Fantastic experience: I don’t think I’ve ever had nicer people taking care of me than at forward dental. Thoughtful, empathetic, caring kind and gentle!!!!

Fantastic experience: I was grateful that I was able to get in to see Dr. J at short notice for a tooth that did feel right. She cked it out and gave me good direction on what to do. - that was in June thought it was posted. Fast forward to Dec.- Dr.J just did a temp crown this week, will gwt permanent in couple weeks. I was dreading it as hate drilling, but was a good experience & have another one scheduled.

Positive experience: Great dentists! The dental assistant was really cool too. Both had good listening skills and ask good questions. Terrible desk manager. I decline the insurance, but it gets added to my credit card. Then she tries to make it sound like it was my fault. Next she says she's going to try and get it back but wouldn't commit to the refund. Didn't sound like she cared or was even going to make a decent effort. She said I was being rude but she hung up on me. I got the distinct impression that she wanted me to take the insurance regardless. Like it was going to be a big deal to not get it. Anyway, I'm going to get a refund, so I'm not sure why she had to make it such a pain. "yes sir, we'll get that refunded to you, and I'll get back to you with an update." That's all she needed to say and I would have been off the phone with her in a second. Didn't even have the humility to call me back. She had another person call me back - who turned out to be pretty cool. The guy who called me back said I'd get my refund in about a week, and admitted that it was their fault. That was impressive. What a shame though, the rest of the staff is really cool. I'd like to give you five stars but that front desk experience just won't let me.

Negative experience: They tell you things to make you feel comfortable they have you come in they don't check your insurance to see if it pays for it and then at the end when your insurance does pay for it then they come out with how much you owe them Do not pay them once they cash an insurance check they can ask not ask you for money and they do not know how to fit dentures maybe a couple but they won't fix them correctly Make sure you check your health insurance because they will mislead you and say they accept it they cannot send you a bill You do not have to pay it call the insurance the insurance will go after them there's many other dentist's office around them that do accept remember this office cashes checks and then charges people saying they owe more money

Negative experience: The brunette office girl was upset. She seemed to have problems with answering phones all by herself as people came in. I asked her if my insurance covered the procedures for today. She said she'd check. I asked her if she needed my insurance card. She snapped at me and told me, "You don't have to be rude!" I told her you may need the card to check. She seemed most upset about something. I called my insurance yesterday and their computers were down. IDK how you can verify what insurance covers if you do not have my insurance card. She just couldn't cope with this simple office task. She actually got out of her chair and came up to the desk and yelled at me. "You don't have to be rude more than once." She was rather loud in the office as another patient was here. An

Positive experience: The technician did a great job with the cleaning and the xrays. I am disappointed that the dentist was not available to do the checkup.

Fantastic experience: Had my semi-annual dental appointment for cleaning and check up this week.The receptionists at the Forward Dental practice on Forest Home Ave are superb. They are so welcoming and so helpful when setting up appointments. My hygienist Hannah is terrific. She is so thorough but gentle - makes the cleaning experience so easy and stress free. Dr Tim Tanty has been my dentist for many years and is excellent. He is so knowledgeable and patient care oriented. He makes you feel so comfortable and relaxed. I highly recommend this Forward Dental site - it will take any fear you have of going to the dentist away.

Positive experience: Experience is dependent on who is administering your care. Had a few visits to this place within the last 2 years. Sierra was always my hygienist and she does a wonderful job. Not sure the reason for the change but during my last visit I was assigned to Sandy. Sandy answered questions that I had and provided information about maintaining dental health, which was appreciated. Although I believe the cleaning could've gone better. Water was frequently dripping down my face. At one point the tool directly sprayed water onto my face. Not sure if it was deliberate or an honest mistake, but I took notice, as that never happened before in the cleanings I had with Sierra. The force that was used during the cleaning also seemed excessive. I had bleeding in my gums, along with bleeding in areas that weren't even worked on. There was bleeding on the underside of my tongue from vacuum tube being slid around my mouth and bleeding on my lips from being pinched between my teeth and the vacuum tube. When I got home and checked in a mirror, I noticed there was green polish paste that was left on my face. Seemed like the effort in providing quality care had faded as the appointment went on...

Fantastic experience: The hygienist I saw was very understanding and sympathetic to my health concerns that are affecting the care of my teeth and oral health. She was very knowledgeable about my condition and was able to provide some guidance and insight into improving my situation. I appreciated the time she took to write information down and showed me where to find the best source of information. I am glad to be scheduled to see her again in 4 months. I have confidence that she will continue to support and guide me in the future.

Fantastic experience: Everyone is always friendly. Dr Tanty answers questions without making you feel like he’s rushing. All the hygienist are friendly

Negative experience: The dentists are nice but the office staff are very clearly incompetent and rude. I came for my initial cleaning and they performed xrays that were not needed because they blew me off about double checking that they received all of xrays before performing them. I also had some fillings done here and my filling fell out within 2 weeks. The only reason they are not getting a 1 star is because the dentist was nice and tried their best to rectify the issues caused by the office staff. Still would not recommend this office unless you like getting overcharged and have surprise bills.

Fantastic experience: The staff was all super nice and very helpful, including calling my insurance to make sure everything was valid. I also was extremely surprised at how gentle they were with the cleaning and flossing... I haven't been to the dentist in over 5 years and was expecting the harsh treatment that I remember in previous years (no one's fault, that's just how it used to be in prior years at my old dentists' offices), but my Dental Hygenist, Arlene, was extremely gentle, yet thorough. I was recommended to see Dr. Mopidevi by a few of her current patients and she was wonderful--very sweet and personable. I'd recommend her anytime. And to top it off, no one made me feel bad or ashamed that I haven't kept up with my dental care as well as I should over the years, which is also very different from my past experiences at prior dental offices. All in all they get a 10 out of 10 in my book! Ask for Arlene and Dr. Mopidevi if you can!!

Fantastic experience: I went in for a teeth cleaning. She explained what she would do and asked if I have any questions. She cleaned my teeth and explained what she had seen and said the Dentist would review my teeth and what she noticed. He checked my mouth and said that I needed a crown to protect my front teeth from wear. My insurance will cover it next year. They have a good staff that are friendly and willing to work with you to make sure you have options.

Fantastic experience: Greg, The dental hygienist was honestly one of the best I have ever had in my 51 years of going to the dentist. He was kind, reassuring, and professional. He was very mindful and anticipated my needs. I did not have to tell him what I needed! I am typically a very anxious person, especially at the dentist. White knuckling at the whole way through. I was so relaxed. I think I almost fell asleep a few times. I hope that Foward Dental values him! I appreciated Greg so much! I appreciate all of you! Negative experience: Unfortunately I had a bad experience with this office and I will not be back. I was charged 35.00 for a pre cancer oral screening, it was not explained to me that this was an extra cost, and not included in my insurance plan.

Fantastic experience: I have spent 6 months having my smile fixed with Dr. Tanty and Heather. I am beyond pleased with my results. Never once was I ridiculed for the state of my teeth. Dr. Tanty and Heather are a great team. I would 100% recommend them for all your dental needs!

Negative experience: Just really shocked by how the hygienist that I don't typically see treated me. And how she doesn't feel other hygienist do a good job at her office biased on what she said.. I changed offices 6 or 7 years and on schedule visits the whole time.. I knew I could improve but wow.. almost a month later and I am still stunned.

Is gentle and excellent at doing her job. My old Dentist tried to convince me for getting crowns, I was scare and never did. Dr. J. Did it! She did a great job. I am happy with my new smile.
