Fantastic experience: Very good experiences here every time so far, have been patients the past few years. The doctors, hygienists and office staff are all efficient but friendly, and professional and thorough. My appointments have had very little wait time too. Hygienist and assistant have both been thoughtful about making sure you have as little pain as possible during exams and cleanings. Rare to find a dental practice in the CNY area who takes your insurance and is also honest, with this level of service. Love this office and so thankful to have found them! I've had some bad experiences elsewhere , so this is refreshing.

Fantastic experience: Very professional and very pleasant experience. I hadn’t been to the dentist since before COVID so my teeth had some issues. I was shown what the issues were using pictures of my teeth and told how the issues could be addressed. I was able to schedule a set of appointments to address my issues prior to leaving. I feel very confident that my teeth will be back to good working order very shortly.

Fantastic experience: Let me tell you about care... ❤️ Care is: giving me a warning when there's a downpour when I'm late and not canceling me. Care is saving me my favorite stress ball because I'm an adult and needles hurt. Care is going back and forth with my insurance provider because I'm overwhelmed and Dr. Harris said those three words every woman longs to hear: I got you Care is TK giving me pillows and understanding my heart emojis with my hands when my mouth is filled with Lord knows what. Care is asking me what Playlist will make me comfortable or talking me through teeth shades with so much compassion it feels like I'm at the beauty counter and not a dentist's office. Care is knowing that these people at Berry Good Dental have only had me 6 months and will hand-clean my teeth when the whizzing and cold water touches nerves, notice when I'm squeezing the ball too tight and check-in and encourage each other while I'm in the chair so how can I not benefit from the positive vibes ✨️ It's emotional that good care feels like a gift when it should be the standard. Fantastic experience: What a great experience! I have a very sensitive mouth and dread going to the dentist but everything was perfect from beginning to end. The staff was welcoming, caring and gentle. The dentist that came in to consult was very honest and forthright explaining everything in layman's terms so I could understand it all, and I left with a game plan and an estimate of costs for my procedures broken down by self-pay and ins. Pay which was very helpful. I found a new dentist!

Fantastic experience: Best choice ever for me. The staff was great. Friendly and very knowledgeable. Everyone went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. Found my issue and established a plan in no time. Even helped me with payment options. I actually hate going to the dentist because of a past experience but I think that's a thing of the past now.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I are huge fans of Dr. Berry, Berry Dental Group and the cooperative, cohesive, best-in-class team. They have helped us with both routine needs (cleanings, fillings, root canals, our young child's first visit) and emergency needs over the last year and a half (I fell on the ice and cracked a front tooth in early December - happened on a Sat night and Dr. Berry saw me at 7.30am on Monday). We are never over-sold on treatment and I feel like my questions about options are always answered and that they truly care about our family's health.

Fantastic experience: Second time at this dentist, I never imagined I would look forward to going to the dentist. The staff here treats you not so much as a patient but rather a friend. They truly care about your best interests and do an amazing job easing your anxiety and explaining everything. There is nothing negative I can say, from the vibrant colors of the office right to the staff and especially Dr. Harris and I would fully trust his judgement in any future issues. Everything is 5 stars. Hopefully this will be a long term relationship and if anyone is looking for a dentist, your search ends here.

Fantastic experience: Best dentist in the area for sure. It was a long wait to get in, but so worth it. Love every person I've met there. Update 2/18/26: Hayat is the best hygienist I've had in a long time. She spoke to me clearly and kindly about what she saw and what I needed to watch for/do during my regular brushing. It was the very end of the day, yet she was was still super careful with my cleaning and x-rays. It reminds me why I'm so glad (and lucky!) that I get to come here, and I'll keep this as my dentist as long as I can. Such a pro, thanks Hayat!

Dr and technicians were understanding, with making sure you were informed about your care.l would recommend this place to anyone who has problems sitting in a dentist chair . They are a 5 star co ! My teeth are so clean, l didn't know what to eat.

Negative experience: I did not enjoy my experience at Berry Good Dental. I was excited based on all of the positive reviews, but my short time in the office makes me think that perhaps some of these are not real. The tech that worked with me did not explain why she was scanning my teeth during my intake appt. It was only after the scan that she tried to sell me on Invisalign, via insulting my smile by telling me my teeth were “buck-ish.” I have built in retainers so Invisalign is definitely not something I’m interested in, but I was not given the choice to even opt out of the scan to begin with. My cleaning was quick and the dental assistant told me I needed sealants on some of my teeth within 3 minutes of being in my mouth (another dentist has disproved this). I was then asked to wait 30 minutes for the dentist to see me, which I refused. This practice is a money grab and I would not trust them with my care.

Negative experience: Did not have a great experience at Berry Good Dental. They really pushed Invisalign on me, which felt more like a sales pitch rather than focusing on the health of my teeth. During my first appointment, I didn’t even see a doctor. I left feeling very uncomfortable and bummed.

Fantastic experience: They have obviously been very vigilant in upgrading the office to meet the requirements necessary to open the office in an environment that is safe for both the office staff and patients. This was my first visit and I was thoroughly impressed by the staff. Special thank you to Miss Allie for her professional and friendly approach and attitude. I highly recommend this office for service and care.

The cap I thought was chipped just needed to be placed & resealed. I was very pleased with that. That visit in the morning set the whole tone for my day which was wonderful. Negative experience: 0 stars if i could. They try to reach a quote for their whole company to go on cruises each year, so they may do work that may or may not be truly needed. I think they worry so much about doing most expensive procedures to go on cruises even if its not needed. They should instead worry about doing the right thing and the right procedure, not the ones that will cover their vacations. My whole family left and their new dentist jaws dropped when hearing this. A lot of their dental work done at this location was NOT needed.

Fantastic experience: I don’t have the best teeth so going to the dentist isn’t my favorite activity, but I’ve been going here for 5 years now and I can honestly say everyone makes me feel welcome and comfortable. Everyone says hello and is friendly. I had a cleaning yesterday and Dr. Harris came in to see me and was all smiles. It was a great feeling for the dentist to take a couple minutes to check in beforehand. I’ve had a lot of work done in 5 years and I trust this place with my teeth and oral hygiene. I can’t imagine going elsewhere. My only criticism is the strong fragrance while inside. I’m highly allergic and sensitive to fragrances and it can be unbearable with all of the plugins. When I leave, the fragrance stays on my clothes and in my hair and I have to change afterwards. It was especially hard during my pregnancies and morning sickness. Most people are there for extended periods of time so it makes it tough. My suggestion would be for them to limit the amount of air fresheners used so people with sensitivities can feel more comfortable while they’re there.

Fantastic experience: Great overall experience, the team was willing to stay late for me to get my procedure done that was time sensitive. I’ve been a patient here for years and I have always been satisfied.

Negative experience: Had been coming here for yrs. Friendly staff took care of me and my children very well. Fast forward years later. Had orthodontic work. My braces were put on without a riser being placed on my molars to keep my teeth from coming down fully and my front tooth was chipped on the bracket on my lower tooth. With the braces on the chip looked very minor. When the braces came off the chip was much worse than initially thought. I asked the office to fix my now uneven teeth. I had a crooked smile after all that time wearing braces (almost 5 yrs) . During my time wearing braces, I rarely if ever saw doctor Berry. Her assistant was the one who oversaw my orthodontic treatments and also the person who failed to put risers on my teeth. When I asked to have the issue corrected, she didn't own up to creating the problem and the new dentist refused to fix it. They actually tried to blame the shape of my tooth prior to it being chipped!! Instead of fixing the problem they suggested I spend thousands of dollars more on a veneer, of course done by their office! Instead of fixing the problem they created, they wanted me to pay for their mistake. While they may be good for cleanings, anything major I would skip with this office. Dr. Berry also made a huge mistake with my friend as well and instead of fixing the problem they wanted her to spend tens of thousands to repair a problem they caused. Never again!!

Fantastic experience: I'm a longtime user of Berry Good Dental, having made the transition to Dr. Harris. Such a transition brings a ton of questions, starting with a comparison of the new dentist to the former one + a sense of the overall continuity of care. After a lengthy visit yesterday, I am happy and more than satisfied with the care I received and the caliber of the staff.

As someone who pays out of pocket for dental care, they are always very transparent about pricing and getting approval before proceeding with a treatment and I feel their pricing is fair and reasonable!

Fantastic experience: I've been a patient of this practice for longer than I can remember. They are always forthright with their services and costs and work with me to make the dental procedures and payment process as comfortable as possible.

Negative experience: This place is wild! They will advice over $8000 of dental work WITHOUT EVEN LOOKING/POKING in your actual mouth. I’ve experienced dental offices that milk money from their patients before and this is that place. Unless you have immaculate teeth I would stay away. I have never had a dental hygienist hook the floss on my gums and she did it TWICE in the same location. Most painful dental cleaning experience I have ever had. Not only that, I put a deposit down after all the advised work and when I left realized what had happened, I cancelled my appointment within a week and requested for my deposit on the work to be refunded. Here I am over a month later having to call them to get my money back. All in all just overall RED FLAGS all around here UPDATE - found a reputable dentist (Cazenovia Creekside Dental) who found a few cavities to fix which was quoted at all of $100. What this place does to people should be considered A CRIME

Positive experience: Calls to reschedule and cancel appointments at times, which is inconvenient, but excellent service otherwise. I have trust that my family’s dental care is in great hands at Berry good dental. The staff is amazing.

Negative experience: I'm surprised by the good reviews. I was told I had nearly seven cavities and needed a deep cleaning, and began treatment with Dr. Harris. He treated me so poorly, getting very impatient with me when I informed him that something was wrong after the first treatment (which was sloppy work, I needed to get it fixed). After a second opinion, another office revealed I only had one other cavity and would be fine with a regular cleaning. Truly just bad dental work and bedside manner is nonexistent. Why go into the medical field to treat people poorly?

Negative experience: I had been with this dentist for at least a decade. We brought my kids there too and I went through a very traumatic dental issue, breaking my jaw and 6 molars. Dr. Berry was amazing back then, saw me often however the billing was a real mess. I actually figured it out myself and told them how to bill it 11 months post injury, saving myself thousands of dollars. I never recovered properly on my bite and needed orthodontic work. Fast forward to recent times, getting Invisalign through an orthodontist as dr berry did push it but I was not happy back then about customer service, timeliness of appointments, and human care. Just over a month or so later, a crown popped off and no one would put it back on for me or give me a date to when I could see them. They even said because it was old, I would need a new crown done. I 100% have PTSD from my dental trauma, cried in the office before, and they could care less. I found a new dentist finally and she said a crown should not be off for more than 24-48 hours as it risks all sorts of issues. My new dentist had empathy, compassion, and understanding, not to mention did not charge me to put crown back on and saw me right away. Dr Berry lost that along the way. She has lost so many staff over the many years except the not overly friendly receptionist and billing person. It’s a shame as I used to recommend them and now I would strongly not. I haven’t been with them for a year or so and it’s taken me this long to write this review. It hurt me to see this lack of care when I and my family has been there since the beginning my family was started.

Negative experience: I spent 3 1/3 hours getting an unnecessary root canal due to a "pressure pitch." Plus in spite of my insurance, they sought high out of pocket fees. After 2 visits I was done.

Fantastic experience: I'm so grateful to have found Berry Good Dental. They're patient, kind and genuinely care about make my toddler feel comfortable. Sejla left a positive impression on my daughter and was so gently and playful with her while doing the cleaning.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Berry Good Dental for a few years now. I absolutely love coming here, they are always so kind and courteous. I recently got an implant done. During the procedure Dr. Berry constantly checked to make sure I wasn't feeling any pain and when I did she immediately stopped and gave me more numbing. My implant is healing wonderfully and I will get my crown in October. I always leave Berry Good Dental feeling well taking care of. They truly care about their patients.

Negative experience: They will try to scam you!!! I am new to the area and chipped my tooth (very minimally). Dr Berry’s office had me send a photo and called me informing me that I would need a crown without even examining it in person. I recently switched insurances so in the interim I was planning on paying out of pocket, they quoted me over $1,200 for this service without x-rays or service fees. I felt that this seemed excessive so I went to Downtown Dental who was INCREDIBLE!!! They got me in quickly and fixed my tooth with a very very minor filling.

Fantastic experience: I am so scared of the dentist, like crying panic attacks scared. This is the first dentist that I have had a good experience with. They are so nice, explain everything, let me take my time, gave me a stress ball, etc. Kimberly was so nice and helped me feel comfortable and the doctor was really gentle when I had to get some fillings done. I would recommend this place! They make going to the dentist not horrible

Negative experience: Office staff neglected to inform me that they no longer accepted my insurance until I arrived to check in. In addition, the receptionist felt no inclination whatsoever to apologize for my blank trip. This would have been my second visit. My experience is that the doctors are great, but the office staff could definitely use some basic customer service training.

Negative experience: Whenever I go there they think of something like deep cleaning that I must have, and pay for in advance, before they can do a routine cleaning! And the price was higher than the oral debridement they did previously. They still didn’t clean my teeth after that was done. I’m now looking for a new dentist.

Negative experience: Avoid this place if you’re not a fan of headaches. Especially international students--don’t be fooled by the convenient location. While the actual service is professional when you are sitting in the chair (e.g., cleaning, dental procedures), the business model of this dentistry is anti-client. As most companies, they are only interested in making money. I waited 5 months to become their patient. In hindsight I should not have bothered. I will share two experiences for you to make up your own mind whether you want to trust them or not. First, tooth crowns. The default solution in the U.S. seems to be a tooth crown. I needed restoration and was offered tooth crowns. I asked if a simpler tooth filling would suffice, but the dentist got defensive. How dared I question the decision? Who am I to question what was being done to my mouth? I assumed good intentions and trusted the dentist’s professional judgment. So, we signed the financial agreement for two tooth crowns. 50% was covered by the insurance. Then three weeks passed between filing down the teeth and the actual crown installation. When the time came to make payments, I surprisingly noticed that they’d added an extra $133 service charge of which I had not been notified at all. This extra service was not covered by my insurance. So, the extra service was added without telling me, perhaps hoping I would not notice. Second, evasive machinations. I changed my dental insurance close to the date of my routine cleaning appointment. I still decided to proceed with the cleaning before switching the provider. As a result, I paid $130 out of pocket for the routine cleaning and chose to wait until the insurance reimburses me the money. I was assured at the front desk that they’d contact the insurance: “We’ll send your information to the insurance”. Four weeks after the appointment, I called my dental insurance to ask where my money was. The insurance said they had already reimbursed the money 3.5 weeks before directly to the dentist provider. I called the dentistry and heard, “Oh yes, we see that they sent the check. Let us start the refund process.” Radical thought: had I not called myself, they wouldn’t have called me, either. I’ve always received reimbursements directly from the insurance, without the middleman. So much for transparent client relations. I was told the refund process would take 2 weeks and they’d call me back. No one called me back two weeks later. So, I called myself. Perhaps it is the gold standard at Berry’s dental to conveniently forget the clients when it comes to returning money. This time the administrator refunded me the money over the phone. It took me almost 6 weeks to get the refund after a series of self-initiated calls and unnecessary financial transactions. At day’s end it’s a matter of fit. For me, it wasn’t a good match.

Fantastic experience: Sooooo Basically this is the one!! Im talking Great customer service from the beginning to end!! Very Courteous, Polite, Office space very welcoming, Even the music!! Katrina and Dr. Berry were the bomb! I even listened to Dr. Berry provide training and dental knowledge to her Assistant! Oh did I tell you she gave me options for honest and truthful about it all! Thank you Guralll! Oh yeah she cleaned me teeth like the champ she is!

Fantastic experience: I started Invisalign at Berry Good Dental Care in October 2023. I am a little over half way through my treatment and I am so amazed by the changes so far! If you have been contemplating changing your smile, I highly recommend this process. I thought about this for years before finally taking the plunge. While I wish I did it sooner, I am glad I am doing it with Berry Good - they have been fantastic, and so far, the journey has been smooth and easy. I will do an update at the end of the process and add some before and after pictures.

Fantastic experience: By far the best Dental office in Syracuse! From a welcoming reception to terrific hygienists, highly skilled technicians and knowledgeable billing agent, Dr Berry has assembled a fabulous team. My whole family sees her from Grandmother to grand children and don't know why you would go anywhere else. Thank you Dr Berry for the impeccable service you provide.

Fantastic experience: I was a patient at Berry Good Dental for several years but because of insurance left the practice for a few years. I am now back at Berry Good Dental and feel like I’ve come home. The quality of care that you receive here is exceptional. I have had several post major dental work visits w/ Crystal and she is the best! She always has a smile, always extremely efficient w/ her time and mine, and so knowledgeable. Like I said, the BEST!

Fantastic experience: Berry Good has warm and professional staff, short wait times, excellent communication, and they take the extra time to get to know you. The dental care is excellent too! I fully recommend them to anyone looking for a home dentist.

Negative experience: I have waited a bit to write this to see how things have gone since visiting to make a thoughtful review. While the hygienist, dentist and staff were very nice, I was told I needed a a full crown, two partial crowns and after that we would deal with the many cavities I had. I was shocked as even though I hadn’t been to the dentist in two years due to Covid, I had only ever had two cavities in the past and wasn’t feeling any pain or having any issues with my teeth. I was told I needed these done right away and needed to pay them a third down to even schedule the work. I said I needed to think about it, and made an appointment somewhere else. The new dentist told me one of my fillings would probably need to be redone at some point in the future but if it wasn’t giving me any pain that they would recommend waiting. My new dentist also saw no other issues (although they couldn’t take any x rays due to just having them done and the X-rays that Berry Good dental sent over were terrible quality and unreadable). I have been to my new dentist several more times over the past year and haven’t needed any work done at all. All this to say it feels as if Berry Good is trying to do a lot of unnecessary and expensive work and based off of this experience I couldn’t recommend.

Negative experience: Dr. Berry recommended a lot of expensive, unnecessary work, and she managed to insult my employers, too. The dental technicians are nice, though. UPDATE: I took two stars away because the extremely expensive in-office printed filling she recommended fell out of my mouth a year later and went straight down the bathroom sink drain.

Fantastic experience: I have been to many dentists over many years. I can assure you that you will find no better practice than Berry Good Dental. Dr. Berry is an exceptional dentist who is extremely experienced and does the work herself versus sending you out to endodontists, etc. In addition, she has a fantastic staff who are all friendly and helpful. Finally, Dr. Berry puts time and effort into ensuring that her practice is up to date with the newest technology which makes a huge difference in dental care, whether it's a simple cleaning or having a crown put on. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough!!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Berry and the practice has helped me restore my smile, I had sustained a traumatic fall and shattered my front teeth. With the help of Dr. Berry and her team my smile is now better than before. I can't stop smiling now!!! They also made it very affordable with out of pocket costs. I would like to to thank them again for everything they've done to help me feel myself again.

Negative experience: On my first visit, the hygienist put down her tools halfway through and called in a dentist and they both acted like all my teeth were going to fall apart and I needed massive amounts of expensive dental work. They tried to get me to pay $1,000 in advance for a $3,000 root canal. I got out of there as fast as possible and found a new dentist. I have excellent teeth 18 months later, no root canals, just 6 month cleanings. One of the women behind the desks hates her life and will attempt to make you hate yours as well.
