He has given me an implant and crown and has done great work. The girls are very nice there as well. My husband who has some issues with missing teeth in his older age feels very comfortable going there. They’re very good with him and his dental health. We come all the way from Eagle Mountian but its worth the drive!

Fantastic experience: My family and I have been going to Dr. Green for about 15 years. When he moved his office from West Jordan to American Fork, we followed! He's fantastic and always has great dental hygienists. The entire staff is always so friendly.

Fantastic experience: I recently had to find a new dentist after my previous one retired, and I was looking for someone closer to home. I had a cleaning appointment here, and I was really impressed with the dental hygienist—she was fantastic! I also had a filling done, and Dr. Green made the whole experience smooth and comfortable. Overall, it was a great visit, and I'm happy to have found a new dentist!

Negative experience: The experience I had at Masterpiece Dental was disappointing and traumatic. Initially, as I was writing this review I wrote my full experience in detail but realized afterwards that the full in depth story isn't important. As my intention here isn't to harm Masterpiece Dental or Dr. Green but merely to express my experience so others can have a more informed opinion of the office they are about to use. To summarize, during my appointment I had work done on a tooth that wasn't supposed to be worked on. I was supposed to have work done on my #5 tooth. However, Dr. Green started work on my #4 tooth. What makes this worse was that when he started drilling I had NO numbing which made the experience very traumatic and painful. I also had to seek a second opinion on my #19 tooth that Dr. Green just placed a crown on and unfortunately have to now get a root canal in. I have bad anxiety with dentists and really needed someone to take that into account. When this happened, I felt like they didn't care about me and even more so didn't acknowledge my anxiety and fear that this experience has further amplified. The communication between the Dr. and Office staff could have been better and it was only after I complained did I receive a partial refund. I feel like the stress, pain, fear, anxiety, and potential future costs from having a crown on a tooth that I didn't need one on- is not worth the money they refunded. I hope that this can help them slow down, and be more attentive to future patients. As this is really the only reason for me writing this review. Thank you,

Negative experience: Dr Green came in and was polite at first but abrasive in that he had no bedside manner. He started immediately attempting the implant with no warning, when I expressed pain he seemed exasperated and quickly grabbed needles, stabbed them into my gums with no warning and proceeded to pull my upper right wisdom tooth, again, without warning displaying lack of bedside manner. He quickly pulled that and the upper left wisdom tooth then attempted to take the bottom left which was very painful, I expressed pain and he did not stop. I raised my arms and he was frustrate, claiming I had tried to grab him, which I did not, and again, he was exasperated instead of addressing the pain. Which at the beginning of the appointment, it was made clear I should let them know if I was in pain. So it was jarring to have him try to force my tooth out when I was clearly in pain. He then was frustrated and left, the two assistants/hygienists tried to console me as I sobbed from the pain, they had been very kind the entire time, being very considerate of my fear of needles and had kindly addressed my pain whenever it was communicated. Dr. Green came back and had the audacity to tell me that things hurt when your anxious and to just take deep breathe while I was sobbing because of how much him pulling on my bottom left wisdom tooth hurt. I was not crying due to anxiety, it had been painful, I had tried to let him know, he ignored me, and continued to try to painfully force my tooth out. He left and I let the two girls in the room with me know he was an ass and I wasn't sure I wanted to continue. Of course I had to because I had already been numbed. When he came around again he was much nicer, but I was already fuming and did not want anything to do with him. He finished, this time showing that he did not lack the ability to show bedside manner, he simply hadn't wanted to earlier. He kindly told me to let him know if I was in pain, he was much more deliberate in letting me know what he was doing and it was a better experience. However, I do not doubt the Dr I had experienced earlier is what his staff and patients more commonly experience. Not only is my experience with him poor, but watching him interact with the staff was uncomfortable. Both appointments I have had here he tended to take things from the staff helping him, and they would uncomfortably try and figure out where to step in as he often overstepped in their responsibilities. He often took their tools from them to do things himself, or for example in this appointment where they pulled my wisdom teeth, he frustratedly went looking for something without talking to his assist in the room, the girls in the room with me tried to figure out how to best help him and what he was looking for, attempting to follow him but he run back before they could do anything to assist. In general, he was very dismissive of them, which is frustrating as one in his staff is clearly training and should not have to experience a Doctor who is clearly not in the headspace to be supportive or learned from. It's important to note that the staff are all very kind and attentive, remembering my name, asking all the right questions, and being courteous throughout every experience, not just my own. I can only hope that those attributes rub on off on him and that I am the last bad experience to occur in this office.

I don’t think I’ve ever waited more than 3 minutes to be taken back. They do a wonderful job explaining the process as they go. I’m just sad I didn’t find them before I did. I thought it was time to find a dentist closer to home, but I don't want to lose the quality I have with Masterpiece. All the hygienists and Dr. Green are great/ professional. Also a shout out to Natalie at the front desk, super friendly and always helpful. If you want a great dental office that is friendly and welcoming, yet also does a great job and will keep your teeth healthy…. Masterpiece is a safe bet!

Fantastic experience: Have been with Dr. Green for over ten years. Great service... from receptionist to hygienists to dentist. Dr. Green always works to provide the most cost effective, high quality treatments to keep my teeth and gums in top shape. In other words, he has saved me and my family lots of $$ through great preventative maintenance and performing only necessary repairs.

Fantastic experience: Amazing dentist! They care to make you better not take all your money. To start the front desk lady is extremely kind and personable. The Doctors know what they are doing and do great work. I had a different dentist tell me I needed a root canal. When I went to masterpiece he noticed the cap was to high. He sanded it down and I went away super happy.

I went in for a second opinion, and they helped me out right away with a couple of fillings (4 less than what the other office wanted to do). Prices were also very fair, and they were straight up about costs at every step of the process. It was just supposed to be a second opinion, but everything about the visit made me decide to stick with them long term as my new dental office.

Fantastic experience: I was searching for self pay and this place had the best prices, much lower for the complete package (cleaning, x-rays, and doctor visit) than everywhere else I researched. They were extremely friendly, the front desk was awesome and made you Smile, the back end was gentle with their cleanings, but thorough, and it was quick. My wife and I really enjoyed our time and have decided to make them our permanent dental office.
