Positive experience: Been coming here for a few years and the clinical staff is great. They’re thorough, personable, and take their time to answer questions. However, the administrative side has always seemed a bit disorganized depending on who you speak to. I called yesterday to reschedule an upcoming appointment and the receptionist was having difficulty finding a new time, so she said she was going to call me back. I still haven’t heard anything and will need to check in on this. In another recent instance, I called to get a prescription for pick up and when my husband went to pick it up a few days later, it couldn’t be found. It ended up being put under the wrong patient name and my husband had to wait for a bit in the office while staff got the dentist to write a new script. Working with the office can certainly be a hassle, but the clinical staff has kept us coming back.

The assistant immediately put me at ease by being considerate and kind as she took the X-rays and did all of the pre-exams. When I met the dentist she was professional kind and assuring. Fantastic experience: The receptionist greeted me and checked me in immediately. I was then directed to the seating area but not before I was offered beverages. Very welcoming atmosphere. Brandon, completed all the necessary x-rays and was very pleasant and knowledgeable during the process. Dr. A. conducted the initial examination and provided her recommendations. Lastly, the hygienist followed up with the game plan for my oral care. Great teamwork!

Positive experience: I chose this office because they advertised emergency tooth extractions, but that wasn't my experience. After a brief exam, the black female doctor decided not to remove my tooth and referred me to an oral surgeon. I declined her referral. Because i understood she was not being completely honest with me & it wasn't necessary. The very next morning, Urgent Dental extracted the tooth without any issues. I was disappointed that the focus shifted to discussing other teeth & a oral surgeon that wasn't needed. instead of addressing the emergency I came in for. Friendly conversation is appreciated, but when I'm in severe pain, I expect the emergency service being advertised.

I feel I should have been told that BEFORE my procedure so I could decide if I wanted to pay out of pocket or investigate further.

Forgive me for any misspellings Alyssa is amazing, sweet, explaining everything she did step by step while taking all the X-rays, Maryna for being so friendly and explaining my treatment plan, Dr.King was nice and her exam was very gentle and thorough, explaining what she saw. Keisha explained all insurance information and unfortunately I didn’t get the names of the other ladies at the front desk, but we had a few laughs before I left.

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of meeting. Dr. King and Dr. Kar. Then along with their assistants made sure that in light of the situation with my mouth I had the best experience. Dr. King even checked on me with my pharmacy issue after hours and it won my whole family over and they are now wanting to receive care from Coddle Creek. I am bringing my children in next. They definitely will be my go to dentist for myself and my family.

Dental assistant Rosalind & Hygienist Marina are wonderful young ladies that are all about getting the job done. Communication is wide open making this the perfect place for any dental work needed.

Negative experience: I have had the worst experience with Coddle Creek's office staff - my dentist was/is wonderful, but the office staff has not returned any of my calls after countless voicemails, calls with no answer, speaking to their patient answering services (being told a office manager will call me back) -- I was told my billing issues were fixed since Coddle Creek billed my insurance wrong and I am now getting countless calls, texts etc. from debt collectors (this is all due to the dental office billing the wrong insurance -- they told me this was fixed and clearly wasn't). I have also called numerous times to retrieve my personal dental records and still nobody has released my records to me. I am highly dissappointed and normally would NEVER leave a review like this, but I have never worked with any medical office who is this dis-organized.

Fantastic experience: First visit, everyone was pleasant and helpful. They explained everything they were going to do step by step so I felt comfortable. That's important to me. They didn't pressure me into doing anything extra. The prices were reasonable. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a dental office.

Fantastic experience: It started out like it was the 1st training day for the Dental Hygienist and I was her 1st patient. (I was in the office over 2 hours) But as her nerves settled down (about a hour later) she proceeded to methodically complete and do a very thorough job with my teeth. I also appreciated her patience with me since I have extremely sensitive gums and require manual cleaning. In summary-she performed flawlessly….Job well done!

Negative experience: I made an appointment to have my teeth cleaned. I received 7 confirmation emails and text regarding my appointment. I attended my appointment and was x-rayed for an hour. Then someone not sure who they were never introduced to me, came in measured my gums and then told me that someone would talk to me about a treatment plan and I could setup an appointment in the future to get my teeth cleaned. Until that moment I had no idea that I was not getting my teeth cleaned. What a massive waste of my time and money.

Negative experience: I am a customer of Coddle Creek Dental Care. I went in for a "flipper tooth" type of Molar Replacement. I spoke with the office staff prior to the procedure being done and was assured that my portion out of pocket would be 50% ($375.61) which I gladly paid. Last month I received a bill for $325.62 for the remainder that insurance didn’t cover, when I was assured by coddle creek dental that insurance would cover 50%. I find it very dishonest that I am now being charged by Coddle Creek Dental Care for a mistake THEY made in coding the procedure incorrectly. They coded it under a denture piece and not the single flipper tooth that I needed. Turns out the item that I needed was not covered at all. This was due to their coding mistake. I have tried calling multiple times leaving messages for their business manager. Every time I speak to the receptionist, she tells me I will get a call back within 24 hours. After 6 attempts of calling and leaving messages, they have never called me back. I really hate to complain about anything, but unfortunately, I’ll have to reach out to the BBB. This is absolutely dishonest of them to not own up to their mistake.

Fantastic experience: Just had my first/ new patient visit. The office is decorated nicely and very well maintained. The staff was exceptionally kind and professional. My wait time was minimal, but they checked in on me, made sure I was comfortable at all times, pointed out the amenities and kept me informed. They explained everything thoroughly and step by step without my having to ask. All of my questions were answered in detail and they discussed options with me to suit my preferences and to come up with a treatment plan I was comfortable with. I look forward to going back to work with them on my Oral health goals.

Fantastic experience: I am not sure what others are having issues with but my experience has been nothing but superb with this group. Everyone is great and professional along with very personable making the appointment less stressful. I had to have multiple teeth removed and not only was there almost no pain when numbing but the pain after the service was very low. They made it perfect for healing and needing very little pain killers. I would recommend wholeheartedly.

Negative experience: Terrible patient care and even worse billing practices.. down right deceptive. We had a crown done, asked for them to do a pre-authorization and they informed us what we owed before the procedure was done. A month later they are saying we owe them more money because insurance won't pay that portion. Isn't that what the pre-authorization was for? Needless to say we plan on bringing these deceptive billing practices to light via social media and Action 9 news. This is downright dishonest and dirty.

Negative experience: I had a negative experience yesterday. The care I received was uncomfortable and not up to previous expectations. The Hygienist was very rough and she had water dripping and splashing all over my face, dress, and arms. She continually let the tool hit my lips while she was polishing my teeth. She refused to hold my lips up when using the tools. My lips are full and instead of her properly holding my lips she just continued to let the tool pierce my lip. Also, she let the suction tool hang from my mouth that constantly let cold air run which made my teeth very sensitive when she was trying to scrape and clean them. I never want her to work on me nor my family again.

Negative experience: Went to get a root canal, the doctor messed up on that procedure and told me she would have to do it over. So pretty much I got charged twice my insurance paid their portion, I was not going to pay twice. I come to get a cleaning and was told until I pay that portion I can’t seen, That’s totally fine I won’t be coming back.

Fantastic experience: I am never one to send in reviews to places but this is hands down the best dental office i’ve ever been too. I have always been terrified of the dentist and everyone at this office makes me feel at home. Recently I had the pleasure of getting my teeth cleaned by Catherine. I have never in my life had a better dental hygienist. She went above and beyond in making sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. If I could give Coddle Creek 10 stars I would in a heartbeat.

Fantastic experience: Very new and clean. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. I am 80 years old and have all my teeth except one and have had many Dentist through the years. Dr. KING is young and knows her stuff. Much better than some of my past Dentist. She knows all the newest dental procedures, and explains what needs to be done to correct a problem. At first I was annoyed because I had filled out all of my paperwork online prior to my visit but somehow it didn’t register and I had to fill it all out again. But no worries… I really appreciated how the staff valued my time about how I needed to get back to work, yet I didn’t feel rushed at all. Negative experience: Do not trust the Coddle Creek Dentist billing & insurance department. I was assured multiple times that a procedure was covered only to be surprised with a large bill from Coddle Creek Dental. Insurance denied the procedure and when I asked for an appeal, the insurance department submitted the additional documents incorrectly. I wasn't notified and I just got off the phone with the insurance company after finding out this information and submitting an appeal myself and asked them to do a manual review. I shouldn't be doing the job of the insurance personnel that works at the dentist office. But, we don't live in Shouldland. On top of that, I was told insurance would cover certain other things, but on more than one occasion, I got a surprise bill from Coddle Creek. As someone on limited income, this creates a hardship every time it happens. Don't believe them when they say something is covered. As much of a hassle as it is and you *shouldn't* have to do it, call your insurance and get pre-authorization for each and every thing that needs to be done or find a different dentist office that won't have you dealing with the insurance company yourself (which is most likely what I'm about to do). When I tried calling today to try and get them to straighten everything out, there was no answer despite it being a Thursday and calling several times throughout the day.

Fantastic experience: I, enjoy coming to Coddle Creek Dental Care. This was my first time visiting at this Dentist Office. This location had plenty parking spaces and very clean on the outside, When I enter the Office I, was greeted by the reception she was nice and courtesy of course you know she asked the basic questions and I gave her all of my information and as you know she told me to have a seat and they will be with me shortly. The inside of the office was clean and neat and she was right, it didn't take them no time to called me back I, was greeted and taken back to the area with a young lady named Desiree, she was very friendly and she had a great smile, she told me that I, would be seeing Ms. Briana and she would be in shortly and she was right . And she walk in and introduce herself , she ask me all the necessary questions and and I applied back to Ms. Briana questions, she gave me a step-by-step on what she was going to do next . She was terrific and so professional and also had a great personality along with a great attitude I ,told her I would recommend to my family and friends to come at this location to get all the dental services.So after Ms. Briana finished she told me that I, would see Dr. King next. Ms. Briana said to me that Dr. King, had to check over her work before I, could leave So she set up my next appointment and also gave me a gift bag with tooth supplies. Then walk in Dr. King she introduce herself to me she was nice and polite and friendly too!! We talk about my teeth and what needs to be done next I, agree with Dr. King. Dr. King, sign off on Ms Briana work and it was check out time so Ms. Desiree came and walk me to the check out desk . I would like to take this time to thank everyone that works at Coddle Creek Dental Care Office. I, appreciate everyone for there great customer service everyone that work here were very respectful and knowledgeable they did a great job taking care of all my dental needs and like I, said before I'm going to recommend my friends and family members to come at Coddle Creek Dental Care. Thank You Had a appointment at Coddle Creek Dental Care on 08-06-2025 my experience at this location in Concord office was wonderful when I, stepped into the door to the time that I ,stepped out of the doors they were very friendly place I, enjoy the young lady that clean my teeth and the doctor that also came behind and inspect and make sure everything was on top so yes I would recommend to my friends and my family members to come on and stop by and give them a try and yes I will give them a five star again thank you Miss Wanda Wilson
