Fantastic experience: Took my husband there, as he is very afraid of the dentist. There is the most caring and knowledgeable staff working there. Dr. Patricia Raygada Rabanal thoroughly explained everything to us and helped us pick out the best treatment options to fit our budget. Prices are excellent as well, as we are currently without dental insurance. The hygienist was non-judgmental, kind and patient. The receptionist, Joyce (super sweet) also helped us get our records and referred him to an oral surgeon. He had a ton of anxiety and the team alleviated it all. Facility is very modern, clean and has good parking as well.

Fantastic experience: So I usually do not post reviews as I am a busy mom but this dental office deserves a great review. We have struggled to find a dental office that doesn’t feel like walking into a car dealership with them trying to push extra costs, unnecessary procedures, or sell us expensive dental products that can be found over the counter for half the price. They were very upfront with out of pocket costs and insurance coverage. They didn’t try to upsell us anything. Very straight to the point and the dentist is very nice and transparent. He explained everything clearly and I felt treated with respect. Thank you Southbay Dental Arts for a great experience. We will be coming back!

Fantastic experience: Respectfully, clean, professional, best customer service!

Negative experience: I have always had a great experience until my most recent visit. I was told by the front office after my appointment my visit wasn’t covered by insurance which was strange. I asked her to confirm and I received a call the following day from her saying the visit isn’t covered. She proceeded to ask for a credit card over the phone without the opportunity to fully process the information or at least receive a billing statement. I proceeded to call my insurance company after and it was confirmed the information was false, and my visits are indeed covered. I followed up with a call to the front office and no acknowledgment of the error on their part or at least an Apology. I would have ended up paying for a visit I shouldn’t have, if I did not do my due diligence. The whole process just left a bitter taste and I won’t be returning. The doctor is great but patients should be treated with the utmost respect and care.

When I came in for my appointment, I wasn't even allowed to sit down because they were ready for me to be roomed. I was seen right away and after getting xrays done, the doctor was in to see me within 5 minutes. I love when a doctor does not over book themselves so I'm not waiting 5 hours to be seen.
