Negative experience: Extremely slow. Triple book patients to make more money and make everyone wait. I don’t get to see anyone for another hour from my appointment time. I have been told by the dentist that works there that the front desk folks are notorious for double booking patients to keep them busy.

Negative experience: Front desk is rude and liars. They will make you sign docs and then take money from insurance. The lady at the front desk should be fired as she is spoiling Dr. Pannu’s reputation behind his back.

Fantastic experience: They are very welcoming and efficient and helps you be at ease immediately. Also very helpful with any details needed.

Fantastic experience: I went in to get a second opinion after having one of my front teeth removed. The office manager was incredibly professional and patient. Dr. Pannu even took a full-mouth X-ray completely free of charge! He carefully examined the condition of my teeth and gave honest, reasonable advice. It’s clear Dr. Pannu is a highly experienced and responsible dentist. This consultation truly exceeded my expectations. The office absolutely deserves a five-star rating for the excellent service they provided.

Fantastic experience: My hygienist, Sonu, and dentist, Dr Rupal Shah are great professionals. I have been coming here for 20 years now. In fact all of my family comes here for dental care. Dr Pannu himself is always leading the patient care very diligently, and always with a smile.

Negative experience: I have been a patient for over 15 yrs, today I was so disappointed in Pannu dental. I had an appt at 3pm to get a filling repaired, I called ahead and told them I would be late, when I got there at 3:15 I signed in and wrote my name on the paper. At 3:50 I spoke with the receptionist and told her I was still waiting to be called. She looked all flustered and was apologetic, apparently she did not know i had signed in. I didn't get seen till 4:05 at this point I'm pissed off having to wait 50 mins. I get xrays done, dentist comes and sees me and says I should have a crown done. I told her I just wanted the filling for now and I'll think about getting the crown later. She gets the manager to come in for me to sign a paper that I am refusing the suggested treatment and that the dentist should not be liable incase my tooth cracks with just a filling and not a crown. They go back and forth trying to convince me to do the crown with a 350 co pay. I have double coverage Delta Dental. At this point it is 5pm and I still don't have a filling. I feel forgotten and left till the very end as if the dentist didn't want to do the filling. Anyways I leave frustrated wasting 2 hrs. Avoid this place if you can, they will try and sell you invisalign if you don't have picture perfect teeth no matter how many times you tell them no. Is this how Pannu dental treats their loyal customers?

Fantastic experience: I’ve had a generally positive experience at Pannu Dental Group. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the office is clean and well organized. The dentist takes time to explain treatments clearly and makes sure you feel comfortable throughout the visit. That said, there have been a few occasions where I had to wait longer than expected, which did affect my work schedule and plans. It would really help if appointment times were managed a bit more efficiently. Overall, it’s still a good dental office with professional care, and I’d recommend it—just something to keep in mind if you’re on a tight schedule.

Negative experience: Very disappointing and unprofessional experience at this dental office. I came in for a general cleaning, but the service was far below standard. First, the X-ray process was a nightmare. The operator was extremely inexperienced, repeatedly scratching my mouth with the bite block. When I expressed that it was painful, she simply told me to "that’s just how it is." It took 4-5 attempts for a single spot, which is unacceptable and caused unnecessary discomfort. The "cleaning" itself was a joke—the entire process took only 8 minutes and didn't even include basic scaling. After I complained to the front desk, they sent the same operator back to perform the scaling, but the total time for that was still less than 10 minutes. A professional cleaning usually takes 30-45 minutes; what I received was rushed, negligent, and dismissive of patient comfort. I do NOT recommend this place if you value professional dental care.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Pannu Dental since 2007. Now it’s 2026, and it’s still my favorite dental office after all these years. I had my braces done here years ago, and they did a great job. Even though I live far away, I continue to come here for my dental care because Dr. Pannu is the best dentist around. He is very understanding and caring. The last time he fixed my teeth, it took less than five minutes very fast and he did an excellent job! I’m very pleased and truly thankful to Dr. Pannu. Negative experience: Originally, this review had no description. Later, I was asked to take my one star, no description, review down by a dental assistant. I had a horrible experience with Namrita, the office manager. Sorry if the spelling of the name was wrong. I asked what her name was a few times, but each time it was mumbled. When I brought up my concerns with the rudeness of their office manager, the dentist said, "That's so weird, because she's so sweet to me." How strange for your coworker to be nice to you, when they see you and report to you every day. The first time I came in, another patient was angry at her too. I thought it was strange, but after 3-4 visits and receiving consistently passive aggressive and rude behavior myself, I see now that patient was right. Don't come here! Dental service was fine, but it's the bay area. You can find a good dentist a block away. 1 star is very generous, but that's all I can give in order to warn people not to come here.

Fantastic experience: We have visited Pannu dental , multiple times this year for kids ortho appointments. They both had braces done this year and were running into lot of adjusting issues. I had a unique issue that required creating proper space between my upper and lower teeth using braces, and the team handled it with precision from start to finish. Negative experience: I had two recent visits at this clinic, both scheduled as regular cleanings, and unfortunately both experiences were disappointing. During my first visit about six months ago, the doctor tried to recommend an additional treatment that I did not feel was necessary. When I declined, I was asked to sign a liability waiver, which made me very uncomfortable. The wait time during the cleaning was also unusually long — I waited around 30 minutes in the middle of the visit. In my most recent visit, I was again scheduled for a regular cleaning, but the doctor recommended a full-mouth deep cleaning with additional laser/irrigation services, even though I had a deep cleaning done just last year at another clinic and currently have no gum issues, pain, or bleeding. The out-of-pocket cost quoted to me was over $1000, which is far higher than what I have paid elsewhere. I felt pressured into considering treatments that may not have been necessary, and the overall experience did not feel transparent. To be fair, the assistant who prepared me before the doctor came in was extremely kind, professional, and made me feel very comfortable. However, my experience with the doctor and the treatment recommendations was not positive. I will be seeking a second opinion at another clinic. I cannot recommend this office for those who prefer clear, straightforward, and transparent dental care.

Fantastic experience: We got a wisdom tooth extraction done for a senior citizen family member here. Dr. Harish, who has recently joined Pannu, was excellent and caring throughout the procedure. He made sure to review all medications and health history. He was gentle and made sure there was no pain, communicating throughout the procedure. This was an out of pocket expense for us and the front staff was very helpful and clear. No hidden charges. I would totally recommend Dr. Harish and this location.

Positive experience: My hygienist is good. But everytime I come, they always make me do treatment that is not covered by my insurance and I have to pay out of pocket - it is expensive.

Negative experience: Very bad experience with Pannu, these is the third time they have changed my appointment with some reasons.. everyone plan according to their schedule.. I had change my plans third time jn a row .. the very last min they call and cancel the appointment.. very unprofessional.. i wouldnt recommend this business to anyone..i wish i could give them zero.. this happened many times in the past too..

Negative experience: I've never given such low score in dental group, but I think that for this group even this score is bit higher according to my experience. I went there because my general doctor recommended me to go to orthodontist. So I went there, Dr Pannu told me that my teeth are getting bit overcrowded that I need to get my wisdom teeth pull. So,I agree that I said that they can do. Just with one teeth pulling, I felt too much moment happen in that side of mouth. I felt rushed to make that decision to pulling wisdom teeth. Then, I was told that I need rootcanal, on one of my other tooth before any orthodontist work. So, I went there after next appointment. I told doctor, please use anesthesia on me carefully, regardless of gut feeling, one of their woman doctor who was Dr Pannu's niece what she said to me over medicated me more on that side of my mouth. My anesthesia didn't wear off till at least six hours.During my procedure, she told me that she will put some very bitter medicine on her tooth & it's ok to even swallow it. This was bit odd for me to swallow medicine since I was in procedure & had no choice, but to do that. I still trusted them to get crown on rootcanal. For crown rootcanal made me wait for about half a day make crown there & after that crowned which was put came off when I get home. I called same lady doctor who put crown & told her that I'm very dissatisfied with your service because at this point, I was dissatisfied, she said that being disrespectful to her since she is highly qualified doctor there. I told her that you need to hear your patient too for their concerns. She knew that this point that I'm very upset and she did put crown fine. All of my insurance was completely used for these services. Overall I realized that I don't need to go there for any of my further dental needs. So far any of my dental visits previously in my life, there was the most terrible experience, I had. I would say that they have poor customers service & not trustworthy dentist to me. I'm posting this review here because I want to take off all the pain I went through off my chest. Hope that they are treating their other customers better then me!

Negative experience: I paid several thousand dollars to have a crown put on my tooth. It fell off less than two years later and they refused to do glue it back on or do anything else about it. I went to a new dentist who said the crown was very poorly made and, because of a catch on the side of it, my flossing was bound to pull it off someday. In conclusion, they made a terrible crown and then won’t stand behind their work.

Fantastic experience: Doctor Panu is foremost: a MASTER MECHANIC. Some men have a rare technician’s feel for repair, it is an art, it is something that cannot learned completely, not in the way Panu has mastered his art; I can only believe that it must be a blessing. Fantastic experience: Dr. Pannu, Priya and the staff make an awesome team and have been very helpful for the 2nd stage braces for my son AJ! The entire process was discussed right from the beginning, including brace and teeth care, level of discomfort and pain management due to braces, and teeth alignment without the need to remove two or more teeth. Six-month alignment progress is tremendous and the teeth are now fully aligned! Thank you Dr. Pannu and Priya! Update: The entire process of teeth alignment is now completed and it took 15 months from start to finish. AJ's teeth are well aligned and his smile has been the best! He is now wearing retainers which will help with making the alignment permanent. Priya, Dr. Pannu and the staff has been very helpful during this 15 month journey and scheduling the appointment was easiest and on-time each time we had a visit. Regular and prompt updates to the braces, wire, and bands were made during this process. I give 10 for their best service and being very accommodative at all times of urgent needs. Thanks!

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Dr. Pannu’s office in Fremont Since 2009. At that time I needed braces and many people had recommended to go to Dr. pannu’s office For braces treatment. I’ve been coming here for all my dental needs and even had braces here back in 2009. They Did a wonderful job with my braces treatment. I believe the orthodontist name at the time was Dr. Tran and he was amazing. I received great service from him as well. I usually come in every six months for my Standard cleaning appointments. All the staff and doctors are great. They’re all kind, caring, patient and Do a great job whenever I come in. Every time someone asks me if I can recommend a dentist, I always tell them to go to Dr. pannu‘s office. I always tell people about the great service I receive from Dr. pannu‘s office. It’s human nature to Be nervous before going to a dental appointment. But Dr Pannu Office always makes the experience Great due to their kind and caring nature. They always do a Great job of scheduling appointment and are flexible to your needs when you are working a full Time job All I can say is keep up the great work that you do and the great service you provide to your patients.

Fantastic experience: We are a family of four and with Pannu dental Fremont for 10 years. We have experienced different doctors and staff members throughout the years and the services we needed reached from basic cleaning to implants, crowns, extractions, oral surgery and orthodontics for the kids etc... Everyone from their team is very thorough, they are always on top of things, very patient with the kids, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. They are choosing their staff members with care and looking for exceptional and experienced personnel. We feel very well taken care of and would recommend the office anytime.

Dr. Kaur the dentist, was professional and attentive. She took the time to explain each step of the examination and addressed all my questions and concerns with patience. Negative experience: My dad needed implants. I went to this doctors office to get consultation about three weeks . Dr. Kaur discussed everything with us and she said someone will send us details via email later that day. I have called their office about six times spoken to their staff. If I can get estimate/ details emailed to me. They looked into my Dads chart and told me either they will email the details or call me Later that day, which never happened. Their communication system is really bad even if they were not feeling comfortable treating my Dad they should’ve notified me. At this point, I I don’t recommend my dad to get in plans from this place. Also want to let everyone know how Disorganized they are.

Fantastic experience: Today I have just finished my appointment with Sapandeep Kaur and her assistant Gage. C. I have major trauma Because of the many surgeries I had as a child. So now I have post traumatic stress regarding all dental procedures. So you can imagine how hard it was for me to come to this appointment. Because of my trauma, I was literally having a panic attack during my procedure. And Dr Sapandeep Kaur and her Assistant Gage C. was so amazing! They were so gentle, kind and so very patient with me. Which helped me overcome the panic attack I was experiencing. Dr. Sapandeep Kaur kept me calm throughout the whole process. She continuously reminded me to Take deep breath’s in and out. Which helped me tremendously!! I could not have done it without her. Also, Laila at the front desk greeted me with a big smile as I entered the office. I really appreciated that…

Fantastic experience: I got my cavities filled. Doctor Kaur is really very knowledgeable and helpful. I was very afraid of dentist but the doctor and the whole stuff made sure that I am comfortable and they gave me as many breaks as I requested. The receptionist ( Belle) was very supportive and helped me to book my appointments and made my complete process super easy.

Negative experience: Would give 0 stars if I could!! I called to book 3 appointments for my husband, child, and myself. They asked for our insurance information and member ID and booked us 3 appointment 2 weeks out. They called us on the same day to confirm and asked us to come 3 hours early “because the dentist has to leave at 3” (even though our appointments were at 2 and 3). We agreed and left both our jobs early (at 11), and picked up our son from school. On the same call, they asked for our insurance and member ID again. When we got there, they told us that they are out of network and don’t accept our insurance!!!! And offered “to still see us but not bill our insurance”. Their incompetence to do their job is beyond inconvenient. Not only did we lose a day of work/school, but we also lost 2 weeks of wait time, because we now have to find another dentist and book their next available appointment. Truly horrible service. I understand the amazing reviews for the dentists, but if an office can’t even get the most basic part of their job down (booking appointments, checking insurance, etc.) then I recommend you look elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: I have been going here for my braces. All the staff are very sweet and very helpful. Lead orthodontics assistant Priya is very gentle while working. She always makes sure that I am okay whenever she works on my teeth. Highly recommended!!

Fantastic experience: Dr Pannu is our family dentist for more than 8years now. My son recently got a wisdom tooth extraction and Dr Pannu took such good care of him, his healing and recovery was quick. Highly recommend him.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Dr.Liu and Anu was very nice. I have never felt a pain free root canal than this. Dr.Liu has very stable hands and Anu was caring, made sure I was doing okay throughout the process.

Fantastic experience: Sonu at pannu dental is exceptional. I have sensitive teeth and always scared to get cleaning because its painful. She goes above and beyond for her patients to make cleaning painless. I really appreciate her empathy and kindness towards the patients. Fantastic experience: Priya (the lead ortho assistant) was wonderful throughout my braces experience. She helped me through the process giving me tips on keeping my teeth as healthy as possible. I wasn't the most diligent, but she was patient with me. I am glad I chose to come to this establishment. 5 stars, would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Had great experience for my dental cleaning . Dr. Kaur and Anu too time to attend to my teeth and gave good suggestions. Afsoon is really nice too as usual . Very happy with overall visit .

Negative experience: This time Cleaning was done little bit (compared to my previous visits) and didn’t even tell me it’s done and my seat was left … she never came back. People more into selling the items/treatments. It was very bad experience.
