I love the new dentists, and I still get to see Angie & Lisa :). Had a cleaning done by Amy today, and she’s just as wonderful as the others. Karen and (sorry forgot the other gal’s name) (Sophia?) are super kind, helpful, personable, and professional. I never feel like Lakeshore Dental is trying to find ways to get into my pocket book. Fantastic experience: After a less than stellar experience with a previous dentist 1 year ago, I was hesitant to go into an office and be seen. Gary and his team did an outstanding job easing my anxiety and helping me feel confident about my oral health. I was greeted by name by Lisa who took my x-rays and noticed everyone who stepped into the office was as well. I love that the office is close to my home and that the some of staff live close enough to be my neighbors. I think it goes along way too creating the unique community/family feel of this office. I left asking myself why I hadn't come here sooner. You will not be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: Personable, Professional and Friendly staff, love the view out the window overlooking the lake. There are squirrels climbing the trees and eating the corn cobs that are hanging from a shepards hook. (They are fun to watch) Angie has been cleaning my teeth for years. She is gentle but thorough. No one particularly likes to go to the dentist, but I don’t mind it knowing I will see this group. I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: My experience is always great at Evans Dental. The new owner of Evans Dental is fabulous. Staff is considerate, professional, courteous, and qualified. I called earlier this week and explained my upper denture was cracked and I'm leaving Wednesday to spend 7 months in Arizona. They scheduled my appointment for today, notified the lab and I will have the repaired denture Tuesday afternoon. It was especially gratifying to see Lisa and Angie remained on board with new ownership,!! Another awesome experience at this place.

Negative experience: I met Dr Crete about two years ago under horrible circumstances. I believe Dr Evans (whose practice she eventually took over) misdiagnosed tooth sensitivity after filling treatment as a crack. He misdiagnosed another tooth for a crack years prior to that but I was able to save the healthy tooth from his "crown treatment" only because he didn’t get back to my emergency phone call and I went to a different dentist. The real cracked tooth (on the opposite side) he couldn’t find had to be extracted due to lack of treatment for over a year. Stupidly I believed Dr Evans (who was my dentist since I moved to Fort Collins in 2011) again out of fear for losing another tooth and he ended up cutting a healthy tooth and put a temp crown on it. It trembles to think back what happened because after his "treatment," I experienced the extreme radiating pain which was much worse than minor sensitivity when chewing and he had to do a root canal to calm my tooth (it was obvious that the crack was wrong diagnosis). He permanently cemented the temp crown and told me that he would cut it with a special tool after my overseas trip. Dr Evans got injured by a bike accident and he was not there when I returned. His assistant cracked the permanently cemented crown without a dentist (who was seeing another patient in a different room) and broke the remaining tooth. Two temp dentists tried to fix this mistake and failed miserably. Dr Crete was truly superior to all these three other dentists including Dr Evans. She was honest that she might not be able to fix it and it might need an implant. She was right but she gave the final try. Her post lasted nearly for a year. She tried to get me in touch with Dr. Evans but he didn't even get back to me to apologize let alone offering a compensation for the implant/new crown which cost me 1.5k (after requesting my release of medical records through his lawyers). The other dentist who saved my other healthy tooth (still no crown) asked me in 2019 if he didn’t retire yet. Indeed he should have and he/his assistant wouldn't have destroyed my healthy tooth. He was way beyond the prime and using a tooth sleuth when he misdiagnosed (another dentist could find the correct tooth with an intraoral camera in 30 minutes). I am very impressed how Dr Crete updated technology and is bringing new medical expertise. You are in infinitely better hands over the man whom she replaced. I do hope to see a change of culture in this office (as Dr. Evans didn't employ another dentist and used his assistants to do jobs such as taking off temp crowns that they should never have been in charge according to the CO Dental Board/Association guidelines). UPDATE: As I disclosed in the Reddit post to someone's question re: the best dentist in FO CO, the "assistant" who broke my crown/remaining tooth still works here. I cannot forget her shocked reaction when it happened and her mumbling ("This doesn't happen when I take off a temp crown," "It pours when it rains," etc). She gave me a $5 Starbucks card for what she called the "inconvenience." At that time, I didn't know the extent of damage because assistants and the temp dentist didn't even explain. The assistant's more recent behavior after Dr Crete's post/crown failed is also disturbing. She asked me what my rent was and told me that she had two implants too on the day when I discovered that I had to get an implant due to irreversible damage she caused. Later she stopped my training at a gym to hug me and tell my trainer that she had "known me for a long time." I give 5 stars to Dr. Crete as a dentist but a MINUS star for this office. I went in seeking help with an intact tooth with bite sensitivity in July 2023 and they made the tooth permanently unrestorable (after three crowns and a root canal). No accountability. I am 100 percent sure that no dental office in the world would have messed up with my tooth and ruined it forever like this after a prolonged dental torture. The same staff and a different dentist now.

Fantastic experience: This place is, honestly, incredible. The lovely ladies at the front desk stood an introduced themselves to me, asked me about my day and my life. Incredible patient care right from the start. My dental hygenist was so kind and knowledgeable. She taught me things no one has ever bothered to tell me about my teeth and gums before. I felt like I was in such capable hands the entire time. I had to have a longer cleaning than expected, so was not able to have a consult with the doctor. However, the doctor still took the time to come in and introduce herself. I am blown away by how professional and friendly every single person was. If you want a dental team that cares, look no further.

Negative experience: I've been using this establishment since I was a kid. I'm 41 years old now. The recent stuff that they have done with my teeth I pre-screened with the front desk at this establishment and with my insurance. I was told by both parties I was covered 100% and got the green light! After the procedure was done on my teeth I get a $974 bill. The front desk and anthem told me it was because of my age that none of this bill is covered whatsoever. I took everyone's word on this that I was 100% covered because that's what I was told and with this establishment I have been told that over the years and we have not had one hiccup until now. Needless to say I'm going to find a new dentist. This new establishment will not be anywhere where Dr Evans was with quality when he was the owner of this business. FYI anybody going to get work done on your teeth the front office I wouldn't take their word on anything. Go figure out your own insurance before you go in because they'll stick you with the bill even though they say everything is 100% covered.

Fantastic experience: Cannot say enough about the care my family and I have received over the years at Lakeshore, (formerly Evan's), Dental! We always feel welcome, and the staff goes out of their way to help and accommodate us, and our busy schedules. Dr. Crete has also gone "above & beyond" to help me with a troublesome crown that transpired into an implant. I appreciate the extra care given to us by Dr. Crete and her staff!

This was not the experience I had with her fill in dentist while she is out temporarily. Dr. Haskins came in, barely said hello, ordered the tech, who did all the work, to lower the chair to his liking and then looked at crown. Ordered tech to floss it. Said cement it on. Took his gloves off and said," glad you're getting you're new crown" and left. Just seemed like it wasn't his day. Will be happy when Dr. Crete comes back.

Fantastic experience: I have had my fare share of multiple dental needs, from having teeth pulled, to braces, cavities, and a recent crown. My experience with Dr. Crete was terrific. I am a seasoned ICU nurse, and oral shots are not my favorite. I had several for a crown and I'm not joking when I say I didn't even feel them. Dr. Crete has a gentle hand and is a perfectionist that resonates with my ICU heart. Fantastic experience: They saw me for a routine cleaning. They discovered I lost a filling, and they filled it right there. I didn’t have to risk making another appointment and having the tooth get worse. It was the easiest novocaine shot I have ever received. I didn’t even feel it. They are real pros and friendly too.

Fantastic experience: My tooth started giving me pain while driving to Utah. As soon as I got back in town, Evan's Dental worked to get me in to see them the very next day. We've also *** seen Dr Alexa Crete *** at Evans Dental over the last few months, and are impressed with her gentle, comprehensive, and caring manner for dental evaluation and procedures. Fantastic experience: This was my first time at Evan’s Dental and it was amazing! I had the pleasure of working with Renee, Lisa and Dr. Crete. Everyone was so sweet and very knowledgeable. Dr. Crete eased my anxiety with her kindness and expertise! Dr. Crete took the time to walk through my home dental care and came up with a plan to get my teeth the healthiest they can be. The atmosphere in the dental office was welcoming and positive. I will be recommending everyone here! If I could give more stars I would!

Fantastic experience: My favorite place to go for my teeth!! :) I’ve gone multiple times, this was my first time meeting Dr. Crete (and Amy who cleaned my teeth) ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Both were so kind and made me very comfortable, despite my anxiety when it comes to dealing with my teeth. I truly couldn’t recommend this place more. Amazing group of staff!!! Thank you ladies

Fantastic experience: Oh my! If you are looking for a new dental office, look no further!! From Renée at the front desk to greet you, Maria who took my x-rays, to Dr Emily's exam, there was a complete welcoming and calming atmosphere. They made sure I was comfortable with the whole visit. I do need some dental procedures, but they were NOT pushy about how fast I "had" to have it done. They are conservative with their treatment plan and let you be in the driver's seat. As you can tell, I highly recommend Evans Dental!

Fantastic experience: Evans Dental is great - the dental hygienists are very experienced with people with sensitive teeth. It's the first time in years that I've enjoyed going to the dentist for cleanings!

Negative experience: Office did not confirm my text answer to their " we have a new opening " text. They assumed I was a different patient. Took several minutes to clarify the situation. After that the cleaning was well done

Fantastic experience: I have been going to a Evans Dental for over 30 years. The staff treat you like family, and they take great care of your teeth health . I highly recommend this dental office!!
