Fantastic experience: After searching for a new dentist, after mine previous one was taken out of my network, I chose Starbody and was so happy I did! They were very professional but made you feel right at home. You just felt so comfortable and that is hard to do, especially the first time. The staff was so nice and they really made you feel like family. My hygentist was excellent in every way , explanatory in each percedue she performed . Dr Starbody was very attentive and caring. Over all a 10, if you are looking for a dental family to feel comfortable and to feel you matter , this is the one. Thank you Starbody Dental For A wonderful experience in choosing YOU !

Fantastic experience: After losing my crown today, I called this dentist thinking it was my dentist. I ended up realizing it wasn’t them, but they were still able to get me in ASAP. The receptionist was very understanding and got me in right away. They gave me the VIP treatment by walking me through everything. They also gave me an eye mask massager to help with the novocaine needle (x3) and headphones so I could listen to music. I can’t say enough good things about them as a first experience! Thank you all, I really appreciate it.

Fantastic experience: Update: The new management of Starbody Dental (previously Dr. Thompson's business) is still "all smiles" from my perspective. Past review: I wrote a review (in another forum) of Dr. Thompson a few years ago after returning to him after many years away. I encourage readers to browse through all the 5-star reviews on your time travel back through the posts in this forum. There is a very good reason for all the 5-star reviews you'll find—because they don't offer 10-star ratings through this forum.

Fantastic experience: They are the best! I do not like going to the dentist and put it off until I absolutely could not anymore. They were so kind and made sure I was comfortable. Repeatedly checked on me during the procedure to confirm I was ok. Both dentist and hygienist kept me updated on what stage we were in and how far we had left. They were both super soothing in the way they spoke to me.

Fantastic experience: Bev McGee Morton gives Dr.Kaitlyn Starbody 5 stars! Thanks to her and her husband, some leaking under two crowns that was causing decay was detected—— so, though I had to have crowns removed, decay cleaned out and new crowns made- it was as all done painlessly! Though there is a cost, it is much less than having to have root canals done under those two crowns! Dr. Thompson is the best! I have seen MANY dentists and have dreaded going to the dentist ....but Dr. Thompson has kept his promise to never let me feel pain...my recent crown & bridge construction was pain free and beautifully finished! He and his staff are extremely competent and caring. I highly recommend them. Thought I had posted above…AND, Yesterday, 7/6, i called because of extreme pain in my gum… though they were supposed to be closed Dr.Thompson & Kylie confirmed an abscesses tooth and Dr Thompson did a root canal on the spot! No more pain! Thanks Dr. Thompson !!!! Bad news! I had an abscessed tooth at my 6 month exam yesterday… Good news!! Dr. Michael Starbody pulled that tooth today , and he gets 5 stars! Like Dr. Thompson, he promised not to hurt me .., and it was painless!!! Thank you, Dr. Starbody!

Fantastic experience: Dr Starbody and his staff always do a great job and help me to feel comfortable 100% of the time. I’m a nervous client. I had bad experiences with dentistry as a child. I have biannual cleaning and recently, an extensive and complex bridge redesigned, and I’m pleased with all of it functionally and aesthetically. You can’t go wrong with this practice.

Fantastic experience: StarBody Dental is no ordinary dental office. My husband got a flipper there a while ago. This afternoon it broke out of the blue, and he was absolutely crushed - it being two days before Thanksgiving. I looked online and google basically said they usually can’t fix those, and probably wouldn't be under warranty any longer. Not only did he (Mr StarBody) fix it, but he didn’t charge us to do that and he adjusted it for him perfectly. It was such an huge relief for us both. You have no idea… And now they have a whole family of new clients/friends who will go nowhere else. Thank you so much! We couldn’t be more grateful! Fantastic experience: Ive rarely seen a dentist in my life time, and it has been 10 years since my last visit to one. I’m a very anxious person, autistic, and generally have a hard time experiencing new things. I’ve had tooth pain for the last several months, but I’ve been to afraid to get seen in fear of judgment, embarrassment, and other very general and common societal fears among “going to the dentist”. Finally reaching a point of pain I could not ignore I went in search of a dentist and found this place. I was very open about my fears, and dental history and they were nothing but wonderful. Mandy made me feel so comfortable, and created such a warm and welcoming environment. Dr Kaitlyn made it very adamant that she “wasn’t in the business of causing me pain” and made it known that my fears were valid, and taken accounted for. And the hygienists, Ja'Nequa, who took care of the bulk of the “scariest” parts of my visits made them anything but scary. She was very attentive, made sure I was happy and comfortable at all times, and took everyone of my concerns and requests 100% seriously. I am so thankful to have found such a wonderful team while I try to navigate my dental health.

Fantastic experience: I went in for a first time visit and was given Dr. Kaitlyn Starbody as my dentist. Her assistant took the x-rays and supplied them to her as they were taken. She then joined us both and thoroughly explained my situation and gave all possible options to go forward. Fantastic experience: Everyone here was exceedingly kind, informative, and patient. Every staff member that interacted with me was very sweet and empathetic. I was in a lot of pain when I came to them and I have very high anxiety around dental work and usually need sedation. The team walked me through every step of the way and left no questions unanswered. They were able to get me in for an oral sedation extraction and bone graft the very next morning, and Dr. Starbody called to check in on me the next day. I know I’m not the easiest patient to work on because of the anxiety but it was overall such a better experience than the previous sedation dentist I went to. I would recommend them to any of my friends and family, and I plan on returning for my future work.

Fantastic experience: Great service! Greeted with a smiling face at each visit at the front desk. Meanwhile, the hygienist talks you through each step throughout the entire appointment. Then, the dentist comes in to look over everything and address any concerns that arose during the appointment and makes sure that my teeth are on a healthy path of success. Finally, as I leave the office I am greeted with a smile. Leaving the office today with a goody bag, clean teeth, healthy teeth and a smile on my face!

Fantastic experience: Rarely if ever have I had an experience like the one at Dr Starbody Dental Office today. I called earlier in the week to see if it was possible to have a broken tooth taken care of. Rachel was knowledgeable and well informed and I was confident my call had been to the right Dental Office. I was seen first thing in the morning only two days later. The Doctor and staff are incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and the kindest people I have ever encountered. Approximately 2 hours later, I was feeling great! Tooth fixed.. I am new to the area and could not have expected a better outcome. I highly recommend a visit to this wonderful practice.

Dr Starbody and his team were very informative and made me feel right at home while I was there. I would recommend their office to anyone looking for a new dental office. Negative experience: long review hope you take time to read it all...can't say they are nice as everyone says.. called one time the person on the phone was in a hurry and rude.. i was asking about being put to sleep when having my teeth pulled and i seen the helper cut her eyes about something .. went for a denture liner same helper said in a smart tone that we told you they will rock around in your mouth .. well maybe they wont if the denture was made right to begin with and your mouth was casted after pulling your teeth instead of before .. expensive just to pull your teeth charged over 400 dollars to pull some of my teeth.. my lips and jaws are still numb cause something wasn't done right during extractions and it's 3 months since that's been done.. sutures left dimples all in my gums that are rough... there are barely no teeth on my dentures only maybe 1/8 of an inch can't eat with them they are dull..they won't commit to make a new set of dentures after me paying 20k up front and i decided i don't want to continue service..i was told they only used around 17k of the 20k i paid and wont refund any of the money that was not used which is about 3k they wont refund that i need to go to a different dentist to get dentures made .. make sure never pay up front at this place like i did ..going here was a really big mistake !!!

Fantastic experience: Sedation was used three times. Trust what the doctors say about these procedures. Nerve pain drives me crazy but the Starbody’s dentistry takes all of my fears away. Highly recommend!!!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely the most understanding and reasonable, and exploring all options for their patients, Starbody has won me over! I was in desperate need of a new dentist since mine recently retired. I learned more was involved today and I have never had such wonderful (bedside manner). Dental work can be so expensive but they worked with me all morning listening and running insurance and able to use my heath savings account to meet my needs. They spent over 2 hours explaining all the options and helping with an immediate reasonable treatment plan. The staff treated me like understanding friends without any pressure. I am forever grateful for finding them!

Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic experience today. It had been a few years since my last dental visit (I was seeing another dentist at that time). I was looking for a new dentist and I'm so glad I found Starbody Dental. I went in for a cleaning, x-ray, and a general checkup. I knew that I had an issue with an old filling that needed to be looked at. Dr. Kaitlyn confirmed that indeed the old filling needed to go. I also had a pretty good size cavity that was beneath the filling and it needed repair as well. I ended up needing a crown and Dr. Kaitlyn's work and disposition was the best I've ever experienced. At one point, I was so relaxed (no fear of unexpected pain and with my mouth wide open) I went to sleep. I actually nodded off. Who does that when a drill is running wide open inside their mouth. Absolutely no pain...no fear...and Dr. Kaitlyn provided the absolute best care possible. She's definitely my dentist for life. Check this place out. 100 out of 100.

Negative experience: Unfortunately, I need to amend my review a bit. On a visit several weeks ago, Dr. Starbody recommended an Invisalign treatment to straighten out some lower teeth. I had braces before and the teeth had "crept" back out of alignment, but everything had "settled down" and was causing me no problems. I didn't think it would be a major ordeal, so I decided on the treatment. What I didn't realize was there would be extensive grinding, between my teeth, that would be needed for the treatment - this was never mentioned prior to my treatment actually beginning. Also, there was no mention of a possible allergic reaction to the plastic in the Invisalign trays (which is rare - but does occur). If I had been informed about the grinding that would be done between my teeth... or the possibility of an allergic reaction... I would never have started the treatment. I wound up with an allergic reaction to the plastic trays which began causing nausea that was waking me up at night. Apparently, the plastic used in Invisalign trays can cause gum irritation as well. Eventually, I had to stop the Invisalign treatment altogether. To Dr. Starbody's credit... he did work with me to refund most of my initial expense. Unfortunately, I am now left with gaps between my teeth that were not there before... with the possibility that they will begin to shift without further orthodontic treatment (which will need to be done with traditional - more expensive - metal braces because I can't tolerate the plastic in Invisalign trays) Part of this is my fault for not researching Invisalign treatments more thoroughly. I would just advise anyone considering an Invisalign treatment to do your homework... so that you can understand, exactly, what to expect with the entire treatment process. I understand that it is relatively easy to test for possible allergic reactions before Invisalign treatment begins... by simply taping a piece of the plastic to your arm for a few days... to see if any irritation develops. I would, highly, recommend asking about this test before any treatment is considered.

Fantastic experience: The staff and Doctor were kind, patient, and thorough. I came in pain and left with no pain. The doctor found the problem and corrected it. The one thing that some businesses forget is to smile, they all smiled! My daughter recommended them and I felt heard after my first visit.

Positive experience: i was looking for a new regular dentist in the area and the staff was nice. i originally went in due to a loose crown which has prevented me from eating. they took imaging and said i would need an implant; or just an extraction and be missing a tooth. either way, nothing could be done without $2k up front and i was sent on my way with a fancy starbody coffee mug. i later (about a week) called back asking if there is any way to cement the tooth for now, while i come up with what i need for the extraction so i can eat regular food. the person on the phone said “oh, i thought she (the dentist) tugged on it and it was in there good”. this felt like an undermine to the inconvenience of my problem, like i don’t know a loose tooth when i have one. and something that would have been worth the offer when i was faced with such a large bill that i clearly couldn’t cover at the time, and i have great insurance. the tooth would have needed extracted whether it was temporarily re-cemented down or not. i live alone and work two jobs. i have since consulted with a different place which quoted me almost $1k less for all the same work… and will continue my search for a regular dentist.

Fantastic experience: I had a dental emergency last Monday. I had a recommendation to Dr Starbody. They worked me in on Tuesday and due to an upcoming international trip, worked me in again on weds. I cannot express how pleased I was with the whole experience. Like many, I have anxiety in the chair. It quickly went away by the kindness and professional treatment by everyone in the office. Especially Mandy who was so kind. Dr Starbody was genuinely caring and even called me the following morning to make sure I was alright. A 5 star experience for sure!
