Positive experience: The dentist was very knowledgeable and friendly. I felt like he definitely knew what he was doing. The front office staff was not very professional or attentive. I waited 50 minutes for my appointment as I watched other patients come in after me and get seen first. I think the lady forgot to tell the back that I was there. While waiting, though I’m glad the office staff are friends, they were very loud and giggly with one another, to an unprofessional level, in my opinion. On checkout, I was told to take a seat to schedule my next appointment but the office personnel never came to her desk to schedule me. I had to just sit there looking at her gross food and drink cup that were lying out on her desk until another lady final noticed and came over to schedule me.

Fantastic experience: Been going here since I was 10 now im 26. Dr bohn is great. Personable staff and like to joke around as well. Makes accommodations for my sensory issues like sunglasses, letting me listen to music, having my mom in the room when i have work done other than cleanings. As far as pain they try to make things as painful as possible.also with my terrible gag reflex they allow me to spit out xray stuff as soon as i hear the beep

Negative experience: I’m sure the dentists and workers there are great, and do wonderful work! I just didn’t have a great experience myself. The first appointment was supposed to be a cleaning, but as a new patient I got xrays instead, and then was told there wasn’t time for a cleaning, so I was scheduled for a second appointment. I arrived 5 minutes early and stood at the counter for a full 10 minutes before I was acknowledged at all, and then was left in the waiting room for another 20 min. I ended up just leaving because I had to get back to work. I totally understand that busy days happen! However, both experiences felt disrespectful of my time, so will probably go somewhere else to get a cleaning.

Fantastic experience: Madison was our tech on X-Rays and Consultation. She was excellent. Great placement of X-Ray devices so I wasn’t uncomfortable holding them in my mouth. Very happy with her. Dr. Clayton made us confident in my wife and my treatment plan. Looking forward to continuing treatments. I should have a new smile before the New Year. We’re both excited and pleased and glad we chose Confort Dental on College in FoCo.

Fantastic experience: First visit. Staff is very friendly and helpful. My next visit will entail work restoring a broken tooth. I have full confidence in Dr. Bohn. Second visit was just as pleasant as the first. I have to add, it had been many years since my last visit to a dentist. Additionally, I have had a great apprehension throughout my life of dental work of any kind and as a result, I avoided even routine checkups for many years until I absolutely had to have work done, more so to remove bad teeth to the extent that I now only have 12 original teeth, the rest are bridges and a partial. Dr. Bohn is real good at making you feel comfortable and reassuring. His assistant Sammi (sp) was equally helpful in that regard. Long story short, I went through the procedure without any trepidation. I highly recommend Comfort Dental South College for your dental work. I would be remiss if I didn't give their office staff a thumbs up as well!

Fantastic experience: I choose Comfort Dental because the office staff, dental assistants and hygienists are all very friendly and professional and Dr. Bohn is a great dentist, he is very friendly, professional and an expert in his field. He literally rebuilt the teeth inside of my mouth with crowns and I'm so thankful I had serious health problems but now I am back in the game with being able to eat all the foods I need to eat to get healthy. Fantastic experience: We had a great experience from the support during X-rays, to the dentist/doctor to the receptionist helping with expenses. I think the hygienist was new so had not quite figured out all of the nuances of being warm and supportive but really even at that I was grateful for the good care for my dad.

Positive experience: My cleaning went pretty much as usual. Friendly staff, very nice people. I was rather dismayed that i had to completely re register after having just been there 6 months ago..like I was a brand new patient. Then during my cleaning, my head was lower than my body, and came time for a final rinse, water was flooded into my mouth and nose, so much that my shirt was soaked on my back. It was very difficult for me to lunge up from that deeply reclining position with my spinal fusion ..as I was immersed with water and could not get oxygen and the water would not stop. My waving arms and gulps for air gave notice that I could not breathe. I coughed up water from my mouth and nose. For a few moments, it was very terrifying.

Fantastic experience: My only complaint is the lengthy paperwork that was thrust in my face prior to my appointment. I have been going to your office for several years. Why not ask “anything changed”? I don’t think anyone even looked at my paperwork.

Negative experience: They were very nice and fit my mom in, but then never called in her antibiotics and left for the entire weekend. The whole purpose of the visit was to get antibiotics for the infection in her mouth.

Fantastic experience: I had tried two other dental offices before finding Comfort Dental, and I’m so glad I did. From my very first visit, Dr. Clayton made me feel comfortable, safe, and truly heard. He took a semi-conservative approach to my treatment, was extremely transparent about the plan and expected outcome, and never pushed unnecessary work. Sarah and Aspen were just as wonderful—kind, attentive, and great at making the whole process smooth. They even managed to complete a lot of work for me in a short time, and it was the first time in my life I didn’t dread going to the dentist. Top-notch service all around!

Fantastic experience: Went to see Dr Bohn at the Fort Collins office. He was great, took care of all my concerns. Very personable and the office staff were very helpful.

Negative experience: I don't know if it was just because it was late in the day but Dr bohn and the assistant were incredibly rude and aggressive. They cut my cheek and gum in multiple places because of how aggressive they were being, at one point all I could taste is blood because of how many accidental cuts he made and messed up my filling.

Fantastic experience: We belong to comfort dental's gold plan as we don't have dental insurance anymore and this was a good transition. We like Dr. Bohn. He does a thorough job and very efficiently as well. My wife and I are both glad he communicates very well on options we have and he doesn't push for procedures or things that we don't need like some other dentists have done to us in the past.

Negative experience: This place sucks. The assistants are always in a rush. And what’s even the point of setting up an appointment when you are stuck waiting in the waiting room for 30+ plus minutes. Even if you come in 10-20 minutes early, you’ll still be waiting a long period of time. It’s very inconvenient.

Fantastic experience: ⭐ 5-Star Experience! ⭐ I had an appointment today to get a tooth pulled, and I was definitely nervous and a bit scared since I really don’t like having my teeth worked on. But the doctor made me feel completely at ease and much more comfortable throughout the entire process. I’ll definitely be coming back for any future dental work and even teeth whitening! If you’re looking for a dentist, this is absolutely the place to go. They’re quick, efficient, I was probably in and out in under 30 minutes, and the staff is incredibly friendly and professional. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Whatever you do listen to your body! I would rather go through labor than ever experience this kind of mouth pain again! I asked for a tooth to be extracted and Dentist put a cap over an already exposed nerve. I knew it needed to be pulled. He already did a root canal on the other side that landed me in the ER. Haven’t been able to chew for a year on that side and now I have the most painful raging infection that I have to wait to have the tooth extracted. I haven’t ate or slept in 3 days and nothing was given for pain. Sorry but Tylenol ain’t gonna cut it for something this intense. I paid out of pocket for this stupid thing as well as having my insurance billed so they were paid twice. Thank you to Dr Brown who actually listened when I said pull it and didn’t try to argue for the more expensive option.

Negative experience: If you have a choice, choose otherwise. The doc is great and I'd love to see him at his own independent practice but this place is a factory. I've been going here for 10 years because it's my only choice with insurance. I've had good experiences with hygienists, and awful ones, it just depends who you get. My first appointment I was in and out in 15 minutes compared to my last dentist which was easily an hour. The cleanings are generally a joke but again depends on your hygienist. If they paid more or did whatever they need to do to get good people surrounding the doc I would continue going but I am actually looking for a new option now after my latest horrific experience. Also, I know it's 2025 and this is fort Collins but as a man, I don't want a male hygienist with large hands in my mouth. Both of the worst experiences there were when I've gotten men hygienists. Women tend to be much more gentle, thoughtful, and thorough when it comes to cleaning teeth. In summary, doc is great but they need to get rid of the bad hygienists - Just my 2 cents.

Negative experience: Drove all the way from Cheyenne Wy to comfort dental on N college drive . Waited for an hour in the lobby then waited for another 45 mins in the back until the Dr came to see me . And I was only seen for about 15 mins dental assistant was unprofessional rude . Just all around a bad experience for me . The dentist was nice that was the only positive thing I can say about that place . I will not return to that location.

Fantastic experience: I have Medicaid, and had an urgent dental issue including some pain and discomfort. The office squeezed me in same day, even though I had never been here before, and took really great care of me. Not only did they take care of the issue, they did a whole cleaning for me since I was overdue. I’ll be coming back here for my regular dental work now because I felt so welcome and cared for

Fantastic experience: Dr. Arritola and her staff are absolutely incredible! I had to come in for an emergency tooth extraction, and Dr. Arritola was nothing short of amazing. She was quick, efficient, and incredibly kind, which was especially important to me given my past negative experiences with dentists. She created a safe and comfortable environment, and her attentiveness after the extraction was truly remarkable, ensuring I was doing well. What's even more impressive is how quickly she scheduled me to address my other dental needs. With Medicaid, I'm used to being pushed aside, but Dr. Arritola treated me with the utmost respect and care. She went above and beyond by polishing stains off my front teeth, something I was deeply self-conscious about, and I didn't even have to ask! Thanks to Dr. Arritola, I feel completely transformed and confident about my smile and teeth. I cannot recommend her and her wonderful staff highly enough. If you're looking for a dentist who is compassionate, skilled, and truly cares about their patients, look no further!

Fantastic experience: I am always impressed with the customer service that is provided at Comfort Dental on South College. I had molar pain, and they got me in asap . The whole process was smooth . The DA who did the PA and Pano was gentle and explained exactly what he was doing. Dr. Brown referred me to the best oral surgeon in town, and I was able to get in the same day and had my molar removed. My kids go to Comfort Dental as well and have received the best care every time.

Fantastic experience: ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! After half my tooth fell off last night at midnight from a different dentist office shoddy work and that same office refusal to see me till Thursday! Dr. Bohn and his team were gracious enough to see me as soon as their doors opened at 7:30 am by 9am I was home writing this review with my smile back BETTER THAN EVER!!! I don't want to say that i cried but I did, I was so happy!! The team amazing, the Doc amazing, the experience...AMAZING!!! I CAN'T THANK YOU GUYS ENOUGH FOR WHAT YOU DID FOR ME TODAY!!!

Fantastic experience: This office has always been efficient and easy to work with. This time, I had an issue with my insurance going through - they made accommodations for me so that I could get the care I needed that day and leave out of pain.

Fantastic experience: I have to say, I'm very happy with the staff and dentists at this Comfort Dental location. A few weeks ago, I reached out to them as I was experiencing pain after biting down into a carne asada taco (yet ironically, it was tender meat). Fortunately, they were able to see me within two days — which kind of blew me a way — and were able to resolve the problem on the spot...with a root canal. When you hear of root canals, most of us are like, dang, it's gonna be a doozy, but not with Dr. Bohn. He did a great job, in a timely manner, and best of all, it didn't hurt afterwards. Really impressed. Plus, he was pretty cool. What's also impressive is their team — they operate akin to a pit crew, thus working very well with each other in a precise fashion. It actually made me want to step up my own business after seeing how well theirs operated. Lastly, when I was in there today to get a crown fitting, Sam (dental assistant) was very helpful and knowledgeable. Best of all, I didn't gag once while the doc was working on me because Sam was on it, systematically suctioning excessive saliva and debris from my mouth...consistently and thoroughly. Overall, the experience was awesome, especially considering what needed to be done. Moving forward, I have zero fear of going to the dentist, at least this one.

Positive experience: As a new customer, I was pleased with how friendly everyone was. I left with the results I came for and didn’t feel pressured into having work done that I didn’t feel necessary or could afford. Dr. Brown was very friendly and listened to my concerns. My wait was a little longer than I would have liked, but worth it in the long run. I will be returning not feeling dread that I won’t get the help I need. Thank you Comfort Dental.

Fantastic experience: Comfort Dental restored my faith in having solid dentistry, as well as being heard and genuinely cared for. I have gone through three very bad dentists in my life. I found Comfort Dental when another dentist office in town pulled the wrong tooth out(one had my face swollen, the other was just a cavity tooth) and I had to emergency schedule the real tooth to be removed. I continued to fix my oral health through them, Dr. Clayton specifically, and have been consistently taken care of every single visit. I am explained the process when I ask, I am always well taken care of during, never feeling ashamed for previously not taking care of my teeth. They have given me the courage to speak up when I have questions about my teeth again, and confidence when they provide me with thorough answers on why things might need to happen or how. Being scorned from past dentists , it's hard to find trust and profession in a new dentist office. I feel so lucky to have found Comfort Dental. As though I got the wrong tooth pulled at the other place so I could find my correct way here. 10/10 best dentist place

He takes the time to share common interests in medical science technology especially as it relates to calming meditational techniques. This is a bonus for anyone who is intimidated by getting dental work done, such as in the case of "Zen Breathing" to relax. Dr Clayton is also sensitive to my financial constraints in matching specialized dental prosthesis-- and managing loose teeth and gum issues. Negative experience: After reading the reviews on here my husband and I thought surely we would have a great experience, however in the two appointments we have had in the past month we were both disappointed. We recently moved here from out of state and had a great dentist in our old place, so unfortunately this dentist office had a lot to live up to. The staff worker in the front was very friendly and helpful to get our insurance plugged in. They told both my husband and I that we would have x-rays but depending on time they couldn't guarantee a cleaning in the same appointment. It turned out that in fact we did have to schedule a separate time for a cleaning which was honestly frustrating. The person who did the x-rays was very professional, however all of that took less than 30 minutes, so we were confused why they couldn't clean our teeth afterward. When we came back for the cleaning, it took less than 15 minutes and it felt like the quickest cleaning of my life, which made me question how much they actually cleaned my teeth. There was no checking of pockets in the gums and the hygienist said "your gums look great" after looking at my teeth for probably 2 seconds. We did not get a tooth brush at the end of the visit or anything. Overall we felt like it was the cheapest visit and without any obvious problems, they wanted to get us in and out as quickly as possible. We did not feel like the hygienists or dentist really cared about our teeth at all.

Fantastic experience: Jeff Clayton has been taking care of my dental health for years now and is hands down the best dentists that I have ever had. Pleasant demeanor that puts you at ease through the whole process. The entire staff at this location are super professional and treat you like you're family. Can't say enough about how impressed I am by the team at this location.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Bohn and staff are compassionate in difficult situations. They cared for my sister who is disabled, and having just been discharged from rehab, was understandably anxious about seeing the dentist. Her appointment was on-time, and they made her feel comfortable and cared for. I'd recommend Dr. Bohn and Comfort Dental to friends (my family are already patients :)

Positive experience: I have been seeing Dr. Arritola for a number of years now, & she is a great dentist. I have been visiting this office for probably about 10 years. Before Dr. Arritola joined the clinic, I was seeing Dr. Whitlock. However, I actually prefer Dr. Arritola. She really cares about her patients, & really listens to them. I have been extremely satisfied with my care, & she makes visiting the dentist a truly enjoyable experience.

Fantastic experience: I am wheelchair-bound. The office has always accommodated my special needs and make me comfortable while the work is being done such a positive environment to be in staff is very happy and works together. Well Dr. Clayton has been my dentist for 10+ years I would highly recommend this office.

Fantastic experience: My family moves around a lot and I've always chosen comfort dental to be our regular dentist so we have been to several different ones. The one in Ft Collins on South College is by far the best. Dr Clayton is patient and attentive unlike so many others. He takes his time to explain and answer questions. They've helped me so much! Highly recommend this office and Dr Clayton!

Negative experience: The experience overall was a 2/10. I went into this office instead of my normal office because I had an emergency situation with my tooth. I had extreme pain to the point I almost went to the hospital. I gave them a 2/10 just because they got me in on time. However the dental aid was extremely rude to me and didn’t seem to care about the discomfort I was in. Had to ask the staff to numb me 3 times before they actually did it. And that was only at the end of my visit. Not a good experience with a dental group especially when you’re in pain. Shame on you guys. Don’t settle. Don’t go here.

Fantastic experience: I've always had a pretty strong fear of the dentist ever since I was small, but Comfort Dental has been seriously amazing and potentially helped cure me of my dental office fears! My dentist is always so kind, gentle, and considerate, and my tech Sarah did a fantastic job on my fillings. I genuinely cannot recommend this office enough, especially since they're one of the few offices that take Medicaid and still treat their patients with gentleness and respect. A huge thank you to everything you guys do, it feels so good to know I don't have to stress about cavities and dental health anymore!

Fantastic experience: I had a tooth that cracked but was not in pain. I made an appointment and they called me when they had a cancelation the very next day. I went in and they fixed my tooth in 20 minutes. I'm so happy with the results and the caring teem that made this possible! Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: Hi, all appointments I have had and my family from the start and ongoing have been perfect. We have not one complaint ! From the front desk - check in to check out and inbetween. All are very kind our dentist explains all info in detail. We do thank you all and look forward to seeing you very soon. Negative experience: Super disappointed. I called to ask if they see children for root canals. The receptionist said she checked with the doctor and he said yes, they would see my son. When we brought him in for the evaluation they completed the eval but said they do not see children for root canals. I specifically asked about this when I called so it was a huge waste of time. Be transparent when people call. Parents have to take time off work and excuse kids from school for appointments like this so please don’t waste our time and money.
