Fantastic experience: I had a great experience. They were very welcoming. The procedure was efficient and well done. They showed care throughout the procedure. Also, the tech really put a lot of effort on my temp crown. So much so that the dentist I saw for my root canal complimented it. Great place to go for dental work.

From virtual check-in to cutting edge technology to view your teeth, to the balloons I can take home for my kids, they have such a great process and rhythm. I bought my whole extended family with me to Cooley because of their care team. 10/10 I would recommend.

Positive experience: Really like the care from Dr Barry she is 5 stars. I am not a fan of the Cooley Smiles thing it's a 0 star experience. It's like a corporation is trying to take over. I had to fill out 10 forms for crown care and Delta Dental left 1700 plus for me to pay. Someone is over charging or Delta Dental is under paying. May have to shop for new dentist.

This time I has a crown break- definitely not the call you want to make or what you want to happen the night before leaving town… BUT my dentists are the very best- they were able to get me in at their Kirkland office, which I hadn’t been to yet - one of their 5? I think practices- now I’ve been to every one and again- TOP OF THE LINE- (and even at the age of 57- my nerves still get the best of me) until I get there…. So calming, so warm, so professional.. truly just so kind… I saw Dr. Lakshmi this time, and I have to say- she is truly amazing- on top of her true dental artistry & professionalism- she’s just a really sweet, kind human❣️ I really could go on and on as her assistant was top notch too! Seriously, from the minute I walked through the door - the girls at the front desk and the back offices ALL made me feel so welcome & comfortable- Kindness all the way around! Thank you again! Negative experience: Both my husband and I went to Berry Dental since several years ago. Both of us has done crown, filling, deep and regular cleaning here. But we decided not to go there any more based on our experiences this year. I went to visit a provider here in June, just hoping to do a teeth cleaning. Then she did an examination before allowing me to do any teeth cleaning. The provider recommended me to do fillings for 2 teeth and "Preventive Resin Restorations" (PRR) for 4 teeth, all for my back teeth. She didn't even explained what is PRR, and I thought it was just like fillings for cavity, but PRR is totally optional. I trusted them, since I have been there for several years, and the previous treatments looked reasonable. Then I went there several times (all happened in around a week) for the fillings and PRRs. The dentist talks about their personal life a lot during the surgeries, and I feel just like meat on the board. Apparently doing too many fillings and PRRs affected my biting and ability to cut food. My teeth shift since then, and cutting food has been continuously a problem for me. I ended up go back to their office twice for bite adjusting, plus another visitor with another dentist (the other dentist even mention PRR is not really needed). I did the surgery in June with a pretty good insurance plan. I paid quite a lot myself on the surgery days, but I still get statements even now, because the insurance company rejected the fee for PRR. I replied to the email for the statement, asking which teeth that I'm paying for, because this is not the first statement I got after the surgeries. The person just asked for my account info and ghosted. After merging with Cooly Smiles, they also changed the policy that if you don't do teeth cleaning every quarter, you are required to do a teeth evaluation before been allowed to do a teeth cleaning. But most insurance only covers 2 teeth cleaning, so just prepare for this.

She’s made time to accommodate emergency dental procedures and consultations, referred me to amazing surgeons always has a top notch dental staff in her office! On my most recent visit, Linda was my hygienist for my cleaning and she was amazing so fun and knowledgeable. I go out of my way to still support my dentist. It’s not in my own neighborhood, but I certainly can’t imagine going anywhere else. So many services can be done in office as well, which is convenient and they have what I would consider high-end equipment for x-rays and other procedures. Thank you all, I appreciate you!

Fantastic experience: Barry Dental is in an altogether different league from every other dentist I have ever been to - you have to experience their high level of care, expertise and efficiency to appreciate just how exceptional they are, if you can even get them to accept you as a new patient (we waited 6 months for our first appointment). My whole family has used them for everything from cleaning, through fillings and crowns, to teeth whitening, and always had great results. Everyone there, from the receptionists to the hygienists, dental assistants and dentists, are excellent at what they do, and all their equipment and techniques are the latest and most advanced I have encountered. I went in for a cleaning and a check up, we developed a treatment plan and the work has been excellent. They're efficient so when I make an appointment I don't spend a lot of time waiting to be seen.

Fantastic experience: Great staff, skilled with modern equipment and clean. I've had Invisalign done here and the process was never rushed. Joanna(?) always made the process comfortable as possible on all the visits. Miho is great and my favorite person here. She's knowledgeable, efficient, clean and fun to talk with. Dr.Barry does great work and makes sure you're comfortable during any and all procedures. An endodontist I visited was super impressed with Dr.Barry's work when I had to go in for a root canal. Bonus because I never wait more than a few minutes at the lobby and they remind you about upcoming appointments.

Fantastic experience: I went to Dr Barry for a problem tooth that 3 dentists had already (unsuccessfully) treated. And I am so glad I did. Dr Barry and her staff are so welcoming and knowledgeable. Dr Barry is extremely friendly, intelligent and really, really thorough. She answered all of my queries and did an outstanding job on my tooth. She did not try to push any unnecessary procedures on me and made sure I was in ok with the treatment plan. It was tedious process (having already been treated thrice) but I am extremely happy with the service. After 11 months of pain, my teeth are finally pain free!

Fantastic experience: Mar 2024: Patient since 2012. Back at Barry Dental Center (BDC) for a new crown after breaking a tooth, which had a filling in it. It might have been the ice chewing that did it. Dr Barry was able to work me in very quickly. The temporary crown was wonderfully fitted and securely placed. No pain or sensitivity. The new crown was clean and prepped by Joanna who did an extraordinary job. I am quite used to dental procedures (former Navy Officer) and life’s challenges. I am very at ease with what needs to be done. Regardless, Joanna took the time to explain everything she was going to do and “why.” That extra touch of “why” makes the difference between good and great. Joanna’s prep work was so accurate, Dr Barry only needed a few minutes to verify the crown seat and perform the setting of the crown. A great technician and doctor working together. The effective communication and synergy of the team sets the BDC apart from other dental offices. I happily continue to promote Dr Barry and her team!!! 2020: I had my 6 month exam today. I enjoy the attention to detail the team provides, the excellent services, and the friendly professional conversation that puts you at ease. They are great with Covid and safety protocols. I have been a patient for about 10 years, and will be as long as possible.

Everyone takes pride in their work, and genuinely care about me. Best cleaning ever from Miho! No chips or gunk left between my teeth and no uncomfortable pokes along the way. Unfortunately, two of my teeth needed attention. Fortunately, Dr. Hakeem really cares about her patients. She presented options I had with transparent benefits/risks of each, and what to expect with the experience of each path. I went with her recommendation, and the procedure went well with no surprises. I have a normal smile and perfect bite that I don’t even think about anymore. Thanks, Dr Hakeem! This entire practice is clean, courteous, and professional. High recommend.

Fantastic experience: Barry dental is hands down the absolute best dental facility I’ve ever been to! They are very clean, very sweet and will make sure you have a perfect smile by the time you leave. I wasn’t sure if I would stay living in this area, but because of how amazing this place is, I don’t think I would want to move and go to any other dental office. Even if I did move, I would travel here just to have my appointments. They make my visit so comfortable and I look forward to my appointments every time they come up. 11/10 would HIGHLY recommend, you will never want to go anywhere else once you get a touch of their magic!

Negative experience: Update 4/2023: Unfortunately I had a very poor experience at Barry Dental in December 2022 with their new periodontist, Gretchen Stern. She was very rude. I came in to see if it was possible to have a gum graft done at one of my implants - I thought this would be a quick appointment as I had a similar appointment with Dr. Suzuki (previous periodontist) in the past when Dr. Barry was concerned about my gums receding by my implant. Dr. Stern said she needed to do a full evaluation. I was very put off as I thought this would be a quick appointment with a simple yes or no answer to my question. Instead it felt like she was just trying to get money out of me and giving advice that was opposite what was recommended by Dr. Suzuki in the past. It felt like she had not read my records. She had me sign an estimate at the END of the appointment for her suggested work but then I got the bill and I guess I was signing an estimate for the eval I just received, which turned out to be $190! I would have walked out at the beginning of the appointment if that was presented to me at that time. I've been going to Barry Dental for a long time and had a raving review 6 years ago (below). I have now cancelled my next cleaning and will be looking for a new dentist. 6 years ago: I went through a lot of dental places before I found Barry Dental Center. I love my dental hygienist, Erin - she does a great job on my teeth and is not mean but is honest about the health of my teeth and what I need to do - I am never nervous to go to my appt. My experience with Dr Barry and Dr Hung have been good as well. l had to have 3 gum grafts done and Dr. Suzuki did all of them. I had a previous gum graft done when I was younger and it did not go well so I was nervous when Suzuki told me I had to have 3 more done, but he put my nerves at ease and each procedure went really well - he would even call in the evening after the procedure to check in. My gums look great and everything healed perfectly :) Would highly recommend Barry Dental Center for all your dental needs!

I have a rare disease and she is so knowledgeable and accommodating on how my rare disease affects my dental needs. On my last visit, I asked Dr. Barry for a donation of children's tooth brushes and toothpaste for the free pantry in front of Mary's Place (family shelter in Kenmore), and she didn't have enough so she ordered some.
