Fantastic experience: I had a tremendous experience at Signal Tree Family Dental. I went in to their office after having a very bad experience at a local dentist where I was severely over quoted and mis-diagnosed for a deep cleaning (a very extensive procedure that you don't want to get done unless you need it.) At my initial visit, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful and took the time to listen to me. The office itself is very clean and pleasant to be in. I had said I was told I needed to get a deep cleaning (an extensive and expensive procedure), and after doing a consultation, they actually told me I didn't need it and DOWNSOLD me to a regular cleaning. (if you're curious about a "deep cleaning" - look it up - it is extreme, and not something you want done if you don't absolutely need it). Who has ever been DOWN sold - anywhere? I was blown away by their professionalism and their honesty. Ultimately, they lost money by being honest with me - because I was fully prepared to spend a few thousand dollars on the procedure I was told I needed at the previous dentist. I got my cleaning done today and my teeth look amazing - and I spent a fraction of what I thought I would. I would give 10 stars if I could - this has been a great experience.

Negative experience: I rarely write reviews, but this experience was too frustrating to ignore. I came in for a simple consultation—to see whether a bridge or implant would work for me and to get an estimate. I arrived early, completed all paperwork in advance, and still ended up waiting nearly two hours. Most of my visit was spent sitting and waiting, which already showed a lack of respect for patients’ time. The X-ray process was even worse. It seemed like the staff member performing it was inexperienced, and the procedure was unnecessarily painful—my gums were actually injured during the process. But the most disappointing part was the complete lack of customer care afterward. I decided not to move forward with their very high-priced treatment plan and found another clinic offering a much better option. When I asked this clinic to send over my X-rays (which I already paid for), they refused and instead handed me a $500 bill ($200 out-of-pocket). So essentially, I paid hundreds of dollars for a long wait, a painful experience, and nothing I could actually use. No results, no support—just a bill. This felt far from patient-centered care and more like being charged simply for walking in the door. I would strongly advise others to think twice before coming here, especially if you value your time, money, and basic level of care.

Fantastic experience: I hate to admit but I avoid the dentist and have for a while. Had some discomfort and made appointment. Anxiety was very high but the lady at the front desk, dental assistant and dentist were very understanding and kind. Turns out I have a lot of work that needs done. They were able to break it up into 2 upcoming appointments to take care of the issues. Price point is good and no unnecessary treatments added. They are working on a care plan with me at my comfort. I would say if you have a hard time like myself with finding a good dentist and one that actually listens...go here. Staff is great, prices are fair and very professional.

They were able to schedule me quickly for dental pain I'd been having. When I arrived, both receptionists greeted me with kindness. Viera and Dr. Booton were incredibly knowledgeable and helped come up with a plan to address my concerns. They also have some the most sophisticated technology I've ever seen in a dental office. 100% recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have been using Signal Tree dental for almost 4 years because the staff and facility here are fantastic. Dr. Booten uses all of the modern diagnostic tools to give you a very professional and thorough assessment of what is going on with your oral health. Dr. Booten and his staff take plenty of time to discuss treatments always answering all my questions never making me feel rushed. I appreciate that anything that is outside of what insurance covers is disclosed and what the costs associated would be prior to moving ahead. I struggled for years with fluorosis on my front teeth that made me very self conscious of my smile. I brought it to Dr. Booten’s attention and he helped find a treatment to permanently fix it that wasn’t a typical whitening. Thanks to the good doctor and amazing staff I now have a healthy looking smile that I can confidently show. This is a great dental practice that I would definitely recommend friendly staff, honesty, integrity, and great patient care I couldn’t ask for more.

I searched reviews for local dentists in the Fort Collins area and we decided to give Signal Tree Dental and Dr. Booton a try. I was in need of a teeth cleaning, replacing 2 old silver fillings and a new crown. Dr. Booton and his staff did an excellent job completing all of these tasks. I've always been apprehensive about dental offices due to some terrible experiences growing up, but my recent visits to address some cavities and an implant definitely lifted any concerns I previously had. During my visits, they're nothing but professional and constantly checking in on me to see how I'm doing or if I had any discomfort. The moment I was feeling something I shouldn't, they stopped to address it and apply more numbing to make sure I stayed comfortable. I highly recommend this place!

They use chemistry to help keep needle pain down to nothing it’s quite incredible. I honestly can’t wait to start showing up every 6 months and starting a normal routine. Thank you for everything.

While great dental care is important, what really earned my loyalty was Dr. Booton’s knowledge of Michael Keaton movies… he is well acquainted with a Multiplicity of them! Positive experience: Was good overall, the team was very nice and office appeared clean and tidy. My cleaning seemed very standard, doc was kind and professional. There seemed to be a few things not covered by my insurance (no fault there), they were upfront about it and I paid day of. Quoted for Invisalign, way above a previous quote I had from where I moved from. They don't take Carecredit either, only their financing company. That's ok, I don't need all that. Wasn't told I'd be getting another bill a week later for more money since apparently my cleaning wasn't covered either? Never had this happen before. For me personally, it's pretty pricey and I'm concerned how much isn't covered through my insurance here when i was told it was in network. I'm glad this place is good for others, but just not for me.
