Fantastic experience: Great service and the staff was friendly i recommend coming here

Negative experience: The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the actual dentist himself and the dental assistants were lovely. However, my appt took 2 hours- for an exam and x-rays! The hygienist was quite rude to his aide and pushed add-on services instead of asking if I would be interested. Won’t be coming back.

Fantastic experience: Very happy coming here for my cleanings. Dr. Sabas is always so nice and informative, very fast and thorough! Esthela and the girls in front office are always so kind and answer any questions I have. The wait isn’t ever that long too! Will definitely continue coming to see the staff at Desert Dental Hesperia!

Fantastic experience: My experience here was great. I went in for a cleaning and the hygienist Sabob did an excellent job. I’ve never had a cleaning like that done. He really took his time and made sure I was comfortable with the end result. The staff is very friendly!

Negative experience: Worst experience I’ve had. I went here over a year ago and honestly wouldn’t even be writing a review, but now I’m getting random emails about an invoice… so here we are. When I went in, the woman doing my laser treatment started talking to me about religion—like Jesus—and then implied that Muslims are wrong for what they believe. Completely unprompted. I’m not even religious! Girl what? Why are you, as a doctor, talking to patients about religion at all? Especially like that? Do you know how uncomfortable it is to have someone working on you while also pushing their beliefs on you? And on top of that, it felt xenophobic. Like I can’t even imagine what it would’ve been like had I been Muslim? Then right after that, the dentist is arguing with the office about getting me in the chair faster so she can go to lunch. I get it, everyone deserves a break, but why am I part of this conversation? It was just unprofessional and awkward. Then the billing… I call about the invoice, get put on hold, and told the office manager will call me back. They never did. I had to call again the next week just to be told it was a mistake and removed. So why didn’t anyone call me like they said they would? I give a lot of grace, but this place is just weird. Bad vibes, disorganized, kind of sketchy, and not very clean. Truly go anywhere else.

Negative experience: For the kids dental office. Had a 4pm scheduled for both my kids. They called me the day before to tell me they had to reschedule. I did. 2 weeks later at 8 am. I didn't make a big deal about it. Went to the appointment. Waited one hr and wasn't called. My son is special needs and was getting impatient so I had to reschedule. What's the point of an appointment if you can't see ppl. and mind you this is not a time I would ever schedule for. I did it to accommodate them! Now I have to come back and waste my time and gas. Looking for a new dentist office for my kids. Send me some suggestions please.

Positive experience: love dr. benny ! and front desk staff is always nice, but waited an hour + just for my annual exam when making the appt, i was told i would be the first patient after lunch, so how did they fall so behind? i was on time and all ‍♀️

Fantastic experience: I recently had all of my old silver fillings removed and replaced with white composite fillings, and I also had a chip in my front tooth repaired. The results are amazing. Everything looks completely natural and seamless — you can’t tell I ever had silver fillings. The team was professional, kind, and very detail-oriented. They made sure I was comfortable and explained everything clearly. I’m extremely happy with my smile and highly recommend this office!

Negative experience: This place is super frustrating; the front desk staff is rude and are unaware of anything that gos on in the back. I took my son in to be seen and they recommended a route canal we scheduled the appointment. Which we came back for2weeks later, we waited for an hour and a half for the root canal specialists to say they could not do the root canal (after I paid 125 at the front desk) that it needed to be extracted and charged me a $25 fee for them to tell me they couldn't do it, so they scheduled another appointment for the extraction 2weeks out.they called 2 days prior to appointment to confirm the appointment and give me the pre-surgery instructions. On the day of the scheduled appointment for the extraction They told me they could not do it because he didn't have a consultation with the surgeon and preauthorization.But they told me they do consultation the day of the extraction and they would have the person that handles the billing call me with any total after insurance, but more than likely insurance would cover the extraction.low and behold they never called and now after waiting from 10am to 12:15 They tell us we have to make another appointment. The best part about all this is They also charge $150 for late or missed appointments, yet find it okay to reschedule/ move, and cancel appointments on the day of, or make you wait 2 hours in the waiting room after your appointment time. Do I now charge a $200 fee for missed appointments and long wait times because my time is money as well. And now, my son has to go another few weeks with the painful tooth. It's almost as if the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. The dentists and surgeons are independent contractors and the office staff are just there trying to keep up and stay face

Fantastic experience: This is the best dentist that I have ever been to! Sadly, I have a lot of trauma from going to bad dentist when I was younger! As a result, I never wanted to go back to the dentist! Doing so, left me with not so great teeth lol. However, I gave Desert Dental a chance and I’m so glad I did! I only see Dr Benny, Gigi, and the dental assistants Nancy and Nicole! They’re all so great and very sweet! From the numbing to the actual work, I experience absolutely NO pain! When I was at other dentists I thought a little pain was normal because it would hurt so bad! Coming to Dr Benny showed me that dental work isn’t supposed to hurt if the dentist knows their craft! I really thank God for leading me here and I’m blessed to have a great dentist and staff. If you want a dentist and staff that make you feel calm and comfortable, come see Dr Benny! I NEVER leave reviews lol! Me leaving a review shows how much I love my dentist!

Positive experience: I’ve been coming here for a while now and usually it starts off great. As I’m getting my appointment all set into place I had the assistant Ruth helping me out, she was snappy when I was just asking questions about a specific tooth.

Negative experience: Made a appt almost a month and a half ago and they scheduled me to see a doctor a month later and when I come in for appointment Bianca calls while I’m parked waiting 10 mins til my appointment that I have to wait two hrs more and inconvenienced me of having to chose between going to pick my four children up from school or waiting two more hrs extra for services terrible reception services but great doctors and nurses

Fantastic experience: As someone that is very anxious when it comes to the dentist, this office has made me feel very comfortable and truly cared for! Recently got a deep cleaning and the hygienist are amazing, they explained everything before treatment and made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process. 10/10 experience!

Fantastic experience: Wonderful experience. The teeth cleanings are done with care by Gigi. Maricela, Esthela, and Marisa are helpful with X-rays, cleanings, and appointments. My husband and I have been coming here for 20 years and will continued to have are teeth cleanings here. My older kids are now coming in for their 6 month cleanings.

Negative experience: This is the second time I have been screwed over by this company, suffering severe pain and now extra expenses due to malpractice and careless or untrained staff. The first time, I waited in agonizing, unnecessary, and avoidable pain for months just for this office to properly submit a claim for treatment. Now, I am going through the same agonizing and avoidable pain and infection again due to shoddy, careless work that left debris and a misshapen canal. I will now report this to the dental board, hoping to save others from having a similar experience with this company.

Fantastic experience: Very nervous of needles in my mouth but they always use a numbing cream so I don’t feel the needles. I’m never waiting to long to get in and out of the chair. Nicole and dr. Benny always make sure I don’t have a hard time here.

Negative experience: After waiting 6 weeks for authorization they still couldn’t get authorization and wanted to charge full price? What’s the point of having insurance? Why couldn’t they follow up and do their job?

Negative experience: **Won’t be going back to this place EVER AGAIN.** The first time I went, I came in as a walk-in because my wisdom tooth was hurting. I have Medi-Cal, and the dentist said the tooth needed to be extracted. They scheduled me for the same day to have the dental work done. I sat there for HOURS, and once it was finally my turn, they told me I needed a different procedure and a bone graph, which wasn’t covered by Medi-Cal. So they sent me home while they submitted an insurance authorization for the procedure I needed. Weeks went by, and they eventually called to schedule an appointment, saying the insurance approved the dental work. I came in and again waited forever, only to be told that I HAD TO PAY OUT OF POCKET for the bone graph. I explained to the woman that the reason I didn’t get the procedure done during my first visit was because they were supposed to send it to insurance for approval—and they told me it *was* approved. But the lady just wanted to argue that it wasn’t and insisted I had to pay **$750 PER TOOTH** for each bone graph—**a total of $3,000** for all four wisdom teeth. I got up and walked out of the dental office.

Fantastic experience: I was very comfortable there and all the assistants were very helpful it was very clean facility and everyone there was cordial the assistant that was with me I don't know I didn't catch your name but we had a baby crying and she took off to go hold the crying baby so that it would stop crying I thought that was really nice everybody everything was taken in a timely manner and I can't wait to see the procedure that I did new dentures

Fantastic experience: Had an appt with Dr Rolle today! He was friendly and took all my concerns into account. Nicole is a rockstar and a ray of sunshine in that office! Marisa and Bianca were very greeting the moment I walked in. Will definitely come back!

Negative experience: I would first like to say that the dentist, her helper and Gigi that I worked with last month were amazing. I give them 5 stars. They were very friendly, professional, and got me in and out super fast!! The reason for my 1 star rating is because I was given the amount my Insurance will pay for the services provided, and I would be responsible for the remaining $405. I thought it was a little expensive since I've never had to come out of pocket at a dentist before, ever. I paid the remaining amount out of pocket at the time of my visit and they completed the work. Surprise, surprise, a month later I get a bill from them, stating that I still owed an additional $129 since "my insurance didn't cover what they had anticipated they would." Their biling representative Bianca was nice and waived the $29 for the inconvenience, but I still had to pay the remaining $100. I think it's super unprofessional that I was given a price, and paid the difference, and for them to charge me more after the fact is ridiculous. I called ahead, filled out all my insurance paperwork prior to my visit. They knew what my insurance covered, and what it did not. I feel like I was given false information, and they should've waived the entire amount since they're the ones that misquoted me.
