Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE!! BACK TO BACK BAD SERVICE. TRIED TO COMPLAIN AND THE STUPID MANAGER IN CHARGE MADE ME SAY ALL MY BUSINESS IN FRONT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS INSTEAD OF TAKING ME TO A PRIVATE ROOM. THEY WONT LET ME TALK TO THE ACTUAL OWNERS OF THE PLACE. IM FILING MULTIPLE COMPLAINS. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!

Negative experience: Been going here for 6months for the same tooth teeth that have been causing me pain keep informing the dentist im in pain dude ignored it through 2 infections and now going into a third and proceeded to work on every other tooth that wasnt hurting me and now most of my teeth hurt after recieving dental work here. The staff is great the denist obviously doesn't care about anything else then money. Update: About a little under a year later and most of the crowns these people put in fell out and now I Have more dental issues.

Negative experience: I had an appointment to get a bad tooth removed, I had to wait almost 2 weeks for an appointment, I had to take meds for 10 days then wait so wait time was mostly because of meds, I was going to be late for my appointment so I called to let them know, I didn't know a big rig caught on fire on the freeway that day, so unfortunately I was an hour late, I asked them if they could still see me because I'm in pain, I've been in pain, I just sat in 2 hours of traffic to get here, I've waited 2 weeks to get this tooth removed, it's giving me headaches, they said no and refused to see me, thanks

Negative experience: I came in for an appointment on 02/09/2026. My was at 3 p.m., I arrived early as per protocol. The lobby had several people in it waiting for appointments. There was an older lady with three young kids ( all about grade school aged) they were running around the lobby. They were making noise and opening the dentist area door along with the entrance door. This was very unnerving along with the older lady with her phone on full volume not paying attention to the children. The person on the front desk paid no attention to this nor did she make an attempt to stop this. I also waited 25 minutes before I eventually left. Before leaving I had asked the person at the front desk if I could reschedule my appointment but was ignored.

Positive experience: The dental work is good; otherwise, I would not take the time to complete this survey. However, the patient experience could be improved. I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment, was asked to sign in, and waited over an hour without any greeting, update, or explanation for the delay. A simple acknowledgment or communication would make patients feel valued and respected.

Negative experience: If you’re a first time patient going here don’t even bother! I called to make an appointment & they asked what it was for; I clearly stated I needed a cleaning & oral exam which they then said was okay. Mind you, the day of my appointment I arrived on time but was called in 15 min later & they did everything except for the cleaning which I thought was a waste of time especially since that was my intention of going to the dentist not to just have my teeth checked & do nothing with regards to the feedback I got about my teeth. They said, “Oh well we can’t do the cleaning because you’re due for a deep cleaning & I was like what like how can you not?? The girl then proceeded to say well if we do the cleaning now it’s just gonna move all the build up around & there’s no point in doing that if you’re gonna come back for a deep cleaning. I was seriously in shock like are you kidding me! That to me was just pure laziness!! Never have I ever experienced such unprofessionalisn at a dental facility. They said my insurance would get back to me to schedule the cleaning but still haven’t heard from them & it’s been almost 2 weeks now. So like I said don’t even bother going if you’re a first time patient with them & look elsewhere because clearly they are just lazy here!!!! I called another place & right away they said they do the cleaning & oral exam for first time patients so save yourselves the time if that’s what you’re going here for.

Fantastic experience: I’m a new patient at this dentist and had some work done. This is the first dentist I’ve been to where I didn’t feel the numbing needle at all! The doc was so gentle I love this place. 0 complaints and all the staff is attentive and they work fast, they don’t waste your time they are there to do a job and provide service and they do that well. I’ve been to some dentists where it’s very slow paced and this location is far from that. Great dentist. Great doctors, great staff.! Thank you all.

Negative experience: I had an appointment at 4:00 PM today and was there at 3:47 PM but I waited until 4:51 PM but they didn't let me in. There were two customers after me and I saw the nurse calling them. But when I asked the secretary why they were sending them in earlier than me, she told me to shut up and I was very upset and I don't want to go to this dentist anymore because they don't do their work on time and they disrespected me.

My son has had bad experiences with other dentist in the past, but the workers intent to keep my son happy and calm through something that is normally a stressful environment, fills me with so much gratitude that I can’t express well enough into words. Fantastic experience: I had severe toothpain and Chula Vista Dental Care took me in as a walk-in the same day and diagnosed the problem. Gave me the proper medication to reduce the pain and scheduled me for a root canal and took care of me within 2 weeks! Amazing and caring staff.

Negative experience: This place and their employees have not a damn clue about what they are doing. My grandma had to go in SIX TIMES cause her tooth kept falling out! this is insane! She went to ask for her money back and instead they made an APPOINTMENT to re-attatch her tooth just for it to fall out AGAIN!!! she spent so much money. they need to give her a refund asap i am furious. She called her insurance and they said they would call this place so they can give her a call back on this matter. THEY NEVER CALLED. if i could leave this place 0 stars, i would.

Fantastic experience: Chula Vista Dental Care is truly an amazing dental care provider that was able to accomplish my extensive needs due to being outside the US for a long period and also was not able to accomplish much progress at my previous dentist for over a year. However, this team was able to transform my smile from a difficult situation to a great smile at zero out of pocket expense by persistent efforts and resubmissions to my limited dental coverage for approvals and I was provided with dental care fully covered. In addition to all the above; everyone from top DDS to dental care staff and admin are all professional , kind and caring that I felt very comfortable and relaxed during a potential painful process

Positive experience: I really like Chula Vista Dental. They explain procedures and make sure you get cleanings up to date with insurance paying for it. Professional but also very nice. sometimes the wait can be a drag when they over book.

Negative experience: Absolutely horrible experience staff is very rude and unprofessional. Couldnot give me details regarding my appointment and prescription. Dr Maroon does not care about his patients would not prescribe ibuprofen for an infected tooth which my insurance covers 100% why would I pay out of pocket for over the counter; imposing financial hardships but yet quoted me a $2,000 treatment plan lol just absolutely ridiculous. treatment with prejudice negligence and very unprofessional do not waste your time or money here Zero stars

Fantastic experience: I have recessed gums, and going to the dentist for cleaning is always something I dread The only way I can tolerate it is if the dentist hand- scales .Any machine , especially with cold water, sends me right out of the chair. I asked this dentist , and although somewhat reluctant,which is understandable, she handscaled. I had absolutely no discomfort at all! Her assistant was extremely gentle as well. Not 1 bit of discomfort !!!! Thank you:) Grateful patient

Negative experience: Had two implants about ten years ago. One of them came out recently. I do not recommend implants there

Negative experience: Absolute worst !! This place is a nightmare. Look at some of the 1star reviews including an MD. Guilty of fraud & misrepresentation & I’m going to court. So many things wrong with this place. No plan of care, just took my $3k on Feb 26th & said it’d all be done within a month. Said Delta Dental didn’t cover anything. Then they say the lab makes an error on my uppers & that’s why they’re delayed. Then they said the lowers would be ready in 1 week on April 26th & they would call me in 1week. Never called. I called them on May 9th & they said earliest appt is June 7th. Now they say it’s taking longer because they have to have metal in the teeth & I have to be ‘re-fitted’ again.They never told me about the metal aspect. Never asked me or told me I had a choice. They just do what they want without permission or asking. No updates, no communication, just plain bad service with terrible customer service from front desk to back. They don’t tell the truth which is all I wanted; no bogus initial claims that they would all be ready in 1 month. This place gives dentistry a bad name & I recommend you go anywhere else.

Negative experience: Dated equipment. Rooms dimly lit and appear dirty--several were water damaged during my last appointment. Hour-long waiting room time--every appointment. Reception staff are professional-- regrettably, the dental staff are not.

At first glance I was Leery of its location but became more relaxed as I was greeted with utmost respect as I entered for my appt. Being Trans is believe it or not still stereotyped And shunned to the point of making one feel uncomfortable. I felt a sense of calm and then my anxiety diminished , I knew this was the place for me
