Positive experience: I like the doctors and nurses at the dentist. They respect my convictions about not using fluoride for example and about respecting my son when he is nervous about being touched. Not forcing the child to cooperate. They worked with me in a way that works for my son. It would be helpful for the doctors to communicate more with the kids directly, like asking their name and creating a relationship.

Fantastic experience: After being told I couldn’t get braces due to my age, I went in for an invisilign appointment because I was disappointed ( I really wanted braces). I was so shocked to find out I was eligible for braces after all!! They were kind and understanding. I was so excited I paid right out and have an appointment June 14,2025 @ 8 am!! Edited: Been a year with these braces ( second pic) and I absolutely love it at this dentist!! Javier ( or maybe Xiaviar), is the most gentle tech!! Not to take away from anyone else but he is so kind and gentle. He has genuine concern for the patient and his bedside manner is amazing!! Every single month, I am about ready to rip these things off but he reminds me how beautiful my smile will be. He is very patient and will explain to you what ever you need to know. Thank you so much!!

Fantastic experience: This was the first time that anyone explains anything regarding children’s ortho treatment and shows me the actual difference on before and after pictures. Javier was very helpful. We have been going to this ortho for 13 months now and they only take my kids to the back change the bands and that’s it I get it there busy. I have even asked the ortho doctor a few months ago what we were expecting to happen or what the improvement was and he seem not to speak much English he showed me one X-ray which I don’t know if it was my kid or not but I couldn’t see any difference. He is always on his phone during patients visits and just feels as they want customers money. But this visit was by far the best with the ortho assistant Javier, he explained the treatment what corrections we are trying to do with the braces. Also one of my kids needed rubber bands to correct jaw line and no one had ever mentioned it 13 treatments later I had even asked the ortho doctor 3 sessions in because that was the main reason one of my kids needed braces to correct jaw line and he never said anything but Javier mentioned it this visit. Thank you so much Javier. For all the money we are spending on this place we need more workers like Javier. Thank you so much Javier again.

Fantastic experience: I never leave reviews for anything, but I love this place so much that I feel compelled to leave a review. They are amazing with my 3 year old. They know exactly how to make her feel comfortable and how to explain things in a way that she'll understand. I love how when they cleaned her teeth they told her what was going to happen first with the brush, water, and suction. They even told her to let them know if she needs a break and they would stop for a bit. They are very mindful with our time by getting us in and out quickly, but it did not feel rushed. Which is great with a young child. I really feel that all the people that work here actually enjoy working with children. Everyone is so nice. I would not want to take her any other place.

Positive experience: Children may like the treatment, but plan an extra 30 minutes earlier for your arrival if you have to be elsewhere after. Otherwise you’ll be waiting that once you get there. And PLEASE dont have an issue or a bad day. They will just stand outside the door and gossip with their manager and other colleagues about you like you can’t hear. Don’t forget the manger is just going to laugh about it in your face.

Fantastic experience: 1st time visiting with our toddler. Toddlers second dental visit overall. Appointment was honored on time, actually 10mins earlier which was a plus. Staff was very knowledgeable, patient and respectful. I was able to complete the pre-visit forms online. The facility was clean and kid-friendly. My daughter especially loved the different color stations, cartoons playing & can't forget the toothbrush goodie bag lol At the end of the visit there were no surprise extra payments due or copay(s), like we've dealt with in the past which is another reason why we opted for a new dental office. We have PPO insurance and it went smooth. I would definitely recommend. We will be returning!

Positive experience: My daughter has been going here since she was one year old and they have been great with her. I just don’t like how they won’t let me stand there and help them to get the pictures of my daughter’s teeth. I know my daughter the best so the fact that they always tell me to go sit down so they can try to get the photos themselves even tho it never works out gets on my nerves

Negative experience: I don’t appreciate the dentists and nurses telling my children that “you need to let us know in advance if you have a broken bracket” or “you’re going to have to pay if you break more brackets”. Those conversations should be happening with an adult, not with my 11 year old. Who does that?

Fantastic experience: Yesterday was my daughters first experience with the dentist in a while. She's 4. The staff was so incredible. They made it such a fun experience. They were patient and kind. She had such a fun experience that my daughter left wanting to be a dentist when she grows up I also brought my son who has extreme anxiety over the dentist. In the past we have always had to put him under general anesthesia to get any work done, yesterday the staff explained every tool and step so that way he would understand and stay calm. He was able to get a filling with no problem. I appreciate the love and patience this team put into my kids dental care.

Positive experience: The appointment time that the receptionist had was different than what I confirmed via text & phone call. I, in fact, was not late. I actually arrived 5 minutes before the scheduled time that I confirmed and yet I still had to sign the form saying I will not be late to future appointments. Errors happen with technology, and that’s understandable. But the receptionist was dismissive when I brought it to her attention that I had proof of a different appt time than what she had. Other than that, service in the dental chair is always exceptional. My children love to visit Children’s Choice dental and look forward to coming back.

Fantastic experience: My 9 year old was very comfortable. She was asked if she had any questions not just me as her parent which I love.... They gave a complete breakdown of what will cost what and how it would all go. Very thorough and the question i asked was answered extremely well and clear and left no confusion at all. Fantastic experience: I'm very happy that I made the switch to Children's Choice Dental. Not only is the staff very friendly and helpful, they are very kind and understanding with the children. They know that for some, going in to see the dentist can be hard; especially when needing to have much dental work done on a such a little body. I cannot say enough on how well they treat people and especially the littles and the respect given when validating their fears. The doctors and staff are so caring. Im grateful I found them because I needed a new dentist for my kids. Not a forceful one like their previous doctor. Thank you to all staff at Children's Choice Victorville, you are truly AMAZING!!!

Negative experience: I had a very upsetting experience at this clinic. One of the front-desk male staff members called me and spoke to me in a completely unprofessional manner. He questioned why I would leave my 16-year-old daughter alone with “strangers” during her treatment and even implied that I would “blame them” if something happened. Not only was his tone disrespectful, but his comments were completely unnecessary. And concerning, made me question if him or the staff where some type of predators. For the record, their own policy states children 8 and older can be treated without a parent present — my daughter is 16. There was absolutely no reason for him to call me speaking like that. The lack of professionalism and the way I was spoken to was unacceptable, and it made me lose trust in this clinic. I hope management addresses this behavior so other families don’t have the same experience.

Fantastic experience: i give them 5 STARS because Eileen and Desli at the front office is just amazing, both my boys know them by name and always welcomes them with a warm smile. They have great customer service and they knows how to relate to working moms and around their work/school schedule. the girls in the back are amazing too. My boys love coming here. i do have to say one thing i totally disagree. I am a busy mom who commutes 6 1/2 hours a day for work and have to plan accordingly. all my appt are scheduled with me and are noted in my calendar with details. When appts are booked out of the blue with no notice and then cancelled because i didn't confirm an appt i DIDNT schedule is not cool because this makes it look like if I'm non-compliant with my boys appointments. Eileen and Desli are AMAZING !!

Negative experience: The Dental office has always been good except for one DA but I took care of it with the manager. Yesterday we went for an Orthodontist Evaluation which I had deferred before as my son is a late bloomer and still doesn’t have all of his adult teeth in. But they convinced me and I said what could this hurt? Well big mistake! We checked in there was no where to sit, filled out paperwork and turned it in waited a while for X-rays. After X-rays we are to sit back down an hour later the front desk receptionist asks us and another family what are we there for? I told her and right away my son was called after 6 pm staff were leaving for the night and they clearly forgot about us as one of the staff told another member get the Dr in here right away! Played it off like they didn’t! Also the staff needs to dress and act and look more professional . Heavy make up on, tattoos showing, stomachs showing, not dressed properly. Lastly while we were waiting an employee from the dental side brought over a mom that had questions as she had just purchased braces for her child and as she was telling the front office of the ortho dept she rolled her eyes letting the other staff know this moms annoying . I saw her and when she saw me she changed her expression. Will not be taking my son to the orthodontist there at all in the future will look elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: First time coming here yesterday 10/30/25! Our appointment was at 10:40AM and we were taken to the back not even a few minutes later after checking in. They were quick and efficient. The dental assistant was kind, asked about my 1.5 year olds history and asked if I had any concerns. He was super kind to my daughter as she was a little shy and didn’t want to open her mouth. The Dentist was quick, he explained everything and made sure we didn’t have any questions! Definitely enjoyed our experience. Thank you, we will be back for her 6m follow-up! Oh and I loved the Halloween decor!

Negative experience: Yesterday we went back for a scheduled appt. My daughter had been put to sleep for dental work here a while ago; she was 2yrs old at the time. 2 of those silver cappings fell off recently. Not safe at all luckily she caught them before she swallowed them. Yesterday i was upset that dental assistants didn’t check every tool they needed to make sure everything was working. They had to stop the process & switch us over to another room wasted about 10-15mins because not everything was working. I believe everything should be working before hand! especially for little kids. My daughter who’s 4yr old, had already calmed down after crying and being on some laughing gas. For them to waist time and switch us over to a room is not professional. Make sure everything works and is ready so it can be a faster process for kids who have a hard time with the dentist. I do appreciate them being patient with my kid, and giving her stickers and balloons after wards. But they have a few things to work on, being more professional.

Fantastic experience: I took my child, Samuelto, to get some dental work done, and I was very impressed with the professionalism and understanding of the staff. They went out of their way to adjust their schedule to perform the procedure. They even provided coloring books and talked to him to keep him calm. If you need dental work done for your kids, I highly recommend this place—they are truly the best in the desert.

Positive experience: They’re usually amazing…. But my teenager went and the male Asian dentist pricked my daughter’s lip and acted like it was bc she moved when she didn’t…. And she still has the scar on her mouth… other than that I really like the office and the staff..

Fantastic experience: Excellent choice for children with special needs and especially children with special needs who are on a 2-3 year waiting list to go under anesthesia. These dental hygienist, dental doctors and dental’s assistants all have great customer service and hospitality skills. Their people skills and the skills it takes to deal with children who are non verbal are highly valued. I met the young gentlemen who told me about their dental office; at the county fair and was a little hesitant as most dental offices claim to take children with special needs actually do not. I’ve had my share of experiences; especially in the high desert… well this place d is different. They specialize in all children and work extremely well with non verbal children. My son had a swallowing difficulty and a recent trach. These dentist made sure to suction when permitted and has 1,2, and even 3 helpers on stand by just in case. I’m very happy with this office and have told many parents like myself to give them a try.

Fantastic experience: I took my daughter in for a check up at Children’s Choice Dental in Victorville, and I have to say the experience was amazing! The dental assistant, Gabby “I believe that’s her name”, did an incredible job. She was so kind and gentle, Super friendly and really helped make us feel comfortable. My daughter usually gets nervous about going to the dentist, but with Gabby helping her, she felt safe and at ease. She even told me afterwards how comfortable she felt with Gabby assisting her, which is rare for her during dental visits. The doctor was also wonderful she was Spanish speaking, very professional, caring, and amazing with kids. On top of that, the whole team seemed friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better. Overall, they all made the visit smooth and stress-free. I truly appreciate the way they take care of children here. Highly recommend this office for anyone looking for a great dental experience for their kids!

Negative experience: Avoid this place if you value thorough care. I first brought my daughter here on July 31 because she was in extreme pain, and her regular dentist had no availability. I made it very clear that my concern was with her upper right side (in fact, her entire right side), but I was told she only had two small cavities on the lower right. Despite pointing out a very obvious dark spot on her upper right tooth, the dentist (an older white man I’m sorry I don’t know how to describe him) dismissed it, saying, “I don’t understand why she’s in so much pain. These are tiny cavities on the bottom, and nothing is wrong on top. It might just be her molars coming in.” I trusted him because he’s the professional — but unfortunately, I was wrong to do so. Fast forward to Saturday, when I brought her back for treatment. Again, I raised my concern about the upper right tooth. Once more, I was told everything was fine. However, during the visit, I overheard the dentist (an Asian man again I’m sorry I don’t know how to describe him. I did not get a name) tell the assistant that my daughter clearly had “heavy decay” up top and should have had a thorough exam before being scheduled. To which I said exactly, I brought this up about 3 weeks prior as well as at the start of my visit. I brought my daughter here precisely because she was in severe pain, and I voiced my concern clearly on multiple occasions. They clearly failed my daughter and now she may possibly need a crown which could have been avoidable had they listened to me.

Negative experience: Very bad new team. The dr took only 60 seconds with my daughters even though we told her that the fillings came out the my other daughter feels pain in her tooth when chewing. The dr seemed to just pass by so she can see many patients as fast as possible to generate more charges

Fantastic experience: Both my babies got put under anesthesia to get all their work done in one day. The team did amazing and was very reassuring. Thank you guys.

Fantastic experience: I took my four kids here for the first time and they looooved it. Normally they hate going to the dentist and complain but this time they were calmer and even asked this to be their new dentist office from now on. The atmosphere was friendly, the office is clean and they have tvs playing cartoons on the ceiling right near the dental chairs so the kids can watch something while they get their teeth cleaned. The staff was quick and efficient in getting all four kiddos X-rays done and teeth cleaned at the same time. Very impressed with how this office is run.
