Negative experience: Wonderful establishment! Good communication and prompt! Facility took good care of my grandmother and provided exceptional care. Thank you guys! Keep up the good work. I had to change the review because my old 88 year old grandmother had to make several visits for a set of dentures. This place did a cleaning on my grandma’s teeth and tried to do extra work that’s not necessary! I paid over $250 for a cleaning that she didn’t need! I had to go elsewhere to get results! I was provided one quote and then another. I don’t recommend!

Dr. Hamilton, the dental hygienists, the dental assistant and the office managers do an exceptional job, hence the reason I’ve been going to them for forever. You can tell they all love their job and have your health and well being as their priority. Fantastic experience: Dr. Bruce is EXCEPTIONAL! My daughter is 23, although she is in an adult… my daughter is on the autism spectrum. She has a fear of doctors and dentists. She has high sensitivity and She does not like to be touched. Sadly, she has a whole lot of anxiety. Dr. Bruce and his team are truly amazing with her. They go at her pace…. And they always make sure to explain exactly what is happening next and how each instrument is used and what it will feel like. They continue to talk with her the entire time to ensure she is doing ok. Although she is an adult, They allow me to be close by to offer her a sense of security as it’s not always easy for her to verbalize how she’s feeling especially if she’s scared. Negative experience: The biller Sam checked me in was extremely rude. Before greeting me with good morning, the first words out of her mouth was will you pay your bill in full or 2 payments. This was the second bad experience with this staff the first experience she hung up on me because I was asking her to explain a previous bill. I have been with Dr Hamilton over 10 years he does amazing work but that biller Sam needs some etiquette and customer service training.

He remembers seemingly little things like I get claustrophobic when tilted too far back; not little to me though. All in his office are friendly and professional. Negative experience: My daughter is a new graduate student in Milwaukee and wanted to find a new dentist. We have United Health Care(UHC) insurance and she found Dr. Bruce Hamilton as he was In-Network and had good reviews. When she made the appointment, which was just for a standard cleaning, the office person confirmed again that they accepted UHC and were in-network. Even when she checked in and gave the office person our dental card she again confirmed in-network. A few weeks after the appointment we received a bill for $261(after the insurance company paid $101 for a total of $362) from Bruce Hamiltons office. My wife contacted the office because this should have been covered 100%. The office Manager, Sam said Dr. Bruce Hamilton IS In-Network but my daughter was seen by Dr. Cardenas who is not fully credentialed with UHC. My daughter made the appointment with Dr. Bruce Hamilton’s office with the expectation that she was being seen by Dr. Hamilton. The office personnel confirmed twice that UHC insurance was accepted. NOT ONCE DID THEY TELL HER THAT DR. CARDENAS WAS NOT IN NETWORK. To boot she never even got her teeth cleaned. This bill was just for the X-rays as a new patient. This is totally Unacceptable representation from this office. We have escalated to appeals with our Insurance Company. My daughter will Not be going back to this office based on the dishonesty we have experienced. I hope Dr. Bruce Hamilton is aware of this situation as it is his name on the door.

Fantastic experience: Not only is my dentist the best. His entire staff is awesome and hardworking. During my last vist Martha my dental hygienist explained to me how important it is to use a water pick in hard to floss areas. I actually gave water picks as gifts. I never considered a water pick for myself because my teeth are position close together and it is hard to floss between them. The water pick is a game changer.

Negative experience: My family and I were clients of this dental office for about 2 years. I liked it because it was clean and most of the staff had good customer service skills, they were friendly. However, after about a year I noticed a pattern that I found questionable. After every visit, they send you a questionnaire asking about the quality of service you received from them. Apparently, my honest answers made the dentist angry. So he tried to remove me as a client WITHOUT making it known that he was removing me as a client. The first incident was when the Dentist started scheduling extra “Office visits” for my children. I called to find out what the appointment was for because my daughter had already had a cleaning so why would she need to be seen again? The receptionist told me my 6-year-old told the dentist that she wanted braces, so he wanted to see her so he could make a referral to an orthodontist. Myhusband actually took my daughter to the appointment where the office visit was scheduled. I asked my husband what happened at the appointment and he said my 6 year old NEVER told the Dentist she wanted braces… Futhermore what dentist takes advice from a 6 year old? LASTLY no ortho on this planet will put braces on a 6 year old. So what is this appointment for?? I called twice and asked for the dentist to give me a call back to discuss the appointment. 2 months passed he never called back because he knew he was scheduling bogus appointments to make extra money from our insurance. Next I noticed, every January when our insurance renews, he finds all kinds of reasons to give us multiple fillings. Literally every beginning of the year! Then my other daughter who has never even had one cavity in her life. He tells me she needs oral surgery and he needs to give me a referral to an oral surgeon. The people he refers you to are people who he would get a stipend for sending you to. These people are 3 times HIGHER than normal. I don't trust him or them because they are money hungry. Then he always needs to refer you to someone else. This is the ONLY dental office where they are only qualified to clean teeth and do minor fillings. That should have been my first red flag. So when I mentioned these issues in response to the questionnaires they asked me to complete after our appointments they got mad. All of my appointments started to get cancelled. I got a text 2 weeks in advanced that my appointment was canceled because the Dentist was sick. Who knows they are going to be sick 2 weeks in advanced?? Then the text says someone from the office will call you to reschedule. A week later I get a text that says “This is the only message you will receive, call the office to reschedule your appointment... Like what??? The message initially said I would be called by someone from the office to get the visit rescheduled. So it's like tell me you don't want me as a client, Without saying you don't want me as a client lol. Only because I'm smart enough not to let him make extra BOGUS money off of me. I wasn't going back anyway because any “DENTIST” who's willing to put my daughter with PERFECT teeth through an “oral surgery” that's not needed just to make themselves extra money is a horrible person and doesn't care about their clients anyway. However I guess the fact that they only offer cleanings and fillings is why he's tryna make extra money elsewhere. Speaking of fillings he gave me a filling on a tooth that wasn't needed, he got too close to the nerve and I have been having pain in my tooth ever since. The tooth never caused pain before he did the BOGUS FILLING! Another thing when my daughter was 4 they tried to prevent me and my husband from being present in the room while they did her cleanings. Why do you want to service children without their parents present? what parent in their right mind would allow this to happen. I tried to support this black business but things just got too out of hand. If you want a botched filling, given BOGUS EXPENSIVE referrals for dental services, have a dentist that's doesn't care about children GO HERE!! Part 2 coming!
