Fantastic experience: My kid’s first dentist wanted to send her to the hospital to get anesthesia for dental work. Instead I took her to Dr Ching who has been able to complete all of her dental work with only numbing her. If you have a kid who gets anxious at the dentist or has been traumatized by one in the past, Dr Ching is the answer!

Then we found Dr. Nick. He genuinely likes kids, is very respectful and understanding of their fears, and is great at making them feel safe. Fantastic experience: Our regular dentist does not perform dental surgery for children and referred us to another dentist. Our daughter came to Dr. Nick after the receptionist at the referral dentist told us to call Dr. Nick! It was our daughter's first (and hopefully last) cavity and we were at our wit's end with where to take her. We were so overwhelmed with worry about how she would do ... whether she needed general or local anesthesia, if she would be scared or calm, how much pin she would be in ... not to mention the cost and insurance aspect! Dr. Nick was fantastic and so was his staff! First, the office was so inviting. It's decorated with an awesome theme that really puts children (and nervous parents) at ease. Next, he really made our daughter feel welcomed. His staff even welcomed her little sister. They told her and us exactly what they were going to do and exactly how they were going to do it. They really explained everything well so that she understood it as a child but wasn't afraid. They sent us cute reminders and information via email so that we would be well-prepared for next visit with her tooth was actually being extracted. They even called and explained the insurance portion very clearly to us so that we were prepared for everything. When we arrive for the extraction visit, they were absolutely on time and ready for us. They made our daughter feel very comfortable with everything that they were going to do. They even let her wear a pair of fun sunglasses and watch Moana while they were doing the extraction. They took a mold of her teeth, did the local anesthesia and did the extraction in no time flat! They even let her pick a prize out of the prize box, gave us her "sick tooth" in a special box and gave her a gold dollar from the "tooth fairy"! We go back for them to put in spacers in a few weeks. Our daughter is very excited!

Fantastic experience: Since our daughter was three, she has LOVED going to her dentist appointments with Dr. Nick (even for cavity fillings!) He is kind, patient, knowledgeable and funny.

Fantastic experience: Excellent care from every staff member and Dr. Nick. The dentist office is like a day spa for children. My three-year-old Granddaughter said she was "Scared" until we got there and then she was calm and happy and had a great examine.

Fantastic experience: 2019: Managed to do x-rays with the sensitive little guy! Edit 2026: We ended up trying 4 other dentists because the kiddo hated the flat table vs regular chairs. And then the kiddo needed a tooth extraction and we tried a fifth place. In the end we came back to Dr. Nick and had a much better experience. They know how to help with anxious and neurodivergent kids and worked with me to practice desensitizing the kiddo at home by telling us what to expect clearly. They also did a better job offering options and explaining choices like silver diamine flouride and flouride gel.

Fantastic experience: This review is long overdue. I have been to several different dentists with my children as we have moved from place to place, and Children's Dentistry is by far the best! Dr. Nick and his team are truly exceptional. They really do care about each child and make sure to answer any questions. I feel like my children are in excellent hands and getting the best care possible. The staff is so friendly and gentle with them, and they make it a fun experience. Very impressed!

He’s such a positive guy, he makes de that visits so cheerful for the kids (and parents). Can’t recommend them enough. We first found Dr. Nick when our 2 year old broke a tooth and we didn’t have a dentist yet. He was amazing - they handled a dental surgery on a wiggly, upset 2 year old like the pro he is. Everything since has been great too. 9 years and 2 kids in, we’re still big fans.

Fantastic experience: Finally, a dentist visit my anxious kid actually felt good about. We had a really great experience with Dr. Ching and the team. My child can get anxious, especially with people working close to her, but they were so calm, patient, and respectful of her space. They didn’t rush her and gave her small choices, which helped her relax a lot. The office is super clean and very kid-friendly—games, a movie playing, and a little prize at the end made it fun right away. Dr. Ching was kind and made sure my child felt heard, and by the end she was even comfortable enough to ask a question. Check-in was quick and everything felt really organized. Fantastic experience: Brought my 5 year old and 2 year old together for a routine check up appointment and it was great to have Dr. Nick’s team so organized to have both kids seen at the same time! Fantastic experience: Always a great experience with Dr Nick and his staff. We have been coming since my son was around age 3 (he is now almost 11), and he is a very nervous patient. We have been able to get through cleanings, fillings, X-rays, and even a tooth extraction with minimal drama. The reception staff is also very friendly, professional, and helpful with scheduling and dealing with insurance.

My oldest son has a very sensitive gag reflex, and through a couple of visits, they are now experts at making sure the treatments and x-ray procedures do not trigger it. The level of care is exceptional, and we are so grateful that dentist visits no longer ends with tears and a throw up mess of a puddle.

Fantastic experience: You couldn't ask for a better kid's dentist with Dr. Ching. I pay out of pocket for his services because his professionalism can't be matched by the providers in my network. I was recommended to him by a friend when I needed a second opinion on a crown for my daughter. While Dr. Ching agreed with my in-network dentist opinion, I decided to go with him for the treatment. His office is quiet, calm, clean and organized. The staff are friendly and informative. And when Dr. Ching comes in, he's goes right to work. His focus is like a skilled surgeon. You walk out knowing you got the best service for your kid and thats all I care about at the end of the day. If you're worried about your kids dental work, I highly recommend going to him for peace of mind and a gentle hand when working with kid's teeth. If you need big treatment like us, he also calls at the end of the day to see how your kid is doing. I really can't speak highly enough of Dr. Ching and his office staff.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Nick and his team always take good care of my kiddos. My son had cavities filled a couple days ago. For as long as we’ve been going there, he is clear and comforting before and during any procedure. Following the procedure, he follows up with a phone call after to debrief and ask if there are any issues and questions.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Nicholas Ching’s office is a kid-friendly haven. The spacious and colorful sea themed wait area features a few play stations and a fish tank, which my son was really drawn to. As you walk in, there is a “Welcome” board straight ahead - at the back wall, that had my son’s name on it, and as well other children who I assume had an appointment that day. It was my 3-year-old son’s first dentist visit, and surprisingly, he did exceptionally well. He didn’t cry or scream, which made me incredibly proud. The hygienist was exceptionally gentle and ensured my son’s comfort. During the teeth polishing, my son was startled by the loud drill-like sound, but after the hygienist showed him the tool, let him touch it, and rest the polish head on his tooth to show him it wasn’t going to cause him any pain, he was at ease. The exam room also has a TV on the ceiling right above the examining bed where they played Paw Patrol, which I believe plays a huge factor in distracting my son, or perhaps we were simply having a great day. Overall, we had a wonderful first experience. The whole office team was wonderful! At the end of the exam we were given a goody bag with all the dental goodies (e.g., toothbrush, floss extender for easy flossing, and toothpaste, etc.). The assistant also provided a gold coin for the gum-ball machine at the end as well, which made my son burst into excitement and as soon as he got his little toy, he was so appreciative and thanked the staff for his toy. Last, but not least, Dr. Ching exudes positive energy and answered all my questions and concerns with clarity and explanation. He explained the process and procedures very well and made me feel comfortable and at ease. I highly recommend Dr. Ching as a pediatric dentist.

Fantastic experience: My son (4 years old) just had his 1st appointment with Dr Nick. I admit I wasn’t sure how it would go since he was not cooperative at the last dentist we went to, but he was amazing here. At first, he was little skeptical, but as soon I laid him down and he saw the movie playing on screen, he seemed ok. The hygienist Mr Jon (I believe that was his name) was the perfect amount of friendly and professional. He got through the cleaning so thoroughly and perfectly. My son even gave 2 thumbs ups when asked if he was ok! X-rays were done really quickly too. Dr Nick himself was gentle with my kiddo and talked us through our options clearly. I love the “report card” summary they give at the end. My kiddo absolutely enjoyed picking out a toy at the coin machine! The whole staff created such a smooth experience… we didn’t wait long and we never felt rushed. It’s impressive how they’re able to do that, really. I appreciated the whole experience so much. It’s a relief they know we found a dentist we can trust!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Nick is the best. My kids have been seeing him for 10+ years and even though we moved out of the immediate area, we still see him. My son’s front tooth was knocked out by a baseball and we called Dr. Nick and he cleared his schedule and had us bring our son in to see him immediately. When we arrived, he was ready with his team to treat him. Dr Nick also helped us coordinate with a specialist to assess what the overall impact to losing that tooth would be. My son had to get a flipper tooth and lost it within a week at camp. It was a couple thousand dollars and Dr Nick was so kind he only charged us for his cost which was $300 to replace it. Dr Nick totally did not have to do that. Dr Nick is amazing at his profession and also genuinely cares for his patients. We are so lucky that Dr. Nick is our kids’ dentist!

Fantastic experience: My children go to Dr. Ching's practice and they like the many distractions he offers (video screens, games, etc). I like the way he and his staff treat us, making sure that we understand what they are doing and what the next steps should be. Plus Dr. Ching is well-suited to be a pediatric dentist because he's like a big kid, so full of enthusiasm and cheer for his patients. We really like this dental practice and just wish it was closer to us.

Fantastic experience: My 4-year-old daughter is very anxious and fearful of the dentist, and her previous experiences at another office were pretty unpleasant and unwelcoming. So I decided to try Children’s Dentistry based on all the positive reviews. While her appointment was still a challenge and there were tears, it was still the most pleasant it could have been, and that is probably the biggest compliment I could give. Dr. Nick and his staff were kind, positive, and very patient, and I love the super kid-friendly environment and little extras they do to make a child feel welcome.

Fantastic experience: My husband took the little one to the dentist because I had to work. However, I felt relieved once my kiddo called and was super happy to tell me all about her visit and cleaning! It was her first ever visit, and she had no fear!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Nick and his team are great. He sees both my kids. The team go over everything they’re going to do with the kids and have them pick what color tooth brushes they want and flavor for their teeth. They have a great welcoming environment that makes it a little easy to recover from a cleaning when my kids have felt scared.

Fantastic experience: 10/10. We've been with Dr. Nick & his team for over a year - two regularly scheduled visit (including our toddler's first ever) and one emergency visit this week. I can't recommend him enough - he's cheerful and thorough and kind, and his staff - from front desk to dental assistants are just SO warm with our daughter. Great at reading her energy and responding thoughtfully. Absolutely recommend!

My son is so squirmy and can barely sit still, but Dr. Nick managed to get a cleaning in - floss, brush, and do a flouride treatment - all very quickly. The waiting room is also great filled with lots of toys - such a sweet environment. Highly recommend!!!
