Fantastic experience: This office, from talking with admin., to the hygienist, and Dr. is fantastic! Reading the negative reviews, I hope people remember that there are 2 sides to every story and know that people can be very harsh when unhappy even if they are the ones in the wrong. Miles of Smiles is clean, efficient, and have an amazing team. Dr. Byron is the best!

Negative experience: I loved this place. They were amazing but I got multiple fillings done not even a year ago. I noticed it hurt to eat anything harder than a slice of bread and I thought it was healing but my friend who worked at a dentist said there is no healing with fillings. I haven’t been able to eat anything hard or it hurts super bad if it pokes the “filling”. Since the fillings (again, not even a year ago) they have all fallen out and there are wholes. It still hurts to eat anything! Very annoyed and disappointed

Negative experience: The new owners of this spot are terrible. We started going there because they had Saturday appointments, they stopped those. Fine, whatever. We then got told today 4.27, that we had to change our Friday appointment to either weds 4.29 or wait until October. I kept being told there was nothing they can do. What a clown show.

Fantastic experience: Been a patient here for a while now, and just met the new dentist of the practice Dr. Byron, and he is phenomenal! Very friendly, personable, and ensures my full understanding of recommended treatment without being pushy. Very happy with my experience here and with the new doctor.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to miles of smiles for a little while. Recently they have had to shift my appointments around. Each time they called and were very accommodating for my schedule. Big thanks to the admin staff for reaching out and making it work for me. You don’t always get that with other dentists. Some dentists have a take it or leave it schedule. But not here they go above and beyond to make it work. Thank you. Just wanted to update this review. Same score but man Dr. Byron is the best. What a great doctor.he spent the time going on the work I may need in the future and broke it down for me on what’s needed now and what will be needed in the future. Never had a more enjoyable experience. Super happy with him.

Negative experience: I had to change dentist for the same reason others mentioned . It is a shame when you go to a place over 10 years and have to let it go. Highly recommend going somewhere else, not here.

Negative experience: I am unsure what happened within the last few years or so, but I unfortunately am switching practices as the negatives have now outweighed the benefits. I have been a patient for years, I want to say at least 10. Within the last year or so, I have had numerous appointments canceled by the practice due to various unknown reasonings (I just had my cleaning scheduled this week canceled yesterday due to "schedule change"). Which I can see others have experienced the same. Mind you, the cleaning before this was also canceled last minute, with the new offered appointment being months away due to scheduling. Additionally, the last two cleanings I have had I have not seen an actual dentist. After my cleaning I was told by the hygienist my teeth "look good" and I was on my way. I tried to stick it through as long as I could, as the hygienists have always been great there, however the unorganized scheduling, come and go staffing, it is just not worth it anymore. It is a shame because the location itself was great and convenient.

Negative experience: This used to be a great place pre 2024. I used to go there but had to leave in 2024 because they didn’t take my insurance anymore. My children however still went there as of noon 2/17/26. What broke the camels back is last week, I got a call the day of my twins appointment saying they had to cancel the appointment due to the dentist calling off. Ok kinda ridiculous but I let it go. Today I got a text trying to confirm an appointment for my oldest two. My daughter has the flu so I kindly called in to reschedule. The man that answered didn’t say miles of smiles or anything when answering. I said, hello I need to reschedule my kids appointment for Friday.” He goes, “you didn’t get the text?” I replied “what text.” He goes, “we had to let Dr Scott go.” I laughed and said, “ you don’t have a single other dentist?” He goes, “no.” First off, how do you have a dentist office and not a single dentist? Sounds like it’s a place that’s poorly managed and about to close. At least they will be busy transferring my kids records because we won’t be back. If you’re reading this run away. Find a homeless guy to do your dental cleaning. At least he’ll keep the appointment.

Fantastic experience: Good that dentist Scott Schmidhauser is not in this office anymore! I will come back. That doctor better not to work with people. And seems he gave this office a bad review himself, what a miserable. But probably better for the community keep him away from human beings.

Negative experience: Dirty office with old equipment, they reschedule you constantly, every time I come here everyone is new. Horrible billing practices and dishonest management. I don’t recommend this office if you care about your oral health

Negative experience: The dentist I had today was terribly rough. When he went to numb the tooth area in my mouth, he put his hand in my mouth and then grabbed the rest of my face really hard and pulled it away from my mouth. The pain in my face was awful. I felt like he treated me like I wasn’t even human. I am 50 years old and I have never had a dentist do that to my face. It was enough for me to change dentists.

Negative experience: My daughter had an appointment scheuled for 12/13 (scheduled 6 months ago) I recived a text message on 12/6 confirming the appointment, Today 12/9 I received a new text stating they will no longer have Saturday appointments and I will need to reschedule. When I called the office I was told 1pm during the week is the latest appointment time they can give me unless I want to wait until "really far" into the new year. This is so unprofessional. I find it hard to believe they only knew 4 days in advance that they will no longer have Saturday appointments. If they had kept the already scheduled appointments and didn't take anymore when I was trying to book my next appointment I would have been fine with this. But the way they handled it is very wrong.

Negative experience: I would given this place a zero star if I could. You would probably get better service at a gentle dental or aspen than this place. I have been a dental assistant for 17 years and I have never seen an office more unorganized. They had the wrong phone number for me…had my husbands instead of mine. I was only going into the office for a cleaning. Front desk did not confirm my insurance information (it changed since the last appt) told me I had to pay upfront. I asked what insurance and they couldn’t tell me. I have always paid my bills before I leave. And in the dental industry you can have a bill after insurance so I understand that. But I only go for cleanings which are cover by my insurance. So very straight forward. Then it took them almost 30 minutes to verify my new insurance and there was no othrr patients in office or in chairs. They continued to say I had a balance and I told them to print it and they “couldn’t” then they tell me it’s my husbands balance…..what’s that have to do with me? They wanted me to pay his balance before they would see me. That is not how things go in ANY dental office. Also….you will never get the same Dr when you go in…they are always changing. And now not even the same hygienist. One Dr told me I needed a ton of dental work…the others said no. Again I work in a dental office and get my teeth checked all the time. I work for a root canal specialist so we don’t have a hygienist in office. They told my husband that he needed all this work he did not need done. We would only go for cleanings because my office is in MA and I know all the dentist in the area but too far to go for just a cleaning. DO NOT go here.

Fantastic experience: First time at this business and I was pleasantly impressed. People were friendly and seemed knowledgeable and competent.

Negative experience: I have been a patient here along with my whole family even before miles of smiles took the practice over. Lately they have canceled appointments on us days before we were supposed to go in. Also you have a different person cleaning your teeth each time which is absolutely unacceptable this practice is horrible and my family will be transferring to a new dentist ASAP.

The doctor is gentle and treats you like family, only recommending treatments when absolutely necessary to ensure you leave with a smile you love. I used to dread going to the dentist, but this office has completely changed that for me—it's a comfortable and pleasant environment. They are also great with appointment reminders and flexible when scheduling changes are needed. I've never encountered any issues here, and I’m thrilled to continue my dental care at Miles of Smiles. Negative experience: I am going elsewhere for my family’s dental care, and I would recommend you do, too. We have had problem after problem with this clinic (appointments canceled last minute, not sending us request requested paperwork for HSA reimbursement, not providing adequate justification for insurance to cover care) but they are quick to make sure they get your credit card info! That being said, our hygienist was good.

Fantastic experience: I have never been disappointed with Miles of Smiles. I have been coming here for many years and haven't noticed a change in patient care or quality when Dr Samaan sold the practice. The admin staff is warm and friendly, my hygienist is professional and kind, and the Dr is funny and eases my anxiety. Best Dental office in Londonderry!

Negative experience: Terrible customer service. This office hasn’t been the same since Dr. Samaan Muhenad sold the business. Appointment cancellations without notification, and just poor office support. It’s a total clown show that should be avoided. Update: Response to the “owner” comment on 9/18. You do a horrible job notifying customers when the office elects to cancel an appointment. It’s happened twice in two years. When I arrived for my last appointment, upon arrival I was abruptly told my appointment was canceled. There was no text canceling, only a text confirmation 24hrs before my scheduled appointment. Meanwhile, you are taking other customers for cleanings. Total business as usual. It’s a shame what a clown show this office has become in such a short time. Great work!

Negative experience: I have been a patient at Miles of Smiles for over five years, faithfully coming for my cleanings and trusting the care I received. During that time, I have declined x-rays on several occasions — and never once was I told that x-rays were a requirement for routine cleanings. That suddenly changed at my most recent visit, when I was told I would not be seen at all unless I agreed to x-rays I could not afford. Instead of working with me as a long-standing patient, they flatly refused to provide care and left me without treatment. What makes this more troubling is that the American Dental Association (ADA) clearly states that patients have the right to informed consent — and that includes the right to decline recommended procedures. Dentists are ethically obligated to respect patient autonomy, explain risks and alternatives, and not abandon established patients. By refusing to clean my teeth simply because I declined an additional, unaffordable service, this office chose profit and convenience over patient care. The result? I am now without dental care, at increased risk for preventable oral health problems, and with a deep loss of trust in a practice I once relied on. Patient abandonment undercuts the very foundation of healthcare ethics, and it is profoundly disappointing to see a dental office put policies and revenue above the well-being of the people they are supposed to serve. If you value compassion, transparency, and respect for your rights as a patient, I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere.

Negative experience: This place has to be the worst - their billing is terrible - trying to charge me for what should be a contractual write off per my insurance. My insurance told me that they billed for services that did not happen. I reached out to the dentist directly he stated he would talk to the office manager. I got another bill in the mail called and spoke with the office manager, who refused to give me her name, stated that the insurance is wrong and we owe the bill - I tried to explain that they were wrong, she stated o well, you will be sent to collections your owe it . We do not owe it and will not be paying it! I will be reporting this place to the insurance commissions office for fraud in addition to the AG's office Avoid this place !!!!! ****************** I heard from the office manager and am very happy to share that this situation was resolved. Negative experience: I scheduled an emergency appointment just to be seen for 10 minutes and referred elsewhere that *could possibly* have availability in 3 days. The dentist told me he's too busy to schedule an extraction with me and the place he referred me to should honor the price I was quoted. When I called the day before to schedule the emergency appointment, the receptionist was so kind and made it seem like they could help treat me, not just tell me what's wrong. Waste of time and money. Also they basically prolonged my pain considering I could've gone somewhere that could have treated me if they just told me from the beginning that he was "too busy".

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient of Dr. Farah at Miles of Smiles for a little over two years now, and I can’t say enough good things about the care I’ve received. From the moment I stepped into the office, I was impressed by how warm, professional, and welcoming the entire team is. The office is always spotless, modern, and runs smoothly — I never feel like I’m waiting around or being rushed through an appointment. Over the past two years, I’ve had routine cleanings, a crown, and completed Invisalign treatment, and I’ve had a great experience with each. Dr. Farah is extremely thorough, takes the time to explain everything, and genuinely cares about long-term dental health. She made sure I felt comfortable and informed every step of the way, especially during the Invisalign process, which completely transformed my smile! I’m so glad I found this practice — it’s rare to find a dental office that feels both highly professional and truly patient-centered. Highly recommend Dr. Farah and her team at Miles of Smiles!

Positive experience: I definitely recommend this place. The staff is friendly. The location is convenient. I recommend you pick one dentist there, and see him or her all the time; sometimes if you see different ones, communication and coordination between them may not be the best. But they are all good ones.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful!! I’m petrified of the dentist due to a traumatic experience when I was a child. I have anxiety and cry every time I have had a dental a procedure. The staff listened to me and respected my fear of going to the dentist. I made it through my filling for the first time in over 30 years with no tears. I went in prepared for a root canal. Walked out with just a filling. Look at that!!! A dentist that didn’t proceed with a more expensive treatment. Especially when I was 100% prepared for a root canal. Fantastic staff, fantastic providers and I am so thankful to have found a dentist that doesn’t make me cry with the treatment or the bill. You won’t regret choosing Miles of Smiles!!! I will be recommending them to everyone I know.

Positive experience: The staff was great and very knowledgeable. The woman at the front desk made sure that my insurance covered the services before they start, so there were no surprises. Office was clean and comfortable. The nurse who took my X-rays was very understanding and friendly.

Fantastic experience: I've been to so many dentists, and I can easily say this is the best one I've been too! Everyone is super kind. Very clean and comfortable space to be in, and even television with shows to keep you distracted during your procedures. They talk you through the process so your never in the dark about what's going on. A big thing for me was they put numbing cream on before the novacane shots so it's the most painless, this is the first dentist I've been to that didn't just go straight for novacane shots :) I definetly recommend this place especially if your not a big fan of the dentist, they make you feel as comfortable as possible.

My family had left this practice for an in-network provider and quickly made our return to Miles of Smiles. We wish we never left for the 6 months we tried that in-network establishment! Fantastic experience: I have been a customer at Miles of Smiles for a few years now. Over the years there have been some staff changes and possible new ownership. Yesterday I had an evaluation and cleaning like I do every 6 months. A new dentist, Gabrielle Milton DMD, took care of both things for me. She is professional and efficient with her skills. Most of all I appreciate how friendly, kind and attentive she was to my needs and concerns as her patient.

Fantastic experience: Chose this dentist due to the great reviews and after my visits, I was not disappointed! Friendly staff! The Doctor listened to my concerns and kept me appraised of what she was doing. Was able to make a quick appointment and then got the fillings done the next day. Great experience all around! Highly recommend these folks for your dental work!!

Fantastic experience: I had a cleaning today in Miles of Smile, Londonderry and the Hygienist, Shayla was the best ever that i ever had. She takes her time and very gentle, she did an awesome job during my regular cleaning it feels like deep cleaning and plus very informative, she explains clinically about gum disease. Highly recommended

Positive experience: Yesterday, I received a message from the clinic telling me that they could see me early and this Thursday. I accepted. I went in at 11:00 and they took my xray, worked on my crown which was not part of the visit, and they cleaned them nicely.

Fantastic experience: I visited for the first time this week and was impressed. I was not referred to this dentist, and found it through my insurance company, so I was not sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was wonderful, and thorough. I am thankful to have a good dental office that is very close to my home.

Negative experience: I am satisfied with the doctors and the service. I have a very bad experience with the billing department, this is the second time I have contacted them regarding a charge that is much higher than it should be and every time I go to get my money back, they have an excuse they charged me much more than the insurance sent me the information. I tried to explain what was going on, but the receptionist already knows my problem with the Overcharge, After that, I think it was the receptionist, the manager joined the conversation very unprofessionally, very angry with what seemed like a raised tone and told me not to nod my head and to listen to her carefully probably because I was annoyed and wanted my money back. I left the conversation with her immediately and told her to give me my money back or I would contact my lawyer and he would take care of what needed to be done.

Negative experience: I had to cancel my appointment day of because nobody told me beforehand I’d have to pay $300+ dollars for 2 teeth. Could have told me on the phone, but instead wasted my time showing up there when I didn’t even have $100.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Miles of Smiles for a few years now and I’m always impressed with how nice everyone is. It’s easy to schedule appointments and the desk staff does a great job explaining insurance coverage and out of pocket expenses. There’s no judgement if you need to hold off on a procedure due to finances. Dr. Farah is so kind, gentle and understanding of fears and concerns. I’d highly recommend this office for dental care.

Negative experience: Have gone here fir 1.5 years, they started charging my wife and I for cleanings which should be covered by insurance 100%. When I called our insurance company they told me that miles of smiles was submitting under another ID number which they knew wouldn't be accepted so they could charge us more, be careful they're not above board

Fantastic experience: With severe pain on a weekend, Heather, receptionist, told me to come right over. It was a Saturday! Seen by a great dentist. Very clean and all were super nice. Relief at last.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Farah is amazing, I feel more comfortable going to the dentist after seeing him. I had to have my first root canal and he assured me the whole time that it wasn’t going to be anything like people say, and it wasn’t. Aside from Dr. Farah the Dental Hygienist/assistants and front desk staff are knowledgeable and very pleasant. I am so glad I switched to this office!!

Negative experience: We’ve had issues with Miles of Smiles since our visits in October 2023. We were misled and told our insurance was covered by Miles of Smiles and have been left with a $646 bill. Despite our insurance company getting involved it hasn’t been resolved, despite several office staff, their website and our insurance telling us that it was covered in-network. They have told us no payment plans are available despite it being listed as an option on their website, and I have left several voicemails only to be ignored. This is not how you treat patients, and when you tell them their insurance is covered in network and will verify it again before they come in only to tell them afterwards it is no longer covered is wrong.

Fantastic experience: I recently had the pleasure of visiting Dr. Farah for dental work, and I couldn't be more impressed with the exceptional level of care and expertise I experienced. Dr. Farah's outstanding patient -doctor rapport immediately put me at ease, creating a comfortable and trusting atmosphere. Not only did Dr Farah excel in fostering a relaxed environment, but his skill in replacing my cap and implant was truly remarkable. Fantastic experience: I recently had to get a tooth extracted and needed an appointment sooner than later. Miles of Smiles was able to get me in and I was seen by Dr. Ankur Kaul. I've never had better service and care at any other dentist office. The care and gentle work he did while pulling a tooth was seamless and it was over before I knew it started. I will be requesting future appointments with him for sure!

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Farah. I wish I found him YEARS ago. If you’re looking for a dentist who actually cares, look no further. I had some major work done, and he would check in with me daily to make sure I was comfortable and pain-free. He knew I had anxieties about the procedure and did everything to ease my mind . He’s professional. He’s personable. He actually cares about his patients and not just their wallets. He has gone above and beyond! Dr. Farah is the only dentist I will see moving forward. Not to mention, he did a FANTASTIC job. My teeth look amazing. I highly recommend. I truly couldn’t be any happier with the entire experience.

Fantastic experience: Today I came in extremely anxious about getting a deep filling fixed.. Doctor Farah went out of his way to make sure I felt comfortable and heard. Asking me numerous times how I was doing, giving me breaks when needed, and saying words of affirmation to keep me calm. I WILL be going to him from now on!!! Highly recommend him.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Fadi Farrah did my crown on #3. I’m a major gagger. He tried to do his best to minimize my gagging. He likes Nutella so I brought him a jar for the final apt for placement of the permanent crown. The front desk didn’t have my appointment for the final placement in their computer. I was glad the office sends text confirmations so I was able to show my confirmation. I could tell they were scurrying and double booked but they were gracious and got me in. I hope I never need a crown again but if I do, I’d let the good doctor do it again. Someday I’m hoping to get an implant for my extracted #19. If/when I do, the doctor will coordinate with Dr.Braasch, the best oral surgeon in the world, to get that done. I can’t afford that at the moment though. Childcare takes up too much of my paycheck.

Fantastic experience: If you have a fear of dentists then I would recommend going to Miles of Smiles. Dr. Farah has been the kindest, most empathetic and understanding dentist I have ever been to. The dental hygienists are also really great (Isabel, you were so sweet). The office as a whole is a great team that really pulls together. One of my visits I had to have a temporary crown put in, and that day the office was short staffed because of callouts and despite that the team was professional and kind and took such good care with my visit that you wouldn’t have guessed they were short staffed. Dr. Farah was gentle with his work, he explained every single step he took, and he gave plenty of breaks to allow communication between us if I needed anything. It really meant a lot to me that he explained each step and gave me those breaks because it helped keep my anxiety in check and eased my fear of any possible pain. I live an hour away and will continue to go to Miles if Smiles because they are that good of a dentist.

Negative experience: Update Dec 2023. My family and I have been coming here for 15+ years. I would not recommend to anyone on a schedule or with hopes to keep an appt that their office books. In all of the 15+ years I have never been late nor no-showed an appt here but when showing up for my scheduled appt today 10 mins early I was told it was cancelled by them. This is only the second review I have ever left and unfortunately it is updating the first from a 5-star to a 1-star. This used to be a great business to support but unfortunately, with new management I don’t recommend to anyone unless you want to take your chances of appts being kept when taking time off of work or scheduling your day. ————————— previous review ———————- My family and I have been coming here since they opened. Fantastic experience: Dr. Fadi Farah is patient, kind and very gentle. I was very nervous about getting a crown replaced but I couldn’t have been any happier with the experience - he was right. It was the right time to do it and showed me how bad it was under the current crown and took the time to explain everything - the why the how - and in terms I could appreciate. For the service, the honestly friendly bedside manner, the compassion in understanding my concerns and the quality, the price was extremely reasonable. Couldn’t recommend any higher. I trust him.

Dr. Fadi Farah explained the procedure I needed thoroughly and did a great job. I don't really want to have work done at the dental office, but if I do, I will always ask for him!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Fadi Farah did an AMAZING job pulling my two top wisdom teeth. Even just under a local anasthetic I did not feel a thing besides the shot for the numbing but even that was just a lil pinch. He was the best when it came to communicating what was going on and kept me in the loop during the extraction. If he was able to I’d come back to do my two bottom teeth but unfortunately he’s not equipped to do such a procedure. If you need ANY sort of dental work I highly recommend coming to his office!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Farah is excellent at his work. He did fillings on my front teeth, and was very honest with us when we went for an evaluation and told us exactly what he needed to do and told us all of the options that we had for the procedure. Throughout the procedure, he always made sure to ask how I was doing, and weather i was in pain or not. You can't even tell that I needed work on my teeth after he worked on them!

Fantastic experience: I am a cheer coach and got hit in the mouth. I broke a tooth and fractured another. I was sent to the hospital because when I woke up in the morning I couldn’t open my mouth. (My husbands best day ever) I called Miles of smiles they were able to get me in right away and that is when I was introduced to Dr. Fadi Farah. I needed 2 crowns in 4 visits. He was by far the best dr. I have ever had. I loved his back and forth banter because I was nervous and I was giving him a hard time and by the last visit he was joking around and making me feel comfortable and relaxed. As for my dental work the crowns matched exactly you cannot even tell. I felt no pain at all and let me take as many breaks as I needed. My whole family and kids go here now and I cannot recommend him enough. When you go to Miles of smiles ask for Dr. Fadi Farah you will not be disappointed

Fantastic experience: A couple years back, I had chipped my tooth biting into a fork (Not recommended). I don't go to the dentist all that often so I was fretting going to have my teeth looked at. Dr Fadi Farah was assigned to me and I am so glad he was. Dr Farah was amazing. Kind, friendly, professional, eager to help, and with a deep love of Stela Artois (We bonded over this) he scheduled me for a cap within the week. Now I'm all fixed up and pretty again... well, as pretty as I can be. I highly recommend Dr Farah. My wife and all 7 of my kids see him now. Hes become a part of our family. The front desk and dental assistant staff were amazing also. Stellar experience all the way through. They really go the extra mile for your smile. (You can use that as a tag line if you want)
