Negative experience: Fraudulent and unprofessional. I had sensitivity when I was biting using my back teeth. I was told filing the gum would fix it. I again went back with the same problem and they are telling me the tooth behind is sensitive. It essentially didn’t fix anything. Why did they say it will fix the sensitivity issue? They are just doing random stuff and giving false hope on what will fix the problem.

Fantastic experience: Tandy has been my hygienist for quite a few years . I have appreciated her professionalism and fun demeanor from the beginning. She cares about my oral hygiene very much. She lets me know any deficiencies she sees and gives me pointers on corrective procedures. She is also enjoyable to engage in conversation. The dentists that check me after a teeth cleaning are so nice and very positive.

Fantastic experience: UPDATE: Dr. Borrowdale and his team continue to provide excellent care in a professional, caring and friendly way. Cons: Overpriced - while I used to pay in Pleasanton/Dublin, CA high price in dentistry with the nowadays equipment, here, in this clinic with equipment literally from previous century, I was asked to pay(at least for cron) even more. Fantastic experience: I cracked two teeth and needed a double crown. I was dreading the experience. Dr. Borrowdale was incredibly gentile. He did not begin the procedure until i was feeling zero paid. Each of the staff involved were super kind and even fun to interact with. I have had other crowns in the past from other dentists, but this was by far the best experience. I am so grateful to Dr. Borrowdale and his fantastic team of professionals.

I was told i had a cavity and elected to have it filled same-day. I was only charged $353 for the cavity and deep cleaning that day! Fantastic experience: May 2024 The standard of care at this office is excellent. They truly care about educating patients so that they’re involved with treatment options and decisions. The materials they use are top quality and long lasting. The office itself is very clean and beautiful, you can tell the staff take pride in the office presentation. The ladies at the desk are all very friendly and helpful with all questions and concerns. The back office is great too! I’ve had all the hygienists and can’t say enough good things. I trust this office like they’re members of my family. - April Update Feb 2024: Amazed at my 3 year olds appointment today. She was finally brave enough to sit in the chair and let them complete a cleaning visit. It’s taken time and patience, but totally worth it. I love that our whole family can be at one office together. Updated Feb 2023: Still love this fantastic team of people at Dr. Borrowdale’s office. Always warm and inviting. I recommend this office whenever anyone is looking for a lifelong trustworthy dentist. Since becoming a patient I’ve brought over my husband, kiddos, my parents and closest friends who are all now patients too. 2016 I love this office. I can’t say enough great things about it or the doctors & staff that run it. Wonderful team of people who are passionate about their part in taking excellent care of their patients.

Negative experience: Updated May 2024: I am deeply disappointed by the lack of transparency and honesty exhibited by Dr. Borrowdale's office and staff regarding billing practices. Our recent experience at their office left my wife and I feeling deceived and taken advantage of, and I feel compelled to share my story to warn others. In January, my wife went in for a cleaning and X-rays. She was told she had a cavity and elected to have it filled same-day. She was then told the office was "having billing issues with Delta, so she would need to pay upfront and be partially reimbursed through Delta." What she was not told, is that Dr. Vance was having issues with re-credentialing and was therefore temporarily Out-of-Network with Delta (for what they later explained was a 6-week period). My wife was charged $353.00 for the cavity and a deep cleaning that day. We were only reimbursed $73.50 from Delta. The cleaning and X-rays were billed In-Network, but the cavity and a deep cleaning were billed Out-of-Network. Different procedures in the same office on the same day being billed two different ways. In speaking with a staff member today, she claimed to remember a conversation from four months ago (!!!) – that she told my wife that Dr. Vance was Out-of-Network and my wife (in spite of not being in any pain whatsoever) elected to get the filling performed Out-of-Network. My wife vehemently denies this. It is very disappointing as we have always had a positive experience with the dental hygienists and Dr. Vance herself. Unfortunately, we no longer have trust in them to be forthright when it comes to billing, and will therefore be switching dentists.

Dr. Greg and Dr. Gabriella Vance are both the dentists that my husband and I see. Matt is my hygienist. Dr. Warda is the oral surgeon on staff. They are all wonderful; caring and thorough. My husband has always had anxiety with dental visits, but the staff put his fears to rest.
