Fantastic experience: They are so caring and patient and thoughtful about what the dentist experience is like for children. They take the time and have the flexibility for little ones to actually get familiar and comfortable with what is happening so they are not as afraid. We appreciate Aloha so much.

Fantastic experience: I've been bringing my child here for 4 years. They are great with children and know how to interact with them and make them comfortable. The staff and dentists are very human and understanding they do everything they can to make sure your child's dental needs are taken care of. Dr. Khosrovani has shown such kindness and compassion towards us when I needed it most.

Fantastic experience: Aloha is really great. My 4-year-old actually said that he loves the dentist. He is always happy to go. And they have done a great job keeping his teeth clean and healthy. All the staff are super nice and very on top of things.

Fantastic experience: Dr Amita Ruehe and the team at Aloha Pediatric dentistry are the best! They are very friendly and kind, putting the kids and parents at ease. The parents can sit inside on seats by the wall - keeping us in the loop and informed. They give the kids direct feedback, involving them personally in their own care of their teeth. Empowering and encouraging good oral hygiene. We have a 14 yr old daughter and nearly 11yr old son and still no cavities yet! Even though we moved to Alameda we don’t mind going to Berkeley - - they are definitely worth the drive!

Fantastic experience: The staff here are friendly and understanding with little kids and they have child-sized equipment that they allow parents to sit on and there’s prizes to take home at the end of the visit.

Fantastic experience: We have found an amazing dental practice who has helped our son overcome fear of the dentist. Dr. Amita Ruehe is a wonderful dentist! She has been taking care of my son for a while now and her kind and caring demeanor along with her expertise makes him very comfortable during his dental visits. We have been to several other dental offices and have found our home for dental needs and drive sometimes over an hour just to have him be treated by her as her customer service and empathy are top notch, this is very hard to find nowadays. Thank you for everything!

It's been such a great experience bringing my toddler daughter here the last couple of years and watching her get so confident in visiting the dentist.

Fantastic experience: Aloha is the best! They are excellent for my neurotypical kid and outstanding with my anxious and dare I say salty neurodiverse kid. They even give him a special no-other-kids slot so he is not extra triggered (or triggering). Thank you Aloha! Moving out of the area and you will be missed!!!!

Negative experience: You should know in advance that Aloha bills dramatically in excess what most dental plans cover. We have Delta Dental. My son came in for a regular cleaning and regularly scheduled x-rays. Delta Dental covers $187. Aloha charged $572.

Fantastic experience: We visited another dentist prior to this one… and mom had to wheedle, bribe, and negotiate to get our 3yo’s mouth open for one minute to have his teeth looked at. It was unimaginably different here at Aloha. Our 3yo had a full inspection and cleaning, laughed in the middle of it, learned how to spit, and no tears were shed. Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: I took my two kids to Aloha this morning and they were seen by Layla and Omar. I can't even describe how amazing their bedside manner is. They knew exactly how to relate to both kids to ease any stress they might have been feeling. And Dr. Ruehe was equally amazing! There is such positive energy in this dental office. My kids are excited to go to the dentist!!!

Fantastic experience: I took our 2-year-old twins here for their first visit and was completely blown away by the quality of service and how expertly it is tailored to the needs of young children. (Extra shoutout to Theresa, who had them enthralled with all the instruments.) I went in prepared for trauma, and instead my kids asked if they could go back the next day too. Hard to imagine it going better!

Fantastic experience: We love Aloha Pediatric Dentistry! My 4 year old son usually gets anxiety, cries and screams at the dentist up until we started coming here. The staffs are so sooo patient and experienced with kids. We had Marlee for our dental assistant last time and this time, we had Omar. He was just as great also! They always give my son time to adjust and we never feel rushed. It was definitely great experience today again. Definitely recommend this dental office for kids!

Fantastic experience: Our daughter (2y5m older) had an appointment with Dr Khosrovani and her team. It was amazing. The office in Berkeley is nice and clean, full with colorful decoration for kids. Also, the dentist and her team were very gentle and nice with my little one.

Fantastic experience: My kids have been coming here for 15 years. Their professionalism with a pediatric focus is unsurpassed. Watching the team work together between patients is seamless, efficient and always ensures great hygiene practices. It is a calm, peaceful and cheerful environment. Everyone adjusts their approach based on the age of the patient. They take the time to make everyone (patient and family) feel safe, heard and cared for. My only wish is that they took adult patients. I highly recommend Aloha Pediatrics.

Fantastic experience: We've really enjoyed our time at Aloha Pediatric Dentistry so far. Dr. Arnold has been warm, knowledgeable, and very clear in his explanations. My 5-year-old has come in for a first-time evaluation and two fillings. She did not enjoy the fillings at all but the Nitrous helped and the staff did a good job of supporting her throughout the procedure. We'll be back for a cleaning soon!

They are amazing!!!! We love them!! This time, Dr. K extracted a baby tooth that was crumbling after all this time; his calm, quiet, positive manner made it go unbelievably smoothly. We were super bummed when they stopped accepting Delta and it says a lot that we still see Dr. Ameneh at least once a year, despite the insurance issues. My kids are not afraid of the dentist thanks to Dr. Ameneh, who is sweet, knowledgeable and goes above and beyond.
