Negative experience: I came in today due to pain in a specific tooth. I have nothing negative to say about Dr. Bidwell; he was professional during my visit. However, the short-haired blonde staff member who assisted him was unnecessarily condescending and made assumptions about my anxiety that she was not qualified to make. She made multiple comments stating that I was not a candidate for nitrous oxide or sedation due to being pregnant, something I did not ask about or request. I had already explained that I was prescribed medication by my OBGYN that I am cleared to take for said anxiety. While I did mention that I have dental anxiety, I was not displaying signs of anxiety during the appointment. In fact, the doctor himself commented that I did not seem like someone with high dental anxiety. From the waiting room onward, her commentary felt rude and presumptuous, even though it was framed as “just being honest.” Because of this experience and the fact that my issue could not be addressed beyond a brief five-minute consultation, I contacted my previous dentist. They were able to see me the same day and schedule the tooth extraction I was told could not be done at this office. As someone who also works in the medical field, I strongly believe patients deserve to feel heard and respected, especially when they are already in pain. I hope this feedback is received constructively and used to improve patient experience moving forward
Fantastic experience: Ashley is the best!! She is gentle, fast, thorough, kind, accommodating, I can’t say enough about her professionalism as well as her efficiency and skills! And no, we don’t know each other outside of the dentist chair! When you have had enough bad experiences you know a gem when you find one. Keep Ashley forever please! Negative experience: Do not go here. They have bad reviews for a reason. Do your research go on facebook and look up what people are saying. The staff was friendly, but you are going to leave with more problems than you came in with. ☆update after their reply. I did call the office and the lady was rude and combative.

Negative experience: I would give 0 stars if I could! If you were looking for a sign about taking your child to Snodgrass, well here it is…GO ANYWHERE ELSE! I would like to start off saying I’ve been here as an adult and for an adult it’s fine.. pricey but fine. If you are taking a child they lack patience, communication, and compassion. My 3 year daughter had a cavity and was seen today 2/10/26. She went into the office excited you know I talked up the cleaning and the awesome toys. She sat wonderful for her cleaning and exam. It was all going well until the nurse shoved a metal toothpick into the hole of her cavity. This is where I should have known, but I was able to hug her and get her calmed down. We were given medicine and sat in the waiting room for an hour waiting for her to get sleepy. When the nurse came to get her I informed her she was not sleepy at all. She told me it was normal and they would take her back in a room to watch tv without commotion and that should help make her tired. I cannot verify if she ever went to watch tv, but she came out 20-30 mins later done with her dental work (So I’m assuming she never did). She was brought to me crying and upset, because she was awake and held down by the staff to the point which she peed her pants. At no point was I informed she was not asleep, or sleepy enough for treatment. Nor, was I asked if I wanted to proceed with treatment even though she would be upset. I did not consent to my three year old being held down with swollen lips and traumatized to the point where she peed herself. And to top of it off, I leave and go to the pharmacy hours later to pick up a prescription that was never sent over :) So once again if you’re looking for a place that won’t ruin your child for the dentist for life definitely don’t go here! I’m not unrealistic I know my child is going to be upset. I’m aware having a dentist do dental work on a 3 year old is probably going to involve tears, and if she’s asleep and trying to touch her mouth I would expect her arms to be held away. But never did I think my daughter would be able to walk and talk normal leaving the room. Obviously unfazed by the sedation medicine being able to tell me what had happened, saying she asked to use the bathroom they told her no, and held her down while she peed herself. So seriously go anywhere but here! Sincerely, a mom who’s 3 year old has cried all day about a dental office that is “mean and scared her.”
Fantastic experience: Love this place, been coming here for years. Dr. Bidwell is amazing and so are all the staff. LaDonna did my cleaning today and she was wonderful!!!
Fantastic experience: Fantastic—we love our dentists and staff at SK. My girls and I have been patients for several years. We have always felt cared for but this week exceptionally special. My oldest daughter took a good chunk out of her permanent front tooth over the weekend after a fall. I called the after hours line, spoke with someone right away and we were seen the very next Monday. We were in and out in one hour and the repair done on her tooth was beautiful. She will likely need more work done when she’s older but it was such a relief to have a plan immediately after it happened. They made her feel comfortable and took care of us quickly and with great expedience and quality. I have always been happy as a patient and mom of two young patients there. It’s a great place for a family to make a dental home.
Negative experience: We have gone here for years but have been so disappointed the past few visits. They seem to act like everything is a do or die situation when in reality, it isn't. Last month I needed to reschedule an appointment- called 2 weeks before the appointment. TWO weeks. The lady acted like rescheduling was a travesty and told me it would be until April before I could get back in and she was so rude about it. It was October. They had NO appointments from October to April, for a well-established patient? That's ridiculous. That was the final straw for me. They then called for the next 2 weeks. many times a day to rebook the appointments (how did they all of a sudden have openings???) I finally had to be rude to the lady and say "Like I said, we are going elsewhere." Geesh. The staff are not kind. They are a fake nice- they all look miserable. The suite they are in looks just as old and sad. Also- if you notice- anytime someone leaves a bad review they ask you to call them. I’ve left your practice- WHY on earth would I call you to discuss it further? Their lack of customer service is apparent in the reviews alone.
Fantastic experience: Great dentist and the staff are so professional and kind. Thank you for everything that you do for my two kids. Ms heather the hygienist was very kind with my 2yrs old. Dr king is the best And the front staff are very welcoming. I hope you get the kids area back
Negative experience: This review isn't about quality of dental care, but behavior from staff. Today when my dentist was exiting windows on his computer as my appointment wrapped up, I saw that the last few messages from an open chat were a complaint about a patient wanting to see their x-rays at their last appointment, with a response of an eye roll emoji. At my last appointment I had wanted to see more x-rays before committing to a very major recommended treatment that would be financially devastating and which I ultimately did decline at the time. As a public school worker my income and health insurance situation do not allow me to make financial decisions like that without having a lot of questions and needing to feel 200% confident that I am spending YEARS worth of savings for something truly real and necessary. Most people don't have the privilege of making casual decisions about thousands of dollars. I felt embarrassed, both for myself and for whatever adult is childish enough to act like that. That is not an acceptable culture to have toward people who may be making very difficult decisions between their health and their finances. Your patients are both physically and financially vulnerable in that chair, and it's a difficult position to trust from, have some compassion.
Negative experience: Don’t recommend. Be careful they will let you pay extra service that you don’t need. I have insurance 100% cover the routine check. But got the bill after 2 weeks for some itemized service.
Fantastic experience: Seamless and awesome experience! Every person I had contact with was super friendly, efficient and knowledgeable - hygienist, dentist and restoration tech. On time and excellent service!!
Fantastic experience: Everyone was friendly except the little pregnant one, she was rude, short, a snob in my opinion, maybe she was just having a bad day, other than that everyone was friendly and helpful.
Negative experience: It was horrible they made my gums bleed I was in pain they ripped out 2 teeth’s that where not supposed to come out it was horrible do no come

Fantastic experience: My kids and I love this place. Dr. Bidwell is my dentist and when I came in last year, let's just say - my teeth weren't looking too good. It's always nerve wracking going into the dentist after a long time of not going. In the past, with other dental practices, the judgement I have felt has been enough to keep me from coming back in. But this place was different. I told them I knew there would be a lot that needs work, but I would need to go slowly, as I am self employed and self pay. Dr. Bidwell was perfectly accommodating. He wrote me up a plan of all that needed work and told me to come in when I could and we would hack away at it. My teeth have never felt better or looked better. He discounted a cosmetic procedure for me, and the confidence I feel with my smile is beyond what I've ever felt. I used to smile with my mouth closed because of stains and misshapen teeth. Now I smile loud and proud and get stopped all the time by people complimenting my teeth. Anyways, all that to say, I highly recommend them.

Positive experience: The pediatric side has always been so great to my child, no complaints there! I went to the adult side thinking I would have the same experience & because they accept Tenncare & it's hard to find genuine & experienced dentists who do. I will say everyone is nice, but it's not personal at all. very rushed- dentist going in between rooms during my filling appt, very little detail given about things, and a few of the fillings I did get give me more issues now than before when there was only a cavity there. My gut told me not to go back for the fillings for my right side & i'm happy with my decision. No hate towards them it was ok.. but not up to my bedside manner standards. Only leaving a review hoping my honestly will help someone else!
Fantastic experience: Overall experience was GREAT! The waiting area was clean and welcoming. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. The check in process was sufficient and quick. The assistant was kind and caring and really funny, and the dentist was AMAZING! Best dentist office in Murfreesboro and thank you for all the patience and my new smile
Negative experience: I was referred to Snodgrass -King for an emergency appointment for my granddaughter who fell and hit her front teeth this morning . I was able to make an appointment and confirmed that they took her insurance. I didn't have the insurance card, was told that was ok, and they were fine with my daughter calling them with the number as long as I had the card when we arrived for the appointment. When my daughter called, within the hour, she was told she didn't call quickly enough so they canceled the appointment and couldn't see my granddaughter until October. They never told me about some time limit and she called as soon as she was done with her own patient. She is a Vet Tech and was in with an animal at the time. This definitely leaves me with the thought that they put money ahead of a 5yo with an emergency. My granddaughter will be seen somewhere else this afternoon.
Negative experience: I had scheduled my daughter an appointment here as a new patient. During the call to get her set up the only available times were today or sometime into next yr unless I wanted to be put on a cancelation list. I opted to go with today because she really needed to get seen sooner rather than later. I go to get my child out of school early and go. I had just set an appointment with a new PCP for my daughter as well and when walked into the building seen her dr office name I thought I went to the wrong place. We go back to our car and i put the address in from google this time instead of clicking on the directions link that was sent to me after doing her paperwork online prior to visit and it said we were 2 min away. Her app was at 11 by time got to the truck and new address put in it was 11:04 I call the number back which I called earlier to set her appointment. I was on hold with no answer for 3 minutes and just hung so could park just to realize GPS took me to the other side of the building I had just been in! We get on the elevator and get to the office it is now 11:13. I get told sorry we only have a 10 minute grace period. We are a new patient fist how are we supposed to know and this building has 2 different addresses. How confusing is that! I asked if she could at least see if we could stil be seen its only 3 minutes after wasnt like we were an insane amount past the 10 minute mark and had someone picked the phone up while I tried calling I could have known about the 10 minutes or let someone know we would be just couple minutes behind. They refused to see her. Over 3 minutes. I will not be going back here at all. I dont see how they have the reviews they do because the lady who worked the front desk seemed to be so snarky as well.
Fantastic experience: My family and I have gone to Snodgrass King for years. We've always had a good experience BUT today was top tier for me! In all the years of going to the dentist, I don't think I've ever experienced the level of detail and thoroughness as I did today. Alex was AMAZING!! She took the time to explain what she was doing, WHY she was doing it, and took her time to ensure I walked away feeling like I had a new set of teeth in my mouth! :-) As a provider, you know when people are gifted and knowledgeable in their craft and care about the care that's delivered to the patient/customer. I'm not one to leave reviews, but this one was much needed and much deserved. If you're going to the Murfreesboro location request for ALEX! Thank me later!
Fantastic experience: This was by far the best place I’ve ever been to. They accommodate your every need. They’re such an understanding environment and they work with you like your family. I had to get a full mouth extraction. I was extremely scared to go in, but it was well worth it in the end, especially working with them. They made my experience enjoyable by the funny conversations and the awesome environment. I would definitely recommend I’ll also be bringing my littles here as well thank you so much you gave me my beautiful smile back I couldn’t thank you enough!!
Negative experience: 4 year old appointment # Don’t let them do too much at one time # Don’t go somewhere where you can’t go back with them # He was crying/screaming for me for a period of time and they didn’t once let me know what was happening or bring me back to him! We choose them because of the quick availability. The previous dentist was going to take 4 months to get him in for his first appointment and going to do 2 appointments for what he needed. I got in here in a month and when we went yesterday they scheduled for the next day treatment. They wanted to do it all in one day. I thought it was a lot but I told the lady when giving him the drink that if they can’t get it all done today that’s fine. She told me that they won’t push him. Well when he came out today he was so red and had like red spots all above each eye and ears. From screaming so much. She said they already drilled everything when he got upset so they had to finish so he may have like what it looks to be little bruises from crying so much. She said he wanted me and he just wasn’t having it with all the water and stuff. He was crying and told me they put a “blanket”on him and he didn’t like that either. So I assume it was that device to hold him down like a straight jacket. I am just so upset because first they do not allow any parents back there. Also, if my child is screaming upset COME GET ME! That will never happen again! I will find a dentist that will allow me to be with him for comfort for now on! He also told me I never want to go back ever again! That’s not the first experience I was wanting him to have at the dentist getting something done. In my opinion they should of chose to do 2 appointments like the other office so they didn’t have to force him for so long! He was back there over an hour! Not including he had to wait an hour after the drink in the waiting room. So that’s a long period of time to be so groggy and then let them drill and stuff for an hour! So yeah, I feel like that just isn’t the right choice for us! I feel like they chose the $$ to get it all done over the comfort of my 4 year iAd. I also feel like that paper states the juice drink, laughing gas, & the straight jacket thing to make sure they are covered. Like it was there… not thinking they would forcefully put him in one screaming to do the work. Just not okay with me. Go somewhere where you can be with your child to comfort them! Don’t do like I did and agree to so much work done at one time either! He is only 4! He had several things done including crown and fillings! That’s was just too much for him to handle & they should have known that from experience! After reading the other review with the 15 year old… I am just not okay with that situation either! I’m not calling back there to get more information… it just won’t happen again
Negative experience: Horrible experience for my 15 year old granddaughter. The dentist knew she had been through a root canal earlier that day and as soon as her mom had to leave the room he turned into a monster to my granddaughter. She has a low tolerance for pain and of course was crying but instead of trying to soothe her he became angry and grabbed her by her jaws and told her he had four year old that acted better. This just intensified her anxiety and made her sob even more. When I quickly tag teamed my daughter to go be with my granddaughter, the dentist slammed the door to the room as I was escorted there by the receptionist. I just thought he was busy so I waited in the waiting room outside. Both girls that brought her out trying to shh... her from saying anything didn't have 100% luck. She said enough that I knew the dentist had done something to upset her greatly. In fact enough that I pointed to the pediatric sign right on the wall and said we'll find out what happened in the car but with that sign on the wall, that dentist better have handled things properly. I even added you cannot work in this field if you don't have patience and lots of it. There is so much more I want to say but I am concluding with the fact that noone I know will step foot in that office for any type of dental procedure, and from now on I will politely let myself in anywhere someone I care about is being treated.
Positive experience: The electronic check in was terrible, and the receptionist said I couldn’t have a paper copy. Thankfully, a lady in the back office helped me get a paper copy. The pediatric hygienists were not nice to my boys. Said their teeth were gross and looked like they haven’t brushed in days, yet no cavities. Was definitely not a good experience for the boys or me with the office kiosk.

Negative experience: Had a great experience with the overall treatment and was planning to be a long time patient until I received a bill a month after treatment saying I owe 1,000 dollars and then upon speaking to someone was informed that what I paid at time of treatment was just an estimate. Do yourself a favor and find a different office who has a billing team that knows what they’re doing because this one definitely doesn’t
Fantastic experience: The dental hygienist that took care of us was very kind and patient with me and my daughter (I don’t remember her name unfortunately) and April in insurance and finance was also great at explaining everything and helping keep my 3 year old entertained. We’ve had nothing but good experiences so far!

Fantastic experience: Let me start with the financial rep, she knows her stuff!!! She’s kind and friendly! My dental hygienist was quick with assisting the Dentist. My hygienist and Dentist were so kind, patient, and understanding my fear of having my teeth worked on. They made me feel comfortable during my nervousness. The Dentist was funny and I appreciated his humor. I highly recommend you! Thank you!!!
Fantastic experience: Everyone we have met in this establishment was extremely friendly & kind. They made us feel comfortable & at ease. Making appointments was easy & we received an appointment right away. They answered all of our questions & concerns. My twin boys love love this office, with all the fun things they have to offer in the waiting area.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love the staff at Snodgrass King Dental. They are all top notch. My kids and I all go there and have for years. They are so kind and gentle and love to make you laugh.
Negative experience: I accidentally went to the wrong building for my daughter’s appointment and called the front desk to let them know I’d be running late. It took a few attempts just to get through to someone. I ended up arriving 11 minutes late and was told there was a "10-minute grace period." But she would see if we could still be seen... She called me back up and proceeded to tell me they would get her back when they could. ..Despite this, my 5-year-old daughter and I were left sitting in the waiting room for nearly 45 minutes. Eventually, same girl from the front desk came over to say they were running behind and wouldn’t be able to see us. I explained that after waiting so long, I wasn’t going to leave without her being seen.They finally took my daughter back but told me to wait in lobby. (I should have said no) the first time we visited I went back with her and watched several other parents after go back with their kids. She was back there for maybe three minutes total — which is ironic, considering we were made to wait almost an hour because we were just one minute past their grace period. Which was a true mistake. Needless to say, we’ll be finding a new dental office moving forward.
Fantastic experience: They was very sweet to our daughter and got us in with in a day! The next day we was there to do work and they made her feel very comfortable. The staff informed mom and me and also explained the work they would be doing in a 4 year old way to understand. I’m very impressed with this dentist the inside is very spacious and has lots of stuff for the kiddos to do while you wait!
Fantastic experience: Going to Snodgrass and King is a much better experience than my former dentist. They are kind, prompt, relatively painless, and reasonably priced. So glad someone recommended them to us.
Fantastic experience: They did a really great job making sure myself and my kiddo were comfortable and had a good experience. My son has bad anxiety and also had to have some baby teeth pulled and they recommended making our first visit just a basic clean so he had a more positive experience, he was so distraught initially. This time when we went we knew what to expect and that helped a lot.

Fantastic experience: Dr Bidwell and Mrs April are phenomenal and truly an answer to my prayers. I was extremely skeptical about seeing a new dentist because my previous dentist didn’t provide the best care and has caused a lot of pain/issues. Dr Bidwell did an amazing job. They were kind, patient and listened to my concerns. I’m very well pleased with the services and atmosphere.
Fantastic experience: The entire staff is so welcoming and awesome. The dentist are very friendly and knowledgeable. It's always so clean throughout the entire office. They have a wonderful way of making children feel at ease. They want everyone there to have a good experience with the dentist. The only thing I really wish they would do is replace their game machines. All of the game machines are broke and have been for a very very very long time. There's not much to entertain the young children as they wait. Except for a TV and a big fish aquarium. They could truly use a play area for the younger children since they do have so many moving through their office.
Fantastic experience: The staff, nurses, and Dr. King himself are all very sweet and understanding! We love them so much. My son has the worst anxiety at doctor and dentist visits, they’re patient with him and they all do their jobs quickly!

Instead of making a person feel stupid for neglecting their teeth, Snodgrass-King makes you feel welcome. They are glad you are there. I can’t recommend them enough. Fantastic experience: I just wanted to say that this office, staff, and Dr. Bidwell was wonderful. As soon as I approached the exam room he was right there to thank me for coming. He was very hellerious, but professional. Both Dr Bidwell and his assistant did an excellent job 1st appointment, both got along great and very funny, which made the time go by very fast for me. Dr. Bidwell knowledge, and expertise of my tooth implant was very self reassuring. He explained everything that was going to take place during the procedure. I highly recommend him and the Murfreesboro office for taking good care of me from start to finish. Also, I don't want to forget the receptionist at the front desk for being so sweet and kind. I forgot her name, but she is a very important person of that practice. Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: Dr. King is truly a great peds dentist. My one-year-old needed the OR to treat his teeth infection. Dr. King met with me before the procedure and talked us down from top to bottom, reassured us that we will be kept up-to-date and answered all of our questions thoroughly. I didn’t feel rushed or this is just another job for him. He met with us again post op and went over all the post op things. I am so thankful to have went to Snodgrass-King for my little ones. The staff and billing dept kept me up to date and follows up. Thank you for everything you guys do and the amazing service and care we received.
Fantastic experience: Absolutely wonderful! My son was experiencing pain and our original dentist would not get him in their office in a timely manner. Snodgrass got my son in their office within a week of me calling and fixed all of his issues the same day! Their office is welcoming, with an arcade room, sitting area for the kids, and many other things to help the experience be that much better. I will never have my children at another dentist again !
Fantastic experience: I can't speak for the pediatric side of things, However, I have seen Dr Matthew Bidwell for adult dentistry here many, many times for some extensive root canals, crowns, and an extraction. I've also had a deep cleaning done at their Spring Hill office, and all I can say is everyone who works for Snodgrass King is fantastic. From the receptionists, to the hygienists, to the dentist, are all so compassionate, understanding, and so good at what they do! I actually don't mind coming here because I know I'm not going to be in pain when I leave! I highly recommend all of the professionals at Snodgrass King!
Fantastic experience: The dental assistant was very caring and sweet. She took the time to explain everything to my son and showed him how they work,cause he has a horrible fear of dentist. Wonderful place.
Negative experience: My teenage daughter was in for fillings today. She came home in tears because the dentist that did her procedure did not make sure she was numb. The process was painful, she cried throughout the appointment and the doc never stopped to check on her or adjust her anesthesia. With treatment like this, I'm unsure why I even paid for sedation at all. This dentist told my kid that she was working on only 4 hours of sleep, and clearly her exhaustion impacted her capacity to care about my child's comfort. Irresponsible and cruel treatment from a place that caters to children.
Positive experience: Staff have been great with my kids. There was a mix up in scheduling thou. I have 2 kids and all routine appointments are always made for same day/time. Showed up with both kids for their appointment (that was scheduled in office at the end the the last visit) but they only would see one and had to setup another date for the other. I drive 1hr each way to the office and had to take an extra day off work.
Fantastic experience: Amazing Doctor and Staff!! They took care of my Baby Girl. She was very nervous then she started playing and then after on way home she got a vanilla shake.
Fantastic experience: My son absolutely loves going to the dentist at Snodgrass. Everyone there is friendly and takes very good care of him. We started going later in life than we should have but they made him feel very comfortable and all the nerves he had coming in went away quickly with how kind and patient the staff was. I would highly recommend this pediatric dentist to anyone looking for a great place to take their kids. And a bonus they have a pretty cool area for kids to hang out while they wait.
Fantastic experience: If anyone is looking for a really good dental place to go to. I highly recommend this place. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. The people that work here are amazing. They work with kids and adults. I had a tooth pulled and didn't even feel it being pulled out. They saved my life. The tooth was really bad
Positive experience: I did a deep cleaning on the right side and when I got home and looked in the mirror I found that the black marks around the inside of the teeth were still there and the teeth did not look clean at all. I felt that I was doing a normal cleaning so why the need for 4 anesthesia injections!!!! Not satisfied with the result today

Fantastic experience: Today was my daughter’s first visit here, for a routine cleaning and we had a great experience. The staff was so friendly and patient! My 6 year old loved it and can’t wait to back for her next cleaning. I would highly recommend this practice for any dental needs!
Positive experience: Overall, the mount Juliet location is a great place to visit. ambient and nice. Today, we arrived at the Murfreesboro location for the first time. My child had had surgery and has a follow up visit there. Upon arrival, the ambient was nice and relaxing but due to my young son who has special needs, he let out a few loud sounds. Other parents were starring. After I signed the intake papers, the receptionist began pestering me about an outstanding surgical bill. She was not very friendly. In the midst of the confusion, I had to take a breather and sat down with my child who was eager to go play around. He loves his dental visits and never wants to leave. One of the attending hygienists, who was super nice, smiling, and helpful called us back quickly and the doctor checked on my son. The checkup was not long. In less than a minute he sends us off and said everything looks fine. Overall, today was a mix of emotions but a nice place to be. All my children are always happy to see their dentist and hygienists.
Fantastic experience: We loved this dentist! Extremely kid friendly! My 2.5 year old loved the waiting room and how nice Shannon the dental hygienist was! Dr. King was very nice and friendly! They also let us opt out of fluoride which I loved having the freedom to choose that! They accept TennCare insurance and the entire process was super easy!
Fantastic experience: My 8 yr old had a football accident and his front tooth broke right in half, although are scheduled for our new patient appointment in Jan. we had never been to the office for an actual patient intake. Our local office could not accommodate us in murfreesboro, they suggested we call the other offices. SpringHill was able to see us they had all of our information ready to go, all I had to do was check all was correct. No endless paperwork! They took care of my son's tooth and scheduled his follow up at our local office. They explained the process made sure he was comfortable and all was great and effortless! That was yesterday. Today my other son had his new patient visit. The technician took her time since he has braces and made sure he got a good cleaning. He was very happy as was I. The office was clean staff is pleasant and Dr King took the time to explain what he was doing and looking for. Over all we have had a great experience with Snodgrass-king dentistry. Thank you seeing my boy so quickly yesterday!!
Fantastic experience: The dentist was very professional and cordial, but the hygienist wasn’t friendly at all. I should have ask her, her name. She was rude, using commanding tone all the time she ask me to open my mouth. My mouth and tongue were all bruised up and bloody when the numbing wore out. I am definitely not happy with the treatment i received from the hygienist. The Dentist and the Hygienist were both very friendly, cordial and professional. I had my permanent crown this morning, though i didn’t like the feeling but they both make my experience very interesting. I appreciate their good work and show of empathy while doing their job.

Fantastic experience: They are kind, efficient, caring and super easy to work with! Shannon & Dr King have been seeing my special needs daughter for at least the last 5 years. All the staff “get” my daughter and my daughter though doesn’t really want to go to the dentist, is willing to climb up on the exam chair and have her teeth cleaned and examined. We drive from the Chattanooga area just to continue service with this practice!!
Fantastic experience: As always, my hygienist was professional as well as knowledgeable which made for a pleasant experience. Upon completion of my cleaning, I visited the orthodontist to have glue reapplied to my permanent retainer. That experience was also excellent and everyone I came in contact with was pleasant and knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: We had our very first visit and we absolutely loved our experience! Very nice,clean,and kid friendly environment. We had to get an extraction and crowns! She went to sleep they came out got her in a wagon took her back and she was done in minutes. Then she was up and smiling eating ice cream

Fantastic experience: Ashley was my hygienist, and I’m thrilled she has joined the team. I can honestly say she was the most efficient and effective hygienist I have had in a very long time. And I have had many excellent previous cleanings. But today, I was actually thrilled to have my teeth cleaned. I could tell she wasn’t scared to do what needed to be done. She’s an expert for sure! Fantastic experience: My little one is autistic nonverbal, he hated the dentist before switching to Snodgrass and King. Now don't get me wrong, he is still iffy about the dentist but even when he fights and yells I have never once been made to feel like I should just grab him and leave. The staff goes above and beyond to accommodate him and shows so much patience it just makes the once dreaded appointments no longer dreaded. Dr. King is very patient with my son and does a good job comforting him during his checkups- which I greatly appreciate! Brandy is wonderful! I highly recommend this dentist to all parents, especially those of us with special needs children!
Positive experience: The dentists and hygienists are professional, but so overbooked and hurried that you feel like you're on a conveyor belt with a rush to get in and out. My son and I came in at 820 for an 830 appointment. They called us back at 915 and gave him medicine that they said would kick in, in 45 minutes but then he had to wait for another hour after that to go back, due to how busy they were. We didn't finish until 1130 when all was said and done. In the past we have gotten there within the 15 minutes late winow and told we can't be seen bc The front desk is friendly and much better than in the past. Often I've walked in and no one smiled or acknowledged me until I said hello. The office itself is very old and worn down. Unwashed stuffed animals are on the floor for kids to lay on while they wait for surgery, but are so stained and matted they look like lice traps. The carpet has dark grease staines throughout and looks to have never been cleaned. The riding toys are always broken with signs saying they'll be fixed, but never are, and the "fun" things in the waiting room are often missing pieces or out of order. The poor fish in the fish tank are dying and the tank itself is dark and algae filled. This may have been a really great place when it opened years ago, but no effort has been made to use their money to keep it looking nice. I saw the reviews and ads everywhere, gushing about how wonderful a pediatric dental practice it is but, there are much nicer and more professional places to spend your money.
Fantastic experience: My son’s normal dentist office could not get him until February! They got him in same day for complaint of molar pain! The staff was so lovely and nice! We waited maybe 7 minutes total and the exam was quick! Even the visit from the dentist was prompt and quick! I will be switching all of my kiddos to this dentist come January if possible!
Fantastic experience: Switched to Snodgrass after having a lackluster experience at our last pediatric dentist. So far, so good. Customer service seems nice, the hygienist was very friendly, and facilities are clean.

Fantastic experience: The staff is extremely friendly and pleasant, although I do wish they would explain dental procedures slower and more in depth. The office and waiting room are very clean. My son and I absolutely love the fish tank and activities for children to do while waiting, which is always no more than 5 minutes! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I have taken both of my kids to Snodgrass for over 5 years. They are professional, very timely with when appointments start and efficient. My son was very nervous about getting braces years ago and they made it a very easy process for all of us, even down to figuring out payment for them. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Staff and Dr are great. Just the office needs some work and to increase safety. The kids area is on the side/end of the front desk with columns blocking the view, employees can't see or monitor the children in the play areas. While we were there there was an adult sitting by himself, behind a machine and not visible, in the totally dark video game room. Staff had no idea and no way to see or monitor from behind their desk. And had no idea who he was or why there. Turns out he was waiting for a patient but still was weird and felt unsafe. Also the door to the office suite is always open, and steps away from the elevator and in full view of the children's play areas. I'd much rather the door be closed and legit patients buzzed in and out or something. Bracelets, lanyards, stickers identifying parent/guardian/chaperone to a patient, so many ways that security could be increased. Also, everything seemed broken in the waiting area. All but 1 video game out of order. Most of TV's not working. Aquarium greenish water. Seating all around old and shabby and uncomfortable. Never saw anyone cleaning the toys, kids seats, etc.... Just all feels weird and unsafe personally and that's on top of not letting parents back for procedures such as extractions with sedation. Yes, there is an open area for some things where parents can sit and see their child but for some things parents are not allowed to stay with their child. That's weird to me, like why would you need to take my kid to a room with a closed door that I'm not allowed to be anywhere near or even know exactly where your taking my child. If we could waited the 3- 6 months other pediatric dentist have, that allow parents to stay with their child, we would have waited and gone to another Dr who's office is much safer feeling, & cleaner and not broken down. We toured many others that have much better monitoring of the waiting area, visible routine regular cleaning, and layers of security to access the office, etc. Great staff and Dr. But the whole place feels so unsafe on so many levels esp this being 2024 and the way things are now days.
Positive experience: The entire staff is actually very friendly and helpful. The hygienists in particular are caring and worth going back. The dentist, though friendly enough and knowledgeable, reminded me twice that he was respecting my time all the while rushing through my procedure. To the point where I felt like a nuisance just being there. As the patient who chooses to give my business/money to this practice, the rushing was not appreciated and left me feeling like this may not be the forever office for my family.
Fantastic experience: My children have been seeing Dr King and his staff at Snodgrass-King Dentistry since they had their first two teeth. All 3 of my kids love going and are never scared to go. They always feel welcome and we are always in and out super fast, which with 3 kids is no small undertaking. All my of concerns are answered and heard and taken care of very timely.

Fantastic experience: We were loyal patients of Cumberland pediatric dentistry when we first moved to the area. But after Dr. Kyle left the practice fell off and we have been annoyed at the lack of respect for their patients time. You are never seen anywhere near your appointment time and have to wait a minimum of 45 minutes to an hour and a half to be seen. They are booked out months in advance for what should be considered urgent dental work. We finally said goodbye and have never been happier at the change. Snodgrass has been amazing at every visit. We’ve never waited more than 5 minutes to be seen. They have same day/week appointments for urgent care. The staff is incredibly friendly and always smiling which makes my autistic kiddo feel more at ease. For the same dental work the price was cheaper than Cumberland as well which was a happy bonus. We never felt judged by the bad dental health my autistic daughter has from having sensory issues with brushing teeth. The waiting area is never overcrowded and always clean with fun things for the kids to enjoy. And if you are extra lucky that day, your kiddo will get to snuggle the sweet dog that comes in some days. I can’t recommend this place enough especially for special needs kiddos. We will continue to give them our business as long as we are in the area. They also accept Tricare which is hard to find in this area. As a military family, our options were limited and we were so happy to learn about this place accepting our insurance.
Fantastic experience: THEY ARE ALL WONDERFUL!!!!!!! I was extremely nervous to go. I have TennCare insurance and was thinking because of this and their office being one of the few places that takes the adult insurance I would not have the best of experience. I was wrong they have gone over the moon to take care of me and be the sweetest, professional dental team by far. I would highly recommend them. Also I would like to say Thank you to the the dentist and his assistant that work on me you have made each experience so incredible. I have had teeth extracted and surgically extracted, root canals, fillings and tons of exrays. I still have to return to finish some crowns and partials . And to be honest I’m more excited to go than scared because I know They will take care of me and mouth will fill and look amazing! Thank you

Positive experience: So my boy knocked his two front teeth loose while riding at the skatepark, and we needed a dentist that could see him quickly, and would accept our insurance. Snodgrass-King got him in, first thing the following morning. In the meantime, the reception lady we talked too checked in on him via phone a few times, requested photos, and for the insurance part all ironed out. It was really great service! So much so, that all three of my kids will be going to Snodgrass-King going forward. (My little boy really liked that the dentist chairs all had their own TV with cartoons playing) Only one little complaint, and that was that A LOT of the kids toys in the lobby were not functioning.
Fantastic experience: I thought they were all very nice and professional here. They treated my son accordingly to his age and seemed to do so with kids of other ages. Very nice to see a practice that can deal with kids of all ages! And even though my kids are new to their practice they seem to me to be very knowledgeable here.
Fantastic experience: They are so good with my 6 year old and make her feel so safe! In less than a year going there my daughter (that used to cry and scream at every other dentist) sits still and isn't scared at all. My insurance isn't the best either but their prices are very affordable even with bad insurance like mine lol

Fantastic experience: This place is awesome. You don't have to wait months to get an appointment. My dentist is so outstanding. He is making sure my teeth are coming out perfectly. He even sent something back and had it redone. I wouldn't want any other dentist working in me . It's for kids and adults. He 5 stars. I will post some when they are ready

Fantastic experience: The dental hygienist was professional and fun. She gave my son pointers on how to maintain cleanliness of his teeth with braces which can be challenging for a 14 year old young man. Also the wait wasn't long at all, they cleaned my son's teeth in a timely manner. We left within the hour after arrival. Looking forward to his next visit.
Fantastic experience: The pediatric visit was so great the technician/hygienist explained everything made sure I had no questions and ensured my son was as comfortable as he could be for his cleaning. Dr. King was also super sweet and ensured I understood all of what to expect and make sure I was informed for dental care of a toddler.

Fantastic experience: My family loves Snodgrass-King. The staff is very friendly, service is quick, and they are very efficient. At one of my dental cleanings, they noticed I needed some additional work on a tooth. They were able to work me in so that I didn't have to make an additional trip to the office. They are personable and my kids enjoy going to get their teeth clean. I truly recommend this place!
Fantastic experience: We definitely recommend! It was easy making my daughter’s first appointment, receptionist was polite, the environment was great! The kids have toys to play with while waiting. Dr. King And hygienist was Great! Answered all questions and was patient with my 2 year old daughter. Made her comfortable!
Positive experience: We enjoy taking our kids and even ourselves for visits but today they wanted us to pay ahead of time what the ins may charge. For us one child is special needs and we have a lot of moving parts when it comes to ins and deductibles. We need any doc office to bill ins first then send the bill to us. This ensures a better chance of it being accurate. I understand the policy but we have different situation than some. We are still dealing with a place which we over paid a few years ago same situation.

Fantastic experience: Snodgrass King has been taking care of my eldest (who is on the spectrum and fears the dentist due to sensory needs) since he was around 4. He had his last two baby teeth helped out/pulled yesterday with Dr. King and while they obviously used sedation and nitrous, he loves the vast majority of the staff, as do I. His brother, my two year old, goes there now too and they both not only love the kid friendly waiting room but the TVs and such in the actual exam rooms.
Fantastic experience: Brought my two year old here for her first dental check and we had a great experience! The waiting room was decked out with cool toys and activities for the kids, even a fish tank! Our hygienist and the dentist were both super kind and answered all my questions. The tv on the ceiling kept my girl occupied and the cleaning went great!

Fantastic experience: Probably one of the most kid friendly offices I have ever been to. They are always so sweet and kind, my kids love going. Even my little guy who was nervous, enjoyed it afterwards. And the billing lady was so joyful. The whole experience was great from beginning to the end.
