Fantastic experience: I have been coming here for a few years now and have not had any problems. Dr. David is the dentist I have been using the entire time with no complaints. There was a period of time where he was doing the work of both hygienist and dentist which was a little odd, but it didn't bother me one way or another, so no questions were asked. The care was what you would expect nothing more less. The receptionists are pleasant both when entering and leaving. This last appointment I did have a new hygienist who performed her duties as expected. I am pleased with the care I have received and will continue to be a patient for the foreseeable future.

Fantastic experience: The Best Dentist Experience I've Ever Had I have had some dental anxiety in the past, but since coming to this practice it has completely gone away. Everything has been more comfortable, more quiet, more calm. Also more professional, as my dentist always says exactly what he is doing as he does it - my previous dentists explained a few things before hand but not while they were working, and I had one previous dentists who would just chat away with the hygienist about stuff that was definitely TMI while filling cavities. I haven't had any of that here. I also feel that the risk and benefits of various procedures have been well explained to me, and I haven't felt pressured to do anything. I had one filling since coming to this practice, and it was the most comfortable one I've had, and probably the quickest too.

Fantastic experience: This office is wonderful. I have never had a bad experience, I have been coming to see Dr. Jacobs for the last 15 years or so. Dr. Jacobs is the best. The office staff is amazing as well. First appointment for a 3 year old was 100% better than our experience at Yorktown Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Thaw and the hygienist were so patient, kind, and caring. My little one won't stop talking about how much she liked the dentist!

Fantastic experience: I went to Link, Jacobs & Link for the first time. It was the best dental experience I have had in decades. I had gone to a BIG dental practice on the south side for 30 years. It was OK. I liked the hygienist. But the treatment rooms were small and windowless. I felt like my feet were almost touching the wall. At Link, the treatment rooms are spacious. AND you get to look out of a window! That alone made such a difference in the whole experience. There was tons of natural light. It was quite pleasant. My new dentist was Dr. Thaw. She was awesome. Very knowledgeable, very pleasant. The front office staff were all super competent. That was a problem I had with the mega-dentist practice I used to go to. The office staff seemed like they were herding cattle. They had many dozens, probably hundreds of patients they were dealing with per day. They were young and inexperienced. At Link Jacobs, the staff were not as hurried, and were quietly good at what they did. I am so glad I found Link, Jacobs & Link!!

Fantastic experience: I had yet another excellent professional dental visit today at Link, Jacob's, & Link. All members of this practice are courteous, professional and caring including support staff members. That type of excellent dental service has been the norm for my many visits over many years. I highly recommend checking them out if you need dental services.

Fantastic experience: I started when it was just the “old man, Acree”. In 1984, Dr Jacobs joined his Father-in-law. I’ve moved around a bit and changed other doctors, but have remained a loyal patient of Dr. Jacobs. He is awesome. While I will be disappointed when Dr. Jacobs retires, I have no doubt the doctors they have selected to continue their legacy will be excellent.

Negative experience: I’ve been a pt of Dr Mike Link for a few years and was pleased being under his care. However, when Dr Mike left and Dr David took over his pt’s I felt I would be in the same “good” honest hands, this was not the case. My last visit earlier this year, was my last visit with this practice. My regular hygienist Lori had left and the practice had no hygienist whatsoever for practically one year, so Dr David did my cleaning. Which, by the way, was possibly the poorest cleaning I’ve ever received and he did not even thoroughly clean my teeth, he had someone else do the polishing. This person who did the polishing was horrendous at this procedure, she kept hitting my teeth with the tool, where I thought she would chip my teeth. She clearly was not qualified to do this. Additionally, Dr David told me I needed to have a tooth crowned and recommended doing it sooner than later. I was suspicious of this advice, so I did not schedule an appointment to have this done. In the meanwhile I did see another Dentist at Oyster Point Smiles, I had an outstanding ultrasonic regular cleaning, X-rays, panoramic included, and a device that performs a 3D scanning of each individual tooth. Afterwards I was seen by the Dentist, who explained to me that not only are my teeth & gums in excellent shape, I’m 70 yo, but all of my teeth are absolutely sound, no cracks, fissures, anything that would require a crown. I’d like to add, this Dentist practice at Oyster Point Smiles is light years ahead of the technology used at Link, Jacob’s, & Link. As a Registered Nurse I expect great quality care of the highest standard & honesty, bc that is how I treat every single patient of mine. Sadly, I feel Dr David does not provide this, as he wanted to crown a thoroughly healthy tooth at a cost of several hundred dollars I might add. I’m quite disappointed at this practice, bc Dr Mike always reassured me, he would never do anything on someone’s teeth that he wouldn’t want done himself. I guess his motto went out the window when he left.

She got straight to work on my teeth and asked if i was doing okay which goes a long way with me. I recommend this place 10/10!! Random but you can see outside while there cleaning your teeth I personally thought that was nice.

She was very thorough and careful not to cause me pain. Sorry I can’t remember her name. She did a crown for me last year when I had given up hope for the tooth and was going to have it pulled. Negative experience: I had an extremely disappointing and upsetting experience at Link, Jacobs & Link, DDS, PC due to the unprofessional and condescending behavior of their receptionist, Bethany. I already struggle with severe anxiety when it comes to dental visits, especially after a previous negative experience elsewhere. Despite my nerves, I went in for my appointment hoping for a more positive experience. Unfortunately, after my appointment, I became overwhelmed with emotion and was trying to stop my tears while looking out the door. Instead of showing even the slightest empathy or professionalism, Bethany acted visibly agitated, rolling her eyes, shaking her head, and even calling me rude simply for being upset. Even after I apologized for crying, her attitude only worsened. When I asked her to complete my referral paperwork so I could leave, she responded in an unnecessarily hostile and sarcastic way, throwing her hands up and saying, “You doing this or am I?” with an exaggerated tone, as if I had caused her a personal inconvenience. The way she treated me made an already difficult moment even worse, and it was clear that she had no interest in treating patients with kindness or respect. No patient should be made to feel belittled or embarrassed, especially in a healthcare setting where compassion should be a priority. Bethany’s behavior was completely unacceptable, and I hope the office takes this complaint seriously. If you struggle with anxiety or expect to be treated with basic respect, I would strongly reconsider visiting this office.

Fantastic experience: This was my first experience with Laurie (?) as a dental hygienist. She was excellent. She has a very positive work environment. She did an excellent job cleaning my teeth - pain free. I would definitely recommend her and Dr. David.

Negative experience: My wife was scared to attend her appointment 11 Jan 23 at 1215 and asked me to mediate for her, as english is not her first language. I asked to speak with a dentist due to my wife's experience, and was immediately met with resistance by the receptionist named Bethany. She would not even allow me to finish my entire concern before she began to cut me off and speak over me. I allowed her to suck me into a discussion, as I was already upset with the unprofessional treatment that my wife complained about. The receptionist decided to handle the complaint announcing that my 'wife has periodontal disease' and that is why she left her previous appointment in pain. We had never been consulted about this in the prior 3 visits. However, my initial concerns of unprofessionalism were immediately confirmed by the behavior of the receptionist who said her name is Bethany. She is in need of fundamental instruction into the duties and responsibilities of a receptionist. She is not a dentist, and is not qualified to diagnose anything. She should not have spoke to me about an issue that did not involve her. She should have recieved the information and distributed it to a qualified person who was authorized to handle the complaint/concern. I waited over an hour to speak to a dentist, but never was given the opportunity. It is not unreasonable to inquire as to why your wife recieved poor treatment after waiting almost six months for a cleaning. If you want to be made to suffer and then humiliated and blamed for it by an individual at the front desk then this place is for you. We never intend to return. Postscript: don't be confused by my Google handle. I am very real. 'Bethany' can tell you.

Fantastic experience: Used this dentist for the first time on 12/13/23, because my old dentist’s office wouldn’t answer my phone calls. This office was booked out until May for cleanings, but they managed to fit me in early when another customer cancelled. I was very impressed by the thorough cleaning the hygienist did, and the dentist was personable. Great job, keep up the good work!
