Fantastic experience: My Smile dental was the first dentist to get my son through a full cleaning. My son started to struggle with dental visits when suction was introduced, and we had some dentists get really frustrated with him. Smile Dental was so patient. They explained what the tools were, let him take quick breaks, and were very encouraging. I want my son to have a positive relationship with dental work, and Smile Dental seems to be making that happen. Thank you! They were also very transparent about insurance, prices, and what treatment they felt was necessary vs. optional. I never felt pressured. I'm very happy to have found them.

Fantastic experience: The energy felt as I walk into this office is positive and welcoming, As soon as I walk in the door I am greeted by name. Everyone is courteous and respectful. The waiting room, offices and exam rooms are spotless. I have always been taken back to the exam room promptly after my arrival. The personal is always well prepared and explain every step of the way. The dental assistants are very well trained and exceed my expectations on the quality of care they give. The dentist are always in a good mood, apologetic if they run only a moment behind schedule. The numbing experience was very easy and painless. I am happy with all dental care done thus far. And the prices are very reasonable. I really do appreciate all the appointment reminder text. I would recommend this office 100%

Negative experience: My visit did NOT go well - I had a bridge done and of course office used all my 1500ins. Plus more out of my pocket. Had to wait 3 weeks for lab/which was fine with me. when arrived to the final appointment the bridge had to be sent back to lab/was not a match for me. I said I wasn’t going to wait agin so I ended with a bridge that I’m not satisfied/I’m sad & upset. I do not recommend this Dental Office - stay away. **Oh ok if your office really stand behind your work then let’s move forward and take care of my bridge have someone from your office call me

Fantastic experience: The smile dentists are great. I got there a bit early for my appointment and the receptionist is welcoming and always has a big smile and she got me right in. I was there for my crown Replacement and I was in and out quickly. I was even able to eat dinner right after my appointment with no issues or waiting. I highly recommend this dentist.

Fantastic experience: I LOVE THIS LOCATION! The staff is so welcoming and I appreciate how timely and professional they are. I’ve had previous bad experiences with OTHER practices and at My Smile they were understanding of my feelings and worked patiently with me to be comfortable and clear about what steps to take towards my dental hygiene. Fantastic experience: Goodness, this place is amazing. I had a tooth extraction today I had no pain whatsoever with the shot with the pulling of the tooth. I didn’t feel really anything and I’m just so shocked. I usually fear the dentist so much and I’m just so happy that I got a second opinion and that I fell into their hands thank you again to everyone that works there. All staff are just wonderful people.

Negative experience: I went in for what was supposed to be a cleaning come to find out they scheduled it as a consult even though I'd already had one back in March. Then after being told my government insurance would only cover up to 1500 dollars of my work, I would have to pay over 3000 out of pocket. I walked out as soon as their insurance person, Olga, confirmed the number. Never going back.

Fantastic experience: Olga was very helpful when I called due to a dental emergency she was able to squeeze me in asap! I got the help that I need from the doctor ! They did more for me then at the ER ! I’m being treated now and have a referral for more treatment . I appreciate this office always helping me with good timing as well . Fantastic experience: I went in yesterday for an appointment at My Smile San Diego Dental Center because I was having problem with my tooth. Dr King evaluated my tooth and his evaluation indicated that my tooth needed to be abstracted. I had skeptism initially when he told me the result but after he calmly and professionally explain why it needed to be removed and he insured me that he could remove it the same day without issues, I went ahead with the appointment. Dr King and Isabel were the best dentists I have ever had the pleasure to do work on my teeth. They both calmly and professionally relaxed me and did the procedure without any pain or uncomfortably. Dr King, I must say is the best dentist I have ever had and he knows exactly what he's doing and he knows how to take care of a patient and send them home with a smile. I would like to thank Dr King and Isabel for their wonderful dentistry work, they are a super team and I hope my next visit I can get the same treatment from them. Kudos for an outstanding dentistry team. If anyone ever need any dentistry work this is the place to go. I would also like to thank Ms Olga because she is the manager that put patients with professional and outstanding dentists.

Fantastic experience: HAVE HAD VIRTUALLY ALL MY DENTAL WORK FOR LAST 30 YEARS DONE AT THIS OFFICE. I HAVE NOT ALWAYS TAKEN CARE OF MY TEETH THE WAY I SHOULD HAVE, MEANING WHEN I DID NEED WORK DONE, IT WAS SIGNIFICANT. MOST RECENTLY HAD TO REPLACE ALL REMAINING UPPER TEETH. OPTED FOR SNAP IN DENTURE PLAN. IT TOOK A WHILE FOR THE PROCESS, BUT i JUST RECEIVED THE FINAL DENTURES AND COULD NOT BE MORE PLEASED. THE STAFF HAS BEEN AND CONTINUES TO BE FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. IN ALLTHE WORK I HAD DONE, THERE HAS NEVER BEEN ANY SIGNIFICANT PAIN. ANY ISSUES QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY TAKEN CARE. I AM MUCH MORE CONSCIOUS OF THE CARE NEEDED TO MINIMIZE DENTAL WORK IN THE FUTURE, BUT WHEN NEEDED, IT WILL BE WITH MY SMILE SAN DIEGO.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Smile San Diego for years. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful with addresses all your questions and concerns about procedures and the cost for each procedure. They also try to work within your budget and will work out a payment program for the procedure. Smile San Diego also accepts most dental insurance plans and will accept Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA). I recommend Smile San Diego, because they are thorough and they make sure you are receiving the best dental care and are satisfied with their work.

Fantastic experience: It was my first time here and I’m usually hesitant picking a dentist clinic. The last one I’ve been to made me feel so discouraged about how my teeth are, I didn’t even want to go see any dentist because I knew they weren’t in the healthiest condition, and was afraid of being judged. But when I found this one, and read the reviews, I was relieved of how nice everyone was to me. They didn’t make me feel bad about the condition my teeth were in, were focused on the problem and didn’t judge me at all. I felt welcomed and at ease here, definitely will be coming back♥️

Fantastic experience: Easily the best dental office you can find. Everyone in the office is very friendly. They are extremely fast and efficient. I was in and out of a deep cleaning this morning and I was in the building for a total of 30 minutes. And they seem to be the most affordable dentistry that I’ve been to. They really do take care of their patients.

Fantastic experience: I was on the hunt for a new dentist out in my neighborhood and the only one I could think about was in my old neighborhood. So I went back to Smile San Diego and I’m glad I did. I hadn’t been to the dentist in a while so there is definitely some stuff going on in my mouth. They are very transparent and worked with me in what is the most important stuff that should be worked on first and want can wait.

Fantastic experience: Friendly and competent. I do feel you are busy trying to sell more services that it takes more time to get in and out. This may be government requirements or fear of lawsuits. I only wanted a crown glued back on but, X-ray , dentist inspection, pricing for replacing (almost a grand) and repeatedly reminder by EVERYONE that the glue may not last very long, they finally glued my crown on. I only had to pay eighteen dollars and almost an hour of my time.

Fantastic experience: I went in for a crown replacement. I appreciated how quickly it went! They made sure I was comfortable and relaxed. I can get pretty anxious and worked up thinking about the procedure. But it really wasn’t an issue because they made me feel very comfortable and it was so quick!

Negative experience: First of all, i don’t know her name but she’s the one coordinating all scheduling for any treatment or any suggestions, she is very rude on our first visit also for the following appointments that my kid’s had, she doesn’t know how to treat the customers/patient the way she talk to my kids and me. She is very unethical and reckless in front of the minor kids, I hope this dental clinic can give her a more training how to treat customers/patients in a professional way with manner, this will be our last day today visiting this clinic because on our first we didn’t get satisfied the way she treated my kids and me.

Negative experience: This dental clinic is only after your money. No service done except x rays and then billing talk. I came in for a dental cleaning and they can’t do deep cleaning because I should be on anesthesia . Well, Isn’t it their job as dental professionals? I was billed for a consult which I did not come for.

This is and has been a place where they explain what is happening.What needs to be done & what would be the best plan for you. I never walk in not knowing what is happening. The office people are very informative, Dentist are very courteous & gentle. I do trust & feel comfort coming here for my treatment.

Negative experience: This is an update from my last review: originally I had given 5 stars during my initial visit. Everyone was great. Today I had an appt for my initial treatment. They were going to do an extraction. They told me that my insurance covered extraction but not bone graft. Bone graft was just in case I wanted bridge or implant in the future. Today during my appt I decided to opt out on bone graft since it was $350. Manager told me they won’t be able to do the extraction if I don’t get bone graft. I called my insurance (Cigna) and asked if I needed to get graft in order to get extract. They said no and a formal complaint was done by my insurance. It’s ridiculous how they try to take advantage. I understand the benefits of the graft but it is ultimately my decision.

Fantastic experience: I am really happy with my new crown. I continue to praise my doctor and the rest of the staff for being so professional and efficient. And they also have the best fees for products and services. I recommend them highly.

Negative experience: You called me several weeks ago to make an appointment. On January 9th, at 11 am. I come to my appointment on the 9th at 11 am, staff tells me that I don't have an appointment, you're system & staff arrive extremely overrated. Not professional at all & you charge to much. I suggest you go back & make significant changes to your overall operation.

From the office staff and dental assistants as well as my dentist Dr. King and Dr. Herrera, the Implant Specialist , has been great! Dr. King has performed various procedures, and all have been well explained and performed with the utmost care during the visit and dental procedures. Dr. King talks you through the process, always asking how you are doing and asking if you feel any pain or discomfort. Both Dr. King and his assistant Isabel were great in explaining detailed after care instructions and making you comfortable while undergoing dental work . My experience with the office staff, Liz, Nicole, Teresa, and Olga, have all been positive experiences as well. Olga also gives detailed information on insurance coverage as well as details on what is covered and Out of pocket costs for dental work done as well as estimate cost for proceedures that will be associated with future dental procedures in detailed writing. Care credit is accepted at Smile San Diego too which if you have it, is a great option for payment for services rendered. Fantastic experience: This was the first time I tried a new dental place for my son. We had gone to the same one over 7 years and we were very unhappy and we decided to pick this location. Staff was friendly, it was quick (appointment was at 8 and was out the door by 9:10am), and my son felt very comfortable. Dr. Herrera and Mrs. Olga answered all my questions and were very patient. Definitely recommend this place!

Fantastic experience: Everytime I walk into the dental office I am taken care of right away! The staff is always attentive and kind. I have a fear of going to dental offices but the staff, including the girls in the front office, always make my visit pleasant. Would recommend!
