Negative experience: This place it’s the worst they crew it not professional they treat you like number Not like a kindnesses I was waiting for my root canal appointments they said I will receive a call in a week we’ll pass A month went to the office and then they told me that my insurance SCAN HEALTH INSURANCE doesn’t cover anything I make a call to scan health insurance they told me it’s cover I have a stroke on 2020 I have madical and Medicare this people doesn’t not helping at all they crew dissatisfied I don’t recomend this dentist -10 here at HESPERIA. CALIFORNIA

Fantastic experience: They are PHENOMENAL! From front desk to assistants to dentists, you can tell they love what they do as they are soft spoken and very detailed when they explain procedures or insurance policies and procedures! Definitely recommend it!

Negative experience: My first experience was good with the dentist but today was my 6 month visit for a cleaning and the dental hygienist I felt was just too rough she made my gums bleed then said it was me and it was a sign of gingivitis which I don’t have and I brush and floss 2 times a day. I just was not happy with the visit at all today.

Negative experience: So far I've not got any good communication They submitted insurance incorrectly and I'm waiting on a call back... Insurance approved my restoration for my lower jaw but they still tried to upcharge me 350$ for lower jaw restoration things... Ugh hope I can change this review but as of now customer service is lacking Standing here again waiting for them to call me almost been a hour.

Negative experience: Went in for simple extraction due to pain/decayed tooth. Gentle dental said they couldn't help and to go to another dentist in Riverside, only to find out that dentist cant help me either and sent me back to Gentle Dental for extraction. After making me wait for 1.5 hours in the waiting (note: they actually called to tell me to come in 30 min early) they tried to over charge me for simple extractions. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: Renewing my review! Aimee did it again! Extremely gentle and in the same time extremely thorough! Can’t be more happy having such a great hygienist cleaning my mouth! Thank you three times more! The most gentle hygienist ever! And she is the most thorough with her cleanings! So happy to have her cleaning my teeth!

Negative experience: Unfortunately, I wanted to give this office another try & go back since they did work on me before. Today, I went in for an appt, by the time I got home I had already switched dentists. I asked questions that were not answered. The dentist literally smiled & said “worry about that later”. The dentist & RDA both walked away, didn’t even take the bib off or clean my teeth. NOT EVEN A NORMAL CLEANING. she explained something that did not pertain to why I was there. Usually the dentist does that little 2,3,2,3,2,3,3 routine….I didn’t even get that lol, which I wanted to hear because I’m interested in the perio trays to prevent dental disease! & I was supposed to pay for treatment that isn’t scheduled for another like 2 weeks…Hope everyone else has a better experience

Fantastic experience: I love this place and everyone here. I've been a patient for almost 10 years now and will be for life. The place is very clean, and very pleasant with a great vibe. You're not just a patient here, they genuinely care about every person's well being and experience. Erica and Maria working the front desk are an absolute pleasure to encounter when I come in. They are so kind, genuine, professional and very hardworking. I'm very grateful for them for who they are. Amy who cleans my teeth is a pleasure to see during my visits as well. She's so kind, knowledgeable professional and very attention to detail. In the perfect profession, this is her calling and someone you want cleaning/detailing your teeth.

Fantastic experience: The service I received was excellent. From the reception area to the dental professionals. The best teeth cleaning I've ever had. Not only paying close attention to detail, I've never had anyone put a lip oil on my lips twice to keep them from getting dry while getting my teeth clean and putting vitamin E oil on my gums after the procedure was over. The only issue I had is it took a hour to call me back and 30 minutes to get started.

Negative experience: Zero stars This place is a big joke Stay away. The Dentist Ana Platon scared my son he was already nervous but she freaked him out. Not the first time she does this. Then the male dental assistant was laughing This place is very unprofessional. My whole family will be changing dental office. I've also tried contain the office manager and that is a big joke. They keep saying she's unavailable or call gets dropped.

Giving a 4 star due to a customer in the waiting room that stunk the entire office up! Guy smelled like he hot boxed in his car minutes before coming in. If it was my practice I would have refused service. There is no self awareness anymore. Sad times

Negative experience: Visit was good but when she showed me my crown that is my permanent one for my front tooth, I asked her why does it look Grey? She said maybe its the light! I still thought it looked Grey but maybe I was wrong. My eyes arent so good. They put the crown on and I went home. The first thing that my son said was "Why is it grey?" !! I knew it!!! I called immediately and was told that if I want a new one it will cost me $250... what the heck! I said I can go back over there and show you! Brenda said Dentist is very busy and she would call me back. I still haven't received a call back.

Fantastic experience: This was our first visit to Gental Dental and we were very very pleased with the staff. The girl at the front desk was very pleasant & knowledgeable. She went out of here way to help us with our cellphone & so forth. The xray technician was also very nice & knowledgeable as well. And of course the Dr. Was very helpful & explained everything that my husband needed to have done. We have another appt. coming up & were looking forward to have everything done. I would recommend everyone to visit this dentist because they really care about their patients and take very good care of them.

Fantastic experience: At first I wasn’t quite sure about this place only because I’ve already been to 3 different dentist up here, also my daughter is a nightmare patient. But I was wrong the pediatric Dentist is the best! She’s great, It’s very hard to find a good dentist. She’s patient, explains what’s going on, talk to you as a person and most importantly she’s very Patient with the patient…(“kids”). I truly recommend this place and the Pediatric dentist! Positive experience: They did not meet my expectation, the doctor wouldn’t even listen to me about what I wanted. Although they did follow up afterwards and set up an appointment to have another dentist instead of the person I met with.

Fantastic experience: I had to have an emergency procedure done. I was scared but everyone was so nice and explained everything. The dentist and oral surgeon were both excellent.

Negative experience: Was covered by my insurance so I called them and made a appointment. The person I spoke with got all my information ahead of time. I went online and filled all info and questions ahead of time. Appointment was about a month out. On the day of appointment they told us rudely that before we could be seen we had to have insurance list them as primary dentist. I told them than why didn't they say that when appointment was made. Called insurance and asked them to list Gentle Dental as primary. Insurance was like what the hell are they talking about we don't have to do that. Insurance tried reaching Gentle Dental to clarify but could not reach them. I canceled my appointment since it was too much of a hassle. Called a different Dentist, was seen and worked on the next day.

Negative experience: I had to get a loan to have one crown on my back molar With a root canal. I have dental insurance. The treatment coordinator did not bill the insurance. Instead I ended up paying almost two thousand dollars for one root canal and a crown. The treatment coordinator does not know what she is doing, be careful and know what your actual out of pocket expense should be before proceeding with any treatment plan. They never billed my insurance for a crown, and I ended up paying for all of it. I have subsequently filed a grievance. I will be expecting a refund. The insurance tried calling the dentist office to discuss this issue, the insuwas told the treatment coordinator wasn't there and wouldn't be there for another 3 hours. I'm literally on the phone and the Treatment coordinator is in fact their and the receptionist is trying to tell me she is too busy. Well my husband is there right now I guarantee that treatment coordinator will come to him with some outrageous bill before they start treatment. The way I see it she is dodging the Insurance company to avoid being accountable. The fact the insurance company was lied to about her not being there only reiterates the lack of integrity. The BEtter business bureau has many written complaints against gentle dental for doing this exact thing to numerous patients. When I first went to the dentist I had a concern about a front bottom tooth, pretty soon they do X-rays and start discussing my two back molars. I never once heard them mention my front bottom tooth. They never even cleaned my teeth. They never addressed my front bottom tooth. They went directly to the back molars that didn't even bother me. Having to get a lending club loan for one crown is absurd. I have not been back because apparently even with insurance I can't afford to sit in one of their chairs and not get scammed out of thousands of dollars. I'll be going to the state level, to pursue further grievance against this dental office. They know exactly what they are doing and it's not okay. They take advantage of patients and the fact that the average patient has no idea what dental codes mean. I'm furious just finding out that they scammed me and never billed my insurance for the crown that would have been covered with a very minimal copay.

But refused me antibiotics!! Said wait until another visit!! This will be my 3 appointment!!! Meanwhile I’m having stomach pain server dirrera!!! I’m on medication that drops my immune system which makes the infection go through my whole body!!! Causing sepsis!!! But she said wait another 2 weeks appointment!!! 3rd appointment for 1 badly infected tooth! Stomach pains & throwing up dirraree !!sepitic going threw my whole blood stream !!! They say you need antibiotics before the root canal oh could be serious problems!!

Positive experience: My first time being seen at this office. My appointment was at 2:00 so I arrived at 1:45. I was the only one in the waiting room yet I was not called to the back for over an hour. Once in the back I had my X-rays taken and again had to wait for the dentist for over an hour.

Negative experience: This is the worst dental office, or medical office, I’ve ever used. Most of the staff in the back that works on patients are amazing, helpful, and have to deal with the main doctor and front office staff’s huge shortcomings. The whole office knows that the main office dentist comes in an hour late purposely every day, which puts every patient waiting for their turn one hour behind at a minimum, usually 1.5 - 2 hours behind. I had a 3:00 checkup and cleaning, didn’t leave until 5:30. Had to go back into the front lobby between cleaning (which only takes like 20 minutes) and wait for almost an hour for the dentist to get to me, since they’re inevitably 2 hours behind at this point in the day. The front office staff is rude, they change appointments accidentally by hours or days, and they can’t answer basic questions about scheduling and simple issues. This place is a mess. Been stuck here for years with the whole family being patients there as well as using their orthodontist for braces, but we’re going to have to switch offices to somewhere who cares about their people.

Negative experience: I made an appointment here simply because it was closest to my work. Unfortunately my insurance changed and the dentist I have gone to for years isn't in my network. The choices my new insurance gave me are all chain locations which I find to not be great and they always seem to try to up sell you on something, but I didn't have much choice so I went with what was close. I called for my appointment on March 26 and I had to wait until May 23. It seemed like a long wait, but I am a new, so I excused it. I asked just for a 6 month check up and cleaning, they asked if I wanted to see the orthodontist, I said no. I received an email confirming my appt and again was reminded I could see an orthodontist. I received a reminder text soon after asking if I wanted to see an orthodontist, I replied no. I filled out the necessary paperwork on line, was asked if I was interested in an orthodontist check up, I replied no. I received about two -three other texts and emails between when I made the appt and May 19 all reminding me of my appt. I received a text on May 16th asking me to send yes to confirm. I received an email on May 19 asking the same. I received a call around 3pm on May 19 and it was the office telling me that my appt had to be rescheduled because the dentist doesn't work on Fridays. WHAT?! I had been waiting almost 2 months and they call 4 days before to say the dentist doesn't do appts that day? I asked why was I scheduled that day and the woman said it was because I must have called the call center. When I said why have I been receiving confirmation texts and emails and just now I am being told there is no appt? She replied with I can reschedule you in JULY!!!! Nope! I won't be going there. If they are this incompetent with scheduling, I don't trust them to even look in my mouth! Complete lack of professionalism. She didn't even apologize, she just made excuses.

I will definitely follow up with my appointments

Negative experience: I work in healthcare so I understand how offices work. Unfortunately this was the closest dentist that my insurance took that was the closest to me so I took that risk of coming here. I had 4 wisdom teeth removed and was extremely nervous. I have had problems with the front girls because they lost my paperwork and didn't really try to to make an effort to help me when it came to transferring my paperwork, even thought I had it in my hand they didn't want to take it and had me drive back and fourth 4 times to one dentist to another. It's called a fax machine gentle dental. Anyways I got my wisdom teeth removed and they don't wait for you to wake up after anesthetic I didn't remember anything until I actually got to my bedroom. Secondly I work in a pharmacy and I put my store address on the paper and two hours passed and I haven't received not one thing. So my sister calls to verify the address and instead of the front worker telling her she said "it's the address you gave us" not once not twice but three times and gets an attitude because my sister just wanted to verify. Thirdly I had to call them AGAIN because they did not send a mouth wash and they tell me they did? And I ask them when did they send it because I don't see it sent and she gets another attitude with me? I don't see how it's my fault when you guys are the one who are not providing the correct customer service as well as sending prescriptions that are NEEDED. I will never come here again because the fact I had 4 wisdom teeth pulled, spent 1,000 dollars, and had to deal with two rude front receptionists as well as going out my way to make sure I get my medications is ridiculous. If you can't do your job correctly maybe that is not the right field you should stay in.

Negative experience: I went to Genty Dental, a terrible experience, I waited for hours, I watched as they passed on to everyone I arrived at and I didn't. When I asked, the receptionist helped me after she finished talking to her co-worker and told me that there were people in front of me for 2 hours watching how they were calling people who arrived after me. They gave me the appointment at 2 pm and I arrive 1:30 it was 3:30.Pm and nobody calling me. I hope this helps someone.
