Fantastic experience: I once again had a very good experience at Drumlin Dental. Dr Nolan is very personable and as far as I can tell, very skilled. He works very efficiently and well. He has been my dentist for some time, doing fillings, caps, and a root canal. I’ve had no trouble with any of his work and feel grateful to have “found” him. His assistant, Ashley, is very friendly, thoughtful, considerate, and efficient. They work together very well. She takes my coat, swings my chair without bumping my feet, provides a pillow as needed for my neck, and is personable. I hope she gets to sky drive or bungee jump soon! I have also had good experiences with Kim, the hygienist who cleans my teeth. She is personable and friendly, but above all, careful and thorough in her work. Julie and Dierdre in the front office have always been very friendly. It seems like a happy, comfortable office to me.

Office staff very friendly and helpful to all, explaining dental insurance policies to one gentleman, Hygienist was so thorough and gentle. Dr. Santay has always been excellent, never making you feel rushed or less important. If u call with a problem they always get u in right away.

The dentist before Dr. Santay took great care in choosing someone to take over the practice. The care from Dr. Santay and staff is excellent. It is so important to feel you are in good hands when it comes to dental work, and I have full trust and confidence in this office. They have served me very well, both for hygiene/maintenance, and for procedures as needed. My most recent visit was for cleaning only, but the service was great, and thorough as always.

The x-rays and your record are easy to view, not behind you where only the technician and the dentist can see them. I was happy with the explanations I got and confident that we made the right decision about how to repair my broken tooth.

I had been going to a different dentist for about a decade and they were poor communicators (for example, had me come in for a drilling without telling me it was for a drilling), and the office staff was very rude. The Santay DDS office is the complete opposite. The women at the front desk are very welcoming and fun to banter with, and they explained things very well. I had my teeth cleaned, inspected, and X-Rayed by Amy; she was awesome and came across extremely skilled and competent. I have a tooth which I always gets food stuck in it and I she pulled up the xray to explain why, was very educational and thorough, and taught me a few other things I had no idea about regarding my teeth, jaw joint, and a few other things. I left understanding my own mouth better. A funny statement but true. If I could rank higher than a 5 I would.

Fantastic experience: Excellent dentist, hygienist and overall service. Lovely office and views out the windows directly in front of the patient exam chairs. I couldn’t ask for more. I understand that Dr. Santay is also the dentist for the Syracuse University Athletic Dept. and the Syracuse Crunch hockey team. And lately, he makes your crowns right there in the office. No waiting for a third party manufacturer. How cool is that. I’m a very satisfied 71-year old customer who’s been a patient here for many years. My wife, too.
