We’re always met with super warm and kind dispositions and thorough yet gentle dental care. Dr. Elkins is very watchful of our mouths’ health but isn’t quick to jump to us needing unnecessary work. We trust her advice and care implicitly. Grateful for all doctors making healthcare as comfortable and easy as possible!

Experiencia fantástica: I would like to thank the entire staff here. I called after a terrible appointment at dentist and this location was kind, helpful, understanding and accommodating. When they referred me to an or surgeon they simply called to help instead of a consultation due to my X-rays even though I’ve never given them any money. When I get my new smile, this will be the practice I go to. Often times I find dentist just trying to sell me expensive plans and consultations as if I’m just a bank. This practice went above and beyond for me, and I’m truly thankful.

From Taronda who took such amazing care and basically held my hand through the process to Dr Elkins herself who do an amazing job. NO PAIN WHATSOEVER… and I’m a chicken so this was such a great experience overall. I have found my new dental home!!

Experiencia negativa: This place is the worst. They have fine dentists and hygienists but private equity has ruined this practice. Our children have been going here for about a year and we’ve done extensive work here. We have to schedule everything months in advance which is difficult to do around work and school. This week, they called same day to cancel our appointments due to construction in the office. These are appointments that we made 6 months in advance. We specifically chose a day when the kids were out of school, but fine, we understand things happen. I have now called FIVE times trying to reschedule and I cannot reach anyone who will offer an appointment in reasonable time frame. When you call you can’t reach the actual office, only a call center. Each time I call, they say the office will call me back but I haven’t heard anything from them all week. The appointments they are offering are next year in Jan or Feb! If you’re going to cancel on someone who scheduled an appointment months in advance, then at least have the decency to proactively find a suitable time slot in a reasonable amount of time. I would not recommend this place to anyone and we will be moving our entire family to a new practice.

My daughter has sensitive gums and Brooke, her hygienist provided an amazing cleaning without causing any pain. Experiencia fantástica: I truly feel like family here, not like a customer, or a patient, but like family and that is probably a really weird thing to say about a dentist, but it is true! Before I started coming to Crabapple I had not seen a dentist in years, and some of the reason for that was the last time I went it was rush in, rush out, and my mouth felt like it had been KOed by Mike Tyson. Totally the opposite experience here and I remain SO HAPPY I chose to start coming. So much so that I am moving my daughter to Crabapple as well. I will happily recommend ANYONE to come here because my experience has been nothing but phenomenal.

Experiencia negativa: I came in for a general cleaning, which is covered by my insurance. They took X-rays and then informed me that I had build-up between my teeth (showing me the areas on the X-ray) and said it needed to be removed. They also told me my teeth didn't look the way they should for someone my age, which I found extremely rude and ridiculous considering I'm 22 and brush every day. They then informed me that they couldn't perform the cleaning without this "operation" needed to remove the build-up, and sent me home without cleaning anything. The receptionist explained that the "operation" would require two appointments: during the first, they would numb one side of my mouth, and during the second, they would numb the other side. The cost after insurance was $900! I obviously couldn't pay and left. I went to my old dentist in MN, who took the same X-rays and identified the same issue but cleaned my teeth during that very appointment without charging anything extra. They even took post-cleaning X-rays to show me that they had removed all the build-up. This place seems to be running a scam and probably thought I was naive enough to go along with it because of my age.

Experiencia positiva: Good, thorough service. Happy with them after needing a new dentist. Needed 3 crowns. They quoted 1800+. I know expensive but ... Found quotes elsewhere for 1200 and 1300+. Went with the 1300. At 500 less on multiple that adds up! Honestly think Dr. Elkins is excellent. Her dental staff Iliked well too. Her administrative staff, I did not. Just didn't get a good vibe and dealt with more than 1 person. Also, they need to clean or update waiting room furniture. Stains don't leave a good impression. I recommend Dr. Elkins as a dentist. 5 star if up front staff is more inviting.
