Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about Oak Leaf Dental. I recently had to have a crown and I had a tight turn around timeframe since we were going out of town. Mercedes was wonderful. She was able to get me in less than a week for my permanent crown. The dental assistant who put on the temporary crown did a fabulous job, as well. It fit perfectly. I couldn’t even tell it was a temporary. And, as usual, Dr. Lisa Mayeda was fabulous. She is a wonderful dentist: conscientious, patient, thorough and extremely knowledgeable. She always spends as much time as needed to get the job done right. I highly recommend her and the staff at Oak Leaf Dental.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I love these guys! My wife was terrified of going to the dentist, and I had to hold her hand when I first met her every time she went to the dentist. It wasn’t until we started going to Oak Leaf Dental that that fear dissipated to the point that I no longer have to hold her hand and watch my fingers turn blue because she squeezes so hard. Now I am sure that this doesn’t sound important to you, but I like to keep my fingers the way they are and my wife is happy as can be that she doesn’t have to put up with me in the same room while she’s getting her dental work done. So we highly recommend everyone at Oak Leaf Dental! They have graciously put up with me every time I come in.

Negative experience: Initial visit and consultation was great. All the details about financial costs given. The oral surgeon was Extremely caring ! This part went smoothly. The bad news my original cost to remove 2 wisdom teeth was 1100.00. I was asked to pay a 100.00 deposit, ok fine paid. I was given finance options to review, I found an option that worked. I paid 562.50 for the financing. Day of dental visit , oral surgeon suggest we do extractions, because of pre existing condition. At the end of visit I’m told my insurance will refund me the extra money out of pocket. At this point I’m thinking it’s 150.00. Staff cancels the 1100.00 finance contract that day as .Im checking out .Looking at bill after the extraction is 512.00. I called the office after my visit I’m told we’re waiting for the claim clear. By now it’s the end of Dec 2025. I called twice again in Jan 2026 , now no one wants to take my calls or return my calls. Well , after 3 months of calling this office. Office manager refusing to take my calls. I find out , I only needed to pay 239.00 out pocket per the insurance company. Basically,per the insurance company , since I paid the dentist directly they are responsible for the refund. Office manager and staff all insisted the insurance company was responsible for the refund. As of this posting I still have not received any of money back. No refund or partial refund of the 562.50 i spent on financing option. I paid 3 times the cost for a dental care.

Fantastic experience: With every cleaning appointment that grows nearer, my anxiety explodes by the hour! It is completely unnecessary, as proven once again by my hygienist, Huong, this afternoon. She is exceptionally calm and gentle during all my visits and puts all her patients at ease! (My husband is also her patient and describes the same treatment by her) Her professional demeanor and soothing manner soon relaxes me and the cleaning process whizzes by. I leave wondering why I wasted all that time fretting. Whenever she’s in charge, the procedure becomes a pleasant experience and results are superior!

Negative experience: Called twice about scheduling an appointment both times they grilled me on insurance! They were very uninformed, and unhelpful with walking me through the insurance process, they said it was not their job. I never scheduled an appointment!

Fantastic experience: I have always had a fear of dentists. I felt very comfortable here. Kind, careful, and thorough. My old dentist, who shall not be named, kept saying I was fine with no cavities. Come to find out, I had many, which was why my teeth hurt. Oak leaf now sees my whole family, and we have zero complaints. ✌️
