Fantastic experience: I have to say my experience from front desk to treatment and after care was top tier!!!! Absolutely took care of my concerns and treatment was painless!!!! This will be where I return as I need dental care !!!

Fantastic experience: I recently had a root canal at Ideal Dental, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! Every single person on their team from the receptionist and insurance coordinator to the dental assistants, general dentists, and endodontists (special thanks to Dr. Feldman and Dr. Salem and KC) is exceptionally professional and kind. Going through a root canal can be nerve-wracking, but they made me feel completely comfortable and talked me through every step of the process. I also love that they are a true one-stop shop that handles everything under one roof. They have an amazing team, and I will definitely keep coming back and recommending them to everyone I know!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience from scheduling and check in from Elizabeth, being seen as a new patient for tooth pain and not being open my jaw Dr. Salem examined me and out to be wisdom tooth related. They way able to schedule me for the very next day. KC was great giving me reassurance as I get anxious and prepped. Once it was go time and I was all numb Dr Salem literally removed both left side wisdom teeth in literally two seconds. And I didn’t feel a THING !!!!!! I will definitely be back so she can take care of the right side. Check out was great also with help of Monet. She even scheduled a tooth cleaning for later on in the month. Really lovely team here and thankful for the care they provided

I needed an emergency dental visit and no one else had openings. Came in and was seen very quickly and treated as if I was a regular even though it was my first time. Although it’s not the closest to my home I will be going back.

Fantastic experience: Dr Salem is by far the best dentist I have ever been to she is incredibly caring, none judgemental and knowledgeable. She is so good at what she does even getting numbing shots barely hurt. I make the drive to Kannapolis from Mooresville just for them because Doc and KC are so amazing at what they do. They truly care about the patient and go above and beyond to figure out how they can help not only with your teeth but also try keeping out of pocket cost down. If in need of dental work this is the team. Also front desk staff was very helpful and friendly and the office is always clean and comfortable.

Negative experience: I would not recommend Ideal Dental. My experience has been extremely disappointing, and it felt like the focus was more on making money than providing quality patient care. I had several fillings done back in March, and now approaching July, I am still dealing with tooth sensitivity and pain—something I have never experienced after fillings at previous dental offices. When I brought my concerns up, I had to return multiple times before I felt like I was actually being heard. The dentist eventually said it could be from teeth grinding and that one of the fillings was too high. Even after adjustments were made, I am still experiencing discomfort and sensitivity. My husband has had a similar experience as well. Overall, I do not feel this office provided the level of professionalism, care, or attention I expected from a dental provider. I would encourage others to do their research before choosing this office.

Negative experience: I will never go back again. Ever since they did a filling on one of my teeth, it has been sensitive. Every time I go to this office, there is a completely different staff, which makes the experience feel inconsistent. It seems like they care more about making money than taking care of their patients. During my most recent visit for a teeth cleaning, the hygienist decided not to floss my teeth because she said they were sensitive. Instead, she told me to floss them myself when I got home. I was disappointed because I expected a complete cleaning during my appointment. Overall, I was not satisfied with the quality of care I received, and I will not be returning.

Fantastic experience: Everything happened so smoothly, all employees that I met were sweethearts! I definitely felt calm in this environment.

Negative experience: Everything was fine until my husband received a bill. I called the office to find out why he “owe” money and I was told that the clinic was in network with our insurance but the doctor was not. They may seem very nice but this place it’s a total scam.

Negative experience: I decided to try this place because it was new, and during my first visit the experience was pretty good overall. The dentists were a little rough when flossing, but aside from that I was happy with the service. Unfortunately, my next appointment for a cleaning was very disappointing. I arrived, checked in, and waited for an hour without ever being called back. I had other things I needed to get done, so it ended up being a complete waste of time and I eventually left. What makes it more frustrating is that this appointment had been scheduled in advance during my previous visit, so I expected them to respect the scheduled time. Waiting that long without any update or follow-through was very disappointing. Because of this experience, I’ll be going somewhere else for future dental care.

Negative experience: Saturday emergency #5 extraction 3 weeks ago. Just left my regular dentist: piece of #5 Root still there and cut root of #4 by accident. I now have to get a root canal. Also, Infection, cut open, cleaned, stitched. Nice people though.

Positive experience: Today I had a consultation for Invisalign. My appointment was at 8:30 AM, but I wasn’t called until 9 o’clock. I was told that the front desk did not check me in even though that was the first place I stopped by to submit my new insurance before sitting down. Then I didn’t get looked at until 9:30 AM and the conversation was about 10 minutes and I left. So I would say today was very unorganized because Of the lack of time management and every time I visit that office, there is always new staff, so I’m pretty sure that speaks for itself

Negative experience: Every time I visit Ideal Dental Orthodontics, there is always an issue with scheduling. Either my appointment was never actually scheduled, or it somehow ends up being booked for two different times. It also took them almost three months to install my bottom row of braces, even though I have been consistently paying my monthly payments for both rows. My most recent visit was extremely disappointing. I went in specifically to get my bottom row installed. I sat in the chair for two hours, only for the work to be done poorly by one of the dental assistants. She had to start over in the middle of the process, and when she restarted, she forgot to remove a lot of glue from my teeth, dropped brackets in my mouth, and placed several brackets unevenly. By the end, she was rushing so much that she forgot my power chain and also forgot to reapply a bracket that kept popping off during the session. Overall, this experience has been frustrating and unprofessional. I truly wish I had done more research before choosing Ideal Dental Orthodontics as my provider.

Fantastic experience: As dental work goes, this was a great experience. Dr. Kayleigh was wonderful. Very professional, caring, and compassionate. Very mindful of what was in my best interest. Made every effort to make the treatment not unpleasant. Minimal discomfort during and after the procedure. The rest of the staff was also terrific. Kind, welcoming, diligent, and considerate. Again, very understanding and thoughtful to my particular issue. This is my new dentist!

Negative experience: Got fillings here have been in constant pain since. I tried to express this to the dentist there, but his only explanation was that he didn’t know why I was in pain and that the X-Rays look great. Making me feel crazy like I was making it up. I went back and was invalidated again. Going to another dentist tomorrow, who believes it sounds like nerve damage. Although my teeth feel like they’re in shambles, the front desk staff and assistants were wonderful and extremely helpful!

Fantastic experience: First I would like to start out as I have had a family member do my dental work all my life. I am 60 something years old and first time visiting any other dentist. They made me feel at home, comfortable, very welcomed and at ease. Dr Armstrong is very assuring when it comes to me being nervous. Or easing the pain of any dental work I've had done. This is very important for people that have issues with dentist or post-traumatic stress etc. Ty the assistant has been extremely patient and helpful. All in all 100% happy. Everyone is always pleasant. Very clean facility. Answered any questions I may have had. Excellent place

Fantastic experience: Love them they took care of me like they’ve had me as a patient for years and it was only my first time there

Negative experience: Everyone was super friendly, on time, and the dentist took his time explaining everything. They scheduled me and my children to be seen at the same time. But in hindsight there were a few issues that I was uncomfortable with (and I've taken my time to give this review, so I could process what happened and word it appropriately)... 1. There was no dental assistant, so the dentist had me hold the water/suction tube. This was awkward, and I felt like I was doing their job. 2. The office manager hovered over the exam room interjecting comments, etc. Didn't she have something else to do? 3. The dentists seemed over-eager to "offer" more treatments on the spot than we came in for. It felt like we were on the used car lot, or like there was lots of up-selling going on. 4. The night guard that was made for me did not fit my teeth and was extremely uncomfortable. The dentist said it was impossible, and that my teeth could have shifted in the time it took to make it. The night guard was expensive and completely useless to me. 5. After one visit, the office failed to tell me that they no longer had a contract with my insurance company. 6. They sent me a prospective bill for future treatment plans totally over $14,000, and I did not understand what it was for or why they sent it to me. 7. The dentist wanted to remove my mercury filling on the spot. I happen to know that while they have the training, it takes a special kind of dentist (a biological/holistic dentist) and there are special protocols they take to protect the patient's health when the mercury is coming out. It is not really for any old dentist to do. Honestly, all-in-all, it felt like a fast-food chain dentist experience. I didn't feel like patient care was top priority, but that selling more treatments was. We're going to avoid chain dentistry and go back to private practice dentistry.

Fantastic experience: Had no clue what to expect for the first time in a while now so I had to go to the same level of explaining the other circumstances that is uncomfortable with the same way that Dr Armstrong made it very certainly professional and the same tone as he was already discussing the situation with the other employee that I am not sure what to do with the light being a tbi patient with spinal cord issues and photo sensitivity and delaying the same way that my brain is getting stronger than expected because of course I don't know how many times I have been in the same way that other's thinking about the honest part of course my teeth are not in the same way as I know people who have said this to the same person who knows better than the same way that I do care differently for my own body of the same way that prevents the same way that I don't want to discuss it with more than necessary for the same way that I need to carefully myself in fact that is in the same way sensitive as well because of the history of course of time back and forth with the things that have been removed from my own life and that's not easy to be prepared for such things that I used to have on hand in their own effort did research prior and that's great it shows initiative and that they care Abt their patients in fact is something else recommended for the same person who is not aware that I am willing to help them out too and then go home yet because of course I doubt I'd find the necessary things and I did find indeed and the same way that I don't have any money for the process of course they have great options too. Thanks for superior service today!

Fantastic experience: Was my first trip to the office. Havent been to the dentist in 10 plus years. I knew my teeth were in bad shape and just needed to do whatever needs to be done. Receptionist was nice and pretty. Doctor and assistant did a good job explaining procedures and options I could take. I have to go back in a few weeks to finish procedures but was pleased with the visit. Confident that this journey will go well.

Fantastic experience: 9/10 . Beautifully timed service... Got there 30 minutes early to my appointment & thank goodness I did because I only had cash; but the secretary explained to me exactly how to get a money order, (but then my Fianceé took care of it ) but the sentiment remains that it was really sweet that they were compassionate enough to explain that process to me. ☺️ They then let me go back outside and eat my last solid meal for the day Also gave me a squishy to hold during the numbing shots. So, I was in and out for a singular tooth extraction within 30 minutes. Wonderful service. It was even comfortably warm in the practice.. because Drs offices are usually freezing cold ... Still wish they took cash, but that was the only downside. *maybe there was a spot on one of the consent forms that said No Cash Payments & I just missed it, but if not, I think it would be a good idea to include that . But yes, 10/10 gonna get my other extractions done here!

Negative experience: I unfortunately did not have a good experience here. The receptionist was nice, but I had to fill out the intake forms in their lobby using my phone which I thought was odd. My hygienist didn't have great personal skills. When I asked how she was doing she replied with, "oh alright I suppose" and it was a bit surprising and off-putting as a first impression. When I went to get my x-rays she initially forgot to put the lead apron on me, but fortunately caught her mistake before doing any imaging. That was concerning. Then they took more pictures, and more x-rays and when I asked if I was going to be receiving a cleaning (which was my purpose for going) she told me she wasn't sure. Long story short I did not get a cleaning. They only did imaging, and wanted to refer me to a periodontist for non-serious slight gum recession that I've had for over 20 years. It felt really disjointed in there, and the whole vibe of everything felt off the whole time. I have a feeling they get reimbursed well for imaging from insurance, but likely make nothing from cleanings, and that is why things happened the way they did. It was overall a very poor experience, certainly the worst dental experience I have ever had, and I won't be returning, nor would I ever recommend anyone go here.

The doctors are calm and kind, and I particularly want to highlight Viviana, who explains the treatment plan. She is incredibly patient, friendly, and charismatic. She is happy to answer any questions you may have, offers payment options, and helps you navigate the entire process. My experience at ideal dental Kannapolis has been exceptional, and I would highly recommend their services.

Fantastic experience: This office goes out of their way to make sure I am comfortable during all dental procedures. I have never been to an office that actually really cares of how tense you can become during dental procedures. These guys are terrific. I will continue to keep coming here. They actually deserve all tens instead of all fives. They are patient, they have great appointments. Everybody is very accommodating and very gentle and very sweet.

As someone who is terrified of the dentist, they were very kind, listened and helped me stay calm throughout my first fillings and cleaning in a very long time. They talked me through a lot and were professional! It also didn’t break the bank, which was great. Fantastic experience: I was having pain in a tooth that was infected. The staff throughout the office were friendly, helpful, and really made me feel comfortable. I am not one who has ever done well with dentists, but they really were great. I will continue using Ideal Dental.

Fantastic experience: What an absolutely amazing experience I had at Ideal Dental!!! I was very fortunate to have found them open on a Saturday and get an appointment for Monday to address a broken molar. The entire staff is wonderful; personable, knowledgeable, and efficient. The facility is immaculate, modern, and welcoming, and utilizes current technology which I highly commend. The examination was thorough and the treatment options were explicitly explained. I also loved that the out-of-pocket costs not covered by my insurance were explained in great detail and was given the option to schedule the fillings, which weren’t urgently necessary, for a future date. Lindsey and Dr. Armstrong are FABULOUS!!!! I feel SO blessed to have found them and plan to make Ideal Dental my primary provider. THANK YOU, IDEAL DENTAL, FOR AN OUTSTANDING JOB!!!!
