Dental Care of Pewaukee

Fantastic experience: Moved to Dental Care of Pewaukee and love it. My hygienist has been great, super friendly staff and quick!

Negative experience: Spent at least two hours trying to get my tooth numb and couldn't so they could not complete my service. Left in extreme pain (caused by them trying to pull a tooth that wasn't numb) with a referral to a dentist that did not do the type of work they said I needed. They then charged me for work not done. Went to a different dentist and they had no issues, got my tooth numb on the first try and I was in and out in less than an hour.

Fantastic experience: From the first contact with the office, I've been met with a most excellent mix of professionalism and friendliness. Mia and Dr. Raz are the best!!!

Fantastic experience: Very modern office. Friendly staff from the front desk to the dental hygienist to the dentist. Technology allowed me to see on a monitor everything the dentist saw in mouth very clearly. He explained to me what he was seeing, what he planned to do and why. Glad I switched over to them.

Fantastic experience: My 88 year old mother with dementia experienced her first time visit with Dr. Jeff that resulted in exceptional care with a thorough examination done with compassion. Staff assisted with my 89 year old father in the seating area. Dr. Jeff provided a detailed follow-up treatment plan for her next visit. The communication prior to the appointment, during the visit and afterwards was outstanding. What a great staff! I highly recommend Dental Care of Pewaukee for all ages!

Negative experience: This was my first experience with this dental group. Not impressed felt they were pressuring me. My teeth are straight and they wanted me to get braces or Invisalign. Will look for a new dentist.

Fantastic experience: This is a wonderful Dental Practice with highly qualified people working there who help educate & teach preventative maintenance for better care of my teeth

Negative experience: Too pricey . Too many X-rays . Due to high cost of treatment plan have scheduled 2nd opinion. Dentist was very nice . Actual dental rooms not very private , fairly noisy and I heard conversations around me.

Fantastic experience: I have had bad experiences with dentists at other practices and my hygienist Nicole and Dr. Pete listened to my concerns and fears and made me feel heard and understood. I appreciate that both took the time to walk me through different aspects of my treatments and answer any and all questions I had. I have also gone to Dr. Ras a couple of times and she is amazing as well. Overall, this is a great practice and the dentists all work together to make sure the patients get the best care possible.

Negative experience: I lost 4 hours of work to sit there for 2 hours for X-rays and pictures. I never got my teeth cleaned and have to go back. I came there at that time to get everything done.

Fantastic experience: So far, this place been very good. I’m very pleased with the dentist Marjorey E Razdolsky, DDS this place are so friendly I certainly give them five stars. They are good I had two crowns put in and I will be going back next year cause my insurance ran out, but these people are very good and I went to many different dentists in my lifetime. I hope they’re there for quite some time and I hope my dentist will be there for length of time and not to go away. The worst thing is is when you get to know your doctor and then they leave. I particularly don’t like that. so I hope she stays for a length of time this place is great from a very concerned patient

Super friendly, knowledgeable, helpful. Makes one feel comfortable. Had previous appt w Dr Jeff (on an advisory look at a mouth issue & steered me in right direction). At this cleaning (by super Lori), Doc Pete did extensive review and discussed some procedures in my future. I could see with my own eyes from the mouth scans the issues he pointed out to me. No questions left unanswered. No hesitation on my part to recommend this facility. Ruth J.

For most xray , exam and cleaning.Dr Peter Hancovsky is a very caring doctor. He listens my concern. The second appointment was my cavity repair. I felt very comfortable during the procedure.

Fantastic experience: Became a patient of Peter Hancovsky, DDS, The Dental group was able to take me, as a new patient and all in the first hour did a preliminary check up with x-rays and took the first step toward a new crown. No pain or discomfort. If you need dental work done I recommend this group very, very highly.

Fantastic experience: The experience I had at this dentist was awesome. They were able to get me in the same day because of a chipped wisdom tooth. Dr. Niedziela is very knowledgeable and explains the process and everything before doing so as well as the ladies that were assisting him. The area is healing wonderfully and with absolutely minimal pain. Definitely recommend and will be back.

Positive experience: The hygienist has always been awesome! The exam chairs at the new office are REALLY REALLY uncomfortable. The arm rest are way to short & when I was laid back it could not be adjusted or the pillow think made it worse. No support for the neck.

Negative experience: Very disappointed. Spent 1.5 hours for a cleaning. My cleaning only took 30 minutes. The rest was selling me on teeth issues. I feel this place is a scam and a big money pit. My how my teeth must've changed in 6 months. My dental insurance changed so I have to figure. Will be looking for new dental insurance so I can go back to my long time dentist of over 15 years who I trust

Fantastic experience: Niki was the best hygienist for cleaning my sensitive teeth. She did a great job with little pain. Dr Pete was very kind and knowledgeable Both are fantastic!!

Fantastic experience: The dental assistant, Michelle I believe is her name, was super kind and very vocal about what she’s doing when she’s doing it. There were no surprise pokes or harsh movements. Super bubbly and talkative too!

Fantastic experience: The dentists have been providing my dental care now for 9 years and they are terrific. Last year when I had questions about my upcoming procedure, they had me stop in and clear up my confusion. When I went in they even were able to do the procedure right there and then. What a relief to not have to worry about it until August when it was scheduled. Their new office building is beautiful and the parking is adjacent to the building making a much shorter walk.

My dentist did a wonderful job of keeping me numb during the procedure. The team also did a great job of answering my questions, giving me options and prices.

Negative experience: Beyond disappointed with my experience. initial appointment, for a cleaning, was 3 HOURS! I have never before had to pay for anything 'extra' at a cleaning before, but I left with a $100+ bill. Then I needed a crown done and the permanent crown has no shape, they ground it down so much. Both the assistant and dentist completely ignored how much pain I was in, pretty sure I need a root canal on the tooth. I have a high tolerance for pain, but I was crying in the chair. So mad that I paid an obscene amount of money for this horrible service. For the cleaning and the crown prep I got surveys right away, nothing for this appointment I am sure because they knew how upset I am.

Fantastic experience: It was already a tough day when I went in to have a sore tooth checked and found out it required a root canal right away. My dentist and the entire staff were so nice and took care of it, avoiding a thanksgiving tooth dilemma.

Fantastic experience: I have been visiting this dental facility for several years now.The quality of care is superb. All the staff there are very courteous, kind and respectful. Their quality of care is second to none in my book. Dr Jeff is one of the most upbeat outgoing and gregarious dentists I think I've ever met.

Negative experience: I would NOT recommend! I was very disappointed by my experience. It was my very 1st visit so I slotted out the time they suggested of 1.5hours. I spent more time sitting in a room by myself than with a staff member. Also after explicitly saying I did NOT want any extra things done I was charged for something I never consented to at check out. To start the girl who did my scans used this big wand and banged all around in my mouth for a 3D scan? She kept hitting my teeth in a way I was worried she might chip one. She forgot to do the 2nd scan even though I asked what it was and she said she would be back and never came back. 20 minutes goes by and the dentist comes in. He was pretty great personality wise but lacked knowledge of products on market and didn’t actually answer a most of my questions I asked just side stepped them with no follow up. Another 20 minutes sitting in the room alone the hygienist comes in and starts the cleaning. She was nice enough but it was the roughest cleaning of my life. She kept pressing the water suction tool into my lips and gums the entire time and then kept mentioning how all my gums seems irritated and bleeding. Yes I have SOME of that anyway but all that rough plastic rubbing and pushing was not only unhelpful but unnecessary. The hour and a half passed and I expressed the need to wrap it up because I was going to be late for work. She then began a “deep cleaning” that she never told me about nor gained my consent atlas apparently that is a $60 charge(no wonder why it was taking so long). When I was done she had me get up to follow her to a different room and awkwardly stand there while she did computer work even though there was one in the room I was in When I reached the check out counter OVER 2 hours after my appointment started and now late to work……I was given a bill!!!! I asked what that was for when I had already said no to everything and this is when the hygienist says “well your gums were inflamed and I decided based on that you needed it so I went ahead and did that!” EXCUSE ME? I told them ALL that I NEVER consented to that and they can’t just do work and charge me. The lady at the desk said I’d have to pay for service rendered. I was already so late for work and couldn’t fight with them any more so I stupidly paid and left I do however plan to speak to someone about that! Pending that conversation a potential complaint to the BBB may be warranted.

Fantastic experience: I have been receiving dental care for 70 years. Dental Care of Pewaukee is way out forward the best ever. Dr Jeff and medical assistant Jenni completed a triple root canal recently on me. The skill level was exceptional and office staff support friendly and professional. New offices, new location are very nice. Cheers

Positive experience: My visit for a cleaning was ok in the new property. The only comment I would make is that the TV in the room was positioned so it could not be able to be viewed by myself during the cleaning being laid back in the chair. However I noticed that the dental technician kept looking at the TV while she was working on my teeth - I think that was not a good idea. Why you spent money on the TV’s when patients can not see it and it was obviously distracting for the technician.
