Didn't feel appointment was rushed. First treatment scheduled and my spouse booked his first consultation as well. Actually looking forward to my first treatment. Will recommend to all my family and friends as our current dentist is retiring soon.

Fantastic experience: I love this dental office. The staff is absolutely wonderful and understanding. They care about the patients and it shows as soon as a patient walks in the office. The office set up is wonderful and it is very clean. I see Dr. Sibirtsev, she is fabulous and has a wonderful sense of humor. She works so wonderfully with her assistant and they always make me laugh. I had problems with my teeth from early childhood on and do not volunteer to see a dentist. She cares and makes it less scary to get dental work done. Dr. Sibirtsev always explains every step before she starts on my teeth. I can only recommend this office to everyone. I'm very happy that I took a chance to make an appointment when I needed a new dentist .

Fantastic experience: The quality of their care is excellent. Dr. Hartman and her staff are professionals, accommodating, and welcome everyone with a warm smile. The clinic is modern and conveniently located off Jefferson Ave. Ample parking is available. The patient waiting area is spacious and never crowded. I can not recall having to wait more than five minutes to be seen for my scheduled appointment. I definitely recommend Hartman Denistry to anyone seeking professional, family-friendly, personalized dental care.

The dental hygienist was efficient and very attentive checking on me often to ensure I was okay. The dentist was thorough with the cleaning, she explained my needs and referred me to an orthodontist for specialized treatment. I was in and out much faster than expected. Fantastic experience: This was my first visit. I left the dental practice I had been going to for over 50 years due to insurance issues. Hartman's office is bright and clean. The staff is friendly, caring and professional. I felt well cared for from the moment I walked in the door.

Negative experience: The staff here were friendly, but overall this just wasn’t a great experience for me. When I scheduled as a new patient, I specifically asked if I’d be able to get a cleaning at my first appointment and was told yes. I arrived early for my appointment, but still waited about 30–40 minutes past my scheduled time to be called back. After they took x-rays and photos, I was then told they actually don’t do cleanings for new patients and that the visit was only a consultation, which was frustrating since that’s not what I was told when scheduling. I also found out they currently only have one hygienist, and the soonest cleaning appointment available was 4–5 months out. During the appointment, the dentist told me I needed multiple fillings and prescribed high-fluoride toothpaste. What concerned me was that I wasn’t shown the x-rays or walked through why those fillings were necessary. It felt more like I was just being told I needed the work done rather than having an actual conversation about it. Since I go to the dentist regularly every six months and usually don’t have any issues, it honestly raised a red flag for me. I decided to get a second opinion, and the second dentist only found one very small area that might eventually need a filling. They did not find any other areas that they felt needed fillings (and said those areas likely would not turn into cavities with continued good dental care). And then further explaining that if I would get fillings in those areas they would be removing more healthy tooth just to get to a tiny area that doesn’t need to be removed anyways. What really rubbed me the wrong way was that after I requested my x-rays for the second opinion, my appointments for the fillings and cleaning were canceled by the office. Maybe they assumed I was transferring permanently (though I was not asked), and it just left me feeling like they cancelled because I wanted a second opinion. Again, everyone was polite, and I’m sure some people may have a good experience here. It just felt much more aggressive treatment-wise than what I’m personally comfortable with, so I decided not to continue care there.

Negative experience: I am writing to formally report an incident that occurred during my visit today. This was my first appointment at your office as a new patient for a routine dental cleaning. As I was leaving the office, I asked about the status of my dental records from my previous dentist to confirm whether they had been received. A staff member named Sherrie was assisting me and was very helpful in trying to determine whether my records had been sent or where they might be. During this conversation, another receptionist interrupted us. She was a Latina woman with a heavy accent whose name I requested but was refused. She became loud and disrespectful during the interaction and repeatedly referred to me as “you people.” I politely asked several times to be addressed by my name instead, but she continued using that phrase. When I asked for her name so that I could report the incident, she stated, “I don’t care if you report me to the President. You people I don’t like.” I found this comment extremely inappropriate and concerning, particularly in a medical setting where patients should be treated with professionalism and respect. I asked to speak with the office manager, Mr. Hartman, but was told that he was not available. The receptionist also refused to provide her name and instructed Sherrie not to give me her name either. I have never experienced this level of unprofessional behavior from front desk staff at a medical facility. Patients should feel comfortable asking questions about their medical records, especially when they are new to a practice. Being spoken to in this manner and repeatedly referred to as “you people” was upsetting and unacceptable. I would appreciate this matter being reviewed and addressed appropriately. Thank you for your time and attention to this concern.

Fantastic experience: This was my first new patient visit with Dr. V. Hartman. I was welcomed as soon as I entered the office and check in was quick as I had pre done paperwork. After a small wait Dr. Hartman's assistant...Mary, came and got me and introduced herself and led me to the dental chair room. She then proceeded to look at my health and medication records and explained everything that would be happening today. She did a quick mouth check and then proceeded to take all the xrays Dr. Hartman had ordered for me as a new patient. She was gentle and talked me through everything she needed me to do and never rushed me. After she was done, she told me what Dr. Hartman would do next and went and got her to do my dental exam. Dr. Hartman introduced herself and asked a few questions then proceeded to examine my mouth. She then took more photos of my teeth and checked me for oral cancer screening. She was gentle and efficient in doing what she needed to do. I never felt any pain or discomfort. She then explained all my xrays and her findings and came up with a treatment plan for me. I need 3 fillings, a cleaning & a extraction. She explained see needed to consult another dentist regarding my extraction and would get back with me about how to proceed with that particular tooth. In the mean time we will focus on the fillings & cleaning. Then Mary, took me back out to the front desk where they gave me a copy of my treatment plan and estimates of what my insurance will pay and what I would have to pay. They set up my future appointments for the fillings and cleaning and gave me copies of everything I needed. Front desk staff were pleasant, helpful and knew what they were doing. The whole visit just flowed so easy. The staff there was inviting and pleasant. The office and dental room was immaculate in appearance and very professional. It was a excellent experience and I look forward to returning to Dr. Hartman for my dental needs. As a first time patient to this practice I was quite impressed. Can easily give them a A+ for this visit. I would recommend Dr. Hartman if you are in need of dental care.

Mary is super personable, kind, and funny and totally made my day even though it was 8 am and I was tired. Hope I get to see her every time I come in! Nicole also did great on my cleaning on another visit. They also took the time to fill in a small chip on my front tooth instead of just opting to shave it down, as other dentists told me was the only option. I really appreciate the time and care they take with patients! Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: As a first-time patient at Hartman Dentistry, I did not know what to expect. But as soon as I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the reception staff, which was a good sign. After I completed the paperwork I was informed that someone would be with me shortly. Several minutes later, Michelle (Hygienist), came out front and called my name. Michelle simply extended the welcome I received when I arrived. Michelle thoroughly explained the process to me, and went on to provide me with a great dental experience - and she threw in some important suggestions for me to enhance my hygiene habits. Overall, I had a great experience at Hartman Dentistry!!! But do not take my word for it. Come and see for yourself!!!

I was very nervous and they were able to ease my nerves, and any time I started to feel pain, they would apply more numbing agent (not sure what it was but it helped a great deal). Fantastic experience: The I met with Dr Hartman and the hygienist. The doctor checked my wear pattern and condition of teeth. She made recommendations. Then the hygienist xrayed and consulted with the doctor.. the hygienist finished by cleaning and removing plac. She made recommendations for fluoride and mouthwash with neutral Ph. The hygienist also completed a full medical file of items that might affect my dental health. Everyone was courteous and helpful. A great dental practice.

Negative experience: Do not come here. I had an appointment in September of 2022, my insurance paid for the appointment in full at the time services were rendered. Come September of 2024 I get a call from Vanessa saying that I had a balance of $212 from TWO YEARS AGO. I was very confused so I called the office and spoke to a man whose name I did not get but he told me to disregard the bill because they were having issue with their billing (as stated in a couple other reviews) and I do not owe anything. It’s now January of 2025 and Sharon reaches out to me to say I now owe $162. I’ve never had an issue with my insurance at any dentist I’ve been to EVER. It seems like they just want a check or something because both Vanessa and Sharon said they’ll discount my bill if I pay today… lol okay. Spare yourself and just go elsewhere!

Fantastic experience: My spouse and I have just recently started seeing Dr Hartman. So far we are both impressed with her and her staff. We’ve had great visits for cleanings and we’ve both needed crowns. The process was easy and painless as possible. When my temporary crown came out (completely my fault) they got me in that same morning and fixed it. We highly recommend Dr Hartman’s practice if you are looking for a dentist.
