Fantastic experience: I came in asking about internal bleaching because of tooth discoloration from a root canal, and they were able to do it the same day! I had an internal bleaching done a year ago at another place, but I didn’t get the results I wanted. Now, two days after the procedure here, I love the result! Dr. Ibrahim was thorough and gentle during the procedure. I highly recommend!

Negative experience: My first experience was a very positive one- Dr George filled 2 small cavities, and he was lovely and did wonderful work. I looked forward to being a long-term patient. But the filling work naturally caused misaligned fit of my night guard, causing jaw pain and headaches from grinding overnight. When I called the front office to see if either dentist could make a 10 minute adjustment to my night guard the next day (a Wednesday), they said they wouldn’t be able to see me until 6 days later (the following Tuesday). It’s disappointing that they would leave a patient experiencing pain hanging for 6 days when all it would take is a 10 minute night guard adjustment. I understand the only dentist was in surgery that day, but it still doesn’t justify a delay of almost a week to be seen. After I shared I was disappointed, and then left a review, they called back later and said they suddenly could fit me in that day. I appreciated the call back, but it shouldn’t have taken what I assume was the negative review to initiate action. Meanwhile another Berkeley practice went out of their way to squeeze me in that same day, understanding that jaw pain and headaches aren’t something someone should be left to deal with for a week. I’m not someone who leaves negative Google reviews, as you can see from my other posts. In fact, I’ve only ever left 5-star reviews of businesses I support. Overall this seems like a great practice, but in this situation, I’m highly disappointed by the level of this patient care.

Fantastic experience: Tucked away on Solano Ave, this is a great dentist. Extremely friendly staff and no judgement or condescension which is a plus. They get straight to the point, quick in and out and reasonable rates. Thanks! 4-year patient Update: I continue to be thrilled I chose these guys. Fantastic experience: I went to see Dr. George for someTM pain that has been excruciating. He was very nice and thorough. He found a crown from a different dentist that was possibly causing the problem. He ground it down to a good height and so far things are much better. If I need more treatment, I will be very happy to come back here. The staff is wonderful, and my experience was top-notch.

Fantastic experience: This has to be one of my best experiences at a dental office. This is my first visit to Berkeley Hills Dentistry, having relocated back to Berkeley recently. Everything was so efficient and I was in and out of the office in less than 45 minutes, from checking in and going through my paperwork to the cleaning. Dr. George Ibrahim was great and so were the entire staff.

Fantastic experience: Just had my first visit with this excellent practice. I’ve been experiencing mouth pain that my previous dentist could not figure out. 10 minutes with Dr. George and I knew what was wrong and how to fix it! Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: No nonsense, no shaming, went in for a crown replacement and consult on an overdue new crown. Everyone professional and courteous, appointment was on time. Got the services I needed in less than 1/2 hour, got a follow up appointment in less than two weeks with a billing estimate for future services ready to go. Very pleased.

Positive experience: I had a very good first experience with Dr. George Ibrahim and support staff. It was extremely refreshing to be there. I received great treatment from all staff. Dr. George was calm and direct, and communicated with me really well indeed. I learned a lot from him. And he personally cleaned my teeth. The office itself was fresh and well-put together. To my surprise, the view was lovely, both in the ceiling and through the window to the elm tree canopy. His hygienist Shoo is so gentle. When she cleans my teeth, I practically fall asleep. The office location is convenient and there is plenty of parking. I have had prior dentists over many decades. Fantastic experience: This was the best dental experience I've ever had! The front staff was great and had really nice energy. Sue did a very thorough job cleaning my teeth. She was gentle, kind and patient. She did an amazing job! Dr. Tapaltsyan was very pleasant! Going to the dentist gives me anxiety due to poor experiences in the past. He genuinely listened to me when I got a little emotional about my past experiences with other dentist. I have dental issues, which is also why my anxiety level is so high when going to the dentist (fear of judgement). Dr Tapaltsyan was understanding and very reassuring. After the exam he explained to me the details of my treatment plan as if I walked in with minor issues, not pushy at all. That really made me glad, I'm so excited for what's to come!

Fantastic experience: this was probably the most efficient dental visit i’ve had. period. in and out of there in 40 minutes. needed to patch a back molar filling that popped out. super friendly, professional, and didn’t try to price gouge with extra services.

Fantastic experience: Sure this place is nice, clean, professional, and upscale vibes. But this is 100% the best dentist for kids! I’ve been taking my kids here for about a year now and they LOVE it. This is my dentist too but for kids, it’s amazing. Super easy parking, and my 4 and 5 year old love the vintage elevator.

Even though I hadn’t scheduled an appointment, the dentist kindly made time to clean my tooth and then skillfully reattach it. They also took an X-ray to ensure the foundation was solid, which gave me great peace of mind. I truly appreciate their professionalism and kindness in handling my situation on short notice. Fantastic experience: Let’s just say I was looking for a miracle And they were able to deliver. I did my research and while there are many dentists you can choose and you can go many routes, I’m very happy with the route I’ve taken thus far….. that said, I’m not completely out of the teeth woods just yet :@ (full arch replacements both upper and lower) Continued: Now that the process is complete.... and follow up set for 6 months. My parents both have or had difficult teeth and mouths and they shared that gift with me and my mouth had taken a serious beating by my early forty', and mid forty I was already missing teeth and things were headed the wrong direction and fast. Berkeley Hills Dentistry to the rescue and I do mean rescue. I mean I used to wear false teeth and never ever smiled, and now due to the amazing work of the entire staff at Berkeley Hills Dentistry I'm gonna have to learn to smile again.

I first stepped into this dental office years ago seeking to fix a painfully botched job done by another dentist. The previous dentist disregarded the health of my natural teeth and left me with lifelong dental complications by aggressively removing an excessive amount of tooth structure. This was an embarrassing, uncomfortable, traumatic, and highly sensitive situation — until I became a patient at Berkeley Hills Dentistry, where I was cared for, my situation corrected, and I finally found some peace of mind. Dr. T is the best and most trustworthy dentist I have ever known. He prioritizes health and does everything in his power to preserve your natural teeth. I don’t trust anyone else. Even after moving back home to Nevada from college, I still fly in for dental work because no other office I’ve visited measures up. I can’t thank Dr. T and his team (especially Cat) enough for their amazing bedside manner & service. If you’re thinking of addressing any dental needs whether health-related or cosmetic, look no further. I am proof of their competency and professionalism in both aspects (got a nice set of veneers here).

Fantastic experience: Who loves getting a cleaning? I used to resist but at BHD it’s relaxing, super quick and tailored directly to my questions. I appreciate the guidance (I am 43) for on-going care and on what’s true about recent trends. Our kids are 4 & 5, these are hectic days! We had a wonderful experience w BHD. From our first call, they sent gentle reminders, all forms online and then a whole team full of smiles to welcome us. Their offices are immaculate, the care was efficient and our kids got TWO prizes at the end! Thank you for teaching us what to expect next for their teeth and development and making our visit so easy.

Fantastic experience: This was my third time and I am definitely going back. The hygienist was very calm and competent and gave me the missing last time goody bag. I am pleased with how my teeth look. The dentist was different than the one I met with before, and he had not reviewed my file - neither did the hygienist- so he didnt know my dental history and made paternalistic and imperious pronouncements that assumed he knew better than me, "I dont need an X-ray, I already know what is going on. It happens often and is no big deal" was one of two doozies. I really missed the other dentist's better listening, ability to show that he cared about his patients, and his familiarity with my medical history. Maybe he is a brilliant dentist but a better manner would go a long way.

I have really sensitive teeth and this has been the first dental office to actually listen to my needs and try to accommodate them and make me feel comfortable.

Fantastic experience: Had a dental emergency and Dr Tapaltsyan took time out of his holiday to see me. I arrived and was greeted immediately and escorted for a c scan followed by an assessment and recommendation to resolve my issue. I was well taken care of and rescheduled for a procedure for tomorrow.

When the tooth was checked it was determined that the filling was intact and nothing was required at this time and, importantly, there was no attempt to upsell me anything.
