Negative experience: AVOID THIS OFFICE! I’ve been a patient for years and the customer service and wait times have gotten progressively worse. I had an appointment two weeks ago but after waiting in the lobby for two hours without being seen, I rescheduled my appointment to today. I came in today for my rescheduled appointment. It took 45 minutes to be taken to the back. Another 45 minutes before the dentist did a visual inspection (took 1 minute). After being left alone for another 30 minutes, I walked out of the room and booked another appointment. Two separate visits, both with 2 hour wait times with no service, and barely any interaction. It is clear they are short handed and instead being upfront, they will make you waste your time by overbooking while being understaffed and not informing patients so we can decide to wait for hours or rebook. I say again, AVOID THIS OFFICE. They DO NOT respect your time and I will be looking for another provider.

Negative experience: The staff that work there was great but the woman dentist was not! I went in for servere pain from bitting a steak bone that broke a upper and lower molar. She just gave me some ibuprofen, no amoxicilin because i wouldnt agree to her pulling more teeth than the two that were messed up, even with my pain level at 11. I guess she wanted me to be in pain until i agree to what she wanted, which means she's clearly in it only for the money and not about the care of her patients. Patient Beware of this Western dental

Negative experience: Worst place ive ever been in. Absolute time wasters by making me wait hours just to do my cleanings while they waste time EATING LUNCH. its like they dont care about you at all. Not to mention how they made my wife pay 5k for my sons braces. The staff like to take advantage of people by wasting their time and taking their money. WORST PLACE EVER. i do not recommend this place to anyone and I hope for this place to fall off.

Negative experience: This dental place is one of the worst places I've ever been in. They are slow and awful at their jobs. My son has been here for orthodontic and braces for almost 3 years now. Nothing has been done about my son's braces. They've been saying that my son's bite was bad and that they needed it to get better so they can add the lower braces of my son. I've wasted a year hearing that same excuse and they don't do anything unless I pay. I've paid about $5,800 and they still want me to pay more for my son's braces. I'm done hearing the same excuses and lies and I do not want anyone going here to get their kids braces. 0/10. Do not recommend.

Negative experience: I had my x-rays done, and I was sitting waiting for the dentist for 30 minutes and no one checked in with me. And from reading the reviews, I might have been waiting for hours if I didnt just walk out. What a waste of time, I'll be canceling my appointment.

Negative experience: They take forever!!!!! Looks like they are over booking patients my appointment was @12:30 it’s 2:05 and have not been called in yet I’m disappointed !!!!!! And I’m sure another 2 hours in the back waiting to get an extraction!!! Can’t believe this.

Negative experience: This is the worst place I’ve ever been to. I came for an infected tooth and they said I had all these other problems that I didn’t have. They genuinely did not care about what I needed. They charged me for the wrong crowns and after 6 weeks I’m still waiting for my refund. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I would take back the one star if I could.

Negative experience: Wait time is a disgrace. Waited 3 hours for my appointment. This place needs new management and coordination. Stop booking patients if you do not have the staff to attend to patients. Horrible place no customer service and lack of communication.

Negative experience: Worst Ever definitely do not Recommend! I waited about an hour and some change to get called back for X-rays. X-ray Tech was impatient and catching an attitude. Nobody came to check on me after I sat in that chair for 3 hours ! Doctor came in at one point and then asked if she can be right back in 5mins I said sure … she never returned after 35 more mins I got up and just left I had to get my kids from school ! So upsetting as that was a huge waste of time !! Nobody cares at that office !

It feels as though the office is perpetually overbooked, making each visit a time-consuming ordeal. Trying to get any assistance or clear information from the staff often turns into a hassle, with mixed messages and a lack of coordination apparent in their service. Moreover, the customer service leaves much to be desired. Communication is often lacking, and it can be a challenge to feel heard or valued as a patient. When it comes to handling questions or addressing concerns, the staff seems either overwhelmed or indifferent, which further detracts from the overall experience. It's disappointing to see such consistent issues at this location, and I sincerely hope that the management takes steps to improve both the efficiency and quality of service. Patients deserve timely, respectful, and organized care, and unfortunately, that has not been my experience at this dental office. In summary, if you value your time and expect a straightforward dental visit, you might want to consider other options until significant improvements are made.

Negative experience: Horrible experience here I honestly hate going here. Last appointment u was there for 4hours and they still didn’t even finish makes me comeback and was there 2 hours and half and the last tells me if I want to comeback for the rest of fillings

She said she reached out when I only have 1 call from and 3 calls too this office that i made. FROM DAY ONE that I've met her she acts like she knows more then the actual dentist. Negative experience: Scheduled appointment take over two hours. Each time I am here. Some of the staff is beyond rude. They act like they don’t understand any questions you have and if answered they are very condescending.

Negative experience: This office will lie and do what they can to take as much time and money from you as possible. Its hard to hear them, and they act offended when you ask them to repeat what they said. They'll keep you waiting forever in the lobby, then forget you in a room. One appointment I came in at 12:40, not told until later that the dentists were still at lunch which made no sense why they wanted me at that time so bad. I was forgotten, and when they finally came back and finished it was almost 5. Find any other dental office, this one is awful

Negative experience: Horrible! I made appointments for checkups and cleanings for my kids. I have taken my kids to this office twice, waited 3hrs, both times, only to be told at the first appointment, that the doctor wasn't available so they would only get X-rays. Second appointment all they got were exams, and I was told they will have to make 3 more appointments, one for fillings, one for cleaning, and another to have a tooth pulled. They said certain doctors are only available on certain days, once or twice a month, which is ridiculous. I have 5children and don't have time to run back and forth to 4-5 separate appointments for 5 kids, not to mention, they'll be missing school. This is the worst dentist office I have ever been to. Also, the AC is broken, in the lobby, only, so if you don't go early in the morning, you will roast like a pig . Just unacceptable and appalling

Negative experience: I sat in the waiting lobby for 55 minutes before heading to the back. Then my procedure was done in 5 minutes. Then the doctor all of a sudden said I have 13 cavities, when previously the week before she said I none. Then some other assistant said she was going to polish my teeth. She came back with one of those disposable toothbrushes with toothpaste in them. She brushed my teeth then she said you’re done. Come at your own risk.

Positive experience: This western dental has great doctors , assistances and atmosphere all is great, all but except some of the front desk ladies don't do very well with communication and understanding with patients. Some of them also don't want to listen to doctors direct orders. I wa told by a Doctor at this site to specifically come back at ANY time with or without an appointment to put in temporary filling, but the front ladie wants to make me set an appointment because they are busy, I explained to her what the doctor said and she did not care. Neither did one of the assistants. I have hade the root canal exposed because the filling fell out and need to refill. I had to go buy temporary filling and do it my self because of the front receptionist.She also set an appointment for my crown mold , but a month from now on 09/27/25 I don't think a root canal should be without it's crown for that long one month to wait for a mold and then I don't know how long for the actual crown. I hope that my root canal does not have any complications due to an exposed root canal I can literally see the canal hole. I had to cover it myself this morning on 08/17/2025 I don't know if this is safe or recommend to stay in there for months.

Negative experience: The worst managed office I've ever been to. No one knows what's going on. I tried 3xs to be seen but never was. They won't see you if you haven't been assigned for over a month, but theyll make the appointment for you within the month. They'll let you sit in the lobby for hours before telling you there's an issue. Had a 1:30 appointment still hadn't been seen by 3pm, only to be told there was another issue and I couldnt be seen again. They knew there was an issue when I checked in but they let me sit for hours. I didnt even get out of there until 4pm, not being seen. They rescheduled my previous appointment 45 minutes before the appointment. They've called me to verify my insurance multiple times and still have no idea what's going on every time I check in, so no one is keeping track of that. Just do yourself a favor and find a new dentist. Don't bother here, it's embarrassing how badly this office runs. I have no faith that the dentists know what they're doing, but I wouldn't know, the front office is so incompetent I never saw a dentist after all these attempts. Gross.

Negative experience: these people cannot manage to keep my files separate from my brothers and have apparently never had me on file for the past year ive been going here. everytime i have to make sure they put it in my name and not his and they usually put my treatment under his name anyway.they never schedule my appointments when i call to make them and when i make them on their website. 0/10 would reccomend going anywhere else. especially if you have a twin sibling.

Negative experience: These people tell you to open up really big to the point that after their medication wears off you end up with TMJ disorder and now i can't eat anything any more and they want me to pay the bill and who's going to fix my jaw so I will not pay any bills until my jaw gets fixed

Negative experience: I made an appointment to be seen because I found out they take denti-cal. When I called to make the appointment I told the person who answered the phone that I had braces on and she even made me an appointment for a braces consultation, stating that maybe the orthodontist could check on my braces. She never said it would be an issue. I get there today for my appointment and as soon as the receptionist saw my braces she said I had to go to my orthodontist to get my wires removed! Excuse me!? My orthodontist is in Mexico I said to her. And she said “if the wires aren’t removed we can’t see you because they won’t be able to get x-rays.” I walked out of there feeling so upset and sad at the same time. I haven’t been able to eat right since my filing fell out and all I needed was an assessment of my tooth, maybe I just need another filling until I can get a crown on it after I have my braces removed. I honestly thought Western Dental would be able to help but instead they turned me away. I was very disappointed.

Negative experience: Terrible place, i had full set of dentures from them. once my gums healed the dentures were painfully uncomfortable and very loose i needed a ton of poligrip to hold tjem i in place.They felt like a size 10 foot in a size 12 shoe. They gave me a11am appointment, at 115pm i gave up. After 2 hours and 15 min. No one acknowledge the fact i had waiting. Idont like to use the word discrimination, yet this was the case, 5 ft 8 (short), African-American (black), 60 years old,(senior citizen),bald head (no hair),not attractive (ugly)and no teeth. If any of these traits sound like you, stay away from western dental,unless you enjoy being looked over, left out, lied to, and forgotten

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at this dental office today! After having braces for 2 ½ years, I finally got them off, had my teeth cleaned, and was set up with a GumX routine to help care for my gums. I was here for a while, but we got everything taken care of. Valerie assisted me for most of my visit—she was so kind and patient, and I truly appreciate her for that. Thank you also to Dr. Z for setting me up with my braces in the first place! The whole team was gentle, thorough, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. I left feeling really happy with how everything turned out

Negative experience: Nice place, but the wait is absurd. We had our appointment time, arrived 15 minutes earlier and an hour later we are still waiting in the waiting room! 6/17/25 Why do we need to make an appointment if time doesn't matter?

Positive experience: First and foremost, I would just like to say that when an individual applies for a position titled, Service Provider / Customer Service they're duties is to provide a certain level of service, communication & comfortability. The receptionist (I didn't ask her name because we had already had words, mind you I'm in pain and somehow, I'm still being polite & not be rude. This is a Dentist Office. Anyone who comes in here, is in pain. I made an appointment for Monday, June 16th at 2:45pm over the phone. I get here. I politely gather said woman attention, proceeded to tell her I have an appointment at said time. She does not greet me. She does not even smile. Her energy is telling she does not want to provided service. Again, I'm in pain. My tooth is killing me. After a brief exchange in polite words on my end, she argues with me that she does not see my said appointment. I stop talking. Every word hurts. Said woman literally tried to argue down a woman in pain so, I pulled my phone out, dial the number to where I made the appointment. The receptionist answers I introduce myself and briefly explain the situation calmly. She asked my information then proceeds to confirm (on speaker) 'You have an appointment schedule for June 16th at 2:45pm at said office.' I ask her to repeat herself one last time before hanging up. The receptionist at the desk still does not apologize for the inconvenience or rude manner, does not even acknowledge the phone call instead she turned to her fellow employee (completely disregarding my presence) & said, 'I'm just going to put her as a walk in.' Like she didn't just hear the scheduling department verbally confirm my appointment. Terrible. I shook my head & took a seat. Said lady wears glasses, is Hispanic & has long black hair. This happened earlier today. :( I can say when I walked out from being seen I was in a better mood even after seeing the dentist. Ha Ha. Dr Bunar & Barb as well as Joanna made up for the bad vibes up front. I was terrified, & I have a low pain tolerance. I'm here for help. She's here to provide service for individuals in pain. I'm a very nice young lady, & I know I look like a child but I'm not. Im 30 years old. Respect as a Service Provider should be mandated. As a dentist office, comfortability & service should be instilled as well as regular customer service training. I hope to have a better experience from start to finish next time! I hate writing reviews, but some things have to be said.

Fantastic experience: I had to get a tooth removed and I was soooo nervous. Dr. Neil and Ms. Barb were absolutely incredible! I didn’t even feel when the two needles went into my gums. They were kind and talked me through the entire procedure. I was always told that extractions can take 15-30 mins, I don’t even think it took 5 minutes to get the tooth out. 10 out 10, I recommend to anyone looking for a dentist.

Negative experience: Very friendly and normally I would say very professional. Unfortunately today was not one of those days May 15, 2025. I went in for my six month check up. Checked in, no problems there. Got taken back for X-rays promptly so again a good experience. They did two sets of X-rays and then I was taken to another cubicle to see I guess a dentist. It was so far from the busy area and nobody ever came to check on me. I waited and waited to no avail. Finally I just got up and walked out. I don’t mind waiting but I do mind waiting for a long time without acknowledgment of me being there. I need to have a top denture made and I was hoping this was going to be the place to do it. I’m seriously rethinking this. Anyway they do good work here and they are very friendly. They really just need to work on leaving people alone and never coming back to finish the task. I guess if you go here by yourself and you don’t have anything else to do it’s fine.

They made me not eat for 18 hours no fluids just to get me in the office and say her we are referring you to someone else . Like what ? I took off work my wife took off work cause I was going to be sedated and you didn’t figure out I didn’t need to go in till not only that but you made me wait an hour just to tell me that . Will never be back I this office till the front office is changed for the better

Negative experience: Never go here unless you want the rudest and most unprofessional service! Made appointments for my children and 30 mins before the appointment time they cancel on my kids stating they overbooked! This is beyond unprofessional and I will not be giving them my business. You shouldn't either if you're a busy parent like me that relies on a calendar and appointments between work etc. Now my kid has to be in pain til another appointment as I told them she is special needs and has a grinding issue that is causing her pain.

Fantastic experience: Dr Sing and miss Barbara did the second half of my gum cleaning today. The first half was done a month before and by another doctor. I felt a lot of pain throughout the first cleaning but dr sing and miss Barbara took great care of me and I didn’t feel an ounce of pain. Dr sing also kept me up to date with what she was doing and gave me plenty of instruction for after the appointment which is something I haven’t received before. As apprehensive as I am with going to the dentist I dont believe I will feel that way if I have those two taking care of me. Thank you both for making this appointment painless and informative. Negative experience: It was a very uncomfortable experience for my child! The reason being was, an employee was yelling and screaming in the back. The area where they perform the dental work! He was afraid this person was going to work on his mouth! He was very relieved when the regular dentist actually showed up! Very very unprofessional! They are very lucky I didn’t hear it in the front where I was sitting! I mean very lucky! . I don’t tolerate unprofessionalism in the work place period! An to have my child in fear was not right! He didn’t want to tell me til we got home because he knows I would have said a whole lot to them!!! So disappointed, because the dentist himself did such great work. Staff can definitely bring an office down..! Keep it professional people you are scaring people.. The dentist office is scary enough for a lot of people!

Fantastic experience: My tooth broke 2 weeks ago and after seeing the reviews I still went.. most of the reviews said a lady named Charlene was the best person to see, wouldn't luck haven't, I met her and the reviews are true to that aspect, the dentist was nice also. Ill be back in 2weeks to let you know how it. Goes. I will say this tho it was some pretty upset ppl in the waiting room and lobby. It was a wait but it was ppl also. So ‍♂️‍♂️

Negative experience: If a zero star were available i would have done it but i had to mark one at least, because my experience with this office located at 14678 7th Street Victorville was awful , my kids where supposed to have an appointment today at 12:30 pm when we get there I find out that they changed our scheduled appointment without notifying me about the change on top of that the woman had the audacity to blame it on me that i did the change stupid people working there, the woman at front desk with arrogance and attitude told me “now the only thing i can do is to reschedule for a different day” i told her “I don’t have your time” and left and if you were told something while scheduling appointments forget it they will blame corporate for telling you that, as if they don’t work for the corporation, I understand now why my other relatives stopped getting service from them, one of little my nephews got severe burns on his mouth while having a service and my sister had to change dentist.

Negative experience: If your seeing this review take this as a clear warning to steer clear of Western Dental nation wide, where do I start, 1stly was agreed my crown would be replaced & problem fixed and had me sign a contract, a month later I am informed by dentist the contract does not include the crown repair as that is an expensive procedure & my 1500$ contract was only for gumx dental treatment which is essentially 1 mouth guard with treatment cream, so right there and then I knew I had been conned, so somehow someway I made monthly payments to where I finally received a letter saying because payments were made a payment of 291$ could be made instead of the 364$ remaining, I call up thinking I'll finally rid this contract I never agreed to and the employee on phone tells me the letter was a mistake , what an absolute joke, I genuinely thought he's kidding, no he was serious and extremely rude,he stuck with the letter was a mistake and id have to pay an additional $20, i don't like being lied to and taken advantage of which Western Dental did from the start, avoid this place at all cost, stern warning , I am an honest person and definitely not 1 to over exaggerate or tell lies, you got me this time , but never signing no papers with you ever again
