Positive experience: 5 stars for Dr Edward Davis, DDS. What a thorough exam & a perfect treatment plan for me. - 1 star. The check in is a LOT. Not only can't you do things at your leisure from home but I was told, there is no way to do it on paper. Only from a app that they send you after arriving, that you need to navigate through pages & pages to complete. Sometimes having to close down the app to find your referring Dr's address & phone number & other stuff they required. I am a disabled senior & I can not do forms on my cell phone with ease & in a timely manner.

Positive experience: Brennan did a great job of explaining all procedures beforehand. Morgan was also very friendly and helpful. Since it was a first visit, Dr. Dudzik didn’t really do much work but was professional and pleasant too.

Fantastic experience: Clean, professional, kind and respectful. Because I have had head & neck radiation l needed a dentist I could trust. Also the dental assistant put me at ease with her humor

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to this office for a couple years now and best I’ve been to! All the hygienists are very friendly and professional. Front desk staff is always welcoming. Dr. Dudzik genuinely cares about his patients and provides excellent care. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dentist! My kids also love going and always get to pick something from the treasure box!

Fantastic experience: I love my dental hygienist Ashleigh! She makes me feel relaxed and happy as she expertly cleans my teeth while she informs me of better dental cleaning tips. Ashleigh is a delight to visit as is Dr. Dudzik and his entire staff. They care well for me and make me feel like I’m visiting good friends. I’ve referred friends to Dr. Dudzik’s practice who are super impressed with his knowledge, expertise and professionalism as well as the kind and friendly atmosphere he maintains. Today Linda was able to fit me in for a check up with Dr. Dudzik because i have been experiencing nerve pain in my face. With the kindest and most helpful care Dr D was able to rule out any dental issues. He put my mind at ease with his careful examination. I so appreciate the staff treating me like family in my time of need!

The hygienist did a great job and provided additional tips to improve my oral hygiene. Dr. Dudzik identified and discussed any issues, and laid out a plan of treatment. I very much appreciate that I did not feel pressured to make any immediate decision regarding my treatment.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Carlsbad Village Dentistry for 7 years… Like many people, I generally don’t like going to the Dentist… That being said, I ‘almost’ enjoy my visits there… The staff is really great… Linda, the Office Manager is a joy and is the battery of the office… She will take the Dental Insurance Co. to task and advocate for her patients… Ashleigh, Megan, and Sam are all wonderful… There are still needles and drills, but they all make it OK… My parents paid a lot of money (that they didn’t have) to put braces on my teeth, and I owe it to them to take care of them… I highly recommend Carlsbad Village Dentistry if you want to take care of your teeth…Dr. Dudzik is a perfectionist and does excellent work.

Fantastic experience: I love going to the dentist. That’s weird, I know, but it’s true. Linda is at the front desk, always ready to greet you with a smile and some lovely conversation. Ashley is the sweetest and best hygienist in the world. She is super thorough and provides step by step explanation of what she is doing, as well as pointers on how to maintain good hygiene at home. And she is really impressive in her ability to understand a person that is chatting with a hand in their mouth. Haha. Megan assists with my Invisalign and she is also absolutely wonderful. She’s the kind of person whose entire demeanor and contagious laugh can put a smile on your face. And last but not least, the doc. Dr. Dudzik is the kind of man who would stack his team with a group of the best humans and provide an environment where they take time to get to know the patients and create this lovely and safe space. He’s also great at his job. Before coming to Carlsbad Village my dental care was lacking, to say the least. He helped me to make a reasonable plan and repair what had been neglected, over time. I am in MUCH better shape today as a result. If your dentist isn’t amazing and doesn’t have the best team ever, then you should ditch them and come here. Carlsbad Village Dentistry is the best.

Fantastic experience: I've been fortunate to have had really good dentists in the past, but the level of professional and personal treatment I have received at Carlsbad Village Dentistry is hands down the best I've ever experienced. I've been going there for 10+ years now, and it's gotten to the point where I actually look forward to my next appointment - the quality of work is amazing, and everyone on the staff contributes to an atmosphere of friendliness and genuine care.

Negative experience: I was very excited to receive my first cleaning and whitening service at this office but left extremely disappointed. :( Unfortunately my experience was very negative in that it appeared that the dental assistant did not know what they were doing for an in-service whitening. The initial assistant had to seek guidance from someone else and then a third person came in to assist but during the process they used improper levels of lighting they bleached my gums I couldn't even continue the full treatment. When the timer on the devices went off there was no one in sight everybody took a lunch break at the exact same time and left me sitting there with my mouth wired open having to get up and walk around to look for someone to finish my service! In the end the $500 service was only discounted $100 and I left with bleached gums that have been sore for over a week now and my teeth are not even whiter due to the fact that I was unable to finish the service because of the improper usage of tools and the injury to my gums. I have done various whitening treatments over the years and never ever have I experienced such a disorganized Dentistry in which the on-site manager didn't even know someone was being provided a whitening service that day nor did she seem to have knowledge of how many clients were even in the building. It's been a week and no one has even called to see if I'm okay despite stating that they would be following up with me the next few days I haven't heard back from anyone and I was still charged over $400!!! Horrible first experience.

Also, they are always accommodating with scheduling appointments, very efficient with insurance billing, and sharing X-rays and dental information with other dentistry professionals, e.g. DMD’s and BSDH, RDHAP. Fantastic experience: Very gentle. I normally cringe when I go to the dentist, but now that I go here, it's not so bad. They are very detailed and take care of all my needs and also help me prevent my teeth from getting cavities. They are all very nice and professional at the same time. They know how to make me feel comfortable whether I'm getting my teeth cleaned or taking care of a cavity or two. When gettimgba cavity, the needle for the numbing always hurt really bad until I came here. I don't know his trick but I like it.

Fantastic experience: Prior to finding Carlsbad Village Dentistry I had the unfortunate displeasure of a poor dental experience elsewhere. I was concerned damage was permanently done, that an issue that was created wasn't reversible or fixable. Up until then I had always enjoyed going to the dentist, as I have never had a bad dental experience. Carlsbad Village Dentistry has honestly restored my faith. They are honest, trustworthy, and they will never CREATE circumstances for financial gain. Everyone treats you with professionalism, they are genuine and honest people. Fantastic experience: carlsbad dentistry has been amazing at making sure i am safe and comfortable. considering all my airborn allergies and allergy to lidocaine, it is amazing that they make it such a safe place to be. i wish all dentists were this in tune with patient needs and making sure it doesn’t hurt. and have never been able to have a deep cleaning without numbing before but no numbing and yet less pain than previous dentists!

Negative experience: Please be aware Dr. Dudzik is not an accredited cosmetic dentist and you should not go here for veneers. Dr. Dudzik talked me into 14 veneers to fix some crowding in my bottom teeth. He put the top 10 on incorrectly and I was in tremendous pain for 6 months until I finally took out a loan to have them taken off and replaced. He was never able to cement the bottom veneers because while prepping my bottom teeth he damaged my gums and I had to have a gum graft where skin was taken out of the roof of my month to repair the tissue he tore off. I’m sure Dr. Dudzik would disagree with all of this but thankfully I have it all in writing. I do not want this to happen to anyone else! Please reach out if you are considering going here for veneers.

The dentist is very thorough in his examination and makes you feel comfortable. No need to be afraid of any dentist.

Fantastic experience: I am new to this dentist, and it's really unlike anything I expected from a dentist's office. Everyone is kind, and seem genuinely happy to be there. They are incredibly professional and knowledgeable, ready and willing to answer any questions you may have in detail. The technology they use is far beyond anything I've experienced at other dentists. Everything is super clean. The place looks like they just moved in. Everything seems well taken care of, almost like a model home equivalent of a dentist's office. They are very high energy, and seem perfectly coordinated. They don't seem to give you any more time in that chair than is required. This place really is great.

Now I’ve got all the ingredients for a full blown panic attack. I very nervously walked into Carlsbad Village Dentistry this morning expecting a stressful experience. I could not have been more wrong. The facility was incredibly clean and felt quite safe. The staff was kind, professional, and made me feel as though they truly had my best interest at heart.
