Fantastic experience: I have been going here my whole life! It's a family practice and the service is great. All the staff are very friendly. Parking is available on the street and in a small garage on the side. The clinic is clean and modern.

Fantastic experience: Redmond Dental is family owned business. You will receive excellent service from the moment you check in to the time you leave. They are always punctual, treating you like you’re a member of their family. Our family of four have been patients for over 20 years. My husband and I have moved 2 1/2 hours away and make the trek as we know we are getting the best care available.

Fantastic experience: I had my first appointment today, looking for a new dentist after my dentist of 35 years retired. Hygienist Ally did a fantastic job with my cleaning and assessment, pain free!! Dr Jenny spent the time introducing herself and asking me about my patient history, performing a very thorough examination. first time I have ever walked out of the dentist with a smile! Exceeded expectations, I will be back!

Fantastic experience: Dr Jennifer Tung is an absolutely fabulous dentist. She provides top notch care, is very gentle and also takes the time to answer your questions and make you feel very comfortable. I definitely trust her recommendations and appreciate her kindness and knowledge. She doesn’t recommend unnecessary treatment. The whole staff is great. It’s pretty seamless from check in to check out. I have recommended this office to friends and family.

Negative experience: TL;DR: We are leaving this dental office due to repeated billing surprises, unnecessary treatment recommendations, and provider/service changes made without notice or consent. My husband and I were long-time patients of Dr. Mu and always received excellent care. I even recommended this office to many friends and coworkers. When we scheduled our annual checkups and regular cleanings this year, there was no indication that Dr. Mu had retired, and we were automatically reassigned to Dr. Christopher Tung. During my visit, I received no cleaning at all, yet I was billed for periodontal maintenance, which is significantly more expensive and less covered by insurance. I was told that because Dr. Christopher recommended full-mouth SRP, the hygienist would not perform a cleaning—yet the charge was still applied. My husband did receive a regular cleaning but was also billed for periodontal maintenance, which did not make sense. Dr. Christopher also recommended full-mouth SRP and a filling for my husband. I scheduled two appointments with Dr. Jennifer, but both times he was switched to a hygienist without any notice. During the second visit, his filling wasn’t completed at all, which caused more delays and another unnecessary appointment—ultimately pushing the filling from early September to December. Later, insurance denied coverage for two of the four SRP quadrants for both of us, stating they were not medically necessary. The office appealed, but the dental review board still disagreed. We were then billed for the denied amounts on top of our copay. This raised serious concerns about the accuracy of Dr. Christopher’s recommendations. My own exam also did not match the claim that my condition was so “severe” that an urgent full-mouth SRP was needed—I had only a few pockets over 4mm and no bleeding. I scheduled the full-mouth SRP immediately because I generally trust doctors. A friend, also a long-time patient of Dr. Mu, later told me they left after being advised to get an unnecessary crown. This reminded me that Dr. Christopher also mentioned I would “need a crown very soon” on a tooth with no symptoms. I also began to question whether a previous crown my husband received was truly necessary. At that point, we realized we no longer had trust in this office. I rarely leave reviews, but after so many billing issues, questionable treatment recommendations, and unannounced provider changes, I feel compelled to share our experience. Consider this review our closure to a very disappointing year with this office. P.S. Some of the short 5-star reviews may be influenced by staff asking patients to scan a QR code and leave a review on the spot.

Fantastic experience: When we first moved to the area, I tried two other dentist offices. One was "nice", but it seemed like the "recommendations" from my visits always led to additional care and costs which I couldn't tell were really necessary or not. The other I tried during COVID times and the cleanliness did not feel up to par. I finally discovered Redmond Dental and was so grateful to find a dentist practice where I felt like I could truly trust their care, recommendations, and facility conditions! They even helped provide good dental care for my in-laws who had very specific dental needs. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Jennifer Tung. She is so warm, thorough, and full of integrity. I also really appreciate the friendly hygienists and the office staff, including how they can provide balanced support for insurance claims when this isn't always the case for other practices. If you're looking for a trustworthy, clean and up-to-date, and enjoyable experience, you're in good hands at Redmond Dental!

Fantastic experience: Izzy and Dr Sengupta are wonderful! They are professional, warm hearted, communicative, and compassionate. You can tell they care about your overall wellbeing as much as you do every time you receive the treatment from them. I feel the strong support from them while going through my oral health care.

Positive experience: For all new patients, please be aware that the business opens at 8 am, but if you’re scheduled at 7:30am, then be there exactly at 7:30 am. Do not come in early, there’ll be no one in the office!

Negative experience: Firstly, let me just say: The staff here are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and easy to talk to. One of the best experiences I've had interacting with people. The reason I'm giving a 1-star review is because they operate a BAD business practice of not telling you what the cost of the services are BEFORE they perform any work on you. I was charged $515 for some X-rays and a cleaning, which would have been nice to know in advance. They also didn't even care to tell me that my insurance was out-of-network, therefore increasing the amount I have to pay out of pocket.

Fantastic experience: After some unfortunate experiences in trying to find a dentist in the Seattle area, today I worked with Dr. Chris. I really appreciated the approach. From start to finish, my wishes were respected as far as not wanting to be pushed towards referrals for costly and time consuming treatments that, after previous consideration, I have decided are not for me at this time. Dr. Chris provided an honest assessment, and is helping with the most important thing for me right now - maintaining great dental health while knowingly not optimizing for ideal aesthetics and such. I would highly recommend for others with complex situations who want a dentist who listens and works with them.

Negative experience: DO NOT COME !!!! I came to Redmond dental to fill some cavities for 2 teeth. X ray shows that one tooth has deeper cavity while the other one has less. Dr. Yanka Chalakova filled the one with deeper cavity and it went well, while Dr. Jennifer Tung filled the mild cavity but it turned out touching the nerve and my tooth got sensitive. I ended up going with root canal on that tooth and it cost my time, money and irreversible damage to my tooth. I don't know why this horrible dental place recently got so many new reviews and almost all of them were 5-star. I would suggest the doctor to really focus on integrity and skills rather than marketing.
