Experiencia fantástica: I had an unexpected filling that needed to be replaced, and Dr. Hedlund’s office worked me in right away. He always makes sure I am comfortably numb (grin) before he starts working on me, and he and Cynthia are fast and efficient. Plus, Leslie helps me with all my insurance questions. I drive from Suwanee to Dunwoody to see Dr. Hedlund. That’s how much I appreciate his practice.

Kathy at the front desk was very warm, welcoming, and accommodating and made me feel comfortable right away. It truly felt like a home away from home. The hygienist was detail oriented and did a great job with the cleaning. Dr. Hedlund was excellent, highly knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything. Before the appointment, they calculated every detail of my bill and thus I knew exactly what my portion of the bull was going to be. Experiencia negativa: Not sure why there are so many positive reviews here but the dentist here is quite rude. The doctor tried to pressure me to get an unnecessary filling on my two front teeth which I said I’d prefer not to. He kept using condescending language like “do you understand?” and “are you aware?”. I stood firm and I could feel he was actually getting angry at me for my decision. Later on in the appointment, he asked me where I went to school. When I told him Georgia Tech, he was suddenly so much nicer and stopped chastising me about getting the filling. It’s uncomfortable that he treats his patients so differently based on what educational background they have. Fast forward two years, my two front teeth are perfectly fine and there are no signs of decay. Below is a picture of me and my teeth last week. Why would the doctor try to force me to get a filling then?
