Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff and Dr. Abby is the absolute best!!!

Fantastic experience: Everyone was sooo very nice, professional and knowledgeable. The office was clean as well. I would say the only thing and this is just for me, is that they are not open Fridays and that is more convenient for my schedule but that’s not a reason to give points off

Negative experience: I HATE leaving negative reviews but... Mis-diagnosis here that could have cost me thousands and I would have lost a molar . I was having pain in a tooth that would come and go (now hear me out) usually when I had added chai seeds to my smoothie. They are tiny at first but expand. I had a feeling there was a problem with my cap allowing them to get into a tiny crevice causing bad pain after they expanded. She ( Dr Slyman(?) clearly thought that was ridiculous and, instead of checking my cap fitting, I was referred to an endodontist who took a pricy xray, told me I needed 2 previous root canals re-done but she ( Dr. Storm at Park Dental) said just to have an oral surgeon pull one and she would re-do the other. That would have been thousands spent and I would have lost a molar. I went to my (awesome) dentist in MX who evaluated, said I didn't need either of those things done, just a new (properly fitting) crown. We did that. Not one bit of pain since that procedure 6 months ago. It really WAS the chai seeds getting into a space it shouldn't. LISTEN to your patients plz.. Amy Strength ( no longer Walker)

Negative experience: I went to this dentist because I had Broken a tooth I stated that I wanted to get an extraction When I went to this dentist, they saw me took an x-ray and then told me they didn’t do extractions Then referred me to an oral surgeon that can’t see me until the end of January This would’ve been good information to know before I went to my appointment

Fantastic experience: Moving to a different city and having to find new everything can be a daunting task. I loved my old dental office, dentist, and staff. They provided the absolute best care and now every dental office will have to meet their standards. After much research and reading many reviews I decided to try Stone River Dental; Dr. Boyter. I am home! He is excellent with an amazing staff. The attention, care and safety provided is outstanding. They truly are deserving of their 5 Star rating!

The staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful—truly going above and beyond. The office itself is clean, welcoming, and very comfortable, which made the visit even more pleasant. The staff was informative and took the time to explain everything clearly, which really put me at ease. I also had very little wait time, which I really appreciated. The staff is very friendly and helpful to answer all my questions about procedures, costs, etc. I wouldn’t think of going elsewhere!

Fantastic experience: They seem to really care here that patients are heard and comfortable. They took extremely comprehensive photos of my teeth that I've never had before. I had one of the most comfortable cleanings of my life and Dr.Abby is very easy to talk to.

Fantastic experience: My recent experience with Stones River Dental was awesome - if I could give more stars, I would! I broke a tooth over the weekend and Dr. Abby and her team worked me into their very busy schedule today (two days before Thanksgiving). Dr. Abby assessed my situation and then spent a couple of hours outfitting me with a temporary crown. Even though this was an unexpected outcome of my visit, everyone was extremely accommodating, professional, friendly and so helpful - and they worked well into their lunch hour to patch me up. These folks are great and I feel extremely fortunate to have them providing my dental care!

Fantastic experience: Although the dentist isn’t anyone’s favorite place to spend their afternoon, Stones River Dental made it a great experience, as always! The staff knows you by name, asks about your family by name and/or previous stories, and treats you like you’re the only patient they’ve had all day. They make it a point to get you in and out in a timely manner while keeping your dental health as the #1 priority. I personally drive over 1 hour each way because I cannot fathom going elsewhere!

Angel, one of the receptionist was awesome from the start and I have not learned all of the names but Mrs. Abby my dentists was truly knowledgeable and as professional as they come. There were others that assisted me as well and sorry I didn’t get to name them but the whole staff is A+ in my opinion. Negative experience: Not thrilled with the change in ownership. Had an appointment today and my dentist was not there because she had a separate appointment outside of the office. If I’m only coming twice a year, it would be helpful to actually see the dentist. Also, last appointment I didn’t want fluoride but that was apparently not communicated to the dentist so they put it on without me realizing. I was charged after the appointment. Then was waiting for my next appointment to discuss with them. Received a letter that I would be sent to collections if the $37 was not paid in 10 days, lol. Pretty disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I just switched to this office due to my former dentist moving out of network. I had a crown come off around 1pm and they were able to fit me in at 4pm and put the crown back on. The people at the office were all very friendly and I am happy I chose this office to move to.

Negative experience: I had an extremely disappointing experience her at Stones River Dental. During my visit, they used a half-working machine on my teeth without informing me beforehand. I was in intense pain, nearly in tears, only to be told after the procedure that the faulty machine was the reason for my discomfort. When I called to express my concerns, the response I received was dismissive—just an “oh ok, no worries” because I had called to cancel my next appointment. Now I have to go to a different office to check my teeth to make sure my teeth are not injured from this. This level of unprofessionalism and lack of patient care is unacceptable. I expected better communication, transparency, and compassion from a healthcare provider. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this office to anyone looking for quality dental care.

Fantastic experience: Stones River Dental is fantastic. Everyone is cheerful from the time you walk in to when you leave. They get you back to the dental chair quickly. The hygienist takes their time and does a proper cleaning. Dr. Slyman has provided multiple solutions for myself and my family to avoid aggressive and costly or unnecessary procedures and has taken the time to explain risks, benefits and alternatives.

But here, they are very attentive, very knowledgeable and most of all, very caring. All the staff was so welcoming, nice, engaging, informative, I could go on and on. I made this appointment because of a tooth pain. They got me scheduled quickly and devised a clear plan to fix the issues. When scheduling the follow up appointments they sat with me and explained clearly how much I would owe after insurance and my paying options that were available to me. I know I said it before but I have to say it again, I am Soooo grateful this will be my new dentist.

The receptionist gave me a friendly greeting and was helpful with checkin and checkout as well as walking through financial information. Fantastic experience: I am so scared of the dentist from past childhood experiences. Any excuse to not have to go to dentist. I wanted to cancel the appointment because an important meeting came up I had to attend. The staff worked with my schedule to make sure I got out on time to make the meeting. I don;t know if there was anything else that could be done to put me to ease but the staff did it. I was given a heating pad on my back to relax me. All through my procedure Dr. Boyter and the assistant kept reassuring me and checking to make sure I was not in pain. Even the novicain shot given for pain didn't hurt. Talk about people that care about you, I received a call that evening from the Dr. Boyter just following up to make sure I was ok. Thank you so much for the TLC.

Fantastic experience: It’s not advertised, but I do believe this is an all female office. It was one of the few non-franchised offices in the area. They will not try to talk you into work that you don’t need done. They take great care of their patients. I highly recommend them!

I get very anxious going to the dentist but my hygienist was so kind and gentle and let me wear the xray vest longer as a weighted blanket to help my anxiety! She went above and beyond to help! Fantastic experience: I've been a patient with Stones River Dental for over 20 years. I'm a skittish dental patient but I love this office. They listen to me and my concerns. They work with me on payments. The office is a calm environment. And most importantly, my mouth doesn't hurt for 3 days after a cleaning because they are gentle and careful with my cleanings.
