Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience at my first appointment with Dr. Barnes and her assistant Shae. I’ll admit I came in a little nervous because my dental care growing up was somewhat inconsistent, but they immediately made me feel comfortable and at ease. Dr. Barnes took the time to explain everything clearly and walked me through what she was seeing with my teeth without making me feel embarrassed or overwhelmed. I really appreciated the thoughtful and conservative approach she recommended — focusing on strengthening my enamel and addressing a few small issues rather than jumping straight to aggressive treatments. Shae was also incredibly kind and reassuring throughout the visit, which made the whole experience even better. I left feeling informed, encouraged, and confident about the plan moving forward. It’s clear this office truly cares about their patients and long-term dental health. I’m very grateful to have found a dentist I can trust !

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to many dentists in the area over the past ten years between changing insurance providers and not being happy with the dental care providers. I feel like I finally found an office that I’m super happy with. They are so professional and friendly. They never try to sell me things or recommend procedures that I don’t need. I feel like they’re really straight up with me. The office is clean and I never have to wait a long time for my appointment. My dental hygienist is awesome and both Dr. Kim and Dr. Barnes are great! (I haven’t met Dr. Cash yet.) Everything about my experiences there have made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. I would definitely recommend this practice to others.

Fantastic experience: I was kind of skeptical when I first walked in but once the dentist assistant came to get me She was so nice and she actually explained everything she was about to do and kept asking was I okay.. My dentist she is very young but she is so knowledgeable and didn't judge me because I had six cavities lol... This office is very high tech 100 times better than my other dentist office if you looking for a new dentist Riverview Family dentistry is the place to go.

Fantastic experience: I am a new patient delighted to report that my experience has been excellent. This my third visit. First was for initial examination which was thorough, informative, and led to an excellent treatment plan. My second and third visits were for deep scaling. Dr Kim did a great job and the techs that supported her were great, too. Best of all, the treatment was painless. I highly recommend Riverview Family Dentistry.

Fantastic experience: I called the office because I lost a filling out of front tooth. They worked me in, not immediately because I told them I was in no pain, but I was seen after waiting only one day. Dr Kim was wonderful as well as Yasmine. They took an xray, determined what was needed and did the filling immediately. I was done within an hour. Very pleased

Positive experience: My experience is that it's way different than the dentist appointment I used to go to. I do like how I was able to understand how I need to be extra careful when brushing my teeth. This experience is very helpful for me when I get older in the future and to make sure I always take care of my teeth at all times and avoid any cavities possible.

Fantastic experience: I love Riverview Family Dentistry. My hygenist Nicole is very thorough and sensitive to my dental concerns. Dr. Cash and Dr. Barnes are both smart and have great up to date equipment and skills. The office is clean and bright. I would highly recommend this practice.

Negative experience: I have had a terrible experience. I would not recommend going here. I was supposed to be a new patient as I have just moved to this city. I had booked my appointment and sent over my insurance cards plus completed my forms to get my X-rays. I never was informed that my old X-rays were not received and my appointment was not set in stone. I used PTO when I could have went to work. I called today as well and the receptionist did not care or try to put me on the books again. I now have to find another new provider and wait again. I don’t understand why I couldn’t have also received new X-rays if my old dental office did not send them in.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this place. I was struggling to find a good dentist in the area but stumbled upon this place after I had a bad experience somewhere else. They quickly checked me in and got me seated to get my cleaning done right away. The dental hygienist was amazing and explained everything she did. She was very thorough and I truly appreciated the care that was put into this. I’ve never had such detailed x-rays done before and the gums checked so thoroughly. All of my questions were answered with care and everything was very quick and to the point without judgement. The place is also very clean and professional. Overall, it’s an absolutely amazing place to get dental work done because they can help you get work done that’s covered by insurance and take extra care of your teeth.

Fantastic experience: Check-in was simple and I was promptly taken to the exam room. The cleaning went well and I was out in 30 minutes. See ya in 6 months.

Fantastic experience: My first time visit to this place and they did a great job. Got there at 215 for a 230 appt got back in room at 225 was out of there by 330. Got X-rays a cleaning and inspection from a dentist. I'd recommend to anyone. Thank you

Fantastic experience: The best...careful attention given to patients. A practice with a long history of excellence. I've been a patient for over 50 years, and have always received the highest quality dental care. The new innovations the practice has invested in shows how interested the practice is in providing quality care. I now see Dr. Barnes, and she and her assistant are sooo nice and eager to make patients comfortable. I'm 79 and still have all the "choppers" I had when I first sat in Dr. Monty's chair in the 70's. Nuff said!

Fantastic experience: Very professional, competent dentist and staff. The best I've encountered in over 40 years. Takes the time to assure what you desire is accomplished. The words I heard her use when speaking to her staff, while I was in the chair was, "I want everything to be perfect". You will be challenged to find a better dentist and staff, period.

Negative experience: I really did not want to write this review. But really at wits end. I went early this year 2025 to get my two front teeth replaced with crowns. Dr. Barnes did a great job matching the color and shape of teeth. She did have a issue getting permanent crowns to fit. She went to ask head Dentist for assistance, but she eventually got them in. I let her know that it felt like the teeth had something between them. She advised me that it would wear off once they loosened up. I have been back twice for follow up and my teeth still feel like something is stuck between them. One of the tooth i can wiggle some also. I asked the office can we just replace them and do them over, or just one. They said I would have to pay to get them done over, because they do not see anything wrong. They offered to file between my teeth, but I do not think I should have to file to get relief. It is very disheartening. Also, very irritating to feel this uncomfortable everyday. I contacted my Insurance and the VA Dental Board, I have to get another Dentist to replace them to file a claim for my insurance to reimburse me. Dr. Barnes and all the employees are very kind and courteous. I have referred them to other people looking for Dentistry. I just do not know if this is just a one off. I am sorry about this review.

Fantastic experience: I had a very painful tooth ache and they were able to get me right in. Turns out it will have to be pulled, so they referred me to a specialist for that. In the meantime I was given a prescription for antibiotics which has helped greatly with the pain. I am very pleased with the service they provide.

Fantastic experience: It has been several years since I had seen Dr. Cash after she moved into this new office location. Dentists can be the dreaded visit and in my case, it was the avoidance of the chair with the looming light. When I walked into the lobby, it was peaceful, inviting minus the aroma that can sometimes be associated with dental offices. The hygienist was very knowledgeable and most reassuring throughout the X-ray and cleaning process. And as before, Dr. Cash presented the prescriptive and corrective plan in her soft-spoken manner! From beginning to end, I cannot express with words enough good about the entire process! THANK YOU to this dental team!

Negative experience: Had major pain starting Friday night. Called Saturday and got drs numbers for emergency and never got a call back. Been going there for years when Dr Martin ran it. Not so happy with them now.

Negative experience: Receptionist was extremely unprofessional and rude. she forgot to call me back twice .. i called the office around 9am I was told by her to fill out a consent form and that she call me back to schedule an appointment. An hour went by and i did not receive a form. When i called back she informed me that she forgot to send it. Then she sent it and mispell my email which is my first and last name. So i called back and resed my email to her and then she told me she will call me in an hour after she receives my x rays.. i waited until 2:30 to call the dentist office and the receptionist was so lost.. she didnt even check her computer to see that i signed the consent form to receive my xrays. I was practically doing her job for her and she seem lime she didnt care.. i told her if i was a burden i will find someelse. Her exact words were, i didnt check to see if you sign the consent form but if you want to go somewhere else well go somewhere else. Ita ao hard to find good help these days.
