Fantastic experience: Jerry the lady that cleaned my daughter’s teeth was awesome, professional and willing to give knowledge of dental cleanings freely. Front desk check in needs a little more help with professionalism and side conversations that don’t pertain to work while checking in. The dentist is awesome, bubbly and friendly!!

Fantastic experience: My son is 2 1/2 and had his very first dentist appointment this morning. He was not a happy camper about it and he did scream and cry but that was because he was scared. The staff was so amazing and supportive about it. They are truly amazing at what they do and they made the experience so much better. I'm so glad we found an amazing dentist that can handle difficult kids. They have a cute play area for the kids as well. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Fantastic experience: I can’t stress enough how much of a great Dentist office This is. how caring all of them were to my son.I almost cried for the care and concern they had for him. I appreciate the whole staff so much. Great expressions is horrible. They knew my son was in pain and was giving him apt 2 to three weeks out But then when we go, it’ll be the wrong consultation to they just kept getting pushed back. This doctors office took my son in the same week. They even watched my 3 year old so he won’t see the pain His brother was going through while Getting his teeth pulled so I can be right there by his side. awesome Dentist office.

Fantastic experience: A wonderful doctor. Great staff. My child doesn't mind going here. He's a special needs child. They treat him well and make sure he knows what's going on. It's a 45 minute drive for us one way but, we'll worth it

Fantastic experience: My daughter had her first visit at Southfield Dentistry, and it was a great experience from start to finish. The staff was attentive, professional, and communicated her treatment plan clearly, which I really appreciated. She completed her X-rays easily—no fuss at all—and the entire appointment was quick and efficient, about 30 minutes from start to finish. The team took a thoughtful, strategic approach to her diagnosis and next steps, which gave me a lot of confidence in her care. This was only her second dental visit ever, and compared to our first experience elsewhere, we felt truly seen and cared for here. That made a big difference. I’m very happy with the service we received and look forward to her next appointment.

Fantastic experience: Dr Jordan is amazing and explains the process to my son during the entire time he's seated in her chair making him super comfortable and calm! I am so glad we found her! She absolutely loves what she does and cares for her patients!

Negative experience: My son (11) left the office crying after a regular cleaning. He has never cried getting his teeth worked on and he’s had braces for 18 months. Clearly they aren’t the most gentle providers. Especially for children. I am not sure about returning to this office for his next cleaning.

Fantastic experience: Today was my daughter's first visit to Southfield Kids Dentist. Before, she went to a regular dentist. I figured she would do better at a kids' dentist, which she did. The lobby has toys to keep the kids entertained until called back, which isn't long as you are seen at your scheduled time. Everyone is super friendly. Happy to say I found my daughter's new Dentist Home.

They made my 3-year-old feel comfortable and at ease during her dental visit—making it feel just like home when we brush and floss her teeth. She’s been coming here since she was 1 , and I truly believe we’ve found our forever dental family.

These small details matter to a busy parent.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience at this office with both of my children. My daughter is low-functioning autistic and non-verbal, and although she had a very hard time during her cleaning and had to be safely stabilized, the staff never once made me or her feel like a burden. They were patient, calm, and understanding the entire time, which meant everything to me as a parent. What really stood out was how kind and attentive they were to my son as well. It was his first dental visit, and while we were with his sister, one of the staff members took him to play and even gave him a popsicle until it was his turn. That level of care and thoughtfulness is rare. From the front desk staff, to the hygienists, dental assistants, and doctors, everyone was professional, compassionate, and amazing with my kids. 10/10 experience. I am so grateful we found this office.

Also the nurses ans doctors were so patient and lovely .very clean and fast paced . He was offered bubbles and a little kaboodle to take home .His extractions were so fast . Fantastic experience: This office should get 10 stars. From the moment I called to make my kids an appointment to the moment I came in and left it was nothing but absolutely. Office smelled nice, it was clean and tidy. They have toys, coloring pages, cartoons on tv and they were playing kid friendly music. The front desk girls make sure to acknowledge you with all smiley face's the moment you walk in. The assistants in the back make sure to make you feel comfortable through out the process. The doctor (I think it was Dr.Jordan) is very throughly and sweet. Explained everything from the cleaning to the work that was needed. I would forsure make this my kids new dentist office. Loved every experience

Negative experience: Y’all don’t even deserve my ONE star that I’m even giving you. The workers failed to do their jobs, didn’t read over the letter that was addressed to them, had me sitting for almost 30 minutes past my appointment, plus having me get there 15 minutes early so I could fill out paperwork that wasn’t even needed. After about 30 minutes of waiting I finally got called back to the room, the Doctor I saw, Dr. Lauren hadn’t even read the referral from the other dentist. It was a complete waste of my time, I hope no one sends their kids here. This place is lucky for my ONE star.

Negative experience: Wasted time Wasted gas and pulled my daughter out of school for nothing. Referral sent over explaining work that my daughter needed done, appointment booked in advance, only to be told by the doctor that We don’t do that procedure. Horrible experience because staff failed to thoroughly review the referral that was sent over. Also told to arrive 15 minutes early for paperwork so I did, appointment was at 12:30 then didn’t get called to the back until 1 only to be told that they don’t do the procedure all because someone failed to properly do their job

Fantastic experience: the dentist and staff all had patience, big smiles and encouraging energy for my kiddos. They enjoyed the play area, Disney tunes, cartoon on the tv, and of course the treasure chest after a swift and attentive visit. Would def recommend!

Fantastic experience: The staff was very PROFESSIONAL and QUICK my 3 children were called back within 5 min in there own rooms. They made my children comfortable got into kid mode while doing there teeth my children felt safe weren't scared. My 3 toddlers were done in 30 min tops they loved the experience they definitely made them want to come bk to the dentist. They sang and played with them while doing there teeth, I highly recommend them and will be bringing my children bk. My family enjoyed our first experience with them!!

Fantastic experience: Looove this place!!! Had to bring my son here because he acted up with the regular dentist to get his tooth pulled. Came here and Awesome Dr. Merrill walked him through it with ease. Now he wants to come here for every visit. The reps are nice and pleasant all around ten stars we will definitely be coming here for now.

Fantastic experience: The entire staff was absolutely amazing!! Dr. Jordan is the Ms. Rachel of Pediatric dentistry! She even made my daughter and me feel at such ease. I would have given a million stars if possible!

Negative experience: They cancelled my children’s appointments twice in a row. The first time they cancelled with little notice due to the dentist being out of town. The second time they cancelled without any notice. I made the appointment and informed them that I would be paying out of pocket. I asked for an estimate of the price and was even placed on hold for the receptionist to get the quote. We literally had an entire conversation about me paying out of pocket; however, she did not notate in the account that I was paying out of pocket. I took off work to take both of my children to their appointments, only to learn when we arrived that they canceled the appointments. Instead of taking accountability for their error, they said someone tried to call me ONE time to get my insurance information, and they cancelled the appointments because I did not respond. I explained that I made it clear I was paying out of pocket and that I did not recall receiving a call asking for more information. Also, they admitted that no one attempted to notify me that the appointments were canceled. No phone call, no email, no text, nothing. My children have been serviced by this office before, so they are not new patients that the office has no record of. It is unprofessional and inconsiderate to waste people’s time making appointments and canceling. They offered to service my children the next day. However. I explained that I was not off work the next day. I took off work this day! Given the disorganization, lack consideration, incompetence, and overall unprofessionalism, I will find another pediatric dentist. If I can’t trust them to get something as basic as a schedule right, I definitely don’t trust anyone in that office to perform dental services and manage dental/medical file(s).

Fantastic experience: This was my first time bringing my two daughters, and I was more than happy with the customer service that I received, from the ladies at the front desk as well as the assistant and dental hygienist. They had very clear communication. They made the process as new patients very easy and I will continue to use them as well as suggest their services to other parents.

Positive experience: The woman dentist we had today was great, I think it was Dr Jordan. In the past Dr Ife has normally been the dentist my kids have seen and she has always been great. The dentist we had prior to today, earlier this year was not so great. He was not detailed, didn't explain things and didn't seem to be as thorough as the female dentist we had today, she was detailed and was able to talk and still focus on the cleaning. Great job!

Fantastic experience: My son has been going here for years we also moved over with them. But they have always done a really good job with him. They are also very clean and even play their phones for the kids to watch whatever they like while getting serviced. Today he saw Dr. Merrill/ Shawntell who did an amazing job with him on his cavity. The front desk staff Desirae and Donna were extremely helpful and sweet to my son and I. We also had a mix up on our appointment but they squeezed us in and stayed later just for us . Highly Recommend as always thank you Southfield Kids Dentist we truly appreciate you for always making his experience enjoyable he literally says he had fun at the dentist.
