Fantastic experience: I have a long history of bad experiences with dentists. After moving I found Dr Lewis, and he has completely changed my perspective on the field. Many dentists I've interacted with put on a good act of caring for their patients, but sadly when it came down to it, did not give the attention needed. They often jumped to the easiest or most lucrative solution (for them) and in my opinion not what was best for the patient. And follow up was poor or non-existent. My experience with Dr Lewis is completely different. He genuinely wants what's best for his patients even if it's more costly to himself. I had some issues and he made time in his schedule on multiple occasions for me to come in (for free). Even long after a situation with an infection resolved, he asked me to come in just to check on it and be 100% sure. He talks transparently and in understandable terms. Always makes sure I am fully educated on what a procedure will mean for me now and into the future. Even though he is the expert, he does not belittle my concerns as others have in the past. He is very skilled and attentive when it comes to the actual work. All around fantastic dentist, and I can't think of one concern. Thankful to have found him.

Fantastic experience: Spent over 30 years in the United States Army so I’ve seen a lot of Dentists....that don't have much of a bed side manner. My wife discovered the Lewis group...and we have been using them for several years. They treat my whole family. Super people that obviously care about their patients. That is evident when everyone meets you with a smile and looks you in the eye when addressing you....by name. Savannah, my Dental Hygienist, eloquently explains every little thing that she is doing and is constantly aware of my comfort. Dr. Lewis is the most positive medical professional that I have ever dealt with.

Fantastic experience: I've been to the office twice now. Severe toothache is what prompted me. I Have some trauma that makes dental appointments really tough. I put off toothache as long as I could. Hands down, this is the best treatment I received from a Dentist and staff. I explained my fears to them and all were very understanding and accommodating. I also have a hearing deficit and staff was great about speaking clearly, and had no problem repeating if necessary (most people roll their eyes). Dr. Lewis and assistant, (I believe her name is Savanna) were so good at explaining everything. Dr. Lewis would constantly check with me during the procedures to make sure I was ok. Office staff is friendly and positive. Overall feeling was welcoming and just an incredible experience. Update: I've been coming here now since 2022. The staff and Dr. Lewis are amazing. I'm not just a patient, they remember me and inquire about my life. This is truly the best dental office I have ever been to. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Very nice dental office. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The dentist Dr. Lewis is a very nice man who listens to you and explains your dental plan. He does great work. I just had two crowns because of old metal fillings needing to be replaced. Plus he fixed a crown that came loose. He did a great job and was always making sure I was comfortable and asked several times if I needed to take a break. A follow up the crown Dr. Lewis fixed. It was giving me problems with discomfort biting hard things and cold sensativity. He explained it was too high and adjusted it and it fixedthe problem. He always takes time to explain why something is going on and the plan. Great Dentist!

Negative experience: Not a good visit. Overall procedure on a tooth will cost me more because it should hv been a crown vs filling. 2 procedures vs 1 but that's understandable if tooth was in worst shape. BUT they let me bite my tongue while checking my bite with my mouth numb. I had no control and no one addressed it or how to care for it! Professional care should have been better!

Fantastic experience: My hygienist Savannah was extremely professional, and went over everything that she was going to do prior to doing it. She tried to make an uncomfortable procedure as comfortable as possible. Dr. Lewis is extremely knowledgeable. Everyone was friendly. I live about an hour away and will drive to them to be my dentist, when I have several closer. They are now my chosen dentist office.

Negative experience: I’ve been coming here for years. I went earlier this year and was advised I needed two root canals. One of the teeth had had a filling done before, so I figured that it was reasonable that he said it now needed a root canal. He then said the other tooth needed one, too. I wouldn’t have doubted it, and I would’ve gotten it done immediately, but the hygienist said “oh, are you sure?” and she got a look on her face that put me off. Dr. Lewis then explained his reasoning after she said that. I know she’s a hygienist and that’s separate education, but I’d never had an issue with that tooth and so it was strange. I went to another dentist recently and I had told the hygienist there what Dr. Lewis had said, but I guess someone didn’t inform the doctor coming in about the root canal recommendation. So, when that doctor said “everything looks good you just need a filing on your tooth (for the one with the previous filling)” I was confused and asked him about if I needed a root canal. He was confused, too, and said “I only recommend that if the pulp is affected” and so I told him what Dr. Lewis had said. He then pulled up my teeth on the screen and said he see’s nothing that needs fixing aside from the filler and a cleaning. If it wasn’t because of the hygienist doing that, I would’ve gotten the root canals done. I’m only sad about the fact that my sister got one done last year after Dr. Lewis told her to get one. It didn’t make sense then either, but she got it done and it failed two months ago, so now she needs a dental implant. I’m not saying this is everybody’s experience or that this happened because of any specific reason or due to malice, but just be mindful.

Fantastic experience: I visited Dr Lewis today and had a great experience. The hygienist was very friendly and thorough and did a wonderful job cleaning my teeth. Everybody in the office was very friendly and welcomed me as a new patient. Dr Lewis visited with me and was very pleasant and so kind to me. I'm glad we chose to come to this dentist. I'll have no worries recommending him to my friends and family. Our previous dentist retired and I was worried to find a new dentist that would take his place. The hygienist spent an hour focused on me and cleaning my teeth. I could not believe how much time she spent carefully doing her job. Our previous dentist, while very good, did not spend this kind of time with me. I am extremely pleased with this office. Update 12/4/25 - Christy is my new hygienist. She is awesome. She has cared for me during my last 2 visits. Dr Lewis is great also. Dr Lewis, please give Christy a raise or bonus. She is so kind and nice. She is gentle on my teeth and makes me feel so at ease when I'm there. The previous hygienist was awesome as well. Thanks for hiring the best team!

Fantastic experience: I came in for a second opinion due to a horrible experience at a prior dentist. Dr. Lewis was extremely educational and knowledgeable, he gave me a lot of advice, and overall made me feel much better about an issue I was having a lot of anxiety over. Once everything gets squared away with the last dentist I will be returning so he can fix their mistakes. My impression is he is very ethical and knowledgeable and cares deeply about patient care and satisfaction over just their bottom line, which is a very different experience from my prior dentist. I am very glad I came to see him and found my new dentist.

Negative experience: I’ve been seeing Dr. Lewis for 3 years and After my last experience here I don’t think I would recommend this dentist to anyone. He has no compassion for patients and if you have any kind of dental anxiety I highly recommend you go elsewhere! I could feel immense pain during the numbing process to get a tooth extracted and he told me there’s no way I felt anything… and that I was “too anxious” Thankfully I was able to get into an emergency dentist and they took care of it dental anxiety and all.

Fantastic experience: I have only been here for one cleaning and getting all 4 wisdom teeth extracted and I have got to say I am thoroughly impressed and hope to come here for a very very long time. During my wisdom tooth extraction I was nervous because of not being put to sleep but Dr Lewis and his associate reassured me and always checked on me to make sure I was numb. They did great work and my recovery has been great and quick!

Fantastic experience: Quick, knowledgeable and helpful. More interested in helping than milking my insurance which was a relief after having endured Aspen Dental's predatory practices. Once I made the switch to Lewis Dental, my emergency situation was taken care of with minimal problems and it was clear the staff was actually interested in solving the problem immediately rather than giving me a run around and trying to pressure me into unnecessary procedures. Dr. Lewis and his staff bent over backwards to make my visit as comfortable as possible. I look forward to having my dental check-up and cleaning once my mouth heals up again.

Fantastic experience: I have had several dentists in the last 20 years. Dr. Lewis is the best your are going to find- very professional in his approach; and highly knowledgeable and skilful in dental care. He explains everything clearly and in simple terms. You can tell rightaway that he cares about his patients. He will occasionally stop by and say hello even when you are not scheduled to see him. Staff are very efficient and friendly. Negative experience: Very disappointed with Dr Lewis. He and his staff have always been excellent but I recently went in for an exam after a 4 year lapse- turns out I’m going to lose a tooth that had been without a crown since my last visit. Why? Because they lost the crown when I brought it in 4 years ago to be reattached- and was advised that “it would be ok.” I should have insisted on a new crown that day, but I didn’t. Now, fast forward 4 years, I’m losing the tooth and I’m being charged hundreds of dollars and “ won’t qualify for any sort of discount because of that” and they “don’t remember anything about the crown”- I’m assuming you’re literally not charting medical notes when you’re patients come in, which is a huge problem, or you are, but you’re too greedy to even acknowledge the issue and offer a “discount” to the ridiculously high cost. You just lost a long time patient. I have referred several friends to you over the years and now I regret it.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this practice. As someone who has some dental anxiety, I greatly appreciate how gentle and calming Dr. Peete and his staff is at each appointment. They ensure as much comfort as possible, offer suggestions, and I never worry that a small issue is being inflated for a bigger treatment. I initially went to them for a same-day crown, but I return for the wonderful care, staff, and treatment. Also, Laura, at the front desk, is helpful and wonderful.

Fantastic experience: I came in today with a bad toothache! Dr Lewis was very friendly very professional. Gave me good options of treatment once my tooth infection is cleared up. I plan on making him our family dentist. Also his staff was also extremely nice.

Any emergencies that I have had they were so quick to respond and get me in. I recommend the Lewis group every single time someone asked me!!

Positive experience: My wife and I both have gone to Dr Lewis for some time. Now to be fair, we both have issues with our teeth that Dr Lewis has done quite well in taking care of, as far as what one should expect at any dentist. My main concerns are Dr lewis's demeanor sometimes. It's not as though he is overtly rude but he can certainly fix a few things. Often when you are in pain he is pretty decent at trying to prevent the pain. However there has been a few times both my wife and myself have experienced where he seemed a bit short, annoyed and even dismissed our comments like they were silly. My last visit was today and I will be looking for a new dentist. I have extremely sensitive teeth, which isn't the fault of Dr Lewis. However when I explained my pain due to sensitivity, he wanted to double check. I asked him exactly how he was going to do this, "was he going to jab at my teeth" which was obviously me stating it felt as though someone was taking an ice pick to my nerve in specific teeth. He laughed and sort of made fun of the statement, which frustrated me as I was in a lot of pain and incredibly anxious in regards to how sensitive my teeth were. He laughed and said in a sort of dismissive way "No we aren't going to jab your teeth" as he put his gloves on. He knew what I was asking, obviously no one is jabbing teeth. It was clear I was in pain and didn't want to continue if the specific teeth I had issues with would be poked with the sharp scraper again. We finished my appointment and I sat in my car as I tried to overcome an anxiety attack (pre-existing condition that he is aware of). This is when I decided I had enough and we would find a new dentist. Most of the work he has done on my teeth, which has been quite a lot, has been decent. My issue is more along the side of bedside manner and understanding the mental state of your patient as most people have anxiety around dental work. My wife has told me the same thing along the lines of dismissive comments and sometimes coming off as rude. His staff for the most part is great and makes up for some of the short comings here. If you are looking for a dentist that will not mock something you say in regards to pain or anxiety then I would suggest looking somewhere else. He isn't the worst dentist by any means, but he could certainly work on his "vibe" towards his patients. As far as nuts and bolts work, he is just fine in regards to the quality of the job getting done.

Fantastic experience: Ive been to Dr. Lewis for 2 cleanings and a filling appointment. All I’ve got to say is that his staff is so welcoming and so is he! They make you feel comfortable and personalize their care to you! I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a dentist in the area!

Fantastic experience: On time, greeted well, treated like I was important and Ms. Savannah talked to me and explained what was going on and what to expect. My normal Tech is out and there wasn't any type of a drop-off from the top quality Treatment I'm accustom to receiving. I truly believe that the quality of service and the friendliness you receive from the time you walk in until the time you leave cannot be beat. Totally enjoyed the atmosphere there.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr Lewis since 2014. He and his team are extremely professional and so very friendly. They make sure I am aware of every step they take. Additionally, they give very encouraging feedback on how I am doing with my dental hygiene. They recommended a tooth paste to help me with sensitive teeth. Always punctual, office is clean and team is refreshingly attentive. THANK YOU CDr. Lewis. And the music is good too.

Negative experience: This was my worst appointment. Took me a long time to write this reveiw. My regular hygienist is great. She was out of the office on this day. I had another hygienist she was ok but she talked, kept you going. The lady that finished me up with polishing. Sucks! no people skills or polishing skills. Seem to not be in a bad mood. Water went all on my face, she didn't know how to operate the controls or the seat. She couldn't use the tool while polishing and all of the sudden I felt fingers my mouth. I was so close to telling her off and just letting me get out. Dr. Lewis himself seems to be rushing. I can feel the atmosphere. I know this day might have been rough for you guys. Seem to have been taken out on patients or maybe just me. Please review your cameras if you have them. The lady polishing need to be talked to if she want to keep a job dealing with people/patients. Will be looking elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: There are no words that aren't hyperbole to describe my experience! The staff is kind, caring and professional, and Dr Lewis made me comfortable and is obviously an exceptional dentist. I'm convinced I have found my new dental practice for life.

Negative experience: I have always been pleased with my visits to Dr. Lewis's office. The experience is all about the hygienist who you spend the majority of your visit with. I was very disappointed that without notifying me they changed who I was scheduled with. Although I don't have complaints about who did my treatment, I felt it wasn't right to make a change and not let me know.

Fantastic experience: The young lady who did my cleaning was very pleasant. She was very thoughtful and well spoken. She listened to my doubts or concerns and kindly educated and advised me. All in all a great experience was had yesterday.

Fantastic experience: The people are the ones who set this Professional Dental setting above and beyond the others. As I walked in the door, I was greeted with a smile and told: “good morning, I’ve got you checked in , Mr. Lucas.” I was carried back to my treatment area, very shortly after arrival, and treated like I was a long loss family member, returning home. The specialist and Dr. Pete were very personable and caring, as they carried out my procedure. I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I'm a long time patient of Dr. Peete Lewis - and I wouldn't have anyone else as a dentist. From difficult emergency extractions to crowns, Dr. Lewis performs most procedures in-house with the greatest care and consideration for his patients. His staff is wonderful and very helpful with insurance claims and appointments. A+ for Dr. Lewis and those who work with him!

Fantastic experience: After years of bad teeth and feeling hopeless I’ll ever have a pretty smile, I booked an appointment with Dr. Lewis. From the moment I walked in the door and was greeted by Laura behind the front desk and the warm welcome from all of Dr. Lewis’s staff I knew I had finally found an office who would help me attain my goals and make me comfortable the whole way. We made a game plan on day one with them and yesterday I finally walked out feeling confident for the first time in years. I cried seeing my new smile once I got home.
