every insurance plan is different, and insurance benefits are always estimates until a claim is processed by the insurance carrier.
Our office provides written notices and explains that any insurance estimate is based on the information available at the time. The final amount assigned as patient responsibility is determined by the insurance company after the claim is reviewed and processed. Dental offices do not control what an insurance company pays or what portion they assign as patient responsibility.
We understand how frustrating it can feel when the final insurance outcome is different than expected. Our goal is never to surprise or mislead anyone. We remain committed to being as transparent as possible, providing kind, high-quality dental care, and continuing to improve how insurance estimates and patient responsibility are communicated.
Experiencia fantástica: My client had an appointment today. It had been a while since her last visit. The Dentist and Hygienist took excellent care of her. We were informed of each step taken. She was provided excellent care. If you are looking for a Dentist, here’s a great one.

Experiencia negativa: Have to update my prior review: I loved this place so so much under Dr. Alvarez. She would tell me exactly everything is before doing a single procedure. I checked and double checked with both the front desk and the sweet hygenist before my cleaning to make sure I would not owe anything (I am working two jobs right now and money is so so tight) and they assured me that even with the new insurance system it would be covered under my plan. I just got a bill in the mail for $191 (for a cleaning!!). I am so so disappointed. I was so happy here, but I've canceled future appointments. I feel lied to. I genuinely cannot afford another medical/dental bill right now.

No dental office wants to call a patient with an unexpected balance, especially when everyone was relying on the benefit information available at the time.

Experiencia negativa: Edit: Place has been sold, front staff doesn't tell you upfront they are out of network for everyone. Super misleading. The best so far, they seem to treat their staff well unlike some other places. They didn't try and sell me a thousand things and were able to promptly assist me in my time of need

Whitney is a wonderful hygienist - she is so friendly and extremely good at making sure I was comfortable the whole time during my appointment. I felt safe and comfortable with a dash of pride when I walked out the door. I’ve referred several of my friends to this practice. They are truly unique in their approach to caring for their patients. I wish I could give 11 stars. See Dr Villar, the man has skills. A true artist as well as professional. He truly deserves the accolades. I’m one happy camper!
Experiencia negativa: WARNING. After going to this practice for almost 10 years with my family and recommending/recruiting several new clients, we will no longer use this dentist office. Be careful as the practice has recently changed ownership. Based on our first and last experience with the new, unprofessional "strategic marketing" person as well as bait-and-switch pricing differing from our signed treatment plan, we will not return to our formerly beloved Roswell Dental Studio. The old staff was amazing, and we will miss them.
We are truly sorry that your recent experience left you feeling disappointed. Our patients mean a great deal to us, and we take concerns like yours very seriously.
On the staffing front, the same team you have known for many years is still here and continues to care for patients with warmth and professionalism. We have added a few new team members as the practice has grown, but there has been no turnover among our long-standing clinical staff.
Regarding your concern about pricing, mistakes can occasionally occur, and we understand how frustrating that can be. While we cannot address the specifics of any individual account in a public forum, we can share our general policies. If an error is identified before treatment, our protocol is to explain the discrepancy, correct it, and minimize any impact on the patient. If treatment has already been completed and we later discover a billing error, our policy is to honor the original quoted fee for that completed care. We never intend to change a fee after a signed agreement, and we are sincerely sorry for any confusion or distress that may result when an error is found.
To comply with HIPAA and to protect the privacy of all patient medical and financial information, we are not able to discuss personal details publicly or online. We would welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly so we can review your concerns in a private setting and work toward a resolution. Dr. Alvarez, Dr. Villar, and the entire team care deeply about our patients, and we hope to have the chance to rebuild your trust.

What else can you ask for from a dentist office? I will be seeing Dr. Alvarez and her team for the rest of my life (if they take me). Thank you! I’m very grateful for the service. —————— Very good experience, although I had to wait more than 30 minutes for the service. The dental hygienist is very gentle and thorough, she was also extremely patient with me. I have some sort of childhood trauma connected with the noise of the drill in close proximity, that makes me very nervous when sitting there. She was fantastic! Dr. Alvarez is professional and personable, she offers good information and tips on how best to exercise dental hygiene. The best part is, that she is not trying to sell you any work that is not necessary. In the past I experienced that with other dentists and it's very awkward. I also want to comment on the friendliness of the front desk staff and the x-ray assistant. I fully recommend their services! Just make sure to schedule ahead of time, I waited 3 months for my appointment.

She was excellent, very attentive to a couple of issues with teeth that need work, and while there she took care of one of them. The words I would use for she and the whole staff are: superlative, efficient, warm, thorough, advocates. I simply cannot say enough good things about Dr. Alvarez and the whole team.
