Dr. Tony Chung, DDS

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dr Chung since he started this practice (15+ years) and he is the best. He and his staff really care. On a recent visit I was chilly and they got me a blanket and a neck pillow Best! I needed novocaine and the doctor swabbed my gums with numbing medication and when he gave me the novocaine I didn't feel the needle at all! They are always interested in my comfort.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at Dr Chung’s office. The staff is great and very personable in their interactions when people come in and leave this office. I had to reschedule a few times due to traffic and distance issues, it was quick and easy to do so. Mariah and Maj are wonderful people and do great work there when I have appointments and Dr. Chung is professional in every way, polite and attentive to make you comfortable. Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient of Dr. Chung for over 5 years. I contacted his office during the COVID shutdown because I had a dental emergency. I was given an appointment immediately even though I was a new patient. I received excellent care. During the procedure Dr. Chung told me what he was doing in each step and what it would feel or sound like. I haven’t had any problems at all with the tooth after he took care of the problem. I also had a chipped tooth repaired and it looks great! I’ve received excellent care and am so glad to have such a skilled and awesome dentist. The staff at the office are very nice and responsive to questions. I highly recommend Dr. Chung and his staff.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to this office for over 20 years. Have recommended to all of my family and friends. From the front desk to the cleanings all the way to Dr Chung, everyone is so kind, accommodating, and easygoing. I never dread going to the dentist.

Negative experience: I visited this clinic as a new patient for an exam and cleaning. The dental hygienist was excellent — she was thorough, took X-rays, explained her observations clearly, and recommended a fluoride treatment after the cleaning. She also mentioned that I might need a deep cleaning and said the doctor would review the X-rays and advise whether it could be done at their clinic or if a referral would be needed. Unfortunately, my experience with the dentist was quite different. When Dr. Chung came in, the visit felt very rushed and did not even have five minutes. He appeared to spend very little time reviewing my X-rays or examining my teeth and suggested we would look at everything in more detail at a future appointment. No clear recommendation was provided regarding the deep cleaning, and the fluoride treatment that had been discussed was not performed. I decided to give the practice another opportunity and scheduled a follow-up appointment for a more detailed discussion. However, a few days before the appointment, I was informed that the doctor would not be available, and the next appointment that worked with my schedule was nearly a month later. As a new patient, I was hoping for a more comprehensive evaluation and clearer treatment plan. While the hygienist’s care was excellent, the overall experience left me disappointed.

Negative experience: They told me that I need to take a deep cleaning every two years since I go every three months for regular cleaning. It is a purpose of making money.

Fantastic experience: Been seeing Dr Chung since he bought the practice from Dr. Snodgrass. I called into the office on Friday at 2:00 pm of a three day weekend with concerning tooth pain. Dr. Chung gave me an appointment that very same day at 4:30 pm. He and a dental assistant stayed until almost 7:00 pm opening to drain an infection, provided me with his cell phone and said to call if pain is not alleviated . So grateful to not suffer through the long weekend in pain.
