Fantastic experience: The BEST dental experience I've ever had and my go to from here on out. This team gave me relief after years of dentist playing whack-a-mole with my symptoms and temporary solutions. Came in for just a cracked tooth which turned into a very comprehensive assessment. I've finally had all my concerns addressed and taken seriously. They listen, they communicate, and they genuinely care. Dr. Sampson and Amari are awesome! Not in just what they do professionally, but also how they are as people. You'll be treated like a friend and not just a patient to get through. They're kindness immediately put me at ease and I knew I was in good hands from start to finish.

Negative experience: Has full services, which is nice. I had wisdom teeth removed, that was quick had zero issue with aftercare. Highly recommend the dental surgeon they have. Quick turnaround for crowns and a partial denture. However, during the crowns, they verbally instructed and then left an intern / trainee to do the mold, which had to be done twice before a trained dental technician came in to assist firsthand. My partial denture was then fitted while my mouth was numb. It was impossible to feel the fit and I obviously didn't realize how uncomfortable it was until the numbness went away. Aspen was happy to schedule a couple days later and get me in for adjustments. Technician I had rolled her eyes several times during the appointment when I told her it felt like the partial was pulling my jaw inwards and causing headaches and asking her to continue making adjustments. It took about an hour and several attempts, but they finally got a more seasoned dentist to get it to fit right. The next appointment I had, I was in for a cavity. They numbed me but then the technician said that it was her professional opinion that the wrong tooth was called out on the chart for a cavity, and that it was the neighboring tooth, which wasn't completely numb. They didn't proceed to numb the correct tooth, and there was a little bit of pain, but at that point I had enough and just wanted to get out of the chair. Yes, I should have complained, but I had enough of Aspen dental as a whole at that point. I had one more appointment and when I canceled, the receptionist didn't even inquire why I was canceling and not rescheduling.

Fantastic experience: Office staff all were wonderful to work with. Dr Sampson has a fan for life! Picking a new dentist is hard, and I am so glad I found this office

Negative experience: I never will go back to Aspen dental I went for my post up appointment and they were getting upset with me because my dentist weren't fitting and staying in my mouth they got mad cuz I was complaining about it well I just spent how many thousands of dollars I want him to fit correctly

Fantastic experience: Wow, just wow. I was in need of a last minute denture repair. My usual Waukesha location was having staffing issues and Brookfield didn't have an opening until mid May. West Allis, give yourselves a pat on the back for your upbeat environment and organized kick-ass staff. It was like a completely different experience. I don't mean to badmouth the other locations, but whoever is responsible for the culture there, kudos to all involved. Very, very well done

Fantastic experience: The entire staff were just awesome. They were personable, attentive, put your at ease, explaining everything along the way and following up with you to ensure you were doing ok in their care. In particular a young man who was a technician in obtaining impressions was the most calming, informing, gentle, with such professional people skills but also good at what he does. I felt relaxed in his care the the Dentists who have followed me.

Fantastic experience: Seen promptly near to my appointment time. Routine cleaning appt only took about a half hour which was shorter than I expected - to my delight. The dental hygienist checked in on how I was doing multiple times during the cleaning. I had purchased a water flosser at the office’s recommendation at a previous visit (not the costly water flosser the office was selling - but still) and it seems to have significantly improved my gum health. Also, I thought this was going to be $150 - but turns out it was totally covered by my dental insurance - a VERY pleasant surprise. I practically skipped out of the office!

Negative experience: Went in because I was having tooth pain. I know I need teeth extrated. Offered me a lot of steps. Need a cleaning, Need braces. Maybe try a filling on one of the teeth then a root canal if the filling doesn't work. After an hour nearly two hours made an appointment for two days later to get the teeth extracted and told to deal with the pain for two days. Left in more pain than I arrived in and decided to cancel the appointment and find help elsewhere. Wish they could have told me I wouldn't be able to actually get help when I made the appointment. Lost time and money

Fantastic experience: Truly can say my opinion on the dentist office has changed. My anxiety is silly when I know i need to make a visit. But honestly the entire staff are second to none! The positive vibes made things that are serious a breeze. High five to them all even the ones I haven't met. Dr Sampson is a beast with it she gets an extra high five.

Yesterday she did work on my front teeth and let me say she is an artist and a Dr. I feel confident again. I dont often leave reviews but my average dentist experience has been horrible. A new bar of quality and comfort has been established and my faith in dentists may have been restored. I cant thank you enough

Negative experience: It's taken me a while to leave this review because I needed time to process the trauma. I called early one morning and made an appointment to get my partials fixed. The lady on the phone told me that they could get me in that morning. It was a bitterly cold day. I took two busses to get there. I was greeted, asked about my insurance and the receptionist gave me a form to fill out. As I was filling out the form, the receptionist stopped me and told me that they couldn't help me because I was on Medicaid, even though I was not using Medicaid to pay. I was paying with my own money. It made absolutely no sense whatsoever. The lady on the phone said nothing about this, nor does their website state this. I am disabled and autistic and I have faced unimaginable cruelty rejection, discrimination and trauma in my life. Aspen Dental only added to my trauma that morning.

Negative experience: Last year, my husband and I came here to establish care. Upon scheduling, I chose Dr. Austin Kim but they gave us a different dentist. That should be fine but after the xray, I waited for the hygienist for almost an hour. Then after the screening they wanted us to do the super expensive treatments they “recommended”. They refused for us to just do cleaning for now if we didn’t take the ones they want. Then after saying no to them which was a struggle because they kept pushing, we got out and I thought the stress was over. But no, they charged my husband who was supposed to be under my dental insurance. I had to call them and the insurance many times for two months but still was not resolved. Thankfully they just wrote it off because it was their mistake on the claim anyway. I will never again make a mistake on going to an Aspen Dental.

I left with a complete plan of action knowing what would be done and what the cost would be and more importantly, that they could do all the things there at this location... Andrea my hygienist was so gentle and thorough in cleaning my teeth and Dr. Sampson was very kind and informative while giving me ample time to ask questions etc. My xray tech was also phenomenal and I regret not remembering her name. She was my first impression and she was so thoughtful and kind I felt like I was hanging out with a friend. My helper with billing was also very patient, informative and kind. I am so happy I choose to go to their practice today and feel very secure with the future dental work to be done.Thank you Aspen Dental team! Keep on doing exactly what your doing!

Negative experience: It was so easy to make an emergency appointment on a Sunday night for my husband. He broke a tooth. The check in was easy.but appointment went south from there. He needed xrays before he could see the dentist. My husband is 80 yrs old, hearing problems and has mild cognitive issues and they were told that. I asked the tech to come and get me if she is having any issues with him. She didn’t . After 15 minutes she brought him out and 10 minutes later I was told the tech would not work with him. I wish she would have come and gotten me. Now I have to find someone else to pull the rest of his broken tooth. He was spiraling the rest of the day because of how he was treated. I am so frustrated and upset, and don't know where I can take him. Plus he is not willing to go anywhere else to get tooth pulled. Guess we will have to wait until he can not stand the pain and go to an emergency room.

Fantastic experience: I typically dont like dentists. Dr.Sampson and Janaya felt like friends. Made everything easy and as stressless as possible. Even after an extraction we were chuckling as I walked out.

Negative experience: I had 2 teeth extracted by Dr. Sampson. I told her before the procedure that I was going on vacation to a little Island in the BVI and they don't have medical facilities there so if she thinks I will have any problems, I can wait until I get back to have this done. She said no, it should be fine. She starts the procedure and gets the first tooth out, no problem and pretty quick. Then she says this one might be a little tricky because it had a root canal done on it previously and sometimes it goes up in sinus but that shouldn't happen. We'll she gets almost done and tells me. You know the part I mentioned about the root canal going up into sinus, I said yes. She said we'll it did. Then she plugged my nose and kept telling me to blow and showing her assistant look that is actually her sinus that is open. Then she made me bight down on gauze and had me go with her assistant to get another x-Ray. She came back and said she was not touching the other one because she is not trained to do this kind of thing. She sutered me up and said I would have to see the oral surgeon on Feb 3rd which was 2 days before I leave on my Catarmaran and snorkeling trip. Her assistant comes in with this paper that says I have an exposed sinus and I cannot sneeze, blow my nose, swim for a month. I went home because I was in so much pain which she said I wouldn't be, and called them back and told them I needed to see an oral surgeon. They got me in the next day. The oral Surgeon and staff at Germantown were wonderful, the doctor looked inside and said did you know you have an exposed sinus and that can be very serious. You have to keep that area clean so nothing gets in the sinus. She got the rest of the tooth out and gave me antibiotics and pain meds. Only bad thing is she did not give me enough pain medication and I am in tremendous pain and I have been talking to her assistants to find out what she suggests and she is not getting back to them and in the meantime. My right side of my face is absolutely killing me. Also, just by the look and talk. I could tell Dr. Sampson should not have done that tooth. Why didn't she take that 3D picture before she tried pulling it out instead of after.

Fantastic experience: This is the best dentist since my first root canal in 1995!! I came in with a busted partial, the tooth had detached in the front! I was down and depressed about it and had been to several dentists that "couldn't do anything." When I tell you they had me- I wanted to leave because I couldn't get it fixed right then and there, just over it! The staff basically BEGGED me to stay and insisted they could help and have this done very quickly! I stayed, took the x rays, met with the dentist and I recieved a new partial in a week!!!!! Do you understand!!!! I was then given a comprehensive dental exam and a mapped plan to restore health, function and vanity to my teeth! Minimization of invasive procedures, focusing on health first, then Cosmetics! All to be done in a very timely manner! I then met with the financial counselor and was given several payment options and plans with a loan of very low interest! This is the best dentist yet! I've been to other dentists that wanted to remove my teeth and put in implants just for the money! The dentist here insisted that was ludacris to remove a forty year old's teeth when there are many more options.. a few extractions, Periodontal disease eliminated, retainer for alignment and whitening, and one implant! Let's go!!!! Thank you Aspen Dental, you're the best!! See you soon!!!

Fantastic experience: I am not a fan of dentists. Horrible experiences most times I go. Today I had a tooth extraction because of a break in the center of one of my teeth. The dentist that took care of me today was great and made sure I felt comfortable and numb enough before the extraction.

Negative experience: I had been going to this Aspen for a little over a year and I just left and switched to a new dentist and what a relief! If you can please run as far away from this office as possible!!! The dentist(Teske) is rude as all heck! She is not professional at all. And talks down to her patients and staff! I think she is a good dentist but her very bad attitude overshadows it. She has a very nasty and unsettling chair side manner! I was told she’s the owner! Once I heard that it was no wonder why the place is like it is. Her office manager (Rella or Rello) is clueless and is ALWAYS all over the place. She is NO help at all. As an office manger(in sales) myself I thought she was always very unprofessional. That office is extremely over booked and chaotic. The dental assistant(Tatti) whom I always had was about the only nice person in the place. I was thinking about making a complaint with corporate about this office and the dentist but before doing so I called to speak with the office manager as suggested by my new dentist. And to my surprise I spoke with the new office manager(Katie) whom was very nice and knowledgeable. So I decided to hold off on calling corporate.

Negative experience: I take off of work to go to the dentist. Make an appointment online. Get confirmation but when I go there they're closed. OK, not a big deal. Maybe something happened so I make another appointment for teeth cleaning and cavity feeling when I get there they start to scan me in. I ask, what are the procedures getting done. Oh no, we only have you down. As you are scanning in, we will not be doing those services today i'm over it. I have really good insurance. And I don't have to pay out-of-pocket for any services. And I will never go back to that clinic. What a big disappointment. Apparently, you just can't count on anybody these days.

Fantastic experience: I only had a consultation today. They were very polite, informative, and very understanding of my situation. The prices were very great much lower than the other consultation that I went to I will be coming back.

Positive experience: The staff was friendly, but I had to wait a very long time. I waited a half hour past my scheduled appointment time, then was called back and x rays were taken. I then waited over a half hour in the exam room until a hygienist came in. Then waited again for the doctor. Then waited even longer to get a consultation for the dental work I need done. I was there for 3 hours.
