I especially want to shout out to my hygienist, Breanna. She is kind and thorough. I leave the dentist feeling like I've just visited a spa.

Negative experience: I have been a patient at this practice for seven years, along with my entire family. Today, I needed to reschedule an appointment on short notice my second such instance this year due to work conflicts. I was informed that a punitive administrative fee would be applied for the late change. The administrative staff appeared indifferent to the circumstances and did not provide any solutions, even at the risk of losing long-standing patients. Customer loyalty is built on a consistently positive experience, both in and out of the dental chair. Empathy, flexibility, and a solutions-oriented approach should be core values. Not rigid policies without consideration. That said, the clinical staff and facility are excellent, and the dentists are highly skilled. However, the overall service experience, particularly on the administrative side, needs improvement.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Henderson is the most attentive , careful, and knowledgeable dentist I have ever been to in 68 years of going to dentists throughout the country! His entire staff is thorough and kind and has helped me immensely, in spite of my lifelong fear of dentistry. The advanced professional training of Dr. Henderson and all the employees is impressive and comforting. Their superior technology (including crowns made on site, etc) is rare. Their clear explanations and endless patience make the experience as great as can be- even for a completely scared patient like me. Special thanks to Lisa, Jennifer, Breanna and the very helpful women at checkout. With gratitude to Dr. H, Olivia and Derek for all you do for all of us.

Fantastic experience: Efficient and thorough, very up front with what’s covered by insurance and what procedures will cost out of pocket. Pro-tip: drive slow so you don’t pass their office!

Positive experience: I’ve been going to this practice for over a decade, but now that must come to an end. Let me briefly explain why. The dental practice of Jason Henderson is good overall — as long as you carry the right insurance. Jason and his team decided to drop Delta dental recently. So now, the office charges me full rate for all procedures, even routine cleaning. I used to be covered at 100% by insurance until my final visit there last week. I ended up paying nearly 60% of the cost of cleaning plus x-rays they ordered. To put this in further perspective, I was quoted nearly $800 for 3 fillings and my insurance would have covered 100% cost until Jason dropped Delta. Those fillings will now cost me over $400 out of pocket. No thanks, I will find a new dentist.

Fantastic experience: This is the first dentist office I actually enjoy visiting. Dr. Henderson is definitely the best dentist I have ever had. I've visited for multiple appointments this year, first visit (X-ray and cleaning) which was amazing thanks to the great dental hygenist, cavity fillings, and dental bonding work. He's been nothing but supportive, provided great recommendations and feedback, and does amazing work. I was worried about gaps in my teeth and he provided multiple options in different budgets. You could never tell I had gaps in my teeth or a big chip in one of my front teeth after the work he put in. Thanks for the upgraded smile. Note: Dr. Henderson provides detailed reasons as to why the work should, could, or needs to be done and is clearly incredibly knowledgeable. He is also amazing at making you feel comfortable while they're doing work.

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Henderson's staff, office, and the dentists here. Beautiful offices, welcoming attitudes from everyone that works here, and best of all - gentle dentistry. It always feels like they are using modern equipment and techniques, even though I am very unqualified to say so :) For anyone who is looking for a dentist, scared of the dentist, or on the fence, I can confidently say you'll be glad you called them!

Negative experience: I feel like I was upsold on product that was not a good option for me (an expensive treatment that made me vomit), and then on top of that, I was pressured to see a particular periodontist regardless of whether that provider was in-network for me ("Don't try to find another periodontist if this one is out-of-network"). Maybe with folks valuing the "architectural digest" office space, as one reviewer puts it, this practice is for people who don't have a budget.

Fantastic experience: The office is absolutely out of an architectural digest magazine. It’s beautiful! I was greeted warmly, waited no more than 3 minutes and offered water/coffee. I was explained exactly what would be happening, and what to expect. The doctor took a detailed look at the area in question, gave me three treatment plan options and is working with my insurance for care. I came to this office for a consult for an implant and am leaving a permanent patient. A+++

Fantastic experience: Yesterday I made a visit to Dr. Henderson Dental Office, to have my scheduled cleaning and 2 fillings. Punctual as aways never late. Dr. Henderson and his Assistant are amazing. Dr. Henderson always explains what he is doing. Kind and gentle. The best dental office I have been to. I travel around 50 minutes to get to his practice from Cortland and would go no where else. They all know what they are doing and work as a team. This was my second time having Jessica as my dental hygienist. She is absolutely wonderful. She is so kind, and gentle when cleaning my teeth. She took the time explaining what I could do to help the tartar built up on my teeth. She suggested a water pick, she even took the time to show me how to use the water pick and the different heads to use and how to use them..gave me a lot of great pointers. She even wrote through directions down for me. I purchased a water pick from the office that day and can't wait to start using it. If looking for a new dental office look no further Dr. Henderson and his staff are the best. Thank you again, Deborah.

Fantastic experience: This is a very friendly and professional office. Dr. Henderson and staff are the best oral care people that I have had in my lifetime and I have been around for a number of years. My recent work included Dr. Henderson constructing a "bridge" to fill a rather large gap in my mouth due to missing teeth. The pain was minimal and my "bridge " fits like a "glove" I highly recommend this office for anyone.

Negative experience: My son tried to make an appt and was told no because he had not been there in 2 years. He is in college and unfortunately could not do the dates that were offered to him. Yes, he is 21 but neither myself/husband (insurance carrier) or my son were ever told this rule. And I did ask for the office manager to give me a call to find out about this rule and of course no call back was ever made.

They are the kindest individuals I have encountered in a dentist office that the one place I HATE to go to, I do not mind at all going for any appointment. Fantastic experience: I have gone to this dentist for a long time now and they’ve always been very kind, they always get me right into the chair too. I’ve never had to wait for more than maybe 2 mins. Recently, I had to get a cavity taken care of. I am absolutely petrified of needles and did not know what this experience would be like. Dr. Henderson and his assistant Derek were AMAZING. They made me as comfortable as possible, listened to me when I said that I typically require a higher dose of anesthetics and made sure that if it was needed they would do so before proceeding with the procedure. They did everything swift and thorough and all with so much compassion. 10/10 recommend. Thank you all for your kindness and service!

Negative experience: Experience not good. Surprised the rating is 4.9. Custom service very arrogant. Update: Had teeth cleaning and xray on 12/26/2024. The hygienist was a young woman who appeared new. She was cold and impatient, spoke like giving orders. She did not give me any updates about my teeth. Also she measured my gum line by herself. I remember this is a two people job: one meausures and announces while the other one records. I do not know how she can do it by herself and remember which is which. She looks like she does not like her job.
