Fantastic experience: Dr. Lee has been wonderfully caring for both of our children since 2019. Even after moving away from Redmond, we happily make the trip because he is truly the most trusted and reliable dentist for our family. The entire team provides outstanding care and performance every single visit, and we wholeheartedly recommend Eastside Kids Dentistry to everyone!

Fantastic experience: Our family recently moved and we needed a new dentist for our 4 and 8 year old. We were greeted with a smile and both kids left happy! Dr. Lee explained my child’s x-ray and answered all my questions. The practice is bright and welcoming. I am thankful we found this practice.

Fantastic experience: We’ve been seeing Dr Lee for 9 years now and won’t go anywhere else! My three kids don’t have any fear of the dentist because of him. He uses a laser to fill cavities, so no numbing shots needed and no pain! Wish my dentist would adopt this method :) beyond that, Dr Lee and his staff have taken their time with my kids, been super helpful, understanding and supportive. My daughter had a severe lip tie and he took care of it easily and it healed perfectly :) we’ve been very happy with our care here and highly recommend!

Negative experience: My kid come here for many years. Normally it was the Dad bringing the kid to the dentist. I haven't been there for couple years!! I remember Dr. Lee was thorough, friendly, caring and into educating the kids on oral health. But I don't see the same dentist anymore. Things changed. There might be a need of re-igniting the passion. We were the first appointment of the day and were military on time (15 minute early). So I don't see the reason why there was a rush. My son had an x-ray. I didn't see Dr. Lee looked at it at all. My son received regular cleaning before Dr. Lee did the regular check up. I was a little shocked to see Dr. Lee found many big pieces of food from last night's dinner. Indicating that cleaning was not really clean at all. I was hoping Dr. Lee would ask my son how he did his flossing as I was having a hard time to tell him he did it wrong. He tends to listen to the Doctor better. But Dr. Lee didn't ask or show him. He just said "you need to do a better job in flossing". He didn't ask if he actually knows how to floss nor question why there was still food if he flossed. My son has jaw clicking when opening his mouth. Dr. Lee asked me to go buy a sport mouth guard. Not much following up questions nor examinations to find out what caused it. Though, I volunteered some info such as: he has allergies and I was wondering if anything drip down during sleeping so that trigger grinding teeth and making his jaw in pain. Dr. Lee said they are not related and asked me to take care of his allergy issues. If he is in pain, give him Ibuprofen. It doesn't feel that, at such young age, my son's issues concern Dr. Lee. I understand that with many more clients, there might be no time to do any side chit chatting but we had real questions and concerns. Despite of the above, the facility is still very nice and clean.

Fantastic experience: Had an evaluation for my child for a tongue tie and Dr. Lee determined she didn't need the procedure. Explained everything, had top of the line equipment, great staff and office. This is why it's worth coming to the expert! I would recommend to anyone.

My son needed two teeth extracted as soon as possible due to an impacted canine, and I was so grateful that the office had a cancellation and was able to get us in the very next day. My son was extremely nervous about having his teeth pulled, but the entire team was amazing. The office staff and Dr. Michael Lee were incredibly friendly, reassuring, and positive, helping him feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. Fantastic experience: I’ve been bringing my kids to this dentist’s office for years, and every visit just reminds me why we keep coming back. The whole team is incredibly friendly, efficient, and always makes the entire experience smooth and stress‑free. Dr. Lee was especially amazing — so attentive, patient, and thorough. Fantastic experience: We really like Dr Lee. He truly cares about the kids and does what’s best for them. He has two boys of his own, and I feel that he truly can empathize with little kids. Dr Lee tells the kids what they should and should not eat in order to prevent cavities. He also has posters in the dentist office, suggesting the right foods to eat and the wrong foods for cavities. I rarely see such preventive advice in medical offices since it’s bad for business but I truly like how Dr Lee cares that the kids do the right thing. I have also seen him Cancel a minor cavity if the kids take good care and come back with better hygiene at the next cleaning. He has also texted me back on a weekend out of concern for my kid when I sent a text message that my Kids job was hurting due to a new tooth coming up. I am so impressed with Dr Lee and I highly recommend Dr Lee for kids.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Lee and the dental hygienists were so good with my oldest kiddo. His autism can make it a challenge to have people so close to him. He’s had trouble with hygienists in the past — but never at Dr. Lee’s office. Their no-nonsense approach with him and lack of any shaming — even with a cavity this time (age 14 now) — makes him comfortable enough to get through the entire appointment! I can’t say enough good about Eastside Kids Dentistry.

Once I had a concern and he texted me back right away on a weekend. Asked me to send a picture of the extraction site and assured me that everything was normal. Now that’s service! Fantastic experience: I have been bringing my twins to Eastside Kids Dentistry since they were 2. They are now 9. We drive all the way from Sultan to the office in Redmond because of the excellent care we receive; cleanings and exams are very thorough. The staff is always very friendly. My twins look forward to visiting every 6 months.

Negative experience: So disappointed in the experience my two teens had recently. They were both told they had cavities and a laser technique which was painless would be used. Then they were told they had to do a regular filling and both kids told me it was the most painful filling they've ever had. My daughter raised her hand to tell him to stop and he would not and she said even his assistant was concerned but Dr Michael ignored my daughter. Months later both kids said their teeth hurt and are extremely sensitive to cold and hot. He was good with them when they were young and he was new. Now I would warn parents to stay away if you don't want to traumatize your kids.

Fantastic experience: 2021: My 9 year old son was afraid of the dentist. His old dentist was not a pediatric dentist so the tools and x-ray stuff were big for his mouth. Now we've gone to Eastside Kids Dentistry twice and my son is asking if he can go back again. Everyone is kind and patient and explain everything they are going to do before they do it. Highly recommend! I'm so grateful that my son is no longer afraid of the dentist. 2024: My son is now 12 and loves going to the dentist. He's had to have a baby tooth pulled and a tongue clip and everything went great! Everyone is so nice and attentive and reassuring. My son and I both have anxiety and everyone in the office puts us at ease with such a calm environment.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Lee is so kind and thorough. His office communicates well, AND they can see all 3 of my kids at the same time. It is always such a welcome and efficient experience. Plus he has a few types of in-office anesthesia options available for procedures, so it's very convenient for kids who struggle more with dental procedures.

Fantastic experience: Our daughter had a wonderful experience at Eastside Kids Dentistry. We went in to get her lip tie released when she was about two years old. We were nervous about the procedure, but Dr. Lee put us at ease, and he was done in less than two minutes! He taught us stretches to do at home to help with recovery. He also followed up with us a few days later to see how our daughter was doing and to make sure everything was healing correctly. We’ve recommended him to our other friend whose child has oral restrictions.

Fantastic experience: Dr Lee is a wonderful pediatric dentist. He is incredibly kind and compassionate. We had an urgent issue and he was able to get us in the next day. He was very patient with our 4 year old who was very nervous to have treatment completed as you can imagine. I would highly recommend Dr Lee and his team!

Negative experience: They billed insurance for services not provided, excessive ego prevented Dr Lee from admitting the mistake even after other dentists bore witness to his errors (no treatment on teeth billed for). His extremely rushed services lead to mistakes happening in the first place. Current insurance investigation taking place. Dr responded inappropriately to these concerns.

Negative experience: As an experienced google guide(level 7) I try to be very data oriented from my experience while posting reviews for any establishment and specifically when the review is negative. I hope this review helps other parents make an informed decision for their kids dental care. I recently visited eastside kids dentistry for my four-year-old daughter for cavity fillings on her right side. This was our third visit but first one outside of annual check ups. The checkin and greet process was great as usual. Showed up on time. No waiting. But unfortunately, our experience turned out to be worst Upon arrival, they administered laughing gas to my daughter, which is usually intended to soothe children. However, things took a turn for the worse when Dr. Lee started the process. He inserted a mouth prop, which caused her to panic. Dr. Lee talked her that its a jelly fish and all but it didn’t help and instead of addressing her anxiety, he proceeded with the cavity fillings hastily. During the procedure, I found myself holding my daughter's hands while an attendant assisted in restraining her, and Dr Lee holding seemed impatient to a point where everyone in the room wore protective glasses but my daughter threw the glasses and the laughing gas tube away but the process continued. This was a fundamental oversight in a pediatric dentistry. It was a not a comfortable sight to witness, and I feel that their approach was far from kid-friendly. In retrospect, I feel that Shouldn’t have happened. After the procedure, I had several questions including post-treatment care and my daughter's reaction to the laughing gas. Dr Lee answered 1-2 and then excused himself in between, leaving me without answers or reassurance. I believe that a pediatric dentistry should prioritize creating a comfortable and reassuring environment for young patients. In this case, I felt that the rush and lack of empathy overshadowed the quality of care.

If you are looking for a pediatric dentist I would recommend this office. My little girl came in nervous about getting a filling and left smiling with two thumbs up. Fantastic experience: I wish when I was kid, I had a dentist like Dr. Lee. He knows how to deal with kids as well as their parents. Never had to wait more than 5 mins for our turn. Visits are usually done within 30 minutes, provided there are no issues with kids teeth. Kids never complain about going to dentists!

Positive experience: We really like Dr Lee and the front desk staff. While the hygienists are good with what they do and cordial with my children, they don’t engage or introduce themselves to my kids. They need to remember that kids are kids and love to be approached in a bright friendly manner. They liked to be complimented, noticed, etc.

Fantastic experience: This dentistry is great! My son has been afraid of any dental treatments for several years. This is the only dentistry that he can complete teeth cleaning. The staff here are so nice and patient, and very skilled to communicate with kids!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Lee is very caring and dedicated to his patients. My son was down with infection and pain on a Friday late evening. I dropped an email with no hopes to receive a quick response. I was surprised. Dr. Lee himself replied almost immediately. Called us and told us what to do, called the pharmacy and ordered perception. Called us back to tell when we should go pick it up. My son recovered well. I am very glad that Dr. Lee is my son's dentist.

Fantastic experience: We have an amazing experience at Eastside Kids Dentistry every visit. For our first visit, Dr Lee talked us through everything he was doing and showed us what he was going to do before he did. All the staff are very friendly, know how to handle kids and reassure them when they are anxious. I was also pleasantly surprised when Dr Lee called a few hours after my daughter’s procedure to check on her and make sure she was not in pain. Our visit during covid was great as well and the level of hygiene was even better than usual (which is impeccable to begin with). I would highly recommend Eastside Kids Dentistry to anyone I know.

Negative experience: No star, Doctor don’t visit This is about an 4 year i am visiting the doctor but this time i went and it seems to me doctor don’t have time to discuss with the parent. He just came in flash, did some fluoride and just ran while i was discussing about my daughter and child. If doctor don’t have time for patient then, Why he taking so many appointment! Very much upset with todays visit.

Fantastic experience: I took my 2 year old daughter here for her very first appointment today and could not have been more pleased with how well it all went. Dr. Lee and his staff were completely professional and warm and super patient with my young child. They took an experience that I had anxiety over as a parent and TOTALLY flipped it into a pleasant experience. The monitors mounted to the ceilings so that kids can watch their favorite shows is a nice touch! We will definitely be going here for all future kiddo appointments! Highly recommend! I will tell all my friends with small kids to go see Dr. Lee!!

Fantastic experience: We went to see Dr.Lee for my 5 yr old's cavity in one of the molars and extraction of 4 milk teeth. Our visit was very comfortable, my kid was happy, Sasha took a lot of care to make sure my kid was at ease. Dr.Lee was very kind and patient. He took the time to explain what was going on, the different options for treatment and gave us enough time and space to make our decision.. the staff in general was very warm and I really loved my interaction with everyone. Something else I really like is that there is plenty of natural light and windows in their rooms.

Fantastic experience: Our baby girls have been going to see Dr. Lee and the assistants and staff at Eastside Dentistry for over 4 years. My 6 year old looks forward to going there - and not just because they have thought through what kids love (movies while getting a cleaning, games and play areas while waiting), but because the bedside manners are extraordinary. This team makes everyone feel like family and they provide the greatest care to their patients minus all the anxiety and fear. We highly recommend them. We always leave with a SMILE!

Fantastic experience: They were so great with my little one. My 5 year old was in discomfort and I requested an appointment at like 3am. They called me as soon as they opened and got him in right away to help him. I am extremely grateful the doctor squeezed him in on his day off and was able to help my son. Thank you!
