From Nancy on reception always in contact about appointments and insurance, to the fabulous assistants in Effie, Wendy and Cindy, making you feel comfortable while supporting the Dentist, to Dr Herman, a tooth wizard with an abundance of patience, acute attention to detail, and a great sense of humour that puts you at ease. I love this practice and highly recommend the team.

They work with the patients insurance to make sure their services are affordable. Can’t say enough great things about them.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Herman is a wonderful dentist. He is knowledgeable and has excellent technical expertise. He solved my chronic pain by grinding down an uneven, too high crown (done by another dentist) - he could easily have told me I needed a new crown. His dental hygienists and office staff are always competent and kind. He is honest. He will not recommend procedures that are not needed. I actually look forward to going to his clean, comfortable office and knowing my dental health is in good hands.

Positive experience: Part 2 I’m so disappointed and shocked with this office. Been going over 30 years. Lost wallet that had all my credit/debit cards. Therefore I had to get “permission “ to pay once I received my new card. Not 24 hours later I received a call from the receptionist asking if I could pay now. I never owed them a thing and always paid after the service. I was absolutely shocked! So I did pay with another card that I had in my desk. I will say I was extremely upset, but certainly acted like most others. The next day I received a copy of my X-ray. No note, nothing . Then I get a very emotional letter from Cindy telling me I need to go elsewhere. So, there you have it. Stolen wallet, I paid within 24 hours. A true definition of money hungry. Dr. Herman, obviously couldn’t care less of losing a patient after 30 years. They are a dime a dozen but wanted to share this

Fantastic experience: Dr. Herman caught something on my X-Rays that escaped two other dentists entirely, and that impressed me. So far, the work he has performed on my mouth has been relatively painless and he and his staff seemed genuinely concerned about my comfort. I also like how he describes what he's doing while he's doing it , keeping me an informed patient. This is my second testimonial. Dr. Herman on two occasions has taken time away from his family on his day off to help me when I had emergencies. I appreciated it so much because I had meetings to go to where I'd have to smile and couldn't do so without his help. He's an excellent dentist and I'm very hard to please! This is my third testimonial and it’s about Dr Herman’s dental hygienist, Ivana. She does great work and always gives me positive feedback when I deserve it. My at-home hygiene is a source of great pride for me, so when she gives me an A+, it makes me happy, This is my fourth testimonial and it's ditto about Ivana, Dr. Herman's dental hygienist. She's great and makes me feel that all my hard work flossing, rubber tipping, wster pikking, is all worth the good results I'm getting.

Fantastic experience: I had a old crown drilled off & temporary crown put on. It was the BEST experience to date. I have genetically bad teeth & have crowns on every tooth but one. Multiple root canals and one implant. I can tell you he is the most caring & gentle Dentist by far in my life. I could barely feel the numbing shot and no pain at all while he was working. He explained everything as he progressed and was phenomenal! I highly recommend Dr Herman. I only wish i would have gone to him sooner!

They never try to ''over sell'' you on dental work and when or IF you do need work done, they explain all the pros and cons and YOU make your decision. Fantastic experience: I love Dr. Herman‘s office and the people there. My Dental hygienist is wonderful. The only downside was that they are so busy, they had no availability for my next six month appointment. I know they are trying to add dental hygienists.

Fantastic experience: After moving to Carlsbad from NorCal, I was having a tough time finding a dentist. I went to 5 before I was referred to Dr Herman. I am so glad I had the conversation with Laura so that I would be led to this office. Everyone made me feel at ease instantly. Dr Herman put my concerns into perspective and we were able to make a plan that suited my needs. I am usually very anxious at the dental office but my anxiety was gone as I sat in the chair and listened to what the doctor told me. He answered my questions honestly without making me fearful. Wendy has been cleaning my wife’s teeth since she was a kid. The entire staff is excellent. I don’t mind paying the dentist a visit anymore, I know I’ll be taken care of.

Fantastic experience: As someone who has had horrible experiences at the dentist for as long as I can remember, because it is hard for me to get numb. Dr. Herman and his team are a godsend. He understood my anxiety and was attentive to my needs. He performed 2 deep fillings and prepped a crown in one appointment. I experienced no pain whatsoever. If you are someone who has had traumatic dental experiences in the past, because of the inability to become numb, I highly recommend Dr. Herman and his team.

Dr. Herman was able to rebuild the area around the tooth and provide me with a perfectly fitting replacement. Having had many fillings and crowns over the years, it was very apparent to me that Dr. Herman is very skilled, highly capable dentist. The many 5 star reviews are well deserved.
